"So, you were sent back?" Krolia was asking as she was perched on the side of Keith's bed.
Celestia nods. "Yes."
"By whom?" Kolivan asked as he sat on the window seal. "If I may ask."
Celestia is sitting in a chair near Keith's bed, who is still knocked out cold with a bandage wrapped around his head. "Of course you may ask." She smiles at him. "It was the ancients." She turns her attention back to Keith.
There's a knock on the door, then it opens to reveal Shiro and Piper walking in. "May we come in?" She asks.
"Of course!" Krolia nods with a smile. "Please."
Shiro walks in with Piper hugging his human arm, and the two walk up to the bed. "How is he?" Shiro asks with concern.
"Still hasn't woken up yet." Celestia answered with a sigh and a frown as she reaches over to gently brush Keith's hair off his forehead a little. She suddenly jerked her hand back startled when he groaned and his eyes slowly fluttered open and he blinked a few times from the harsh light. "Keith!" Tears glittered in her eyes. "Oh, thank the ancients!"
Keith smiled at her. "Celestia? You're alive? I thought you were." He trailed off when she reached over and gently placed a finger to his lips.
"Shhh." She shushed gently. "Once you're better, I'll explain."
He took her hand and placed it on his chest, and held it there as he nodded.
"Keithy, how are you feeling?" Piper asked in concern.
"My head hurts." He groaned, using his free hand to put a hand on his head.
Piper nods as she gently places a hand on his free arm. "You have a mild concussion. But other then that, your ok."
Keith again groaned. "I have a hell of a headache!"
"I'll get you some migraine medicine." Piper promised as she stood up and walked out of the room.
A few minutes later, the door opened to reveal a man in uniform wearing Admiral strips. Shiro stood to attention and saluted, the new Admiral returned the salute.
"Cadet Kogane." He turned his attention to Keith. "I'm Admiral Rabb. How are you feeling young man?" He asked.
"A mild concussion and a hell of a headache." Keith answered, then quickly added. "A world class headache, sir." He corrected himself.
The new Admiral nods. "That's understandable. I want you and your team to take the week off so you can rest and heal, so that way the Paladins can be 100 percent by the next time Voltron is needed."
Keith blinked, but he nodded. "Of course sir. But we'll try to heal as fast as we can."
Admiral Rabb nods. "Good! That's what I like to hear." He turns to Shiro. "Captain." He address in a nice tone as he nods.
Shiro returns the nod. "Admiral."
With that the Admiral leaves the room.
After a few minutes, the door opened again to reveal Piper walking in. "Keith, I'm sorry it took so long." She apologized as she walked over to the bed. "Here." She hands him a pill, then hands the water bottle to Celestia.
Keith looks at the pill in the palm of his hand. "Just one?" He asks.
Piper folds her arms. "Of course! I sure as hell aren't letting you have the whole bottle, we all learned that lesson the hard way." She said firmly.
Keith pushed himself to sit up, Celestia helping him. "Ok, A. I was 12 and B: it was all James' fault!" He grumped, but popped the pill into his mouth and took a swing of water from the water bottle his girlfriend gave him.
Piper rolled her eyes. "Sure."
Opened his mouth ready for a smartass comment, but closed it and folded his arms with a huff.
