This chapter is about Makoto's defense in Vale.

So here it is Chapter 45 of SOR
Chapter 45: Beginning of the End: The Master of the Wild Card
Location: Vale Commercial District
Time: 6:30 pm
The battle for Beacon has begun. Grimm invading the city the armies of Atlas trying to fight back the enemy and civilians attempting to escape. Makoto, Aigis and Koromaru rushed to the town and finds it under attack by multiple forms of Grimm with no unit from the Atlas army to intercept.
"Where the hell is the most powerful army in the world when you need them?" Makoto said before pulling out his ax and his Evoker. "Aigis try and get the people out of here, while me and Koromaru will deal with the Grimm." He added before Koromaru was ready to pounce.
"Roger!" Aigis said before loading her sniper attachment before the group rushed the attacking Grimm.

A group of Beowulves rushed towards the trio only to be intercepted by Koromaru who summoned Cerberus and immediately destroys three of them before Aigis leaps in the air. Makoto cuts down a couple of Beowulves with his axe before summoning Jikokuten and orders him to cut down a couple of Boarbartusk. Jikokuten then takes out two more Boarbartusk before punching a hole of a Beowulf's gut. The Persona then take out a few more Grimm to clear the area of the Grimm. Jikokuten then returns to Makoto as he takes out a few more Ursais with his ax then kicks a Beowulf by the face before cutting it in half.
Koromaru grabs a kunai from the ground and instantly cuts down a couple of Beowulves before landing to the ground. He then summoned Cerberus and orders it to take out a few more of the wolf Grimm in the area. Cerberus then pounced on an Ursa then decapitates the Grimm with its left paw before unleashing a fire ball towards a group of incoming Boarbartusk which sends them in the air, giving the canine Persona user to leap in the air and cut them down with its kunai.
Aigis lands to the ground and snipes out a trio of Griffons in the air before taking out an incoming Ursa. She then kicks the bear Grimm on the face which puts it on the ground before summoning Palladion to destroy it. Aigis then takes out a few more Griffons before before punching a Beowulf on the face so hard, causing the Grimm to explode. The cyborg Persona user then reloads her rifle before summoning Palladion again, ordering her to take out a group of Griffons from the air to clear the skies of any Grimm.
Aigis then saw a group of civilians trapped inside a tumbled bus while it was being attacked by a group of Ursai. She immediately rushed towards the attacking Grimm and took them out by either using her rifle or summoning her Persona. She then breaks the door of the bus to help the civilians to escape.
"Wait, my daughter is still in there!" one of the female civilians said before Aigis turns back and heads inside the bus.
Aigis finds the daughter at the back of the bus beneath the seat. Aigis gets the seat off the bus floor before grabbing the girl and placed her by the shoulder. As they were about to get out of the bus a giant Ursa rams the bus causing it to launch towards a building. Aigis protected the daughter from the shattered glass and the debris before jumping out of the bus with the girl and lands on the ground. The Ursa then rushed towards the duo only to be cut down by Makoto, as he summoned Titan to protect them.
The mother immediately rushed towards her and thanked the duo. As they walked back to the group an Atlas airship lands on the street and a group of four Atlesian Knights exit the aircraft and starts loading it up with the civilians. Makoto approached the pilot within the ship, which happens to be human.
"Get these people to safety." Makoto said before the last civilian enters the ship as gets off.
"Got it kid." The pilot replies as Makoto gets off the ship. "How about you kids?" he asked.
"We got this handled, you just get them out of here." Makoto replied before the ship door closes.
The ship then departs from the area leaving the trio with the Atlesian Knights with them.
After the ship left another group of Grimm appeared before them and the Atlesian Knights steps forward and started shooting towards them. Makoto and Koromaru immediately rushed towards the incoming horde while Aigis stays behind and resumes shooting along the robotic soldiers.
Makoto and Koromaru were able to cut down a trio of Beowovles before simultaneously decapitates an Ursa. After dealing with the group of Grimm the Atlesian Knights moves ahead leaving the trio to regroup. Until a Death Stalker appears before and immediately destroys the Atlesian Knights before confronting the Persona users.
The scorpion Grimm lunged it stinger towards the trio only to miss as they jump to their side. Aigis started shooting by eyes causing it to go blind before Koromaru leaps towards it face and summoned Cerberus to destroy the left pincer before cutting its eyes out before jumping off the giant Grimm giving Makoto an opening. He then summons Loki and orders it to fire an energy ball towards the Grimm which disintegrates it entirely.

As the giant Grimm was dealt with the trio regrouped at the street.
"That's it for this area then, where to next Aigis?" Makoto asked as Aigis's eyes brightens up for a few seconds.
"We may have a problem." She said as Makoto turns to her.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
SOR
Location: Town Square
Time: 7:00 pm
At the city's square Team FHNT were fighting alongside a few Atlesian Knights against a horde of Grimm.
Frederick and Tarent cuts down a couple of Beowuvles while Hector punches an Ursa by the gut causing a hole with at the bear Grimm. Nathan started shooting his pistols towards the flying pack of Griffons with the Atlesian Knights.
Frederick cuts down a few Beowulves before decapitating an Ursa in one swing motion. He then saw a pack of Boarbartusk rushing towards him and his team before transforming his sword to its gun mode and started blasting towards the boar Grimm pack. He was able to take out four of the incoming Boarbartusk before switching back to melee and cuts down a couple of them before teleporting towards a trio of Ursai and decapitates them with one sword swipe. Before Grabbing an Ursa by the face then puts it on the ground before infusing his sword ice energy then stabs the bear Grimm by the back, causing its body to freeze and turned into a block of ice. He then cuts down a few more Creeps before stabbing one Creep and turning its body into another block of ice. He then cuts an incoming Griffon in half causing the body of the Grimm into ice and crash to the ground taking out a duo of Beowulves that were rushing towards Hector.
Hector continues to punch and kick against the horde of Grimm surrounding him. He grabs a Beowulf by its fang then slams it to left at the same time pulling it out of the jaw. He then stabs it at an Ursa by the eye then breaks its jaw with an uppercut, destroying the Grimm in the process. He then grabs one of the ice blocks then absorbs it before stomping the ground causing ice spikes to levitate in the air near him. A group of Griffons were descending down upon them. Hector punches the air in front of him and sends the ice spikes towards flying Grimm pack, causing them to fall after being stabbed by the ice spikes. One Griffon was caught by Hector only to be ripped apart by the brawler and use its body as a weapon by bashing its carcass to a nearby Ursa. He then infused his fist and feet with and earth element then rushed towards an Ursa group. Hector leaps in the air and delivers an aerial side kick which hits one of the bear Grimm by the face the hits another by the gut while ending the kick with the third Ursa getting destroyed completely.
Nathan breaks away from the robot group then rushed towards a pack of Beowulves closing on their position. When he they got close enough he proceeds to cut down four of them with his sword before throwing his axe towards another Beowulf. The axe hits the wolf Grimm by the head before dropping to the ground. Nathan grabs the axe from the Grimm's skull before decapitating another Beowulf with it. He then transform his axe into its pistol form and started firing at the Grimm pack. Nathan was able to shoot down a couple of Ursais a Creep and trio of Beowulves. Then a flock of Griffons descends upon them only to be shot down by Nathan who shoots with both of his pistols before combining his weapons into its crossbow form. Nathan started shooting energy bolts towards an Ursa alpha causing the Grimm to be stunned. He then switches to its greatsword mode and cuts down the stunned Ursa with one sword slash.
Tarent wall jumps in between two buildings until he reached the roof of one of the buildings and sensed a group of Griffons flocking over his position. He pulls out his chained sickle and hurls it towards one of the winged Grimm and cuts down its wings before pulling it back. He hurls it again and decapitates another Griffon from the air before pulling back his sickle. The Grimm flock then dives towards the blind Huntsman who runs towards the edge of the building before jumping of causing on of the Griffons to crash on the edge of the building. The body of the stunned Grimm begins to descend with Tarent who rides the body then kills the Grimm by decapitating it with his sickle. Tarent used the body of the Griffon to protect him from the fall then kicks back up. He then sensed a pack of Beowulves rushing towards a mother along with her baby, trapped inside a store and confronts them. Tarent transform his sickle to its spear form and rushed the incoming Grimm. As they meet in the middle Tarent takes out a couple of Beowulves with one thrust of his spear then proceed to take out a couple more of the wolf Grimm with his spear. He then create two wind spheres then kicks them towards the pack. The spheres exploded near the Grimm's position, sending them in the air as Tarent unleashed a wave of wind energy to cut them down to clear the area.
The team regrouped by the street only to be greeted by a King Taijitu from one of the buildings before it lunged one of its heads towards the team. Hector kicks the head to the left causing the giant snake Grimm to stagger. Nathan fires a barrage of thunder bolts at the downed Grimm which stun the Grimm some more giving an opportunity for both Frederick and Tarent to attack it. The dhamphir infused his sword with yellow energy while the blind warrior infused his scythe with wind energy. Both Huntsmen cut down the body of the King Taijitu until it is completely destroyed.
After dealing with the giant Grimm Makoto, Aigis and Koromaru arrived at the area and meet up with team FHNT.
"Ah Aigis, glad you can join us." Frederick said as Makoto steps forward.
"Listen, we have a big problem." Makoto said before the Atlesian Knights in the area deactivates on by one.
"What happened to these guys?" Nathan said as he jabs one of the Atlesian Knights with his finger.
After a few seconds the Knights boots up and faced the group. The Knights then aimed their weapons towards them.
"Uh oh." Nathan said before the robot soldiers fires their weapons towards the Huntsmen only to be blocked by Aigis who summoned Palladion to deflect the bullets.
Makoto summoned Archangel and orders it to take out the Atlesian Knights by firing a barrage of holy arrows. The arrows takes out the robots by their heads as they fall to the ground.
"What happened to these guys?" Hector said as Aigis steps forward.
"My systems were able to detect a malfunction to any Atlas military units. Apparently all the Atlas robots in the city has been infected by a virus." She replied as Makoto stood up.
"So that's what she was doing at the CCT…" Makoto said before he turns to team FHNT. "If this is happening to the Atlesian Knights here then the whole Atlas army here in Vale then…" he said before him and everyone left the area.
SOR
Location: Beacon Shopping District
Time: 7:15 pm
After learning the recent development concerning the robotic army of Atlas in Vale, Makoto, Koromaru and Aigis along with team FHNT arrived at the market area of the city only to find broken down parts and pieces of any Atlas unit.
"Whoa, what could have caused all this property damage?" Nathan jokingly said as he inspects one of the broken down robots.
"I detect that no Grimm signature that destroyed these units." Aigis said.
"Then what you're saying is whatever destroyed these bastards, was a human?" Makoto asked.
"That is correct." The cyborg said as Frederick started noticing a blood trail towards an injured Atlas soldier.
"We have a survivor here!" he shouted as the group checked on the soldier.
Aigis then scans the soldier's body to search for any injuries and the source of blood loss.
"He has loss forty percent of his blood, we need to close up the wound on his back." She said before both Hector and Nathan turns the man over revealing his wound which was from his left kidney area
Hector then patches up the wound while Frederick sews it up with a few medical supplies from a tumbled ambulance. After a few seconds Hector gets the soldier to sit up and face the group.
"What happened here?" Frederick asked.
"We just rescued a group of civilians, until the Atlesian Knights that were assisting us malfunctioned and attacked me and my crew." The soldier replied.
"They weren't malfunctioned. They were infected with a virus that came from the CCT here in Vale." Makoto replied before noticing the destruction of the robotic soldiers in the area. "But I got to ask, what wrecked these robots?" he asked.
"There were two guys and a red-head who destroyed them. And we didn't knew how they do it. The machines were either broken to pieces or cut in half. Either way they were destroyed nonetheless." The soldier replied as Makoto was able to recognize the attackers.
"Oh boy, where gonna be in for a wild ride." He said as Aigis stood up.
"I am detecting three life signatures approaching the area." She said as Makoto readied his Evoker.
Three individuals arrived in the area, one was a pale long haired man without a shirt on with pants. Another has green haired combed to the left side wearing a green sweater and eye glasses along with black pants holding a briefcase with his left hand and a grenade on the other. The last individual was a red-haired girl wearing a strange maid outfit wielding an axe.
"It would seems, that the presence we felt was from you three." The pale man said.
"Who's he talking to?" Nathan asked as Makoto, Koromaru and Aigis stepped forward.
"That would be us." Makoto said before turning to team FHNT. "You guys go on ahead, we'll deal with this." He said.
"But-" Frederick said before Aigis stops him.
"Sir Frederick, this is a Persona matter. Please leave this to us." She said before team FHNT looked at each other before leaving the trio.
"Now then…" the pale man said before pulling out a revolver from his back "…shall we begin?" he added before aiming towards the trio.
"Wait Takaya…" the green haired said to the pale man who is now named Takaya.
"No Jin, they must be eliminated now!" Takaya said to blue-haired boy named Jin.

Takaya then starts shooting towards the trio who rolls away from their spots and seek cover from pale man. Makoto summoned Titan then orders it to send the car that he was using as cover and sends it to the shooter. The red-haired girl steps forward and summoned her Persona.
"Medea!" she said as the Persona materialized and cuts down the car in half.
Aigis rushed towards the red-head and summoned Palladion to attack the lanky Persona. Medea swings he knife towards the incoming mechanical Persona who uses its lance to block the knife. Aigis then aims her rifle attachment towards the red-head and fires a shot only to have it miss as she bends back before rushing toward the cyborg Persona user. The red-head maid swings her axe while Aigis grabs it with her left hand. Aigis then kicks the girl back to gains some distance before shooting again three times, only to miss again as the girl either evaded the bullets or deflects them.
"Chidori back up!" Jin shouted to the red-head girl named Chidori.
Chidori backs up and regroups with both Takaya and Jin while the pale man formulates a strategy against the trio. Makoto summoned Jatayu and orders the bird Persona to unleash a tornado towards the enemy users. Takaya steps front and summons his Persona.
"Hypnos!" he said as he summoned Hypnos of the Fortune Arcana.
Hypos unleashed a barrage of lightning to counter the tornado from Jatayu before firing an ice block toward the Makoto. Koromaru steps forward and summoned Cerberus which melts the ice block with its flames.
"Moros!" Jin said while adjusting his glasses before summoning Moros of the Hermit Arcana.
Moros' body begins to light up while Jin opens the suitcase which holds a laptop and pulls it out. He boots up the laptop and begins to scan for any details on the trio, searching for possible weakness and exploit them. After a few seconds Jin was able to detect a weakness thanks to Moros' scanning ability.
"The bird and cyborg are weak against thunder while the dog hates sunlight." He said as both his teammates nod and rushed towards the trio.
Takaya aimed his revolver towards Makoto and fired a few shots at him only to be deflected by Jatayu. Hypnos then fires a thunder bolt towards Jatayu which shocked the bird Persona at the same Makoto, leaving him vulnerable to Takaya who shoots two more shots towards Makoto. But just as the shots were about to make their mark Aigis shoots down the bullets with her rifle and deflects the shots before shooting towards Takaya. Chidori again deflects Aigis' bullets with the help of her Persona before ordering it to sends a fire ball towards her. Palladion deflects the fire ball back to Medea which was cut down with her knife. Makoto breaks free of the shock he received from Hypnos then pulls out his Evoker and aimed it on his head.
"Koumokoten!" he shouted while summoning Koumokuten of the Emperor Arcana.
Makoto then orders his newly summoned Persona to attack the trio who readied themselves for the incoming attack. Chidori steps forward and summoned Medea to intercept while Takaya aimed his pistol towards Makoto. The two Personas met in the middle but Koumouten has more power between the two and immediately takes over the fight and slams Medea to the grounds then towards a wall, causing her Persona user to fly towards a wall. Takaya fires three shots from his revolver towards Makoto only to have then deflected by Koumokuten then sends it back to the shooter. Hypnos protected his user by using a wind spell and sends the bullets in various spots of the area. Jin then pulls the pin of his grenade then tossed it towards Makoto. Koumokuten kicks the grenade away from Makoto who then puts away his sword and grab his axe from his back before rushing towards the trio. Chidori met him in the middle and they trade blows with their axes but due to the strength of the currently equipped Persona Makoto was able to overpower his red-haired opponent, before Aigis steps in and deals with her. Makoto and Koromaru then charges towards the two remaining Persona user with one of them started using his ability to scan his opponents.
"Takaya, the ogre is weak against fire." Jin said as Takaya grinned and aimed his revolver at Makoto.
"Hypnos!" Takaya said as he summoned his Persona before firing a few shots from his revolver.
Hypnos fires the same amount of fireballs and infused them with Takaya's bullets which were heading towards Makoto. Koromaru steps in and summoned Cerberus to block the incoming fire as Makoto continues to move forward. Makoto then pulls out his Evoker and aimed it on his head and summoned Titania and orders her to infuse ice magic on his axe. As he got close enough Makoto swings his axe towards Takaya who simply bends back just to evade the axe swipe. The blue-haired Persona user kept on swinging his ice-enhanced weapon as his pale opponent who kept on evading his attacks until Takaya aimed his revolver towards Makoto. He then fired three shots which only be deflected by his opponent. Makoto again summoned Titania who unleashed a wind spell to get Takaya off his feet giving Makoto an opening to hit him. He swung his ax but Hypnos steps in the way and protects his user from the attack. He then delivers a spinning back kick towards Takaya, pushing him back a few steps.
"How dare you?!" Takaya shouted as he resumes firing his revolver towards Makoto.
Makoto simply flips to the side and lands on the ground before pulling out his Evoker and aimed it on his head.
"Virtue!" he shouted as he summoned Virtue of the Justice Arcana.
Takaya became curious as he turns to Jin who was dealing with Koromaru who ordered Cerberus to pounce at him. Jin throws one of his grenades at three-headed canine Persona before jumping off the rumble. The grenade explodes but to no avail as Cerberus was able to deflect the explosion, sending shockwaves towards Chidori and Jin. The blue-haired four eyed user then summoned Moros and immediately orders it to shoot a rain of arrows towards Koromaru. The Shiba Inu rolls to the right and immediately summons Cerberus again, ordering him to fire a barrage of fireballs towards Moros. The fireballs hits Moros, causing its body to burn and forcing Jin to return it to his body.
"Jin, how come the blue-hair can change different Personas?!" Takaya asked to his four-eyed teammate.
"I don't know, maybe he has different Personas." Jin replied as Aigis sends Chidori next to him.
"Takaya, we should retreat. This is a much unexpected enemy." Chidori said as Takaya rolls next to Jin.
"No, we must eliminate them here and now!" said by the pale-man before reloading his revolver before Jin stops him.
"No Takaya, we exerted enough energy for one night. Let these three die of a horrible death here in Beacon." he said as he pulls the pin of a smoke grenade tossed it in front of them, creating a smoke screen and escape the area.

"So that was trio Tsubasa was talking about…" Makoto said before a strong but quick rumble was felt from the ground. "What the hell was that?" he said as Aigis opens a port from her right wrist and locate the source of the rumble.
"It appears that there was a seismic activity beneath the academy." She said as her scanner was able to detect enemy movement beneath the school. "I'm currently looking to it now." Aigis said as she investigates on the area where it happened.
Makoto then took a few steps forward and knelt to the ground while holding his axe with his left hand. He then placed his free hand to the ground and close his eyes trying to sense any malevolent disturbance with a technique, which he learned from both Dante and Koga. After few seconds Makoto pulls his back from the ground and immediately stood back up.
"Aigis what did you find?" Makoto asked as Aigis closed the port on wrist and faces him.
"It appears that the Grimm is not our only problem tonight." She replied before Makoto widens his eyes and realizing what she meant.
The trio immediately leaves the area and heads back to Beacon.

Location: Beacon Entrance
Time: 7:45 PM
As the battle at city was happening Burai and team RRAT were defending the academy from the Grimm along with Tsubasa and Jabi.
Aguri and Rhian shooting from a distance while Burai unleashes a barrage of spells with his brush. Takeru and Jabi were cutting down a trio of Ursai while Tsubasa and Ryuga deals with the Grimm near the bridge. After taking out the wave of Grimm in the area the regrouped at the warrior's statue.
"The attacks are getting more aggressive priest." Takeru said as he tries catch his breath.
"I agree, good thing I was able to get Hakana out of the mansion. Now we to hold out until the evacuees in the Academy are out." Burai said.
"Priest, we may not survive this one. Apparently the Grimm comes in waves and each of them tougher than the rest." Aguri said as he adjust one of the tips of his arrows.
"Don't say that yet. Looks like we got company." Rhian said the group turns to the bridge and saw Makoto along with Aigis and Koromaru running towards them.
"Oh, its only Makoto and Aigis." Tsubasa said as he hits the butt of his spear to the ground.
"You guys need to get out of here now, we got big problem." Makoto said as he catches his breath.
"What is it, what's the matter?" Takeru said as another rumble was felt from the ground, causing Rhian to fall to the ground.
"You okay?" Ryuga asked as he helps his partner back to her feet.
"Yeah, what was that all about?" Rhian said as Aigis opens the port on her wrist again and scan the area for seismic activity.
"It appears that we have incoming." She said before closing the port then loads up her rifle.
Strong winds was blowing towards the group as they look up and a giant dragon like Grimm was flying towards the academy. The dragon then hovers around the school at the same time numerous flying Grimm were diving from the sky and heading towards Beacon, ranging from Nevermores and Griffons.
"You just had to say it." Makoto said as he pulls out his spear and Evoker as the Grimm flock rushes towards them.
Aigis and Aguri aim their weapons towards the Grimm and started a barrage of bullets and arrows which hit and destroyed a bunch of them. Rhian and Burai applied levitation spells to both Takeru and Ryuga before the duo leaps in the air and starts cutting down the flying Grimm horde. Makoto then summoned Jatayu and orders the bird Persona to give him levitation ability before flying in the air a starts thrusting his spear towards the Grimm horde. The trio was able to cut down almost half of before landing back to the group. Tsubasa then steps forward and flicked his left earing to use his telekinesis and call upon some debris near him before both Koromaru and Jabi infuse the debris with fire magic. Tsubasa then unleashed the burning debris towards the remaining avian Grimm flock, leaving the giant dragon alone in the area.
"Okay how do we deal with this one?" Ryuga said before Makoto's scroll starts ringing.
"Hello?" Makoto said after answering the call.
"Makoto, can you hear me?!" the caller said who reveals to be Koga.
"What's wrong Koga?" He replied.
"You and everyone need to get out of there!" Koga said before taking out a Beowolf with his sword.
"Why, what's going on?" Makoto asked.
"There was an earthquake in Beacon earlier, the source is beneath the school." Koga replied from the scroll.
"I think we found the source right here." Makoto said as he shows Koga the dragon Grimm through his scroll.
"No brother, that's not the source of the quake." Koga said before taking out an Ursai with his sword. "I'll tell you guys more about it, but you need to get out of the area now!" Koga said before cutting off the call.
"You heard the man. Let's get the hell out of here!" Makoto said before the group gets away from the area leaving the dragon Grimm to circle Beacon.

Location: Vale Square
Time: 8:20 pm
After receiving the call from Koga, Makoto Aigis and Koromaru along with Team RRAT leaves the academy and head towards the docks and evacuate the city while Tsubasa and Jabi along with Burai heads to other parts of the city and look for civilians. As the group kept moving Makoto felt a Shadow's presence which made him stop on his tracks.
"Hey Makoto!" Takeru shouted after he noticed and stopped moving.
"Aigis, you and Koromaru stay here. The rest of you guys get out of here, this one is ours to kill." Makoto said as he pulls out both his Evoker and sword.
Knowing that an enemy is nearby Ryuga and the rest of team RRAT left area to Makoto, Aigis and Koromaru. Aigis then walks next to Makoto and loads her rifle while Koromaru grabs a kunai from the ground.
Out of the shadows of a burning building near the town square, a man appeared wearing a trench coat and hat. He then walked in front of the trio and face them.
"Target confirmed…." The man said as he pulls put six syringes from his coat. "Commence…termination…" he said before injecting all six syringes at his arm at the same time.
"What the?!" Makoto said with a shocked expression after seeing the man stabbing himself with the syringes.
"He has inject himself with Shadow blood, in any moment he will became on as well." Aigis said after scanning the man's body.
"With what type of Shadow?" Makoto asked as he turns to her.
"With six different types of Shadows…" she replied as the man's body begins to transform.
The man's body begins growing up to at least twelve feet and body mass was getting wider and buffer, destroying his coat and hat in the process. His body then begins to grow a pair of horse legs from the back. His right hand was transformed into a ball and chain while his left hand turns into a spiked arm. He then grew another pair of arms with human hand from his body. His entire begins to be covered in black liquid up to his head before his face was covered with a purple mask with no number. The creature now stands before them and gave an ear piercing roar towards the trio who were ready to face this new threat.
"When I find out who is responsible for weaponizing Shadow blood I will skewer him a new one!" Makoto said before the trio rush towards hybrid Shadow.

Koroamru and Aigis immediately summoned their Personas, ordering them to attack the Shadow hybrid. Cerberus pounced the giant Shadow only to get smack with the back of the giant hybrid's right hand, sending it and Koromaru to a nearby wall. Palladion tackles the hybrid and pushes it back a few steps, as the Shadow uses its strength to push the Persona back. Aigis climbed on the back of Palladion and leaps in the air to deliver an aerial side kick towards the Shadow's chest, forcing it to lose its balance and fall on its back. She then fires a barrage of shots at the Shadow only to have them bounce off because of its steel like chest. She then tries to fire a shot towards the head only to be grabbed by the Shadow's spike arm and tossed her to a nearby lamppost. Makoto then summoned Jatayu and orders it to unleash a barrage of tornadoes to disrupt the Shadow. The hybrid stood its ground and was able to resist the tornado spells from the bird-Persona forcing Makoto to go directly towards the Shadow and use his sword. He then delivers a three slash combo towards the legs but no avail as it was hard as steel just like the chest earlier with Aigis. Makoto then attempts a thrust attack on to get sent back as the Shadow uses its front hooves and kicks him back sending him to a nearby bench.
"Okay, this is getting annoying." Makoto said as he stood back to his feet and pulls out his axe.
The giant Shadow then starts grabbing cars in the area and throws it at the trio. Makoto summoned Ares who immediately cuts the incoming car in half with his sword. Makoto orders Ares to attack the Shadow which caused a test of strength between the two. The giant Shadow was able to push Ares back a few steps until Aigis kicks one of the Shadow's hind leg forcing to kneel. Koromaru uses his kunai to swipe the other leg forcing it to stand on his front legs giving Ares an opportunity to slam the Shadow down to the ground. Ares then uses his shield and bash the Shadow, sending it towards a burning building. The Shadow rises up from the rubble and immediately rushed towards the trio. Makoto pulls out his Evoker and immediately summons a new Persona.
"Ubelluris!" He shouted as Ubelluris of the Hanged Man Arcana appears before him.
Ubelluris collides with the giant Shadow which caused a small rumble in the area. The Shadow throws a haymaker with one of its left hands only to be blocked by the stone giant's right hand. The hybrid then attempts to use one of its right arms only to be countered by Ubelluris, which actually cracked the jaw of the Shadow. Ubelluris then then delivered a flurry of punches towards the chest of the hybrid before ending it by delivering a right hook with the fist being large causing the impact to be more powerful. The hybrid was pushed back to the building where it crashed earlier. The hybrid rises from the rubble again only to be blasted by fire balls from Cerberus, who was ordered by Koromaru. As the hybrid was receiving the rain of fire Cerberus Aigis aims her sniper towards the giant Shadow's eyes and fires a trio of shots, which blinds the creature. Koromaru then pounced towards the downed hybrid. Cerberus bites two of the hybrid's arms with his left and right heads before using his middle head and attempt to bite off the Shadow's head, until the hybrid broke free and bashed the three-headed dog with its spike arm.
Realizing that the normal attacks have been ineffective against the Shadow Aigis activates her Orgia mode and immediately rushed towards the enemy. The giant hybrid swings one of its arms only to be parried by a kick from the cyborg who then delivers an aerial side kick to the face, forcing the beast to again fall on its back. Aigis then lands on her feet and fires shot from her rifle until the magazine is empty before summoning Palladion again. She then kicked the Persona to build momentum, sending her towards the downed Shadow. Palladion was able to rip off the hybrid's spike arm and its other left arm before heading back to Aigis. She then kick the Persona again towards the giant Shadow which got back up to its feet and uses its ball and chain arm to catch the incoming Persona before slamming her to the ground causing it to dissipate. Aigis then rushed towards the Shadow who uses its chain and launches it towards the incoming cyborg. Aigis slid under the ball before grabbing the chain and using all of her strength to slam the Shadow on top of its head before reloading her rifle with a new magazine while Makoto pulls out both his sword and axe. Aigis fires three more shots from her rifle which hits their mark, two by the legs and two by the chest. Makoto then summons Ares before rushing towards the giant hybrid. Ares grabs the ball from the chain then detaches it by using his sword before delivering an upward slash forcing the hybrid back. Makoto then delivers a few sword swipes before jabbing his axe right at the chest of the Shadow. He then summoned Siegfried and immediately orders it to bash its shield towards the axe to jab it even further. Siegfried then stabs the hybrid by its left shoulder with his sword before bashing his shield on the Shadow's head causing it to stumble back. Makoto attempts to finish off the hybrid only to get smacked and sent towards a lamppost. Seeing that her ally has been taken out Aigis, still in Orgia mode rushed towards the hybrid at the same time summoning Palladion. The mechanical Persona tackles the giant Shadow multiple times before Aigis leaping in the air, as high as an Atlas ship before diving down towards the hybrid. As she got close enough Aigis forms another aerial side kick which landed and hits the axe on the chest, causing it to puncture even deeper. As she was about to jump off the Shadow's chest Aigis got caught by the hybrid's right arm and starts slamming her to the ground from left to right until Aigis' lower body has been destroyed and was tossed next to Makoto who just recovered.

"Aigis!" He shouted as he rushed towards his broken comrade. He then holds her by the head and faces him.
"I…did…all…I…could…" Aigis said as he eyes starts flashing. "I…must…shut…down…now…" she said before her body shuts down before Makoto lays her on the ground with tears slowly starts to fall from his eyes.
"Don't worry Aigis…" he said as he pulls out his Evoker and sword. "…I'll finish this." Makoto said as he points the Evoker on his head.
The wounded Shadow hybrid rushed towards Makoto about to take him out. Until time slowed down around Makoto as Pharos appeared before him.
"It is time…show this beast the strength that you earned from your friends…" Pharos said before disappearing in the air as time flows back.
"SUSANO-O!" Makoto shouted as he pulls the trigger and summons Susano-o of the Fool Arcana.
As the Shadow was about to punch Makoto Susano-o blocked the punch then uses his sword and deliver a few sword swipes towards the chest. He then delivers a palm strike, pushing the giant hybrid back a few steps. Susano-o stands up holds his sword with two hands before rushing towards the Shadow.

The hybrid stood up and immediately rushed the Fool Persona and swings a punch towards him. Susano-o simply blocks the punch with his sword the counters with three palm strikes before stabbing his sword on the abdomen of the giant Shadow, causing the body to leady black blood as he pulls the sword away. The Shadow roars back as it kept on bleeding while trying to attack the Persona. Susano-o bashed his sword on the face of the hybrid forcing the Shadow back before jabbing his sword on the chest of the beast before kicking it back to the ground. The giant Persona then stab the hybrid by the chest causing it to scream and bleed more before pushing Susano-o back and stand up.
"Time to end this!" Makoto said before his eyes lit up and raised his right hand.
As he was doing that the giant Shadow rushed towards him only to be halted by the Fool Persona and delivers an upper cut, sending him in the air. Susano-o then hurls his sword to Makoto who grabs it then rushed towards the stunned Shadow. Makoto leaps in the air performs a rapid succession of slashes, cutting the Shadow into multiple pieces with the sword before landing to the ground and ending the fight.

After dealing with the Shadow hybrid Makoto immediately rushed towards the broken Aigis and checks on her.
"You're going to be fine Aigis…"Makoto said before placing Aigis' parts in a nearby container and left the area with it and Makoto to meet up with his teammates.

Really sorry about the late update guys because I've been tuned in to my new job that I forget to update the story.
So anyway were almost near the end of the first books of the series guys next chapter will focus on Sora's defense of Vale.
