March 10, 2021:

Oh boy, now with the WEDNESDAY update. This is a first...I think...

Sorry, was...actually not busy at work on Monday and Tuesday. I actually used those days to do other stuff since its been a while since I was free on those days, that I forgot to update the chapter on the day.

Well, hope you are doing great today!

Without any more to say, I hope you all enjoy the chapter.

Chapter 54: Red Eyes, the Guardian of the Fire Temple.

She had read the legends…

…legends of the powerful dragons…

…how strong, proud and intimidating they were…

…how their presence could send shivers into even the most courageous of warriors…

…beings that only a true hero could even dare to face…

On the top where the Blue Eyes White Dragon. Proud dragons that will face any opponent without fear, doesn't matter if it was a mortal, other dragons…

…or even gods…

…no one could defeat them…

…however, there were another…

…the powerful Red Eyes Black Dragon…

…not as powerful as the Blue Eyes ones, but just as intimidating as them, because of one thing…

…potential…

…the potential to evolve with the help of others…

…unlike the Blue Eyes, that use their own strength to become stronger, the Red Eyes need help from others…

…and while she doesn't agree to get help from others, she can't deny the ability the Red Eyes have to become stronger…

…and become a beast that even the mighty Blue Eyes fear.

In front of the proud warrior Iridia, the Silent Paladin, was the large Red Eyes Black Dragon, transformed into a more powerful beast.

…A Meteor Black Comet Dragon…

So powerful that he was keeping even the White Dragon Dinara pinned into the ground with ease…

…and they were mere meters from where she was.

"S-Shit." Said the Silent Paladin Iridia, as she could only look upward in fear, at the mighty dragon on fire.

Even someone like her could do nothing against a powerful dragon like that one.

And she wasn't alone.

Any Spellcaster, Warrior, Elemental Hero... heck, even Heartless who doesn't normally fear anything, fear the mighty dragon. And it was not only because of his height and power…

…but because his eyes were those of a madman.

"G-Get of me!" Exclaimed Dinara, as she tried to stand up, only to have her stomped back into the ground by the Comet Dragon's heavy leg.

"Invader! White Dragon Intruder! Like the ones before!" Exclaimed the mad dragon, as he looked down at the White Dragon below him. "I MUST KILL!"

"MOVE!" Dinara exclaimed, as she managed to turn her neck just enough to release a burst of energy.

However, the Comet Dragon managed to evade the short burst of energy and mercilessly stomped over the White Dragon, causing Dinara to yell in pain. No one, not even the most courageous of warriors and powerful spellcasters could even MOVE an inch, as they were paralyzed with fear.

After all, fear of a dragon this powerful was engrained on every Spirituel's soul. No one on this planet would NOT fear a mighty dragon like this.

Kristal looked at the powerful, and yet old looking, dragon, and she could not stop shaking in fear. She can FEEL the raw power and anger that dragon emanates. A normal looking Red Eyes Black Dragon, intimidating as it was, but its skin covered in thin veins of magma, fire emanating from its wings, claws and talons, and what looked like the head of a second dragon protruding from its chest. This give it an even more intimidating aura.

"K-Kristal oneesan…w-what is t-that?" asked Kuarzo, as she unconsciously took a few steps backwards.

"I…I don't know…" said the Dark Magician Girl, not taking her eyes from the sight in front of her.

"It's the Guardian."

Kristal turned to look back at her master, trying to find some confidence. However, even though he didn't show it, Duncan was also afraid. Something in his core was telling him to flee, but he steeled himself to not do so. He was trying to find a way to beat that dragon, but even he couldn't think of a way to do so.

"Guardian?" asked Steve in confusion.

"Yes." Duncan answered. "He is the Guardian of the Valley and protector of the Fire Temple itself. He is normally a kind and…wise dragon…"

"Then WHY the hell does it look like he will bite our heads off… literally?!"

"I don't know. Something is wrong. This hate…this madness…something happened to him."

"W-We should do something!" Exclaimed Kuarzo, looking at her own master. "Anything!"

"I…I don't know what to do." Said Strum, as he himself was shaking a little. "I…I can't think of a way to beat that monster."

Everyone were just shell-shocked. They couldn't think of anything, and could only watch as the black dragon covered in flames just plummeted the white one.

They could do nothing… but watch…

A powerful roar was released by the Comet Dragon, causing every Spirituel to shake in fear, and every Heartless to…well…escape. The whole valley was immediately emptied, as Heartless turned into shadows in the floor and disappeared, wanting to escape the wrath of the Red Eyes, as they knew that, once he finishes with the White Dragon, they will be next.

After a few more seconds, the Meteor Black Comet Dragon looked down at the Blue Eyes one, as she lay almost unconscious after all that stomping. He then opened his mouth and began to charge a powerful flame attack.

He was going to kill her.

Dinara, still as a dragon, opened her eye to look at the face of her enemy, and how he was going to kill her. She then looked down, into the group of Spirituels that she was fighting form, pleading for someone to help her.

But she knew… that no matter who was…

Spellcasters, Warriors, Elemental Heroes…

…no one will save her…

…because they were too scared of the mighty dragon over her.

She turned to look at Iridia, the proud warrior that wanted to be a hero. She didn't know who she was, but she was the closest one to her. She pleaded with her look to the Paladin to help her.

…but Iridia, even if she was powerful, even if she was a prodigy, even if she wanted to be a hero.

…was afraid.

… and took a step back.

It was then that Dinara knew no one will save her, so she just gave in, and looked at her soon to be killer, the mighty red dragon, who's attack was almost ready. Even with all of her power…she could do nothing right now.

No Spellcaster… Warrior… or Elemental Hero… will save her…

Kristal wanted to do something…to do ANYTHING to help her friend… but she was scared. Never in her life has she been so scared. Only the sight of an Ancient God scared her as much, and even yet, that god was on her side. But now…that hate and power was directed to a friend, and she was scared to do anything.

A fear that every Spirtuel had in their core, engraved in their DNA. The dragons, being the most powerful beings, inspire fear in others. And someone as powerful at the Red Eyes, now turned into a Comet Dragon, was too much for any of them to handle.

Kristal closed her eyes, not wanting to see what was going to happen. She can't do anything…

No Spellcaster… Warrior… or Elemental Hero…

…No Spirituel could even DARE to face a dragon this powerful…

…No Spirituel, on the whole planet…

…will save her friend…

…however… Kristal, and all of her friends, masters and sisters forgot one thing…

"AAAAHHHHH!"

…there was one…

…who was not a Spirituel…

Suddently, she felt a wind gust pass besides her, as that woke her up from her trance. Looking forward, she noticed something have dashed at high speeds towards the red dragon…

…and that someone had a blue jacket…

When she noticed who that was…

…she panicked.

"ALAAAN!"

He didn't hear her. His mind was focused, so all of his other senses were surprised.

The moment he saw the mighty Comet Dragon prepare to finish of the White Dragon Dinara, Alan, the Human from Earth, the Keyblade Champion, the one who SHOULDN'T be on this war, immediately, without a second though, dashed towards the Dragon, ignoring all fear and danger. Even if his whole body was shaking in fear a few seconds ago, now his body acted on it's own.

Sure, Humans would fear Dragons if they were alive in his world, like any other Spirituel around him. However, unlike Spirituels, when Humans are overcomed with fear, they act in 3 different ways:

-They flee.

-They remain paralyzed in fear.

-Or they fight until death.

And when something threatens something that a Human holds dear…

…they sometimes choose the third option…and face death head on.

…and that is how Alan's Human instincts decided to reach.

'No one…I won't… I won't let… anyone else… TO DIE!'

Alan dashed towards the Comet Dragon. In a second he covered a large distance, as his aura flared up as high as he could. He felt time slow down as his senses concentrated on the dragon in front of him. Even with his maximum power, he knew he could never cause enough damage to the dragon to make him notice him. He need more power.

…and the only way to do it…is to compress it.

'One time…' though the human, as he tried to compress his aura as he dashed at high speed. 'Just this time…just this one…work…work…WORK!'

Alan tried to compress his aura, just like Reed did when he fought against him several days ago. The one technique he couldn't do, even when he trained with Master David, the great master of the Magical Tower.

However, he remembered something…

Something that Master David told him before he left…

"Thanks for the training, Master David." A tired Alan said, as it was the last day of his training, and he was on his way to meet his friends.

"It was an honor to have another Keyblade Champion as my disciple." David said, smiling a little. "I didn't though I would do that again."

"Yeah. It was amazing to know you were also a Keyblade Champion. It was awesome!"

"I'm sorry I couldn't teach you more, Alan. There are still many secrets that we have, secrets that you are still not ready to know. One of them is…that we are not named Keyblade Champions, actually."

"Oh? Well then! How are we called?"

"You will know in due time."

"Aw, come on!" Alan pouted, as he looked at David with annoyance.

"More mysteries will be revealed later." David said, now more serious. "However, I want you to remember one thing, Alan. And it's very Important."

"Uh? What is it?" Alan asked, now very curious of what his master will say.

David closed his eyes, as he took a deep breath.

"Remember: A Keyblade Champion…can make miracles…"

'I will create…. A miracle!'

In that moment, his whole aura compacted inside him for a second, intensifying in strength. And then, it flared up again, even more powerful than before, surprising everyone in the field.

"LIMIT BURST!" Alan exclaimed, as he suddently charged ice energy on his left arm. "LIMIT BREAK! BLIZZAJA!"

From Alan's left hand, a powerful burst of Ice wind and energy was released, and it flew fast towards his objective. It was the most powerful Ice attack he has made, and it was cold enough that every Warrior or Spellcaster close to its path could feel an intense cold, and some of their clothes even froze by the wind alone.

The powerful ice spell continued its path, as the Meteor Black Comet Dragon was about to release its attack on Dinara. One second before he did, though, he noticed the ice attack, but it was too late, as it hit him directly in the face, freezing half of it and causing him to misfire his attack, firing it into a mountain far away. The attack made him stumble back, releasing its hold he had on Dinara, as he took some steps back. Even though the ice spell was powerful, his burning skin was already melting it away.

However, Alan wasn't done yet.

Still powered by the Limit Burst effect that was empowering his attacks, Alan stopped and placed his hands on his side, as he concentrated energy on his hands, creating an orb of energy.

'I hope this works! Earth-chan, lend me your strength!' Alan though, and the Spirit of his world responded, as he felt his attack growing stronger. 'LIMIT BREAK! SHINKOU HADOKEN!'

He pushed both hands forward, and from it, released a powerful comet of energy, that flew towards the large dragon. It confused Alan, since he was expecting the beam version, not the comet one, but anyway, he was glad he had the energy to do so.

The comet of energy quickly flew towards its objective, the Red Eyes who was still confused by the Ice attack. So, when he saw the energy blast, it was too late, as it hit him right in the face, causing him to tumble back and fall on his back into the ground, causing a small shake in the area.

Everyone was confused…

What the hell just happened?

…Did a Human actually managed to take down a Dragon?

…A Dragon that actually beat a Blue Eyes?

…What the hell was going on?

"Oigan! Despierten, chingada madre!" Alan exclaimed in anger at everyone… but then realized his mistake. "Oh, wait, they don't know Spanish… Wake up, for fucks sake! This is not the time to be afraid! If you don't fight this thing, we will all DIE! And if WE die, the whole world will be conquered! We can't stay here and do nothing! We need to fight!"

This wake some of them up, specially the Masters and Generals of both armies. He was right. This was not the time to be paralyzed in fear. This was the time to fight, and to protect their world!

"Come on!" Alan exclaimed again. "We need to beat the fuck of this giant liza-!"

Suddently, Alan's body felt REALLY heavy, as exhaustion overcame him. The effects of the Limit Burst have ended and now his body was feeling the full effect of all the energy he had used in one go. He immediately hell on his knees and began to pant heavily, his body aching in pain.

'What the-? What the hell is going on?!' He though in confusion.

"Uh, Alan…you overexerted yourself." The voice in his head, the one of Earth-chan, sounded again.

'W-what?'

"You have never used a Limit Burst before…and when you did, you use it to make TWO attacks you normally can't do. And worse yet, you used part of MY energy too. Your body wasn't ready for that burst of energy, and so after the effects were over, your body resented all of it."

'Oh come on! I trained hard with Master David!'

"And that is why you didn't DIE by the stunt you just did! You are still not ready."

'This sucks…'

"I know, I know… also…he is standing up…"

'Wait, what?'

Alan lift his head to look that the Meteor Black Comet Dragon was slowly standing up, shaking his head in confusion…but a quick look at his face, one could see that…he was undamaged.

'What the hell?! Those two super powerful attacks and they did NOTHING?! What the hell is his skin made o… oh, yeah…dragon skin… fuck.'

The dragon stood up and looked around, searching for the origin of that attacks.

And then he saw Alan…

…and he roared in anger.

'Oh mierda…(Oh shit…)' Alan though, as he stood up instinctively, although his body still hurt like hell.

The dragon dashed towards Alan, and he tried to move… but his body ached, and he couldn't move a muscle. Alan noticed the dragon was turning on his own body, ready to hit him with his tail.

And it was a big, flaming tail.

'OH MIERDA!' "ICE SHIELD! REFLECT!" Alan exclaimed, as he crossed his arms, shield in front, and made ANOTHER ice shield over it, while also summoning the hexagonal dome shield around him to try and contain the force of the hit.

It was almost useless…

The big, flaming tail of the Black Dragon hit him like a train, and it immediately shattered the Reflect Shield, hitting the Ice Shield directly, shattering on the impact, and now hitting Alan's new shield and his body. With a powerful swipe, the Red Dragon send the human flying into the air, almost comically sending him spinning while cursing and swearing in Spanish during all the way. Eventually, he fell back to the ground, where his body rolled several times before finally stopping.

It hurts…his whole body hurt. Not only because of the hit, which was extremely powerful, but because of the tiredness he already had after using the Limit Burst. He tried to get up, but his body felt...weird. He didn't felt tired but at the same time his body was acting like he was. His ears ringed in his head, as he couldn't hear anything. He felt sick, and soon he threw up, as he tried to regain his senses.

After a few seconds, he was more calm, and so he checkup his body. Surprisingly…he wasn't as damaged as he thought he would be. He looked at the shield on his left arm, and it was still intact, although his arm felt numb after that impact. He looked at his chest and saw his armor was still ok. It seems both the shield and armor managed to resist the strike, after most of the energy was blocked by the reflect and ice shields. He was glad he accepted that armor, as basic as it was. His body felt numb after the attack, and his legs felt like jelly, and he couldn't stand up.

"Ow…that hurt…" he said, as he slowly tried to rise up. "This armor resisted well. If I was hit directly, I could have some broken bones. At least I am good now…"

"Uh, Alan…"

'Yes, Earth-chan?'

"He is charging fire…"

"WHAT?!"

Alan look up, and he saw that the Black Dragon had its mouth opened…and he was about to release the flames inside it.

"Oh mierda…"

Immediately, the Meteor Black Comet Dragon released a powerful attack, between a flamethrower and beam of fire energy, directly towards Alan. The human tried to stand up and flee… but his legs became rigid, paralyzed because of exhaustion, and he could only kneel. Knowing he wouldn't be able to escape, Alan could only cross his arms, with his shield in front of him, and hopping it will be enough to resist the fire attacks.

However, he didn't had to…

"REFLEGA!"

Suddently, a shield of hexagons formed in front of Alan and blocked the attack, diverting the flamethrower to the sides. When Alan looked up, she saw the backside of a woman…a girl…

…a Dark Magician Girl…

"K-Kristal!" Alan exclaimed as he saw her in front of him.

"Why are you so reckless, Alan!" Exclaimed Kristal, as she was holding her staff forward with her right arm, using every ounce of magical energy in her body to hold the shield in front of her. "Why in Ra's name did you do that?!"

"W-wait, Kristal! Get out of here! You won't be able to resist this!"

And he was right. The attack was continuous, and the flames were extremely intense, as all rocks close to the shield were slowly melting into lava. Kristal poured even more of her energy, but the Reflega Shield was slowly breaking apart. Some flames managed to pass between the fissures in the shield and were licking Kristal's skin, slowly burning her and her clothes, as she yelped in pain.

"Kristal!" Alan exclaimed, trying to stand up, but failing. "Leave, or you will die too!"

"I don't care!" She exclaimed, as she poured more energy in the shield. "I won't let you die."

"Why?"

"…When I saw you charging towards the dragon, that feeling I have when you are in danger increased tenfold, and I entered in panic. I won't let you die… I prefer to die with you!"

"K-Kristal…" Alan expressed, really shocked because of what she said. This beautiful and powerful girl was willing to give her life…for him?

He could almost feel like he was crying.

Even though she said that, Kristal didn't want to die in vain. She wanted to resist this…but it was true: she will not be able to hold for much longer. This dragon is way out of her league, and soon her magic power will run out. The shield was slowly getting smaller, as she compacted her remaining energy in the front. That meant the dome shield was now a frontal one, letting the heat of the flames enter by the sides. She did this to help her concentrate her power in the main flame.

And it did almost nothing, as it was slowly breaking away.

'I can't die here…' Kristal though. 'I…we need to continue being alive. It's not our destiny to die in here! Alan… I … I… I CAN'T die here!'

Suddently, four more Reflega Spells overlapped over Kristal's, empowering it enough to form the dome shield again.

"W-what?" Kristal asked in surprise.

"We can't let out sister AND boyfriend die in here, right?"

Kristal looked to her left, and she saw Kuarzo and Krysopa, both holding their staves forward. Then she looked to her right, and saw Kainita and Karoita, with her staff, and in Karoita's case her cellphone-like magic item, forward. The four sisters were pouring all of their energies into the shield to strengthen it.

"Sisters!" Kristal exclaimed in joy. "You are here!"

"Of course we are!" exclaimed Kuarzo. "We are family! Can't let you die in front of us!"

"She is right!" expressed Kainita, the Silent Magician. "We must help each other in this!"

The Meteor Black Comet Dragon saw this and his eyes flared up, as he increased the power of the flames. It was strong enough that, when they hit the shield, it pushed the 5 girls back.

"It's too strong!" Exclaimed Krysopa. "And it burns!"

"Damn it!" Karoita exclaimed. "So this is the power of a dragon?!"

"Don't give up!" Kainita exclaimed. "We need to protect Alan-kun! Even if it cost our lives!"

"Hey! I don't care THAT much for him like you do!" Karoita exclaimed in anger. At this, Kuarzo smiled smugly.

"Oh? So you mean you NOW care a little for him? What changed?" Asked Kuarzo, causing Karoita to blush a little. "Let me guess… he touched you breasts, right?!"

"W-What?! How did you-?!" asked Karoita in complete surprise.

"I didn't: you just confirmed it." Kuarzo said, smiling mischievously. "Oh my. Falling for him, Karoita neesan?"

"S-shut up! I will never-!"

"Focus, girls!" Exclaimed Kristal, stopping the bantering of her sisters. "We have a large dragon trying to cook us!"

"Yeah!" Exclaimed Krysopa, as she pouted a little. "Let's survive this and then hug Alan-kun later!"

"I will not-!" Karoita exclaimed in anger.

"FOCUS!"

The intense flames were still raging over the shield, and it was reaching its limit again. The Black Dragon increased the power of its attack even more, and slowly was eroding the shield again. Even the 5 sisters with their combined magical power weren't enough for this dragon, and they were slowly reaching their limit.

And then, a blast of dark energy hit the dragon on the face, causing him to cancel his fire attack, giving the girls a chance to recover. The dragon looked to his side to look at what hit him, and he, along with the girls, saw a Dark Magician, with his staff in front, surrounded with energy.

"Alan is right…" Duncan said, as his aura flared up. "This isn't the time to stay paralyzed in fear. This is the time to fight! Even if I won't be able to beat you, I will fight you to give them a chance to win!"

The dark dragon growled in anger, and wanted to attack the magician…when suddently, his legs were slowly being frozen solid, while his arms were chained by some sort of 'cybernetic chains', stopping him from attacking. Then, a blast of green energy hit him in the face again, causing him to fall into the ground. Looking up, he saw other 3 mages around the first one: an Ice Master, a Cybernetic Magician, and a Chaos Command Magician, all of them with their auras flared up.

"You won't fight alone, old friend." Commented Strum, the Chaos Command Magician, as he lifted his hat a little. "We will fight again together, like we did with the Blue Eyes one."

"We lost that one, remember?" Asked Duncan to his friend.

"Yeah, yeah, but now we have other friends, and an army! We can do it, like that human said!"

"It will be a hard battle." Commented Premiara, the Ice Master. "This dragon…is on another level. We will need EVERYONE to face him."

"It's almost like we are facing an Ancient God." Commented Spintas, the Cybernetic Magician. "Even if we are facing him all together…I can't help but be afraid of him."

"I understand." Duncan answered. "And I am afraid too. However, for this world, we NEED to face him!"

"Heh, think one of us can enter the Fire Temple while we keep him occupied?" asked Strum.

"Not really." Said Spintas. "Seems he is very territorial. The moment he sees one is approaching the temple, he will rush and beat the intruder down. Even if we use the trick that the human used with the crystals and portals, that dragon will turn mad and chase after it inside. It's too dangerous."

"Agreed." Commented Premiara, as she charged her aura once more. "We need to beat him, right now!"

The Dragon growled again in anger, and this time, his own aura was flaring up. The ice on his legs began to melt, and the chains holding his arms began to shake.

"Prepare yourselves!" expressed Duncan. "Here he comes!"

With a powerful roar, the dragon broke from his chains and dashed madly at the four mages, that managed to fly away and evade him. Strum, in the air, turned and send several ice shots towards the dragon below him. The ice shots hit him in the back, however, they did nothing, as the skin of the dragon was burning hot. The Red Eyes turned and opened his mouth, shooting a small but powerful orb of dark fire, towards the mage, who immediately lifted a barrier spell to defend himself. The dark blast hit the shield and exploded, sending the mage flying.

The Dragon wanted to chase him, but again, cybernetic chains chained his neck, as another, more powerful blast of ice hit him in the head. He turned to look at Spintas and Premiara, and roared in anger, as he chased them down.

Back with the sisters, the 5 of them saw their masters fighting against the dragon, managing to evade every attack by only a small window of opportunity, and they all began to worry about them.

"Will they be ok?" asked Krysopa with concern.

"I don't know." Said Kainita. "Even our masters will have a hard time against that dragon."

"Then we should help them!" Karoita exclaimed. "Let's fight alongside our masters!"

"No, not you…"

The girls turned back, and saw Alan was already up, a little better now, and with a empty bottle on his left hand, that he tossed it into the ground.

"Alan-kun!" exclaimed Kuarzo, as she rushed towards him. "Don't worry, your girlfriend will heal y-!"

"Don't heal me!" Exclaimed Alan, causing the girls to jump back in surprise. "Heal Dinara! She is our only hope!"

"What?" asked Kuarzo in confusion. "Why?"

"Only Dinara at full health could even hope to face that dragon head on. The rest of us are still way too weak to do so. And to heal someone like Dinara to full health, you will need ALL of your magic energy if you want to heal her quick."

"But…"

"He is right!"

Everyone turned to look at Duncan, who just landed close to them after being send flying by the dragon's burst of energy.

"We need her." Duncan commented. "As a Blue Eyes, Dinara is the only one who could face the Red Eyes head to head, even though she is weaker. If she is completely healed and we attack alongside her, we might stand a chance. Kristal! You and your sisters go and heal her. You have enough magic energy after all."

"But Master, what about you?" asked Kristal with concern.

"We will try and keep him busy. You heal her as good as you all can, and then she can attack him."

"But, you will risk your lives!" exclaimed Krysopa in fear. "Y-You can't…"

"We have no choice. Like Alan said: we fight, or we die. And we must not die…"

"We'll come with you, Master."

The group turned to look at their left, and saw the two Skilled Magicians, Steve and Marcus, just landing besides them.

"Fighting a dragon, eh?" Asked Marcus with determination. "Damn, now THIS is something interesting!"

"Yeah…I just hope we don't die." Said Steve. "I mean, think of all the boobs and butts we will miss if we do!"

"That IS right! Hence why we must NOT die!"

"Perverts." Said the 5 sisters, with Karoita and Kristal being the more angered by them.

"You are one to talk, Kuarzo." Said Steve with annoyance. "You are the same as us, only to guys."

"Yeah, but I DON'T go into poking a guy's butt every time I see one." Said Kuarzo.

"You DO hug Alan with your breasts!"

"Because they are MINE! And I can do with them whatever I want!... Say Steve! Want to feel them up?"

"Fuck off! I don't want your saggy tits on my face!" Exclaimed Steve in anger.

"They are NOT saggy, you idiot!"

"Steve, my man, how could you REFUSE to those?!" asked Marcus in surprise, looking at his friend like he just spoke blasphemy.

"Not interested in this girl's tits." Said Steve.

"You fool! Kuarzo-chan's boobs are perfect!"

"Oh, thanks, Marcus!" Expressed Kuarzo. "Glad you think so."

"Of course, Kuarzo-chan! … say…can I-?"

"No."

And with that, a crestfallen Marcus began to make circles in the sand with his finger, as he gets depressed each second it passed. The girls turned to look at Kuarzo, who just sighed.

"Ok, fine." Kuarzo said. "If you fight well against the dragon, you MIGHT grab them… once."

"Ohhh!" exclaimed Marcus, now completely reinvigorated. "I will, Kuarzo-chan! I will not fail you! Let's go, Steve! Let's fight the dragon head on!"

"H-hey, wait! I'm NOT into this!" Exclaimed Steve, as Marcus grabbed him and pulled him into the battlefield.

The group looked at the two mages running into battle, as some sweat drops appeared in the group's heads.

"Well, you gave him motivation, sis." Said Karoita, as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Yeah, I know…" Kuarzo said, laughing nervously. "I…just hope he doesn't die because of it."

"Don't worry about it. His pervertness will keep his senses aware. He WILL survive, only to grope your breasts. Hope you are ready."

"Meh, one grope will not hurt, I guess."

"Right…"

"Anyway." Kristal said, as she was blushing a little because of all this conversation. She turned to Duncan, who was looking at the situation. "Think you will win, Master?"

"Even if all of us unite… I don't think so." Said Duncan. "He is really powerful. That is why we need the help of Dinara. Kristal, I will leave her in your care."

With that said, Duncan flew away, as he returned to battle.

Meanwhile, with the dragon, he was still fighting against the 3 other mages, and was gaining some ground against them, even if they were Masters.

The Meteor Black Comet Dragon chased against the mages, who prepare to evade once again, except one: Spintas, the Cybernetic Magician, had an orb of energy in his hands.

"SPELLBINDING CIRCLE!"

The Mage released the spell that can normally trap any monster inside. It was the same spell that the Crystal Team was practicing in case they meet against another Blue Eyes, and it worked on Dinara. Master Spintas though that, since he was a Master level, his spell will work better on this dragon.

However, reality was completely different.

The spell hit the Evolved Red Eyes Dragon, and a magic circle formed around his body, immobilizing him…

…for three seconds, before his aura flared up and he destroyed the spell.

"What?!" Asked Spintas in surprise, before he had to raise a Reflega shield to block a claw swipe from his enemy.

However, the claws of the dragon were too strong, and they managed to break the shield with relatively ease, slapping the mage into the ground.

"Spintas!" Exclaimed Strum with anger. "Damn it! Even a Sealed spell doesn't work on him?!"

"How much powerful can this dragon be?" asked Premiara, looking at the powerful dragon roar.

Spintas, on the ground, tried to recover. His body was hurt, although it wasn't anything to worry about. However, it was enough, as the dragon was looming over him, with no chance to escape. The dragon opened his mouth and charged an attack, to shot directly into the mage, planning to burning him alive.

Suddently, the dragon got hit several times by small projectiles, like arrows of light, on his left side. It actually hurt, as it pissed him off, so he turned to look at his left, from the direction where the attack came from, and he saw… Warriors…

…all of them in line, and all of them with a bow in their hands.

"The human is right!" exclaimed Freed, in front of his army. "We have to fight to save our world, no matter the consequences!"

"Prepare enchanted arrows!" Exclaimed Reinhard, the Marauder Captain, as the whole army brought an arrow each. The tip of the arrows was not made of iron, but of a strange mineral, that glowed green. "AIM!" he exclaimed, as everyone took aim with their arrows. "FIRE!"

Everyone in the army released the arrows, as hundreds of them flew across the air. The dragon looked at these arrows, enchanted arrows, and knew they were powerful, as many of them managed to harm him. He then released a powerful roar, and created a shockwave in front of him. This shockwave hit the flying arrows, deflecting them from their course, landing all of the ground. The dragon roared again, as he began to fly over them, a place where their arrows will not reach.

"Damn it! He is out of our reach!" exclaimed Reinhard in anger.

"Then…we have no option." Said Chisato, as he looked at the dragon. "We have to do it."

"Agreed, friend. We have to…fight him face to face." Said Freed, as he turned back. "Mages! If you may!"

Then, the spellcasters appeared behind them, each one behind each soldier, and placed a hand on their backs, and a spell in their own hands.

"GLIDE! HASTEGA!"

All of the Warriors began to glow, as they slowly began to float in the air, and their speed increased.

"We are ready." Said Freed, as he pulled out his sword. "Let's go, my brothers! For our world!"

"FOR OUR WORLD!"

And so, the Warriors and the Spellcasters fly towards the dragon in the air, with their weapons ready to continue the fight. The Dragon, seeing he doesn't have the advantage of the sky, faced them, sending several burst of fire towards them. The army of Warriors and Spellcasters dispersed like a cloud and began attacking in all directions, trying to cause harm in the creature…without being able to.

Meanwhile, below, Vianto, the Elemental Hero Avian, looked up into the sky, at the fight against the dragon. He was still ok, although tired of all the fighting. Still, his heart burned with determination.

"That human…" he said to himself. "He really talks like a hero."

"Indeed." Said Bruno, the Elemental Hero Bubbleman, with half of his clothes broken. "His actions and speech fired up the whole army."

"Any of us could have made a speech like that…but we were scared. Scared of the mighty dragon."

"It's in our nature…"

Vianto and Bruno looked up and saw another of their kind, Elemental Hero Sparkman, landing close to them. His clothes were also damaged, but not that much.

"We Spirituels fear the dragons with all of our soul. It was normal for us to be paralyzed with fear. But the human didn't had that, so he managed to overcome it easier than us."

"Jay, are you ok?" asked Vianto.

"I am. I can keep on fighting." Said the Sparkman hero, his face still hidden behind his helmet. "But this…there is no chance we can win against this alone."

"We are not alone." Said Bruno. "We will fight…together."

"Exactly." Said Vianto, as he smiled. "For a future for our people, we must. Ready, gentlemen?"

"We are ready, sir!" Exclaimed both Jay and Bruno, and both placed a hand on Vianto's shoulders.

"Formation: Tempest! FUSION!"

The aura of the three heroes ignited, and then covered them into a brilliant white light. They were lost inside the light…but when the light receded, there were not 3 warriors…

…but one…

"Fusion complete!" Exclaimed the one hero, with the voices of the three. "Viabray, the Elemental Hero Tempest, ready to battle!"

His aura ignited as he began to float. He looked into the skies, and towards the dragon.

"For a future…for our people." Expressed the Elemental Hero Tempest, as he quickly flew into battle, immediately punching the dragon in the face, who then faced this new treat seriously.

As the battle raged on, the 5 sisters and Alan looked up, seeing the battle and how everyone has joined on it against the dragon. Alan then looked at his hands, as he clenched them with determination.

"I need to go and help them too." Alan said, as he began walking towards the battle, causing several of the girls to look at him in surprise.

"Wait, Alan!" exclaimed Kristal in fear. "What are you doing? You are not healed yet!"

"It's ok, I already had a Hi-Potion." Alan answered, as he looked up. "Everyone is fighting… I can't stay and do nothing!"

"But Alan-kun! You are hurt!" Exclaimed Krysopa, as she hugged him from behind. "Don't go! I don't want you to die too!"

Alan smiled at the girl hugging him, and while he appreciates it, he FELT he needed to fight.

"Don't worry, Krysopa." Alan said, as he gave the green haired girl some headpats. "I don't plan to die in here. I can't…just stay in here and do nothing. I need to go!"

"Then I will go with you." Said Karoita. "My Healing spells suck, so I am better if I go with you."

"I appreciate it." Alan said, smiling at the GaGaGa girl, causing her to smile a little. Alan then turned to look at the other sisters. "Kristal, Kuarzo, Krysopa and Kainita. Dinara needs to be healed so we can have a chance. Once she is completely healed, rush immediately into battle with us. Karoita and I will try and distract him, along with the rest of the army."

"Geez, Alan-kun. Since when did you become so confident that you now give orders?" asked Kuarzo, smiling a little. "Because I AM liking this more confident version of you."

"I don't know. I suppose I needed a little push."

"You are going to be ok?" asked Kristal with concern, not sure if she should let him go. "Even though you drank a potion, you are still hurt. Why do you want to fight in that shape?"

"That is easy." Alan said, as he turns his back on them, and looked at the dragon, as he remembered to all of those anime characters that have motivated him in his life, and thinking of what they would do in this situation, knowing full well what they would do. "…because that is what heroes do."

Close by, the Silent Paladin Iridia, who was still paralyzed with fear because of the presence of the Red Eyes, heard this and looked at the human in surprise. She then lowered her head and shook, this time in anger.

…an anger at herself.

…how could it be that a weak and cowardly human had this much courage to fight a freaking dragon, when she herself could barely stand? Why wasn't SHE the one who charged forward, when she was so proud of her strength? And she called herself a hero?

…what would her father think of her?

"Karoita and I will go first." Said Alan, turning to look at the sisters. "Don't worry, I'm sure she will be able to keep me in check and not do anything crazy."

"You can bet the hell out of it, human!" exclaimed Karoita in anger. "I don't want my sisters to cry because something happened to you. I will have to cover your ass!"

"Hehe, my ass is all yours." Alan cheekily responded, causing Karoita to blush hard, before hitting him in the head with her fist. "Ow!"

"B-Baka! Not like that!"

"Ok, ok! Geezz! It was only a joke!" Alan responded, holding his head in pain. After a few seconds, he was now seriously looking at the rest of the girls. "Anyway, we're off!"

"Leave Dinara to us, Alan." Said Kristal, smiling at him. "We will heal her in no time!"

"Yeah! And then we will come and rescue you!" Krysopa exclaimed cheerfully.

"I leave her in your care." Alan said, before turning to look at Karoita. "Ready?"

"Way ahead of you." Karoita said, smiling a little. "Let's go!"

And with that, both Karoita and Alan dashed towards the battle, as they went to help the Masters and other warriors, while the 4 sisters went towards Dinara. The fallen dragon was very bruised up, with some burnt marks on her body, and blood pouring from her mouth. She was conscious, but barely, when she heard someone getting close to her.

"Dinara!" exclaimed Kristal, as she and her 3 sisters approached her. "Are you ok?"

"B-barely…" Answered the dragon girl, as she opened her eyes and looked at the mages. "W-where is…Master Alan?"

"Alan-kun is ok…for now." Said Kainita, as she smiled at the dragon. "Stay calm, we will heal you."

"I…I need to help…Master Alan…" Dinara said, as she tried to stand up, but failed, and fell to the ground again.

"Woa! Easy, girl!" Exclaimed Kuarzo, as she tried to calm down her friend. "You need to be healed first! THEN we can go and save Alan-kun!"

"She is right." Kristal expressed, as she placed a hand on Dinara's head. "Once we heal you, we will go and help our friends…Alan included."

"…o-ok…" Dinara said, as she relaxed a little. "Please…"

"Let's do this!" Exclaimed Krysopa, as she placed a hand on Dinara's head too.

Kuarzo and Kainita did the same, and then, the 4 magician girls began to use all of their energy into a Curaga spell, as they slowly healed Dinara.

She was their last hope.

Author Notes:

AND DONE!

Well then...what did you think?

The Meteor Black Comet Dragon is a POWERFUL dragon, more than the typical Blue Eyes. He can overpower EVERYONE in the group, and only Alan with the Egyptian God Osiris could do something but...the treat of Reed using it is stopping Alan from summoning him.

...

So this is what a Cold War is, eh? :V

Anyway, why is Alan the first one to act when the rest of heroes did not? Well, like I tried to show in the fic itself, it's because Alan is Human. Spirituels have an ingrained FEAR against the Dragon type, specially the powerful ones, so they are paralyzed in fear. It's like a phobia against snakes or spiders or against height. Humans, on the contrary, are NOT that scared against Dragons. Sure, if a Dragon appears and start destroying the city, one would fear it, but Humans will act faster, either fleeing, or hiding, of fighting. So practically, Alan overcame his fear faster than the Spirituels in this case.

And so, the battle begins. All vs 1. We have Warriors, Mages, Fusioned Heroes and a Blue Eyes. Cant they defeat the evolved Red Eyes?

Anyway, I hope you all liked it. See ya next time in 2 weeks!

See ya!
