Ara stood by the bed as she watched Chirpy do her thing. The green-haired woman has been keeping a cautious eye on CJ. Mostly because the girl kept a fever. Her temperature kept fluctuating. Every time her fever broke, it only took about a couple of hours for her to get it back.

Not too long ago, Chirpy, with Ara's assistance, was able to give CJ an ice bath. Of course, they had to fight a bit to put the blonde in a tub full of freezing water. By the time they got her in the bath, they looked just as wet. Thankfully, the bath went quickly from there and they were able to place her back in bed.

At the moment, Chirpy was currently placing a cool rag atop the girl's head. It's not like CJ minded. She seemed to be resting at the moment. Chirpy continued this for a few more moments before placing the rag on a deep red nightstand. She sighed before making her way to a chair.

Ara shook her head at this. "...I don't understand. What's wrong with her?" She asked in confusion. She looked over CJ with worry.

Triple G, from his spot on the floor, said, "A broken heart can do many things, Ara." He said with a deep frown.

Ara frowned at that. She took one last look at CJ before sitting on the floor with the rest of the group. "Audrey, you can take a break. She's sleeping." She told the pinkette.

Audrey finished up before nodding. "Okay." She said before pulling out her phone and turning her attention to that.

That's when Uma walked into the room with a bowl of oatmeal. "Here's that bowl of stuff you wanted. Maybe we could get her to eat this?" She said before placing the bowl on the dresser.

Chirpy nodded at that. "Hopefully. Taking all of this medication on liquid alone is not too healthy. She's one to try and throw up everything also." She said, getting comfortable.

Freddie held up a stuffed animal. "I got her a get well soon bear."

JR folded his arms with a smirk. "I got her a get well soon mini freezer."

Uma looked at him with concern. "Why would she need a get well soon mini freezer?"

JR shrugged. "To house all of the get well soon ice cream. Duh." He said as If it was obvious. He opened the fridge, displaying all of the ice cream inside.

George blinked before saying, "I have bought a humidifier." He said, setting the box on the floor before cracking it open. He moved swiftly as he began to set it up.

Triple G blinked at that. "Oh...I feel lame. I just got her a balloon." He said, growing a slight frown.

Freddie shook her head at that. "Don't worry about it, G. Every gift counts." She said, setting a wrapped paddleball set on the dresser.

Chester and Deuce made themselves useful by sprucing up the room. They picked up things, took care of all of the used tissues, kept things in order, disinfected things, and even used their furry bodies as dusters.

They were doing their usual cleaning work when both of their ears stood erect. Their ears rotated to the source of the sound.

Deuce blinked before saying, "Uhh...I think someone's coming…" He raised an eyebrow.

Ara blinked before tilting her head. "What makes you think that?"

"I swear to gods that I will light both of your asses on fire if you just leave me in there!" A person yelled at the top of their lungs before letting out a groan as the sound of a loud slap echoed after.

"...I felt that." Another voice said as they appeared to get close to the door. "Hold on...give me a-there!" Hazel said as she used her magic to open the door.

The group looked at them quizzically. No one blinked at this time.

Freddie looked at them blankly. "Uhhh…."

Hazel said, stepping into the room. "Excuse me. Coming through. Got some large flammable cargo." She said with amusement.

"Oh shut the hell-" Before Heidi could finish her angered response, Frigg reached over and slapped her hard against the cheek, leaving a bright red handprint on the woman's cheek. "Gee...thanks." She finished with a twitch of her eyebrow as her eyes burned with ire.

Chirpy stared at the scene blankly. She immediately held up a cold ice pack.

Due to all of the sudden noise, CJ began to stir. She coughed multiple times before her eyes opened, scanning the room for whoever could be making that much noise. When she saw Heidi, however, she completely froze.

Hazel cleared her throat before saying, "Alright, everyone. I hate to cut this meeting short, but these two need space. To the main living room with everyone!" Hazel said, smiling when everyone began to clear out of the room. "Mumoo, you can do you. I'm going to be with my friends." She said as she assisted Chirpy wheel Audrey.

Frigg nodded at that as she stayed standing while sitting Heidi on the ground. She held her hands on the woman's shoulders to keep her from attempting to escape and glanced back at Hazel before she left. "I'll make sure she doesn't get out of hand."

Hazel sent a thumbs up before heading out of the room. That left them with a very awake CJ. She laid on her bed, frozen still. She stared silently and it was obvious that she was frightened. However, all she did was continue to stare.

Between the puffy red eyes, multiple slap marks, and paths from where her mascara must have run, Heidi looked no better. The somewhat disgruntled goddess was scowling and continuing to struggle before she was forced down by Frigg. At that, Heidi's eyes met CJ's for a moment before she looked away with a noticeable tremble.

Frigg frowned and, just to possibly shake the goddess from her current state, slapped her across the head and cleared her throat. "Talk." She said, stressing the single word with furrowed eyebrows.

Heidi was silent for around five minutes before she took a breath and shifted a bit so she was comfortable. Biting her lip, she looked up and met the girl's gaze. "I'm sorry, CJ. I'm so sorry." She said, sounding genuinely guilty as she closed one eye and turned her head away.

CJ stared for a minute longer before relaxing as she sighed through her nose. She closed her heavy eyes. "...I'm sorry too." She said in a broken voice.

"Don't be...I'm the bad one here." Heidi said with averted eyes. "I...did this."

"Don't take all of the blame...when it's not all yours to take," CJ replied, attempting to clear her throat.

"I went bad cop when I shouldn't have...I think most of it is me." Heidi said with a humorless chuckle. "You can't say it wasn't when I triggered this."

"If I would have listened, I wouldn't be here." The blonde answered simply.

"CJ...I am taking blame for this because...I did this. I am causing trouble and pain just because of all this crap and…" Heidi sighed and shook her head. "The longer I stay...the more I probably hurt you."

"No," CJ said with a shake of her head. "I'll leave. You need to be here." She said, her voice faltering again.

"CJ...you're not the one who is leaving. If anything...I'm leaving. This is your home where you belong and mine is in my world." Heidi said with a soft sigh. "I'm not going to stay if it means you leave."

CJ took a moment before saying, "Then neither of us are leaving, then. You need to be here. You need my friends. They need to fight for you. You guys need that bond. How can you grow a bond when you're far away?" She said before breaking into a small coughing fit.

"I…" Heidi paused and let out a breath before swallowing. "...It's too much I'm asking...It would take a miracle for her to agree and...miracles don't happen for people like me." She said with a shaky shrug.

Instead of questioning Heidi's response, CJ opened her eyes and looked at Heidi quizzically.

Heidi shook her head and lowered her eyes. "I'm just one person...I'm not that special and definitely not deserving of destroying a bunch of things and ruining countless other things just because I don't wanna go back." She said with a frown. "I...am not that important for something like that to be done for me."

"You're joking...right?" CJ asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Set me up against heroes and more would be done for them versus me. I don't have anything to my name to make me important enough to change all...that." Heidi said while gesturing her head a bit.

"Who cares about all that," CJ said bluntly before adjusting the slightest. "Being a hero is not about that. Being a hero is being there when someone needs you. Being willing to risk your life for others." She closed her eyes and relaxed. "I guess that would make you a legend. You're going up against the world."

"It's different in the eyes of beings like my Uncle Poseidon or even Ama. They may care a lot and want to help you...but there are others who would object and not agree. Mainly because the...resume is impressive enough, so to speak. Ama would have to go through every hurdle and through countless other beings if she did want I what...and it would take a miracle for her to do that for me." Heidi said while shaking her head. "At the moment...I have nothing on my resume to say that I'm worthy of this."

CJ shrugged before saying, "Hazel used to tell me that life is like a box of chocolates. She really likes chocolate." She took a sharp breath with a wince before saying, "You'll never know what you'll get. Some chocolates, you'll like and others you won't. You have to work with...what you've got." She took a breath before saying, "Don't give up just yet. Giving up is for losers and you definitely don't want that on your resume."

"I already have enough bad marks on there...I wasn't the perfect kid in Hell or on the Isle. Gods are stubborn and will hold you for anything…" Heidi said with a deep sigh as she closed her eyes and fell on her side.

"That's where faith comes in," CJ replied, covering herself up more.

"Being the daughter of two evil people dropped my good person points down to negative. It was bad enough when it was just Hades...now with my mother added to the mix...oh I must look like the demon spawn or something." Heidi said with a quiet chuckle. "I doubt that all the faith in the world would make this work out."

CJ sighed in slight irritation before opening her tired eyes. "Can't someone like...vouch for you, or something?"

"Not really. The only credible gods are friends with my dad and that makes them bad apparently. Ama's vote can only go so far...and that's about it on the list of people who can vouch." Heidi said with a shrug as she got comfier in her blanket cocoon.

CJ, all of a sudden, decided to sit up. She dizzily looked around before her eyes landed on her tea. It was across the room on a table. She carefully made her way out of the bed, walking slowly to get her cup. "Worrying is not...helping." She leaned on something as she reached for her cup.

"Worrying is the only thing I can do at this point," Heidi said as she shook her head.

"Well do nothing then," CJ said plainly before finally grabbing her cup and heading back to her bed. She sat back in her bed and immediately began to work on her tea.

"I...just can't do nothing when there is so much to worry about. I have to worry about the entire crap with my world, what's going to happen after, not to mention Audrey and her quality of life, then there is you and this and-UGH!" She groaned loudly and rolled onto her stomach so her face was buried in the floor. "I just can't." She said, her voice muffled by the floor as she visibly trembled a bit.

CJ placed the now empty cup on her nightstand. "To help you out some. One of those problems isn't yours. I am my own problem." She laid back down. "Besides, I'm fine." She said with a shrug.

Heidi shook her head. "No. You...you are one of my...things I worry about." She said as she chose her words carefully. "And no to that last part as well." She added on as she squirmed a bit to get comfy.

CJ tilted her head at that. "You don't need to do that. It's just a cold. I mean, we apologized so, it's all good." She said while laying her head back down.

Heidi grunted as she got a bit stuck. "Yes, no and no." She said to each statement before glaring at Frigg who was amused at her predicament.

CJ looked puzzled at that. "What...do you mean?" She looked at the wrapped bluenette.

"Yes I do need to worry because it is something important, no it isn't a cold, and no I have a feeling things aren't good...more like put on pause and left on pause for a long time," Heidi said, smirking as she almost sat up but groaning as she immediately flopped on her side.

CJ sighed at that, blowing one of her messy strands out of her vision. "Why would you care about any of that?" She said in a lazy manner. "Before yesterday, we literally only had two conversations and one was an actual conversation. We're barely friends. You don't have to pretend to like me, you know." She said, closing her eyes again.

"I care because the stupid half dead organ under my left breast called the heart aches when I try to ignore the worry," Heidi said, not bothering to filter her explanation one bit. "This thing that is usually dead is all upset and worried and I dunno why the hell it is!" Heidi said, her comment turning into a complaint as she caught eye of her blanket caught on something, thus rendering her stuck on her side.

CJ blinked at that with confusion. "...You mean you...are concerned for me. Why? This isn't that bad."

"I don't know why-I've just been making a hot mess of myself for hours, hence the mascara incident, since all that bad cop went down," Heidi said with furrowed eyebrows as she tried to wiggle her way free.

"Did I...make you upset?" CJ asked, looking to the side.

Heidi paused and tried to make her face seem completely neutral as she shrugged before she was caught off guard by a slap from Frigg. "Okay-okay! Yes." Heidi admitted with a deep sigh as she continued to struggle.

"...Oh," CJ said before swallowing, soothing her burning throat and burying her face under her blanket a bit.

"I don't know why I was upset but I was and it went on longer than I would like to admit." Heidi said as she gave up for a moment. "The makeup gives it away, though."

CJ took a moment before asking, "What made you the most upset?" She asked, referring to their spat.

Heidi was silent for a bit before finally clearing her throat as Frigg nudged her with her foot. "The uh...um...part where one of us had to leave no matter what." She said, stopping and going quiet before Frigg reached and whacked her again. "I hate you sometimes." She said sourly to the Norse woman before grumbling. "And the part where...I wasn't the...you know what...of you." She said slowly with an awkward look on her face before she managed to roll on her stomach so she could hide her face.

CJ lifted the blanket just the slightest. She looked down before asking, "...Why would you care any about all that? You're a goddess. I'm a human. You could do whatever you want-I mean…" She asked, softly. "And...we both know the truth so…" She said, referring to the second part.

"I...am not like most gods...I am like cousin Hermes when it comes to humans. We like them better…" Heidi said with a small shrug. "No reason to sit on a throne and look down when you could be down with them. And the...other thing-I don't know. I am not the mother of anyone and the child I had isn't mine. She's...his and will be his. I'm not going to be the villain and wander back in after so long like my mother did to me. So...I don't know why it hurt me." She finished with a sigh.

CJ frowned at that. "...I'm sorry." She said in a small voice.

"For what? You have nothing to apologize for…" Heidi mumbled with a hint of confusion.

CJ sighed at that. "Ever since this happened, I've been treating you unfairly. I...I remember my mother. She didn't stick around so, I...felt abandoned. It-it was wrong to put you in the same category." She said with a sniff as she rubbed at her nose.

"It's okay, CJ. My father didn't...exactly make me look like the ideal parent with what he did. There's no changing it. I realized the hatred and anger I felt for my mother when she called me daughter...after knowing she heartlessly abandoned me...I didn't want to make another feel that way." Heidi explained softly. "It's...cruel."

CJ played with her blanket. "And I didn't want to get hurt again…and I lashed out on you in a fit of rage that was not meant for you. So, it's not okay." She shook her head as a few tears escaped.

"A lot of people do that to me...I'm just the perfect target so to speak. It...it just surprised me a bit since I...I never did anything remotely like that." Heidi said with a shake of her head. "But it is okay, CJ. You didn't mean it...and that is...uncommon for me. Yelling-wise that is." She said, going off-topic just a bit as she tried to get into a different position again.

"But...I'm the reason you look like that." CJ said, referring to Heidi's make-up.

"Usually I'm singed afterwords so...the makeup is a nice change of pace. The way it got this messy was long and...I don't know how I cried that long." Heidi said with a bit of confusion.

CJ nodded at that with a frown as she wiped at her eyes. "I didn't know it would hurt you that much. I don't know...how I feel when it comes to you, actually." She said, shaking her head.

"If this stupid dead heart didn't say otherwise...I'd agree." Heidi said as she failed to get back on her back and faceplanted again.

"Oh?" CJ asked with curiosity, but also with a bit of fear. "How do you...uh...feel about me?" She moved her blanket out of her line of sight.

Heidi was nudged again after she went silent before she cleared her throat. "Ah...uh...I'm...I don't know. It's just a weird feeling that I don't understand because I'm bad at this. I feel like Hestia with that cat...mushy." She said, sounding as though she was pouting by the end. "Mushy and wanting to protect...or something like that."

CJ blinked at that in surprise before she shook her head. She looked at Heidi skeptically. "Those are the things that parents want. You...want to be my…" She pointed to herself.

Heidi, who was still faceplanted, paused. "I-well-I don't-" Frigg shut up the goddess with a kick, prompting Heidi to flail in irritation a bit. "I'm bad at feelings talk!" She said with a huff, giving Frigg the stink eye. "I guess-maybe-so yes...or uh." She said as she continued to stumble over her words while Frigg's eyes halved at her.

CJ pursed her lips as she trembled a bit. "I-I-I don't know if I could trust you. You're not lying to me...a-are you?" She said, sitting up, ignoring her body's protests.

"If I'm lying...One of the thunder gods can smite me." Heidi said before pausing as though she were waiting for said lightning bolt as Frigg facepalmed.

CJ took a moment to stare for a moment. She stared silently for a whole minute before jumping and adjusting in her bed. At this point, she didn't care what her body said. She rolled out of bed lazily and crawled all the way to where Heidi was struggling. After that, she helped the swaddled woman up to give her a tight embrace.

Heidi blinked in surprise and took a moment before she smiled softly and hugged back as well as she could with only her head out.

CJ sniffed before sobbing a bit as she said this, "...Thank you." She parted a bit, revealing the golden flecks contrasting with her dark brown eyes.

Heidi nodded and smiled back. "You're welcome." She said softly, taking note of the golden flecks but not deciding to ask.

CJ wiped at her face, not noticing her eyes at all before sniffing. "I'm gonna get back in the bed now. I feel like we're okay...really okay now." She said with a smile.

Heidi chuckled softly. "And I am...probably still going to be stuck since Frigg just ran out of the room." She said, gesturing to the suddenly empty spot where Frigg was once sitting.

CJ looked around for the other goddess before blinking. "Huh...I guess she did leave. You wanna lay on my bed? It's better than the floor and I can find a way to crawl both of us over there." She said with a chuckle.

"Yeah...otherwise somebody will trip over me or fall on me. The blanket is humiliating enough." Heidi said as her eyes halved at the end.

CJ looked over Heidi before rubbing her chin. "This looks like Hazel's work. She pranked the boys with this a while back. It's virtually impossible to escape from." She shook her head. "I'll call her and tell her to untie you." She said before rolling Heidi towards the bed.

"Maybe I can just trick myself to fall asleep so I won't have to see the grin I know she'll have." Heidi deadpanned with a sigh.

CJ smiled at that before struggling but lifting Heidi into the bed. Afterward, she pushed Heidi over while she laid down. "Yeah. I can see it now." She laughed a bit, sounding more like a cough.

"I'm just going to choose the hour nap over seeing her face. Feel free to join me...At least before the talk about her being right starts." Heidi said with a shrug as she closed her eyes.

CJ nodded at that with a stretch. "I think I'll take you up on that offer." She said, closing her tired eyes. However, she decided to savor this moment and scoot closer to Heidi, embracing her as if she was a teddy bear.

All of a sudden, there was the sound of rushing footprints heard from outside. An eager Hazel burst through the door with a, "See!? I was ri-uhh…" She trailed off at the current scene, suddenly being quieter. "Okay...that's adorable." She said with a smile. "Uh, Mumoo, guys, over here...quickly."

The group rushed past Hazel in defense mode. Triple G ran in with a fire extinguisher while George ran in with the hose. Of course, they all froze at the intact room and the two sleeping together.

Triple G raised an eyebrow, relaxing. "Hmm...this is not what I expected, but that's a good thing." He said with a chuckle.

JR smiled at that. "I'm glad they worked things out."

Freddie sighed at that. "Same. It's a problem when I start getting stressed." She shook her head.

Chirpy and Audrey finally made it to the room. The green-haired woman looked inside cautiously before gasping at the scene. "That is just the sweetest...Audrey look." Chirpy said, clearly melting.

Audrey reacted in practically the same manner as she quietly 'awwed' at the scene. "Aww...That is...so...cute." She said with a wide smile.

Ara blinked at this with a raised eyebrow. "No fire?"

Chester shook his head as he looked at the scene with dilated pupils and hat in hand. "Nope, no fire."

"No holes in the wall?" Ara asked, checking the walls of any furniture for damages.

When she found none, she said, "Nothing? Not even any yelling? Who are they and what have they done with Heidi and CJ?!" Ara protested before Triple G grabbed her arms and began to drag her off. "What are you doing!? Let-me...investigate!" She said in a huff while everyone began to leave the room.

"You need a nap, sis." Triple G said with amusement.

"No, I don't! Stop it!" Ara said as they finally were at a distance from the room.

That allowed CJ and Heidi to rest peacefully.

"Am I the only one that finds this a tiny bit suspicious!?" Ara began as she looked at everyone else who was around.

Most of them looked back at her in plain confusion. They just blinked at her cluelessly.

Ara heavily sighed before saying, "So, I'm the only one, then?" She asked in a huff.

Chester blinked before speaking up. "Might I ask, what are you upset about, exactly?" He asked in concern.

Ara replied by saying, "Heidi and CJ's talk of course." She said as if it was obvious.

Triple G tilted his head. "...What about it?"

Chirpy timidly spoke up. "Yes. I thought it turned out...pretty well?" She smiled a little.

Ara nodded at that before pacing. "Yes, it went well...IT WENT TOO WELL!" She exclaimed without warning.

The group jumped at that with startled and surprised expressions.

Ara continued, "I mean...there is no way this should have went this smoothly!" She continued to pace. "Where was the fire? Where was the violence? Where was that super annoying stubbornness we constantly put up with!?" She continued her rant.

While Hazel looked at her sister blankly, Freddie said, "Oh, come on, Ara. Chill out and take an easy win." She placed her hand on her hips. "This is a good thing. The faster they solve their problems, the faster CJ recovers."

Ara tapped her foot on the ground. "But nothing has ever been easy with those two. Then, the one time you put them together, it's peaceful! Not likely! I'm not falling for it!" She exclaimed as she continued to pace.

Triple G raised his hand. "But Ara-"

"Nope!" She interrupted.

Triple G looked at her with annoyance. "But I'm just trying to tell you that-"

"Wrong!" Ara interrupted again.

"But there's no need to be-" Triple G tried to finish his sentence quicker.

"Always be suspicious!" Ara said out of the blue.

Triple G looked more than exasperated at this and gave up on trying to speak.

Freddie shook her head, "But, Ara-"

"Suspicion!" Ara exclaimed, appearing behind Freddie much to the woman's surprise. She looked at Ara with a horrified expression.

Hazel looked at Ara with complete concern. "Ara, I am sure that absolutely nothing is out of the ordinary. I am thinking that It's time for your nap." She said with a shake of her head.

Ara blinked at that before shaking her head. "Nap!? Who can take a nap when there is so much to find out! For example. What if they did fight, but hide all of the damage. They could have also used magic to fix it, knowing that I'd run in there looking for damages! I knew it! They're playing me like a fiddle..." She said, glancing around with squinted eyes.

Hazel blinked at that. "Oh...it's totally time for her nap." She watched her sibling pace back and forth blankly.

JR had a similar expression as he watched the ranting woman. "Ya think?" He looked at Hazel in a deadpan before turning his attention back to Ara.

Ara clapped her hands together. "That's it! They're obviously hiding the truth! There was a fight, but CJ's walls are padded. That means we couldn't hear it!" She said with a smirk before yawning. "They also covered up the evidence with...whatever they covered it with! Then, they want to sleep together all nice and snug so we'd never suspect a thing! Well, ha! I'm plenty suspicious! You hear me!? I. Am. SUSPICIOUS!"

That was before Ara turned around to continue her pacing. Thankfully, her rant was cut short when she saw a very exasperated looking Susanoo in the doorway. "Uhhh…" She said before taking out in the direction of the other exit.

Susanoo shook his head with halved eyes before taking off after her.

All everyone heard from Ara was, "GAH! NOOO! YOU CAN'T MAKE MEEE!"

"...Stop being dramatic." Susanoo deadpanned as they got further away.

"You can't do this!" Ara said as if it was a serious matter. "AVENGEEEE MEEE!" She shouted as her voice kept getting farther away.

Hazel blinked once more. "She's overdue."

Deuce responded in a similar fashion. "Oh yeah."

Triple G stared. "Big time."

After a couple of hours of rest, CJ slowly woke up. It took her a moment to become fully awake, but after that, she was good to go. It was a pleasant surprise to see that she was still hugging Heidi. CJ blinked at the sleeping bluenette before smiling and releasing her. After that, CJ rolled over and looked around the room.

Soon after, Chirpy walked in. Of course, she was wheeling Audrey. They both entered quietly. Chirpy saw CJ awake and greeted her warmly. "Glad to see you're awake, CJ." She said with a smile.

CJ nodded at that with a small smile. "Hi. Chirpy." Her voice was pretty rough, but at least it was in a better tone.

Chirpy parked Audrey near a table. She said, "Oh, Audrey. Feel free to play something while I check her out." Chirpy said, putting on some gloves.

Audrey nodded at that as she set her book down and picked up her flute.

Chirpy nodded at that before walking over to CJ. "Alright. Relax." Chirpy said before she pulled out a thermometer. "Say, 'ah'." Chirpy said, opening her mouth in the process.

CJ did as she was told and opened her mouth. The cold device entered her mouth for less than a minute. That's how long it took to get results.

Chirpy blinked in surprise. "Huh...no fever yet. That's...good." She said, still in shock. "Let's keep this thing down, shall we?" She said, removing the device from CJ's mouth before taking it to get cleaned.

While Chirpy was doing that, Deuce walked into the room. "Assistant D is reporting for duty!" He said, holding a bowl of fruit salad and walking on his hind legs. "One order of fruit salad for the patient."

CJ blinked at the bowl before growing a small frown.

Deuce placed the bowl on the nightstand. After that, he hopped into the bed. "Alright, CJ. I know you haven't been in the snacking mood, but if you wanna get better you gotta eat something." He said, using both paws to get a firm grip on the bowl. He held it out to her expectantly.

CJ took the bowl. She looked at the bowl dryly before looking at Deuce.

Deuce blinked innocently. "C'mon. For me? I made it out of all of your favorite fruits. Peaches, strawberries, oranges, and bananas...mostly bananas." Deuce said with a smile.

CJ looked at him cautiously. "...I guess." She said before starting to slowly work on the fruits.

Chirpy smiled brightly at that while Deuce puffed up his chest.

Deuce chuckled. "What would you guys do without me?" He folded his arms.

CJ chewed before smirking. "You didn't bring back any water, did you?"

Deuce was caught off guard with that one. He nervously chuckled as he deflated. "Heh, heh...I'll be right back." He jumped off the bed before scurrying out of the room.

CJ shook her head at that before going back to her fruit.

Chirpy turned around with a smile. "Nice one." She complimented the sick girl.

CJ shrugged at that and said, "Eh. You gotta know Deuce to know how to knock down that ego of his. Once you know enough, you're all set." She said with amusement as she continued to eat.

Chirpy nodded at that before saying, "On another note, I'm glad you guys worked things out." She gestured toward her and Heidi.

CJ nodded at that. "Yeah. I guess...I have a new mom now." She said with an awkward expression.

The green-haired woman looked at CJ in interest. "Really?"

"Um, yeah," CJ said, feeling a bit weird...but a good weird.

Chirpy easily melted at that. "Awww. That's so sweet! I'm so happy for you!" She said with a large smile.

CJ smiled nervously before saying, "It's something I'll have to get used to, but I think I'll manage." She said before picking out more of the bananas.

Chirpy nodded at that. "The way you guys are going, you guys will be okay." She said with a smile. "Okay, CJ. You're eating, you have no fever, and you are getting rest. If you keep this up you'll get better in no time."

CJ nodded at that with a smile as she kept eating.

That's before Ara busted in.

"Now I've gotcha!" Ara walked in and placed her hands on her hips.

CJ blinked at that before tilting her head. "...What?"

Ara walked deeper into the room. "I've got ya. I've...caught you awake. You know what I mean!" She pointed a finger at CJ.

CJ blinked at that. "Uh…"

Chirpy looked at Ara with halved eyes before rolling her eyes. "Here we go again."

"I know you've hidden it!" Ara exclaimed as she began to look around the room.

CJ blinked at that, she stopped eating. "Hiding what?"

"The damages!" Ara said as she kept looking.

CJ shook her head at that. "There are no damages. We...actually had a good talk this time." She said as she continued to eat.

Ara froze at that. "...A good talk, eh?"

The blonde looked at the bluenette in concern. "Yes...are you alright?"

Ara turned around with a pout and folded arms. "Me?! I just have one problem. You are trying to play me like a violin! I know you and Heidi fought! I know it!"

CJ shook her head slowly. "No...we didn't…"

Ara growled at that before running towards CJ. "Stop. Lying!" She said, pouncing on the girl.

"Ara! Get off!" CJ said as she struggled with the girl who had latched onto her back.

"Never!" Ara exclaimed, still roughing CJ up.

"I'm not lying!" CJ said, "You are not supposed to horseplay with patients!"

"Then stop lying to me!" Ara responded.

"I'm still not lying!" CJ shouted back with annoyance as Ara pulled at her hair.

Ara continued pulling before saying, "Not. Untill. You. Admit!"

CJ growled at that. "If I did admit, I'd be lying! Do you know why? Because I'm telling the truth!" She said while kicking.

Chirpy was just amazed at the fact that Heidi was still sleeping while this was happening.

The two of them continued to struggle before Ara caught eye of a specific streak of hair. A streak of hair that was clearly blue contrasting with the blonde.

Ara blinked and froze before grasping the strand. She pulled on it twice. As CJ yelped, Ara asked, "What the heck is this?" She said as she looked at the strand in awe.
