Anakin glanced at Ahsoka as they made their way to where he sensed Gaalen was waiting for them. Something didn't feel quite right about this, no one attempted to stop them and there was no patrols. "Ahsoka, something doesn't feel right."

"Like we're walking straight into a trap?" Ahsoka questioned in a curious tone as Anakin nodded his head in agreement. "Now that I think about, where are the patrol guards?"

"The thought has crossed my mind as well," Anakin said as he raised a hand to his chin. "It's almost like Leia isn't with him," he muttered under his breath as Ahsoka glanced at him in confusion.

"If he put her down in the detention level, then what type of advantage does he think he would have you over you?" Ahsoka questioned in a curious tone. "No one is that dumb. It's your imagination, Sky Guy."

"Maybe…." Anakin half agreed as he let his voice trail off. "I kind of wonder, what is it my senses are trying to tell me."

Ahsoka glanced at Anakin in confusion as he stopped walking. Something felt very off in the Force and he was having a hard time pinning down as to what he was truly sensing.

Han stepped forward and sat down beside Leia allowing her to lean on him for support. "How are you feeling, Leia?" He questioned in concern as she shook her head in mere confusion.

"Where is dad?" Leia questioned as her thoughts suddenly caught up with her. "Please tell me he did not come."

Han glanced up at Jess as concern etched over the older mans face causing him to frown. "He went after Gaalan," he answered truthfully as Leia suddenly bolted to her feet without warning. He stood up offering support as she lost her balance a bit. "You're in no condition to go after him, sweetheart."

"We need to," Leia argued as she glanced at Jess. "Is he alone?"

"No, Ahsoka is with him," Jess answered honestly. "We refused to let Anakin go by himself."

"You should not have let him come at all," Leia whispered as desperation etched her face. "Gaalen has every intention of turning dad back to Vader, no matter what it takes."

Anakin glanced around the room as he sensed Gaalen was in here. He didn't see where Leia was, maybe she was down in the detention level. What leverage did Gaalen think he had if Han and Jess rescued Leia? "I can sense you're here, my former apprentice. Show yourself."

Anakin tensed a bit as Gaalen appeared from out of the shadows. He glanced at Ahsoka as she watched Gaalen. He turned his attention back to Gaalen with a serious expression as his anger started to rise. "Where is Leia?" He demanded in an angry tone. "This is kidnapping and you should release her immediately."

Gaalen chuckled in a way that reminded him of Palpatine causing him to shudder. "I imagine Solo and Shern have taken her back to the Falcon by now."

"I didn't see that coming," Ahsoka commented with a whisper. "How does he plan to get you to side with him?"

Anakin fell silent as he stared at Gaalen. His anger started to rise as he reached for his lightsaber. He was ready to cut Gaalen down to size. He suspected at this point, it wouldn't take much for him to become Vader. That caused him to pause for a moment.

"Anakin, its a trap and we should leave if Leia is not here," Ahsoka pointed out with a frown as she placed her hand onto his arm. "Let's go before you do something you will regret."

Anakin released the handle of his lightsaber. He turned his attention to Ahsoka as she gestured for them to exit. "I prefer to kill him."

Ahsoka raised an eyebrow. "Vader is not the nicest person to get a long with."

Anakin shook his head as he stared hard at Gaalen who was watching him like a hawk "What is it that you want with me?"

"I want you to train Briice in the dark side," Gaalen answered with an evil grin as Anakin felt shivers rush through him causing him to shutter a bit.

Anakin's hand began to rise aiming at Gaalen's neck. It wouldn't take much to kill Gaalen, cut off his air supply with the Force and…

"Anakin NO!" Ahsoka snapped angrily as she watched his eyes. "Anakin, your eyes, they're turning orange and yellow. Don't do this," she pointed out in a pleading tone.

"Shut up, Snips," Anakin snapped back as his anger inched up a few more notches. "He has it coming."

"What about your family, what about your friends," Ahsoka pointed out with a serious expression. "If you go down this path a second time, you will be executed. This is your second chance, don't blow it."

Anakin shook his head as he released his anger into the Force. Lillian was just a baby like Luke and Leia were after he nearly killed Padme. Luke and Leia were scarred from what he did to them. Lillian is a fresh start. Padme would never be able to handle it a second time. Leia would be after his head after she recuperates. Leia, she believed in him. He can't let her down now.

Luke ran to Han and Jess as they helped Leia walk back to the Falcon. He quickly took her arm as Leia leaned into him. "Are you all right, Leia?" He questioned in concern as she shook her head no.

"No, I'm worried about dad. He should've never went," Leia answered as Luke helped her up the ramp. "Luke, you and Jess need to go after him."

"Ahsoka is with him," Luke pointed out with a frown. "She'll look after him," he said with a frown as he sensed something in the Force causing chills begin to prickle his back causing him to shiver. Vader. He looked at Leia noticing her eyes were wide open with shock. "Jess, let's get going. Han, can you stay with Leia?"

"Sure Luke," Han agreed as he moved under Leia. Jess looked around as concern and worry etched his face. "What is wrong, Jess?"

"Where is the clone Briice?" Jess questioned as Luke felt confusion

"I don't know," Han answered honestly. "I guess he disappeared after we left the detention level. Maybe he changed his mind and decided not to come."

"Dad needs you now, Luke. You have to go after him and make sure he comes back to his senses before he does damage and blows his second chance," Leia pointed out as Luke nodded in agreement.

"Jess, lets go find him."

When the group of rescuers were not looking, Briice slipped away from the group. He had to find Gaalen and this Anakin Skywalker. If anyone understood about walking away from the Empire it would be him. Was this the correct path to follow, he could not be sure. He was barely fifteen days old and didn't understand about anything that was going on or about this galaxy. Jess did seem to think it was okay for him to leave with the group. It just felt wrong on how he was getting treated by his master. Why did he feel unsure about leaving the group? Maybe this wasn't the correct way. He didn't know where their ship was docked.

Briice decided to head towards where he could feel his master was. He started to track him through the Force and before he knew it, he had arrived to a terrifying scene. Gaalen and someone else was in a lightsaber battle between him, Jess and one other man he did not recognize. There was an unfamiliar species he didn't recognize.

"Come on Skywalker, where is that old anger I used to feel coming from you? I sensed it earlier," Gaalen taunted causing Skywalker to go on the offensive. "Doesn't Vader want to come out and say hi to his old student?"

"I promised the family to never fall again," the man snapped back angrily. "For you, I'm willing to make the exception."

The alien jumped in between the two just as lightning erupted from Gaalens hands. "Ahsoka, watch out!" Skywalker yelled as he pushed the other out of the way as lightning slammed into him. Skywalker nearly lost his balance as he gave himself a moment to catch his balance again.

"Anakin, are you all right?" Ahsoka questioned as a big ball of white lightning erupted from the other mans hands hitting Gaalen squarely on the chest. "I guess so. When did you learn that, Sky Guy?"

"A while ago, while I was still Vader," Anakin answered between gritted teeth.

"We should try to leave while we still can, dad," The other man pleaded with a concerned expression.

"Not now, Luke. Not until Gaalen gets taught a lesson in manners," Anakin snipped back easily as he jumped at Gaalen with his lightsaber lit causing Briice to watch in amazement as Gaalen and Anakin went toe to toe with their lightsabers locked.

"There you are," he heard a voice come from behind him causing Briice to turn to face Jess Shern. "Did you change your mind about leaving? It would be in your best interest or I will have to kill you. I don't want my son's name dragged through the mud."

Briice starred at Jess beginning to wonder what the correct path was. He wasn't a hundred percent sure, but this man seemed sure he would kill him just to preserve his son's name sake. Not that he blamed Jess, would he do the same thing? Maybe. "I don't know what to do. I don't know anything about this galaxy or what is right or wrong."

"What feels right to you?" Jess questioned in a patient tone. "What does your heart tell you? Your instincts will never steer you wrong."

"It does not feel right to stay," Briice admitted after a few seconds of silence. "It feels right to leave, the way he treats me. If I'm wrong or do something wrong. He sends me to bed without dinner and I asked him to leave he….."

"Is that when he had you put into a cell?" Jess questioned as Briice nodded as the older man held out his hand. "Come with me and I can show you the true meaning of being a Jedi."

"I guess," Briice agreed as he took Jess's hand. "I want to leave."

"Good, you and Anakin have something in common," Jess pointed out with a slight smile. A loud ear splitting scream caused both Jess and Briice to look in the direction of Anakin and Gaalen. Briice had to do a double take as he noticed both arms were missing off Gaalen as Anakin stood above his former student pointing his lightsaber at the man's throat. "By the way, never get on Anakin's bad side."

"Right," Briice agreed as Gaalen stared at his stumps in shock.

"You will pay for this, Skywalker," Gaalen growled as he stumbled to his feet. "I will hunt you and your family down."

"I look forward to finishing you off, but not today. I have to get my daughter back to safety where she can recuperate. It seems you're all tied up in arms at the moment," Anakin smirked as Gaalen glared at him. "Let's go."

"That last comment was cruel, Sky Guy," Ahsoka pointed out as Anakin and the others walked back to where Jess and Briice were standing.

"So sue me," Anakin snipped back. "I've had it with this place. Lets get out of here."

"One other thing, Anakin," Gaalen commented causing the group to pause as Anakin turned around. "I may have given Leia the antidote but there is a nasty side effect."

"What is it?" Anakin questioned in an angry tone.

"You'll find out, it's only temporarily but it will cause you to become grief stricken," Gaalen snarled.

Briice watched in horror as Anakin held out his hand lifting Gaalen into the air, he could hear the other struggling to breath. "He's lying to you. Can we please leave?"

"Trai..." Gaalen gulped with breath. "Traitorous brat. That would've gotten Skywalker to fall to the dark side."

"Let's get out of here," Anakin commented as they headed for the exit. Briice heard a thump from behind him followed by a groan in pain.

"Anakin, did you have to cut off his arms and then drop him afterwards?" Ahsoka questioned in a curious tone.

"Like I stated earlier, Snips. He had it coming."

Leia watched as Anakin and the others walked back onto the ship as relief flooded her. She stood up and ran to Anakin wrapping her arms around him as he returned the hug. "Dad, I've been so worried you would fall, and I felt Vader…." She commented as she quickly released him looking into his ice blue eyes.

"Ahsoka reminded me on what would happen if I fell a second time," Anakin explained. "She stopped me from killing Gaalen in cold blood."

"Is he dead?" Leia questioned in concern as she glanced at the others as they all shook their heads.

"He's going to need new arms," Anakin explained causing Leia to frown. "I'm sure he is in the med bay at this very moment. Speaking of which, Solo get us out of here."

"You got it, General," Han answered as he made a hasty retreat to the Falcon's cockpit.

"Let's go home," Anakin exclaimed as Leia noticed he looked very tired all of sudden, it made her wonder what exactly went on when he confronted the Sith Lord. "Leia, are you all right? Do you feel okay?"

"I'm feeling okay. Dad, you look exhausted. What exactly happened?" Leia questioned in concern.

"I didn't think light side lightning was possible but Anakin managed to nail Gaalen back with it after he pushed me out of harms way," Ahsoka explained with a frown. "I'm also under the impression it can take quite a bit of energy."

"Strap in, we're about to be gone," Han shouted back to them as Leia sat down and pulled the straps over her shoulders. She felt the Falcon disengage from the air lock as she heard Chewie howl causing her to smile,

Anakin's head dropped without warning. She would've been conccrned but his breathing looked normal. She wasn't too far off from that exhausted remark. She glanced at Ahsoka who was watching Anakin with a frown. "Is he okay?"

"Yes, he's just tired," Ahsoka answered after a minute of silence. "He needs rest."

As if on cue, Anakin's head snapped up and his eyes opened. "Where are you, Leia?"

"I'm here, dad. You look like you could use a nap," Leia said with a slight smile as the Falcon's engines whined, she felt the ship lurch knowing that they had made the jump to light speed and safety. She breathed a sigh of relief as she took her straps off. She walked to Anakin's side and helped him get out of his straps. "Come on, there is a bed in the back you can lay down on."

Anakin didn't argue as he stood up and trudged to where the spare cot was and laid down as Leia pulled a blanket over him. She noticed he fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow. She quietly left the cabin as she heard soft snoring come from behind her. She quickly shut the door as Han walked out. He walked over and kissed Leia hard on the lips causing her heart to quicken. She wrapped her arms around his body feeling shivers rush over her. Han was the one. It was time to tell Isolder no to his proposal.
