It takes a moment for Harm to come out of his stupor, "That wasn't nice, MacKenzie."

She stops walking, allowing him to catch up with her, even it will only take him one or two strides. She places her hand over her mouth, attempting to stifle a giggle, "Oh, it was perfect. Your face was positively priceless."

Reaching her side, he wraps his arm around her waist tickling her for a moment before tucking her under his arm, he adds, "I guess that means there is another discussion we need to have later though."

Lifting her head off his shoulder, she glances up at him, "What's that?"

He answers cautiously, "On whether or not when we cross that threshold if we want to take precautions or just let whatever happens, happen."

Mac is slightly surprised at his offer. She figured based on their discussions that he would want to have some time for just them before becoming a threesome. She inquires, "What about the five-year deal?"

He shrugs, "Null and void."

Mac's jaw drops in her astonishment, "Really?"

Seriously, he replies, "Really. I don't want to give you time to decide that this was a mistake and give you time to find someone else before the five-year deal is up."

She squeezes him to her, reassuring both of them. She can't believe that he would even think that she would want anyone else. She's stuck by him this long, not only as partners but as best friends too, and now more. Secretly she is thrilled that he might want to move the timetable up to have a child. Her biological clock has been ticking a whole lot louder and much more frequently since they admitted their true feelings for each other. It's as if the universe is shouting, "It took you two long enough! Forget the opening credits, just hit 'fast play.' It's time for the main event and all that it entails! Wedding bells, baby cries. Enough stalling already!"

Harm has stopped walking, and is looking down at her, slightly scared. It's then that she realizes that she has been quiet for longer than she probably should have been given his comment. Mac offers him a sheepish smile, "Sorry, I got lost in thought for a moment. Not going to happen, Navy. I'm never going to find anyone else. You are stuck with me forever."

Inwardly heaving an enormous sigh of relief, he bends down to quickly kiss her, "Good!" Harm's cell phone buzzes just as he is holding the door open for her. He replies, "Thank you, we will be there in just a moment, we are already on our way back up." He looks over to her, "Captain Armstrong is just finishing up with his patient before me, it's time."

She takes his hand as they walk inside, squeezing it offering her support, "Walk in the park, Harm. If you can pass the bar, and land on a carrier, you can surely handle a doctor."

He raises his brow, "Doctors are fine. For the most part all they do is talk. It's the nurses that scare the hell out of me. You never know what they are going to stick you with next!"

Mac grins as they briskly walk up the stairs, "They are just trying to even out the playing field."

Clearing not understanding, Harm inquires, "Huh?"

Deciding to tease him a little, she only offers, "Most nurses are women."

Harm rolls his eyes, "Clearly. And I'm not being sexist here, but exactly what is your point?"

Her only response is a devilish smile, telling him without words, 'Think about it for a moment, Flyboy. I'm sure you will figure it out.'

Understanding dawns on him, "You are terrible, Marine! I don't know what I am going to do with you."

She flirts, "I can think of a few things…."

Harm opens the door to the floor where his appointment is and points his index finger to the chairs, "Go sit over there, Marine!" Shaking his head at her brazen attitude, he realizes that he is going to need to invest in something that will hide his reactions to her, at least in public, if she is going to keep this up for the next fifty years or so. Either that or buy larger pants so his don't fit quite so snugly.

Harm arrives at the nurses' stand with his skin flushed red from his neck to his ears, thankful that there is a wall in between them. He offers, "I'm back."

The nurse takes one look at his rosy appearance and inquires, "Are you okay, Sir?"

Harm nods, muttering under his breath, "Nothing a cold shower won't fix!"

Taking a quick glance at his chart and seeing a few notes regarding his blood pressure she is a tad concerned. She gestures to the closest chair, "Have a seat and let me get your vitals to note in your chart for the doctor."

She immediately grabs the blood pressure cuff and attempts to place it around his rather muscular bicep. Her co-workers' earlier words briefly echo in her head, 'You are not here to date patients,' before clearing her mind so she can concentrate on getting an accurate reading.

She breathes freely again when she jots down that his pressure is normal just as Captain Armstrong steps out and takes Harm's chart from the nurse. He offers his hand, "Good morning, Commander Rabb. Trying to scare my nurse?"

Harm offers him a firm handshake, "Pleasure to meet you Captain Armstrong." He stands up and nods towards Mac as he makes his next comment in a whisper, "Sorry, you would be a little red yourself if you had a beautiful but naughty Marine whispering things in your ear."

The Captain is slightly perplexed for a moment until he glances over at the woman Harm is gesturing to and verbalizes his agreement, "Yes, I probably would. Is she joining us?"

Harm calls over, "Get the lead out, MacKenzie, doc is ready."

Mac rolls her eyes in exasperation as she walks over to where they are standing muttering to herself, 'I practically had to drag him here this morning, and now he wants to make comments about me being slow? The nerve of that man sometimes is enough to drive me to insanity!' Harm provides the necessary introductions as Captain Armstrong directs them into the examination room.
