We returned back to base Echo was sent to the medical bay. I joined Rex and Anakin in the command center I stood by Obi Wan. Windu walked around the table.

"We have more than a dozen active battlefront on Anaxes, and we are losing nearly every one. But if Admiral Trench can no longer anticipate our moves, we now have the opportunity to retake the planet." Windu said.

"I can improve your chances." Echo said

"Eh, excuse me, Generals." Rex said stepping away to talk to Echo. We watched the two talk.

" if the trooper has a plan I'd like to hear it." Windu said

"May I?" Echo asked Rex stepped aside and Echo stuck his prosthetic into the table. "Well Master Windu leads a team to retake the assembly complex, the bad batch will escort me into Trench's new comm vault, which according to current intel, is now located on this Separatists dreadnought above Anaxes. Once I'm plugged in I can feed Trench strategies, but this time you'll know every move before he makes it." Echo said

"And you are certain that if we get you on board that ship, that you can convince Trench's army to do what you want?" Windu asked

"Absolutely. Unfortunately I've been doing this for a while, but this time I can help bring about a Republic victory instead of a defeat." Echo said.

I stayed with Obi Wan and Windu. As the group took off

"We'll launch an assault on the assembly station. Kenobi and Fett will come from the left I will come from the right and we'll converge on the center." Windu said.

We boarded fighters and made way for the assembly center.Fighters attacked first attacking the heavy cannons. We dropped in through the ceiling.

"My name is General Mace Windu of the Jedi Order. At this point of the Clone War, I have dismantled and destroyed over 100,000 of you type one battle droids. I'm giving you an opportunity to peacefully lay down your weapons so that you may be reprogrammed to serve a better purpose then spreading mindless violence and chaos, which you have inflicted upon the galaxy." Windu said. I chuckled

"Blast them!" A droid shouted.

"Well I guess it was worth a try." Obi wan said the clones descended and opened fire I blasted down droids. I barely deflected a blaster shot.

" We have our hands full as it is. What is your plan?" Windu asked." Obi Wan skywalker just contacted me. He said we've got a lot more droids headed our way."

"I see Anakin is being as insightful as ever." Obi wan said

"I was told not to worry. It was all part of their plan." Windu said

"If I know Anakin we've got the easy part." Obi Wan said. I ducked to avoid a blaster shot to the face and shot the droid down. We destroyed the last of the droids

"Well there weren't as many as I thought there were going to be." Obi wan said. The doors slid open and more droids emerged

"You just had to say that" I said

"Does this meet your expectations?" Windu asked as we were surrounded by droids

" this exceeds my expectations." Obi wan said. Droids dropped all around us caused by an electrical surge. I looked around in confusion.

"I am pleased to report that we are in control of the assembly complex, and all of the front are falling to the republic thanks to Echos plan." Windu said into his comlink. "May the force be with you."

I stood next to Obi Wan as clones continued to search the assembly complex.

"Continue your sweep, Jesse." Obi Wan said.

"Sir." Jesse said before taking off.

"General Windu this is Tech. We've discovered a bomb in the fusion reactor. We need someone to go down there and help disarm it." Techs voice echoed from the comlink

"I'm on my way." Windu said." Get the men out of here"

"You heard General Windu. Organize your platoons and have them evacuated as soon as possible." Obi wan ordered

"Sir, yes, sir!" Victory shouted.

"I want you on transport out of here now." I barked. The gunships descended to the landing platform. We helped the injured onto the ships.

"Mace if you can't stop the detonation you must leave now." Obi wan said

" that is not an option. I still have a chance to stop this even if it's down to my best guess." His voice rang out from the com.

"How about i take the guesswork out of it master?" Anakin said "admiral Trench was kind enough to give me the final number himself. Try seven" I held my breathe.

"Good work skywalker. The bomb has been disarmed." Windu said

"You both owe me one now." Anakin said I chuckled.

"We're leaving now" I barked to the pilot. We took off back to the command center.

" Captain Rex Corporal Echo and Clone force 99, you have all done a great service for the Republic. Thanks to your courage and effort, republic shipyards will soon be up and running again." Windu said

"You've got some medals coming your way." Obi Wan said. I followed the Generals and Cody back to the command center

"How you feeling." I asked Cody.

"Good. Spent the night in a bacta tank." He replied

"You missed a damn good fire fight." I chuckled.

"Of course I did." He chuckled.

I turned to check on Rex and Echo. I sent him a soft smile as he walked towards us well Echo walked to the bad batch. They saluted him. Rex turned back and joined us a sad smile on his face.
