Button mash was walking around the ruins of the arcade as Videomane as he said, "this is so sad! I get an origin story and this happens! Super powers are not worth it!"
he then spotted a group of brainwashed foals attacking Spiderling Dark devil and flurry heart the three trying to hold them back.
he noticed Bab Seed was part of it and his eyes did a widen, "No no! she is on the ledge!" he watched as she fell off the side brainwashed to much to scream but button mash held his hands out and fired off a beam making an ice ramp babs landed on it and slide she landed on her arm it made a crack it was broken! But she was alive!
The pai nand the cold seemed to snap her out of it just in time to see the Two dimensional being before her and she screamed! Videomane held his hands up, "I'm not a bad guy babs! I just saved your life!"
Darkdevil then spoke up saying, "true just watched it and you seemed to shock him out! we could use that! Fire that cold ray up high mane!" the new hero did as told and Darkdevil breathed fire making the cold ray flash a cloud they hit into a rain cloud making it rain snapping the foals out.
As they snapped out button's glow start fading as he turned back to normal, "What the!" he touched him self and bab seed fainted.
Later on below Spiderling had made a sling for the broken armed minimare! As Flurryheart used a spell to scan button mash, " you simply ran out of power!" she said touching the air around him to high light aura, "your power work by same kind of electric field! When it is charged enough it makes you videomane and when it's to low it turns you back! But we got to go figure this out!"
Button held his hand out," wait you could use my help as last time I checked you guys would have still be fighting the school with out me!"
Spiderling held up a hand, "true but after words you ran out of power! How do we know it won't happen while you are in harms ways! You need to get the hang of your powers first! And unlike us you don't have any one to teach us! Let's go get Billy conners he is a lizard and can't fall under that sound spell."
As button mash was left alone he sighed and walked off, "No respect for the rookie!" he had his hands in his pocket, "babs is freaked out and ran away! And I can't go tell mom I have super powers now!"
unknwon to him our Hippogriff was watching him through cameras and took a note of Button's new powers and ran an id program! " so single mother with a boy who now has power!"
In a moment his video showed button turning back into videomane and moving through the power grid by entering a machine! Th Hippogriff struggled to find him again for a moment till he appeared before his house
videomane held his head," did I just travel through the power grid back home! Wait! I traveled through the power grid that means I can absorb power shouldn't it!" he then looked to the power lines and held a hand.
before long power was sucked out of them and in to him making the lights go out in the houses for a moment till he stopped, "….. In your face little power ponies I can stop this mad mane!" he said entering the power grid.
the hippogriff quickly altered his message, and hit buttons.
before long the videomane popped back up in another part of the City like hit a wall and saw the lines cut form a building, "there it is the bad guy is in that building! And no one around!"
A voice then said," We're around!" there was Bill, Spiderling, Darkdevil and flurry heart and button had his hands on his hips, "and Look who found it by themselves I still beat you too it! Little group who mocked my powers! Well joke is on you!" he said holding his claws out to absorb energy form the building making the signal stopped," I just killed the power in this place so I saved the day! Suck it! I would flip the finger but my hands are clamps I don't have the digits for it!"
In a moment on video screens the hippogriff appeared someplace else holding a knife to love tab button's mother's neck, "hello videomane the new hero that just ruined my plans! I should I call you by your real name of button mash! It's weird but I feel connect my bomb gave you those powers! And you bite me in the ass! My country lost the war but I still fight! I will kill your mother if you do not restore power to my machine and boost it! or my name isn't the piper!"
Button had his hand up, "don't give me that look you four! I read enough comics to know he would double cross me! but so much for a secret identity! Wait how did he know I depowered his machine!?"
Flurry heart held her chin and said," Cameras? Wait can't those be faked!"
Video mane made a click with his claws, "princess you are a genius!" he then looked at a camera and entered it and said," back in a nano-second!"
In a moment the piper saw what looked like button reversing his energy absorb and smiled as he pushed the woman down and pulled out a gun, "Now I don't need a hostage!" Only for a moment a two dimensional clamp hand to grab his wrist making him stop.
the piper looked to see videomane with angry eyes as he said," silly piper I just played the video of me depowering you machine building backwards!"
the bad guy said," is it to late to say sorry for almost shooting your mother dead!" In a moment he was shocked as button mash said, "touch attack unlocked!" in a moment the feathers exploded off him and button let go.
the bad guy sniffed unable to move," I smell golden brown and tasty!"
Videomane looked to his stunned mom, "I'll be right back to explain mom!" he then dove into the lines again to appear back by the building to shake his two dimensional butt at the four side kicks as he said, "Suck it! you mocked me but I just saved the day hahahahaha! "
Spiderling sighed, "We admit it we were wrong you know what you could do form the game and comics!"
the new hero said, " thank you! thank you very much!"
Later on the acting Mayor was putting a medal on the now normal button Mash's neck as he smiled looking at it marked hero he rubbed the back of his head," geee you are making me blush!" and then he got hugged by all of the power ponies as Mash said, "it's a good day in the life of button mash!"
Later on Love tab was on the phone as she asked, "button where are you!"
On his end button mash in the form of video mane was holding a phone and on the shoulder of red ronin " just want to see red ronin so dragon lands! Wait I traveled by the prancer satellite dish!... Mom! Don't have cow! … I need to figure this powers out!... oh wait Babs is on the other line!" he then hit a button as he said," Babs be quick my mom is on the other end…. Sure I would love to go to the dance with you…. How could my mom stop me ! I can teleport using the power grid!"
he then changed back over to his mom! On her end Love tab breath a sigh of defeat she couldn't control a super hero! She couldn't stop her son form leaving the house or any of that anymore so she just said," just be back home by Ten!"
button mash then popped out of the phone into the living and turned back to normal, "I can be back quicker then that!"
Love tab then fainted.
