Flint sat alone in his room, bouncing a small ball against the wall and catching it as it returned to him. He had been incredibly bored since his fight with Thomas, considering that he was in a lot of pain, and needed to conserve his energy for whatever was next to come. Even though he was hurt, he was certain that Chris wouldn't do anything to help him out. He let out a sigh as he caught the ball again, letting out a sigh as he tossed it to the ground, causing it to bounce back up and hit him in the forehead.

"Ouch!" he whined, rubbing where it hit him immediately.

As he grumbled to himself, his device started to ring in his pocket. He fumbled around, pulling it out as quick as he could and looking at the screen, noticing that the call was from Vicente. It was odd, considering that they had barely spoke to each other ever. He answered it anyways, ignoring the oddity of it all.

"Hello?" he answered.

"Flint?" Alexis' voice came from the device, shocking him.

"Alexis!? What are you doing with Vicente's-"

"Thomas broke mine...and Nicolás', who had set this whole plan up."

"Nicolás!? That little shy dude!?"

"Yeah, I was shocked too. Apparently, Thomas threatened him to make an app for him so he could spy on everybody. It's messed up, but he didn't have much of a choice in the matter."

"That's so weird to hear, I thought it would've been someone like Alex. I thought he was just playing the part of his friend to lead him to his doom, y'know?"

"I thought that for a bit too, but oh well. I just wanted to say thanks, again."

"Thanks?"

"You know, we only got to take Thomas down because of you. You were the only thing that really stopped him."

"I don't know about that, you did a lot of work-"

"I got myself roped up immediately, Thomas was gonna kill me if it wasn't for you."

"Aw, shucks."

"By the way, how are you feeling?"

"I'm alright, a little sore, is all."

"But you're okay?"

"As okay as someone who just fought an assassin and got his ass beat could be, I suppose."

"Haha, Flint. I'm just worried about me."

"Aw, somebody likes me!"

"It's not like that, silly. I just don't want you to suffer because of me. It wouldn't be right."

"Well, I'm fine. I'll be okay, and I'll win this thing!"

"That's the spirit! Oh, I gotta go! Vicente wants his device back."

"Damn..."

"What?"

"It was just nice to talk to you. It's no fun without you around, queen."

"...I miss you too, Flint."

"We'll hang out after the show, right?"

"Definitely. You can bet on it."

"Sweet, see ya later."

The girl hung up, leaving him alone again. But this time, instead of being bored, he was all too thrilled to have heard from her again. What a great day it was to be Flint Goldenrod.
