Review Response:
Calderoneric758: At least the reception for this chapter was better than on Sage of Legend's recent chapter. Well, of course I am still making stories. Why, did I seem like I was not writing anymore?
Guest: Thank you, and of course, I'll up the ante when the next bondage lemon happens.
WhoseWho: Yeah, same here.
Guest: I know, it could have been longer. I will get to drawing the girls in ribbons when I can.
Werebeast: Yeah, that is true, werebeasts don't get sick very often. Yeah, I feel like I could have made it longer.
Hyuma: I have been wanting to do stuff with Sona and Saji for a while, so it was the best time since it was Valentine's day weekend. Of course, Naruto will learn Norse Magic.
Dig Saddler: Yeah, too much fighting, hurt my damn brain.
Guest: I know, it did.
Hentailover6969: Thank you for the suggestions.
Guest: I wanted it to be more natural, but it didn't turn out that way, but it matters little. And many people feel like the Lemon could have been longer.
Guest: OH, yes that would be fun.
Guest: Yeah, I actually listen to movies as I write. Helps me with the white noise.

Chapter 56: Roots in Revolution
?...
"Papa!" A young child with red hair shouted upon seeing me come home.
"Kushina." I said as I smiled, arms open as I caught his daughter, spinning around to make her laugh as I hugged her.
"Welcome back, dear."
I looked over and saw my wife.
She had short golden blonde hair topped with her fox ears, amethyst-colored eyes, and wore an elegant kimono, her six golden blonde tails billowing out behind her as she approached me.
I smiled as my heart swelled with happiness as I kissed my wife.
*Knock, knock, knock*
I pulled away and looked around.
"What is it?" My wife asked as she took Kushina from my arms.
*Knock, knock, knock*
I sighed as my eyes watered as I turned to my wife and daughter.
"I am sorry, but I have to go…" I said as I opened my eyes.
*Knock, knock, knock*
"Kurama, are you awake?"
Kurama groaned as he sat up, wiping his eyes of the sleep.
"Yeah, I am up." He said as he removed his blanket, revealing his nude body, the only thing on his body was a simple string necklace that had a teal jewel on it that faintly glowed.
Kurama was a tall, tan man with a mid-muscular form. He had long red-hair, with a small amount of stubble on his chin for a goatee. His fox ears and tails (Which he had Nine of) were the same color as his hair. His eyes were red with slit pupils. His cheeks had three whisker marks a piece.
On the center of his chest was a spiral brand mark, which he gently caressed with his fingers.
'It still burns, after all this time.' He thought as he started to get dressed.
He wore a like yukata, not bothering of brushing or putting his hair up, he exited his room.
"Morning, Kurama." An adult male said holding two cups of coffee.
He was shorter than Kurama, wearing a business suit. He had short brown hair that was parted down the middle and brown eyes with glasses.
"Morning, Nathan." Kurama said as he leaned down and kissed his lover before taking one of the cups. "How did you sleep?"
"I slept very well." Nathan replied as he and Kurama started walking down the hall. "Just had to stay up a bit later than usual doing paperwork, you know, usual stuff."
Kurama pulled Nathan into him and ran his hand through his hair.
"You may eternal youth, Nathan, but you are still human." Kurama said caringly. "So, you need eight hours of sleep."
Nathan blushed and nodded.
"I'll take better care of myself, silly, just focus on yourself." Nathan said as he separated himself from Kurama. "I got to go to work, Kurama, see you when I get back."
"See you when you get back." Kurama replied as he drank more of his coffee, heading towards the mess hall.
As he exited the building, he closed his eyes as the bright sun blinded him.
The smell of salt water and the chilling air nipped his skin as he walked across the long path to get breakfast.
He, along with all who followed him, resided on the back of a gigantic turtle that swam in the large ocean that resided in the Underworld.
'Hm, we need to shorten this path, or make another meal hall closer.' Kurama thought as he entered the mess hall. 'And we should check Genbu over, when was the last time we did that?'
Many of his followers bowed to him, bidding him good morning, to which he smiled and waved at them.
"Master."
"Morning, Matatabi." Kurama said as he patted the Nekomata's head, making her pout.
"Master, I am over two hundred, stop treating me like a child!" She stated with a glare.
Kurama chuckled as he removed his hand.
"No matter what, Mata, you will always be the little kitten I raised." Kurama stated with a proud, fatherly smile.
Matatabi's eyes widened in their glare as her claws elongated.
"Cute." Kurama said nonchalantly to her threat as they grabbed their food and made their way to one of the many tables.
"Master."
"Master."
"Good morning, Master."
"Doffy, Gaara, Orochi." Kurama greeted as he and Matatabi sat down.
Doflamingo, who was covered in bandages, carefully ate his soup, which was due to him needing fluids from the beating Kurama gave him.
Gaara sat with his gourd next to him, eating slowly as he looked around wearily. Since his shoulder bones were nearly ground into powder from Naruto's Finger Pistol: Spiral Bullet, he was more on guard than ever in slight paranoia of being attacked again.
Orochimaru, being unscathed, ate his breakfast while reading the local newspaper.
"Seems our actions have made the news." Orochimaru stated with a smirk as he put the paper on the table and shifted it towards Doflamingo and Kurama.
"Hm." Kurama hummed as he took the paper to read it. "The factions are getting restless now. Not that we didn't expect it to happen, but it could have been a bit better."
Doflamingo nodded, since he could barely talk with a mouth full of soup.
"When will we strike next, Master?" Gaara asked as his tail swayed in anticipation.
Kurama took a few seconds to think before he folded the paper.
"We won't attack for now, let them get paranoid, stew in it a bit, and then we will strike when it is at its worse." Kurama stated as he looked at Gaara. "Don't worry, Gaara, you will be fine."
Gaara looked at Kurama and visibly relaxed and calmed down.
"Aren't you worried, Master?" Matatabi asked with concern as she took the paper and looked through it. "I mean, the Union of Monsters are pretty strict when it comes to werebeasts awakening, well, ones who aren't under their thumbs. They could go after your grandson again."
Kurama's ears went up as his eyes widened.
'Hm, she makes a good point.' He thought as he continued to eat. "If they do anything to Naruto, we will stop them, and bring him here to train him, properly this time."
He glared at Doflamingo and Orochimaru.
Said individuals felt his eyes on them and felt fear creep into their souls.
Why would it not when they failed their mission to retrieve Naruto for the second time.
"By the way, Master," Orochimaru stated. "The Science Division was able to complete the next batch that you requested and are ready to be used at your leisure."
Kurama lightened his glare.
"Thank you for your hard work, Orochimaru." Kurama thanked sincerely.
"It was hard, but we have made modifications, so they should last longer after their… purpose, Master." Orochimaru informed him.
"That's is good news, Orochimaru." Kurama said with a bright smile.
After breakfast, Kurama walked with Matatabi and Gaara to the training ground.
"Today, we shall have spars to see how far you have come since we last trained together." Kurama informed Gaara and Matatabi.
No longer was he wearing his yukata, but a training gi.
"Of course, Master." The two young yokai responded as followed their master.
Once at the training ground, Kurama entered hybrid form.
Like his grandson, he grew larger as his legs became that of a fox's hind legs, while fur covered his entire body while it buffed out.
"Now, come at me." Kurama stated as he gestured at his students.
Matatabi coated her arms in haki and took initiative, charging forward.
Gaara's sand coated the ground around him as some followed close behind Matatabi as she jumped into the air above Kurama, hands primed for cutting into Kurama.
'Mantra.' Said werefox thought as he closed his eyes.
Matatabi misses as he side stepped.
His counter knee to her stomach blocked by Gaara's Sand.
Kurama side stepped Matatabi and instead of countering the nekomata, he thrust his haki coated hand forward towards Gaara.
Without warning, Gaara was blasted off his feet.
'Damn it, the Emission technique.' Gaara thought as he used his tail to push himself backward to land on his feet.
Kurama smiled as he swung his right arm to block Matatabi's hand, before he pushed her back with the Emission technique.
Matatabi used her natural flexibility to land on her feet, before pushing off the ground toward Kurama.
"You rely to much on Ryuo, Matatabi." Kurama stated as he kicked her to the ground before he side-jumped Gaara's sand, grabbing Matatabi and throwing her into Gaara.
'Cat Flame Roaring Fire!' Matatabi thought as she expelled a fireball from her mouth.
Kurama coated his arms in haki and blocked the fire as Gaara caught Matatabi with his sand, only for him to freeze when he felt a claw graze his neck.
"Your use of Mantra is still a bit to slow, Gaara." Kurama said as the defensive sand covered Gaara's neck, reacting to slow to Kurama's speed.
Gaara recalled his sand and put Matatabi onto her feet, making the adult woman sigh in disappointment.
"You two did better, actually working together this time instead of just fighting separately." Kurama said proudly as he took form again. "Now, again."
Without speaking, Gaara and Matatabi lunged together.
Gaara's sand surrounded his body in a ring with his haki coating his sand black as it took shape of a giant arm.
'Monstrous Sand Arm.' He thought, this technique being a weaker, safer variant of his Shukaku Spirit form, since it didn't merge Shukaku's chakra with his body.
Matatabi once again gathered chakra into her mouth, fusing it with her spit.
'Mouse Hairball!' She thought as she spat out half a dozen blue fire mice towards Kurama.
Kurama smiled as he watched them work together.
'First, an offensive strike from the big arm.' He thought as he ducked under Gaara's swipe, before lunging forward on all four limbs. 'And a sneak attack with the tracker fire to get me while I evade, but I will go for the throat.'
Kurama evaded the Mouse Hairball mice, scorching the ground as they detonated upon contact with said ground, ramming head first into Matatabi's stomach before he spun midair, his haki coated tails breaking through Gaara's defensive ring.
However, instead of his defense going up, Gaara's sand formed another arm and latched onto Kurama's tails.
Matatabi, despite the pain in her chest, swiped at Kurama.
Kurama raised his arm defensively with haki, stopping Matatabi's attack before he landed on the ground, flipping Gaara into Matatabi with his tails.
"Damn it!" Matatabi shouted angrily as she hit the ground with Gaara on top of her.
"Good plan you two had." Kurama said proudly as he returned to human form. "Nearly took my tails, Gaara, and your earlier plan with the sand arm and the Mouse Hairball jutsu would kill anyone else."
"Well, we do talk outside of training about how we are going to defeat you." Matatabi stated before Gaara got off of her, growling as his sand started to merge with him.
Kurama got serious as Gaara roared at him, his arm and face covered in sand as Shukaku's senjutsu curse mark coated the sand.
Before Gaara could move, his eyes went white as Kurama's Conqueror's Haki struck him alone.
Matatabi caught Gaara as his sand rolled off his body, saliva rolling down his lips as he passed out.
"Oh, shit." Kurama said in a panic as he realized what he had done. "Gaara, Gaara…"
"He will be fine." Matatabi said as she ran a diagnostics jutsu on Gaara. "Just needs some rest."
Kurama gripped his arm.
'Damn it.' He thought as he mentally berated himself. 'Stupid, stupid, STUPID Kurama. How could you do this to him!'
"Master, it's okay." Matatabi said as she picked Gaara up. "I know that, with your past, when threatened, you react with the efficiency and tenacity of a revolutionary, Gaara knows that too."
"But that doesn't excuse this." Kurama stated. "Gaara is Shukaku's grandson, my brother-in-arms family! This is something I can't allow to happen! I can't lose him, like everyone… else…"
Kurama retreated into himself.
"Shukaku, your mother Matatabi, Gyuki, Kushina, Iva…" Kurama started before his eyes widened. "That's right, Iva is still around. I should pay him a visit."
"You should, I'll help Gaara." Matatabi said as Kurama looked at the tanuki child in her arms.
"I'll make it up to you, Gaara." Kurama said warmly as he ran his hand through Gaara's red hair before he walked off to get ready to visit Iva.
'Mother, would you be sad about the man Kurama has become, or would you not care?' Matatabi thought as she watched Kurama's back. 'Because from what I have learned, he has changed a lot since your heyday.'
Standing up, Matatabi headed to the infirmary for Gaara to recover.
Kamabakka Queendom…
"I should have been there to check up on Naruto-boy." Iva, in his female form, stated as he paced around his tea room with Inazuma sipping her wine. "He awakened again, and yet you kept me from going to heal him, Inazuma!"
"I know, Iva, but you know that Kuroka was there to help restore his life force, so please, calm down." Inazuma replied calmly.
*BANG, BANG, BANG*
"LADY IVA!" A member of the Queendom shouted in fear as they banged on the door. "TH-THERE'S A GUEST FOR YOU!"
Iva and Inazuma could hear the terror in the person's voice as they opened the door, to see the cold-sweat coated individual fall to the floor, not expecting the door to be opened.
"Who is it?" Iva asked as Inazuma helped them up.
"K-ku-Kurama!" they gasped.
Iva felt as if his blood froze over.
'Kurama, he is here?' Iva thought as he took off through his castle while Inazuma helped the person calm down. 'Why would he come here after all this time?'
He neared the entrance, and saw Kurama standing before him.
He wore in that he wore a garnet kimono and hakama, armored boots, and a long flowing sash, with the latter two suggestive of Chinese influence. He wore Chinese breastplates, with a spiked rim, with the addition of Chinese vambraces and armored gauntlets, as well as layered spiked pauldron on each shoulder. On the back plate, he had a red spiral that symbolized his clan, the Otsutsuki.
His hair was pulled tight into a pony tail.
"Emporio Ivankov, you haven't aged a day." Kurama said with a tired smile as he approached his old friend and former third in command.
Iva stood their slack-jawed with wide eyes.
"What's with the look of shock, come give me a hug?" Kurama said as he held his arms out.
"W-why are you here, Kurama?" Iva asked nervously.
"So, no hug?" Kurama asked, saddened that Iva didn't want to give him a hug, lowering his arms. "Okay, that's fine, it has been over four hundred years since we last saw each other. As for why I am here, I just wanted to catch up and talk."
"…"
"…"
"…"
"…"
"That's all?" Iva asked stiffly.
Kurama blinked.
"Well, I did want to talk about…" Kurama said sadly as he looked at Iva. "About my grandson, Naruto."
Iva felt a lump in his throat.
"You have met him, didn't you?" Kurama asked as he hesitantly walked to Iva, putting his hands atop Iva's womanly shoulders. "Please, Iva, tell me about my grandson."
Iva pushed Kurama's hands off of him.
"What do you want to know?" Iva asked as he motioned for Kurama to follow him.
"Anything you know, Iva." Kurama answered as he scratched his head. "I just want to know about him. I… I have never seen him in person, or held him in my arms. Ever since Kushina left me, I had been alone."
"Not until you met Nathan, of course." Iva jabbed jokingly. "Many were shocked you chose a man as your lover, instead of another woman."
"Hey, I will only ever love one woman, and that was Tamamo!" Kurama stated angrily. "I will never love another woman, but that doesn't mean I can't date men!"
"Sheesh, I wasn't judging you, Kurama, was just making an astute observation." Iva retorted as they arrived at the Tea room. "Honey Ginseng tea?"
"Why would I ever ask for any other tea beside my favorite?" Kurama asked with a chuckle, calming down as he sat down.
As Iva made the tea, Inazuma entered the room with crumpets and small tea sandwiches.
"Thank you, Inazuma." Kurama thanked as he took one of the small plates and helped himself while Iva came with a fresh pot of Honey Ginseng tea.
Kurama poured himself a cup and carefully took a sip, sighing as he felt the warm liquid heat up his body.
"Thank you." Kurama thanked a second time as he took a bite from a sandwich.
"Now, about Naruto." Iva said as he sat down. "He is nothing like you or Kushina, but… He has the shape of her face and eyes."
Kurama smiled at that as he remembered Kushina, his treasured daughter.
"But what about the devil who… took him in?" Kurama asked as he gripped his cup, a small crack forming under his fingertips.
"Sairaorg Bael, from what I know, he is more of a father figure for Naruto." Iva stated as he and Kurama continued their conversation.
Next Morning…
Naruto walked out of the house before the son rose with Fenrir beside him.
"You don't need to come with me, Fenrir." Naruto stated as he took off in a jog, enjoying the cold air on his skin, since he wore a muscle shirt, shorts, and running shoes.
"But I want to, young master." Fenrir replied as he ran along side Naruto, with illusion magic covering him so he looked like a giant German Shepherd.
Naruto didn't say anything, just enjoying the cold air and silence as the two jogged in the brightening darkness while the sun slowly rose in the distance.
Deep in thought, Naruto jogged.
'I know they said everything was normal after Rossweisse removed the curse from me, but I am still very worried.' Naruto thought sadly.
Kuisha and Sairaorg had, and still are, spent the night at the Phenex House, not wanting to leave Naruto's side yet, worried he would get sick again, having made a big deal about it the night before.
Naruto felt himself run into someone before he fell on his ass.
"Shit, I am… sorry…" Naruto apologized as he looked up, eyes widening as he recognized the person he ran into, the fear in his voice making Fenrir crouch and bare his fangs.
"It has been a while, hasn't it, Otsutsuki." The tall man stated as he puffed on his cigar, the pungent smoke raising in the cold air.
"Akainu."
Chapter 55, DONE!
1 Kurama's human form was based off of Cross Marian from D. Gray Man, without the mask and glasses.
2 His battle attire is based off of Toga from Inuyasha.
Well, first short chapter of the series, not counting the first chapter, but it is whatever.
Yes, I have revealed the mysterious 'Master' and yes, it's Naruto's grandfather, the Revolutionary Army Leader Kurama Otsutsuki.
Why did I reveal him now?
Because I can and I have a plan.
And Naruto had a reunion with Akainu, the Kupua of Lava, and it is now the New Arc.
The Akainu Watcher Arc.
Nothing else to really say, so please, review, even if you don't like it, let me know what I did wrong so I can do better.
