Emily stared at the five DNA test results in her hand, then the five kids sitting in front of her. The kids that she and her team had rescued. She couldn't believe what the results in her hand showed. How could it even be possible?
Emily knew that she needed to make a call, so she left Penelope to watch and entertain the children, while she walked away to call an old friend.
"Emily." A familiar voice answered the phone, "What can I do for you?"
"Hey Liv, my team and I rescued five kids from a warehouse where they were being held by a psychopath. We ran the kids DNA to see if we could find a match to anyone in the system, and three of the kids did match." Emily explained, "They matched to your son Noah. "
"Noah?"
"Yeah. 25%. Probably his half-siblings."
Emily heard Olivia take a breath and then say, "Okay. Did any of the three kids match to Ellie Porter?"
"No."
"Alright. Thanks Emily."
Ellie Porter is Noah's biological mother. If the kids don't match to her, then they must match to Noah's still unknown biological father.
