It was a pleasant Saturday afternoon. The ACS was outside the studio. The air was cold, and Chanel, Vada, Saatvika, Carla, Harley, Presley Beth, and Julianna were all bundled up in their winter clothes.
"Thank for for this Saturday Mew Mew meeting," greeted Kiki. "Today, we're going to have a water balloon fight. We're not doing it at the school, because Dean Dennis hates getting sued for safety violations."
"Why are we having this water balloon fight?" asked Harley. "It's the middle of winter."
"I know, girls," Ms. Benjamin repliedm "but I thought we could have a private ice skating party, just as long as we clean up the rubber balloons so animals won't choke on them."
Since they knew that Ms. Benjamin was all about fun, they decided to participate.
When they left the room, they saw Leighton feeling glum. She explained to them that her boyfriend Leopold broke up with her after believing that his scholarship to Julliard was more important than her. To cheer her up, they decided to bring her to their private party.

Out by Ms. Benjamin's home, they cleared the path, tossed water balloons on it, and slipped and slide away. In order to avoid car troubles, she placed her car on the road. Rapidly, Leighton and the Mew Mews got in on the water balloon fight. Quietly, the Mini-Mews placed the rubber balloon pieces and placed them in the trash when started sensing something. "Diànyǐng! Diànyǐng! (Movie! Movie!)" they shouted.
Leighton believed that she was hearing things, because she was fluent in Chinese thanks to her Chinese-speaking lessons. "My sources tell me that Worldwide Studios is filming right here in this neighborhood for the Chinese dance film 'Step it Shirong', featuring former 'Let's All Dance Until We're Sick' backup dancer/contestant Wan Shirong."
"He's the one who masters that sparkler routine without activating the fire alarm, right?" asked Saatvika.
"That's him," replied Leighton.
Danna then remembered that she had to do a grammar report on how movies were written. So she and Leighton decided to leave the ice skating party to check out the filming.

By a suburban home, they spotted a stunning Chinese man. He was Wan Shirong. Not wanting to get in trouble, Danna and Leighton placed on kung fu dance outfits. Unfortunately, the director thought they were real extras and casted them into the movie. Quickly, Won Ton flew from Danna's hat and flew away to warn the others.
Little did anyone know was that Arethra and Crossni was going around disguised as doughnut girls. "So, they think they can make an Asian version of 'Dirty Dancing'? They're wrong," whispered Crossni as she ate a moldy cruller.
"Save some moldy doughnuts for me," Arethra replied.

Back at the Benjamins' residence, everyone was cleaning up the rubbery balloons when Won Ton came in shouted, "Cuòwù! Cuòwù!"
"Mistake?" translated Ms. Benjamin. "Wait a sec - you're telling me that Danna and Leighton got mistaken for extras for the film and now they're going to be shot *in* the film?"
Won Ton quickly nodded its head.
"What are we waiting around for?" said Saatvika. "We gotta get them back!"

Later, they arrived to the house where "Step It Shirong" was being filmed when they came across a lion. The girls got scared, but Ms. Benjamin tamed it with a little whip and recognized him Jasiah, a famous lion actor.
"I can't believe that filmmakers would bring a real lion to a real house for a movie," said Harley.
"From my experience as a Bollywood star," Saatvika explained, "you don't always have to be at a television studio with plywood sets. They sometimes go to actual places, just so they can make the movie and show look real."
Now all that was left was to figure out a way to sneak in. Using their acting skills, Vada, Saatvika, and Harley snuck into the set disguised as dancers while the rest of the team snuck through the back to find Leighton and Danna.
Inside, Vada was distracting the director by reading out a scene from "Sherlock"'s "The Hounds of Baskerville." While looking around the place, Danna and Leighton spotted Ms. Benjamin and a few of their friends sneaking around when a security guard walked behind them. Danna tilted her head, telling them to turn around non-verbally.
Ms. Benjamin turned her head, only to find the unpleasant security guard. "What are you ladies doing here?" he demanded.
"We're here to get our friends out of the movie set," answered Ms. Benjamin.
Unfortuately, the guard replied, "I've heard that before."
Before he could kick them off the set, the Mini-Mews whispered, "Weixian! Weixian!"
Lo and Mein blinded the guard with their fuzzy bodies while they projected Jasiah turning into McCart Lion. From inside, Danna told Leighton to go find Saatvika, Vada, and Harley.
Mew Mew, Metamorphosis!

Outside the studio, the six Mew Mews fought off the gentically altered lion scaring with their animal instincts. Seeing the water faucet, Mew Mew Cupcake got an idea. "I got it," she said. "Another water balloon fight?"
They all nodded their heads in agreement. Quickly, Mew Mew Cupcake grabbed some balloons, filled them with water, and tossed giant water balloons to McCart Lion. "Don't you know cats don't like water?" asked Mew Mew Dumpling. "They prefer to lick themselves."
"Now for the final call!" shouted Mew Mew Cupcake.

And just like that, McCart Lion turned back into Jasiah. found outside the and lured him with some lion treats.
Right on time, the actual dancers who were suppose to show up was amazed by the special effects and how they tamed Jasiah. From the door, the director came out with an annoyed face. "Those strange backup dancers can't stop bugging me with their 'Hounds of Baskerville' act," he complained. "I don't even like Shakespeare."
"Sorry we're late," said one dancer. "We got caught in traffic."
The director was surprised that the real backup dancers were showing up tardy. He was so frustrated by the confusion, he didn't notice that the Mew Mews were leaving.

Two days later, everyone was talking about "Stepping It Shirong" having a little lion shenanigans. Leighton and the ACS were playing poker when they heard about what was going on. "We were lucky we returned the costumes and snuck out of the set before the director noticed," Harley said.
"To bad we never got to see them direct the film nor get a report," Danna said.
"Yes, we do," Leighton replied. "After most of you left to go back to ACS, I did an interview with Saatvika. She is a Bollywood star, after all, and thanks to her I've got an A+ on my report."
"Congrats, Leigh," smiled Harley. "That's show biz."
