Liz- Thank you so much for your support. Every chapter I post I can count on you to leave a review. Not gonna lie, the last ten chapters of this story were for you. I hope you can forgive me for ending things like this, but it needs to be done.

To everyone else who has ever left a review and has stuck around for this long, thank you.

It's time. (Please stick around till the end here, I tried to make this spiel worth it.)

I've been writing this story since I was a sophomore in highschool, and now I'm closing in on the end of my junior year of college.

I first began this story because I saw the potential in the original Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters show and was frustrated with all of the missed opportunities the lack of character development for it's very large and interesting cast. I, a complete novice writer, saw something special in there and thought I could do better or expand upon the show in areas where I felt it failed. And as I wrote, readers like you all encouraged me and for that I'll forever be grateful.

Ego got me to write this story in the first place, and all of your kind comments and views have kept it alive for this long.

But now it's time to let this fic go.

I've forgotten a lot of my original plot points for this story, and each time I come back I know I'm probably overwriting some previous statement or chapter I've created months or possibly even years ago. This fanfiction can basically map out my journey as a writer. From those crappy first chapters all the way to the last couple that only took me one or two days to do, but are so much more polished than the first fifteen chapters combined.

But I don't want to just leave this story as is. I still had so much left to do with Rebellion of the Duel Masters that even now it kills me to let this go, but every time I post a chapter it takes me months to build up the time and energy to sit down, read through the previous chapter, double check fifteen other older chapters, and finally post an update, and I can't say that it's worth it to me anymore. I have so many more stories to tell, but the skeletons on this account definitely haunt me, so it's time to put a few to bed.

These are all of the notes I had for the ending of this story, from the most recent chapter all the way to the ending epilogue I had planned. I'll also thrown in any other notes I had for other Kaijudo series like Optimism or my unwritten side idea for a rewrite of my other story, Episode 21.5.

I'm sorry for taking so long to come to this conclusion, but I believe it's the best decision for me to make at this time. For anyone that still continues to write for Kaijudo, please feel free to take any parts of this story to make your own.

Thank you all for sticking around for this long.

Onto the final plot points of Kaijudo: Rebellion of the Duel Masters.

Ch57 and onwards

Allie Myuri and Eyal have a talk. Back during the Kitsune Megaria conflict, Eyal was captured and held as randsome, and Holona had gone disguised as Ahri to trade herself for Eyal. The disguised Holona is found out and killed for the trick, and Eyal is supposedly killed as well in order to force Ahri's hand. It works and Ahri attacks Megaria with a small group so a few remaining Kitsune could flee. Ahri is the only survivor of the fight when the dust settles, and through a crack in the veil she escapes into the Human world, hoping beyond hope that Megaria would assume all Kitsune dead after the conflict and overlook the few survivors left behind. After many decades, Ahri had assumed none lived through the conflict until she met Hero

Back at the temple, Mighty Shouter informs the Masters and Guard that the Choten has been spotted holding his base on a cliffside that borders the water civilization and the nature civilization. Knowing he only had access to the helm of ultimate technology, the Duel Masters decide to try and steal back the artifact. Mai offers to head the mission, and the mission includes Jaha, Chavez, Ray, and Gabe. Gabe, Chavez and Jaha stick behind while Mai and Ray infiltrate the organization, and Ray is stunned when Maria recognizes them immediately but doesn't turn them in. Maria leads them to where the Choten kept the helm and helps them try to escape. They are discovered just as they are leaving and Maria is forced to fight them to keep her cover. During the duel, the ground breaks open under Ray and he falls into an underground river that sweeps him deeper into the nature civilization.

Gabe and the others call for reinforcement, and Kimora, Nadia and Celeste arrive. The Choten moves to capture them and succeeds, killing Mai in the process. Kimora grieves his mother deeply and after pulling out all of the condensed mana from her body, Nadia makes a final stand and the masters and Gabe are able to escape the Choten's grasp. Believing Ray to be dead too, Chavez and Nadia go to inform Janet and Ken about what happened. Before they arrive, Okami runs away. She sensed Ray was in trouble from across the veil and ran to help him, breaking open a veil breach on her own and entering the nature civ to find and save him.

Ray awakens in the middle of the nature civilization. He remembers nothing but his name, but Okami has found him and sticks close to his side, along with a unicorn. He is on some sort of bed of leaves, and soon enough a strange woman comes to tend to him. The woman, Diana, is blind, and she mistakes him for a human creature hybrid like herself. She is all human except for her long ears, cloven hooves, and lion-like tail. She sees through mana, and she explains he has the mana of a creature, but the body of a human, and she hasn't met anyone like him in a long while. She offers to take him in, and he accepts.

Ahri begins to pull through as the days pass and Allie and Myuri are strained, but generally get along. Arthur is escorted into Darkness by Jaha and he tells her what happened to Ray. Allie is devastated, and Ahri stirs and comforts her.

Diana brings Ray to live with her in a village full of satyrs, who all easily accept him. The Unicorn visits him on occasion, but is gone more often than not. One night, Diana tells Ray stories about the fairies. She tells him they were beings between creature and human, and the old Masters were inspired by their magic to form both the Guard and the Order. She reminisces about being part of the Guard and how both the Guard and Order used to follow the fairy's code, but as the creature wars grew worse and butterfly effects wreaked havoc upon the human world, humans grew callous to creature kind and did what they felt they needed to do instead of doing what was right for both sides of the veil.

The temple holds a vigil for both Ray and Mai. Raven attends, along with Allie and a still healing Ahri. Gabe asks why they've never had a ceremony before when they've definitely lost members, and Nadia explains that the vigils are meant for scaring more than mourning. Ray was still a kid, and showing he too was susceptible to death often frightened younger acolytes away from becoming to reckless. Gabe notices Alakshmi watching from the distance, and watches Nadia go to comfort her.

the masters return the artifacts to the titans of the rebellions, and the masters gain their rings. Nadia makes amends with Rubyeye, and receives her grandfather's titan ring. Allie returns to earth after her mother recovers and right away joins Nightmare King and Arachnos' side, angry that she's already putting herself in danger again. At school, they are all looked on in pity for the loss of their friend- who supposedly went missing. Carny comes to poke fun at them, but Allie flat out decks him, sending him flying with her new stregnth. Gabe and Allie go to visit Raven. Three share stories for a while. Meanwhile, Ray and Diana help the satyrs set up a festival and hears a story about a legendary creature of five civilizations that defends a magical sword. He feels drawn to the story. He tells Diana he wants to find the sword, and Diana supports him, allowing him to go off on his own with Okami and follow the legend.

Ray follows the legend and on occasion notices that the Unicorn is following him. He finds the sword, but not the legendary creature. When he picks up the sword for the first time, he feels a pull in a certain direction. The unicorn comes to him and grants him an arm that bears thorns. Ray decides to follow the pull.

The Choten is at it again, and he attacks the water elder's hideout again. The team does their best to stop him, but they have an army of darkness creatures at their back. Allie, takes down a darkness creature and forces it to tell her why darkness is still backing the Choten. They learn that the Choten has taken Kyuubi Kitsune captive. They are overwhelmed by the Darkness creatures and the Choten captures the Water elder.

Panicked that they've gotten two elders, the Masters go into the fire civ to find the fire elder. They alert Raja and Raja is distraught. The alert the other rebellion leaders as well, and all of the remaining civilizations go in search of their elders. They slowly come to realize the Choten has captured all of them except for the nature and light elders. The duel masters scramble to meet with all of the rebellion leaders to figure out what the Choten is trying to do.

Ray finds himself completely lost in the nature civilization. The sword is still guiding him, but the target seems to be moving. Growing tired, Ray tries to convince a hoselike creature to carry him towards the goal faster. It doesn't work very well and he's injured. Okami steps up and gives more into her kaiju side, becoming larger and more ghostly, but now rideable. Together they find what the sword was leading them to: the five civilization hybrid Quetzalcoatl

Ray tries to befriend Quetzalcoatl, but she is disinterested in him until she sees the sword and recognizes his mana is different than other humans. There, Quetzalcoatl tells him about the fairies and how they originally fought for peace between mankind and creature kind. The original Duel Masters studied under the fairies and when it was finally decided that creature and human kind must be separate if they are all to live in peace, the Masters offered themselves as sacrifices to complete the barrier. But instead, the Masters found a way to twist the spell so that the monarchs were put to sleep and the masters lived on. Due to their creature nature, the fairies were all pulled into the kaiju realm, and slowly they died out as true fairies are always female. Ray asks how they have anything to do with him, and Coatl explains he is the closest living thing to a fairy the world has seen in thousands of years. He is not a true fairy, so he can't use magic like them, but his mana is far more powerful than any human she has ever met. Ray spends a few days with her, but then Coatl senses that something is wrong. Worried, Ray decides to go back to the Satyrs and Diana, and Coatl gives him her titan ring so she can come to his aid if he ever needed her.

The final fight is starting. The Choten is gearing up to use the elders to pull in the rebellion leaders and Masters. When the Masters and the last few Guard members go to face off with the Choten, the Choten surprises them and uses the evo serum on Kura Kitsune and Beowolf, and several other titans on their side. The titans all permanently evolve and struggle to keep control over themselves, and at that time the Choten Attacks. The Rebellion leaders can't help as the choten is holding the elders, and the Duel Masters are immediately outnumbered and out classed. Maria reveals herself as a traitor then and rescues the masters and they all flee into the nature civ for now.

Raven wakes up in a fit, seeing visions of a five headed snake waking up from under ground. She hurries to go warn the masters that something terrible is about to happen

Now with everyone out of his way, the Choten orders the rebellion leaders to hand over the artifacts and then head to the null zone. From there, the choten directs them to pull out the monarchs from the null. The rebellion leaders do so and slowly the monarchs wake up. They all recognize the rebellion leaders, but are quickly taken control of by the Choten. Just as he is about to direct them to break the veil, the null zone shakes awake. Orochi, the five headed snake, breaks free from the null.

The Masters run into the Satyr village and meet Diana. The Guard is shocked to see her, but they quickly explain what has happened and just then Ray arrives back. Seeing his friends and family again shocks Ray's memories back. He is told about Mai's fate and he mourns her, but it's then that Raven arrives on Alexandria and tells them that something's happening in the null. Ray explains what Quetzalcoatl told him and Diana fears what his plans are for the elders. Orochi is so big that his cry can be heard all the way from the Satyr village. Unicorn arrives and everyone can tell her blood is boiling. She looks upon Kimora and gives him her blessing, an arm that bears thorns, then rallies the hybrids of nature to come fight by her side.

The masters plan to strike the Choten hard, fast, and chaotically. All hybrids would be hard to control because they need two artifacts to take them over, so the masters summon what they can and head off to fight. Nadia gives Ray Mai's condensed mana, and ray uses it to hide his sword in. There is no holding back this time, the battle has to end here. Allie and Gave are elated to have Ray back, but even they can see he's changed. He's more stoic and calmer, and as they head off to battle he summons Quetzalcoatl and fills her in. Coatl informs him that Orochi has awoken, and that the five headed snake only desires destruction and is uncontrollable. They decide to distract Orochi first while the masters try to get the artifacts, because as soon as the monarchs were free of the artifacts they would help take on Orochi. The final battle begins.

Allie and Gabe accompany the masters to fight the Choten. Wade and Nadia take out John and Samson together while Chavez bests Tierra and Allie transforms and faces off with the Choten. The Choten tries to take control of Allie, but she uses her human nature to fight back and hold him hostage while Gabe took the artifacts back. Once the monarchs were free, they awoke from their stupor and immediately lunged for Orochi.

It's a long and grueling fight, but finally, with everyone- the masters, monarchs, rebellion leaders, and creature hybrids working together, they defeat Orochi, but the veil has taken too much stress and begins to crumble. The monarchs know this will being the human kaiju wars again, but don't trust the duel masters enough to stop it. Ray tells the group the truth about the veil creation spell and that it was meant for the original masters to die, and the five masters decide together that they would gladly sacrifice themselves to save the world. They show their markings to the monarchs, who accept them now they know the elders vouch for them (Sasha vouches for Isao) There is a tearful goodbye between everyone. Jaha asks Allie to take over as liaison of darkness until she can be properly given the title, Nadia gives Wade the title of Water master, Hector names Maria fire Master, Kimora gives Ken title of Nature master, Isao makes Gabe the liaison of light until another master can be chosen. Given his fairy-like mana, Ray guides the masters on how to do the true spell, and he along with the five masters are turned to stone.

Ray wakes up in a world of light. There he meets Gemini, the fairy and elder of light. She congratulates him on awakening her, and Ray asks if he's dead. Gemini explains it was never the fairies intentions to allow the original masters to die after the spell. The fairies always meant to revive them, but in order for the spell to work correctly, the masters needed to make the ultimate sacrifice for all of creature and man kind. She the other masters awaken and appear around him, and Gemini looks between him, Nadia, and Chavez and says "Yes, it is time. Fairies shall be born unto this world yet again. And with them shall come peace." Gemini gifts ray and Isao a heart that is true, and sends them back.

The others are deeply grieving the loss of the masters and ray, but suddenly there is a flash of light and the statues of their friends turn to flesh yet again. Everyone is elated. The veil creation spell took a number out of the monarchs as well, and the rebellion leaders take their chance and retake the artifacts before breaking them in front of the monarchs. The monarchs are forced to step down from their thrones, and the rebellion leaders become the new monarchs.

Epilogue

It is a hundred years in the future, following Milo Pierce-Okamoto as he and his best friends Lila and Joe take their entrance test into the Kaijudo order. There, they meet the duel masters, one of which being Allison Underhill. Allie is living happily in the temple along with her spouse Hero, and when Milo and his friends pass their test, she tells them they might try out for the Guard once they become adults, and the Guard is led by Yelena Chavez, Fairy of water, and her sister, Sofia Chavez, fairy of fire. During Allie's tour of the temple, they see statues of the five masters that saved the world, and then of Ray and Gabe. There is a girl looking up at the statue of Gabe, and she is very obviously a human light creature hybrid. As they are walking, they see Milo's grandmother as well, who was a very powerful guard member and fairy of light. Milo asks why she is here, and her grandmother explains she likes to visit the statues of her ancestors, pointing at the statue of Ray. She sighs, saying that his wife, Raven, had fought the idea of a statue until she had died because Ray never wanted one, but even Allie was eventually outnumbered by the other duel masters. She gives Milo a tablet right as they go off to being their first day of training, saying she was fulfilling a promise to an old friend. The tablet is of Tatsurion the Unchained.

End

Episode 21.5 v2

The Choten is attempting to implant a gauntlet directly into the mana lines in the human body based on an experiment he did years ago, but all of his files were at the temple. He sends a small team to raid the temple library but they find nothing.

He then realizes that the only other person who knew about the experiment was his former student who happens to have a photographic memory. He sends out a team to kidnap her so he can retrieve the information and use it to his own ends.

Nadia was out in the field when she was jumped. Allie was the only one to go with her as the other masters and acolytes were busy with other breaches. Since they didn't want to leave any witnesses, the Choten's goons took Allie as well.

Neither knew why they were being kidnapped so Nadia fought hard and ended up losing her left boot in the struggle after kicking some guy in the face to try and get away. He hit her back with the shoe, giving her a small cut on the forehead before throwing it in a nearby bush.

Allie found herself a lot more scared that she thought she might be in such a situation and found herself keeping close to Nadia, and Nadia began to do everything she could in order to keep everyone from touching or getting close to her.

They were thrown into a small room with two small beds a joint bathroom. Nadia guessed it was an employee's room that they turned into a jail for the two, telling her that they planned to keep them for a while. Allie began to silently cry out of fear and Nadia comforted her, promising to keep her safe.

Ray Gabe and Chavez go to Nadia and Allie's last know location after they didn't return the night before

They find the boot, realize what's happened and all freak out.

The choten first tries to beat the info out of Nadia, then try to take out the memories forcefully, but they find that Nadia erased her own memories of the incident and the Choten is enraged. He threatens Allie in order to get Nadia to tell him what she did with the memories, and Nadia confesses that she doesn't know that either.

The Choten is just about to kill Nadia when Ray, Gave, and Chavez arrive. They knew the Choten always had seneschal at his side, so they summoned him using one of the tech gauntlets, fought their way to Nadia and Allie, and used Gillaflame to banish back to safety.

Optimism

Benjrou Kimora has had a rough life, but his unshakable optimism has helped him through it.

His mother who did her best to defend him and keep him happy did the only thing she could. She took him to the temple to learn Kaijudo.

Kimora is hesitant to learn and is picked on by the other acolytes. He befriends an older Adept named Joe and she helps him get stronger.

He develops a crush on Joe, but knows she likes someone else.

Joe and Kimora grow up together and become a strong team as young adults. When Takahashi goes missing, both Kimora, Joe, and the man Joe likes named Dan all step up for the position.

Kimora overhears Joe admit her feelings to Dan, but dan says he would only date her if she left Kimora. She refuses to leave her friend, but Dan tells her that he is worthless

Dan suggests a challenge in the nature realm to choose who will be the nature master.

Kimora and Joe know that it is really up to the masters to decide that, but play along to keep him safe.

Kimora quickly realized that this challenge was made specifically to weed him out. Joe and Dan easily complete the challenge, but Kimora struggles to get through.

Joe is angry that Dan would set him up to fail, but Dan doesn't have time to respond, a creature attacks the three and injures Joe. Kimora saves her and carries her back to the temple for help.

Kimora is named duel master because of how he acted during the crisis and for saving Joe.

Joe congratulates Kimora and apologizes for following Dan. Kimora dismisses it, saying if they hadn't gone, Dan would be dead.

Years later, Joe and Kimora were fighting a creature when Joe was mortally wounded.

Kimora tires to help her, but she stops him.

She admits to having feelings for Kimora deeper than friendship, and Kimora admits the same thing.

Joe laughs, saying that if they were just a bit faster, Kimora wouldn't be duel master and she would be with him.

The two share a kiss just as Joe slips away in his arms.

(In actuality, they were fighting the choten and once Joe died, Nadia wiped his memory with a cyber virus.)

Kimora attends her funeral along with Dan, who blames him for her death. He remembers her words and begins to believe him.

Out of desperation, he goes to the only other person who could comfort him.

His mother reminds him of how sweet and loving Joe was, insisting that she would never think something so mean.

Kimora realizes she is right and asks what he should do now.

His mother smiles and says to stay optimistic. Find the good in the bad. And never let anyone bring you down.

On the anniversary of Joe's death, almost 10 years later, Kimora grows some of her favorite flowers in his garden. He is very particular about them and the three kids notice the change in his attitude. He then cuts ten of the flowers and leaves the temple. The kids, thinking that Kimora has a secret girlfriend, follow him and are surprised to end up at a grave yard. Kimora knew they were following him and tells them about Joe

Chavez backstory

Hector has always had a problem with authority. He can't stand it when anyone tells him what to do, and will fight just about anyone. The only person he ever listens to is his beloved older sister, Celeste. The only reason he listens to his father and teachers is because Cele told him to. Other than that , he is a pretty good kid.

One day, Celeste takes him to her Kaijudo class and he is admitted into the special class.

Hector tries to act tough when the outpost specialist tries to correct him, but is soundly put in his place.

After several months, Hector's behavior improves and Celeste announces that she is moving to America to go to college for painting.

Hector is sad she is leaving, but promises to keep his head up and help their father and grandparents take care of their two younger siblings.

Two years later, they receive news that Celeste has gone missing.

Hector is devastated and the entire family refuses to even consider if she is dead.

After several months of saving up, the family saves enough to move to San Campion, America.

While wandering the streets, Hector finds a familiar dojo and enters. There, he meets Master Hawkins and asks for special lessons.

Hawkins understands and takes him to the temple where he meets Kimora and Joe, and is given a tour by Nadia.

After a while, he asks the masters if they knew his sister, Celeste. The masters grow quiet. They did know her.

Celeste came to America to come to the temple as well as to a better school. She was loved by all of the acolytes and went missing a few months ago after she ranted that someone was abusing the creatures.

She vowed to get to the bottom of it and disappeared.

Hector is sad that they don't know, but reassured they do know her.

He continues to train at the temple and stumbles upon Gillaflame's tablet by chance

He becomes fond of Gillaflame and uses him more and more.

He continues his search for Celeste and is home less and less.

His younger siblings are greatly annoyed at this and his father needs his help with bills, but Hector reverts to his old ways and refuses to listen.

Hector finally gets a lead from Joe and crosses the veil. He follows a map he stole from the library and comes across a strange gravestone with a skeleton half buried under dirt and moss

He finds a book next to the grave and begins to read it. To his own horror, he realizes it's Celeste's and in the pages of her sketch book, she wrote her final thoughts.

She wished her family well and that their little siblings would grow smart and kind

She wishes that her grandfather would beat his never ending cold and get better

She wishes her father would find someone new to love and not hang on their deceased mother for the rest of their lives

Finally, she wishes that her brother Hector would finally realize that duty and the respect you gain from doing what you must even when you don't want to or think you have better things to do is more precious than just doing whatever

She wishes that he will step up and help their father and siblings and that he will get better at Kaijudo

Hector buried the skeleton and returns home with the journal. He would rather his family have hope that Celeste is okay than be devastated by her death

Hector really steps up at home and at the temple. He comes to realize that he is happier helping others learn and decides to pursue teaching

Years later, master Hawkins steps down from his position as Duel Master and specially requests that Hector will be the next fire master

He does become the fire master

Years later, Hector is still struggling with Celeste's gruesome death and reads the journal in his Keep. Nadia finds him and asks him what is wrong. After a moment, he tells her everything. He has never told anyone what happened to Celeste, and Nadia is shocked. She knew Celeste for a little while, and while they weren't close, they were friends.

Nadia embraces Hector and he kisses her. He thanks her because she was hard on him even though others at the temple went easy on him knowing that his sister was presumed dead. She kept his head up and kept him from falling apart with the weight of his secret.

Brightmore

Nigel Brightmore hates breaking rules, but no one knows why.

Jaha sees his natural affiliation for light and order

Three other acolytes, Tierra, Ken, and August try to befriend him, but he is too dedicated, almost bordering on obsession about the rules and what they can or can't do

The fact that no one knew was that Brightmore's father was a war general who stuck to the rules like glue. He wished to whip his two sons into shape and have the same respect for the rules as him.

Nigel's older brother, Edmund, was less enthusiastic about the rules and often broke them, much to the annoyance of Nigel and their father.

Edmund and Nigel both stumble upon Kaijudo at the same time and are taken in as acolytes.

Edmund follows the rules of Kaijudo to a point, but does touch and interact with the creatures. Jaha, the darkness master takes notice of Edmund's natural affinity with dueling and takes him under her wing to refine his natural talents.

Nigel is furious that his brother is being praised for breaking the rules and works even harder to duel better than Edmund

Years pass and Edmund and Nigel are full adults. Tierra, August, and Ken have finally befriended Nigel and the four are a powerful team.

Edmund has grown reclusive and the two brothers hardly speak

One day, Edmund goes missing and Nigel gets worried

He enlists his friends and they go looking for Edmund.

They find him in a small hut in the null zone of the Kaiju realm

Nigel reprimands Edmund about running away, but Edmund says that he doesn't want to live in the human world anymore. That the human world is too angry and full of hate and restrictions for someone as weak as him

Nigel asks if the shadows have been whispering to him again, and he nods his head

After some convincing, they get Edmund to return with them

Years later, Nigel Tierra August and Ken have become duel masters. They all believe Edmund will join them when Jaha passes, but tragedy strikes

Edmund summons Ra-Vu, seeker of lightning and is killed by him after trying to touch him.

Nigel is devastated and as a sort of revenge, makes Ra-Vu his primary creature, enslaving him in a way so he can have a slight sense of justice

Years later, a thug who found a gauntlet is in a fight with Nigel and Ra-Vu. The thug touches the sky force champion and is electrocuted and killed instantly

Nigel realizes that it wasn't the creatures fault that Edmund died, it was his brothers fault. He didn't follow the rules, and was killed because of it.

Jaha

Jaha's commitment to the order knows no bounds. She fights for them, learns all she can to help with research, and is even willing to kill to keep the order safe. One day, she meets a darkness creature who is different than the others. He is kind and thoughtful, and an obvious trap. Out of curiosity, though, Jaha continues to see him and eventually meets his elder sister, Megaria. Jaha soon finds that he was being sincere with his kindness and was trying to keep Jaha away from Megaria.

Now, she is caught between a rock and a hard place. Leave and loose her friend forever, or stay and be with him for one more day.

Ubel is Megaria's brother and secret lover of Jaha

Beginning

Jo Hannah is already an Adept at the beginning. 17 years old. She is advanced in spells for her age and is being specially mentored by the Darkness Master Vladimir

As a personal test of strength, she summons Megaria the Collector. Megaria is appalled that a human forced her through the veil, yet intrigued by her abilities to force creatures to do as she pleases.

Megaria and Jo quickly find common ground with spells and Megaria offers to teach her spells in exchange for her being a personal creature summoner

Their partnership works fine for a while, but then Megaria's brother, Ubel returns from conquering another territory for his sister.

Ubel falls for Jo, but Jo is appalled. She has no feelings for him and can't stand the idea of herself being with a creature.

Megaria begins to become more cruel to Jo and Jo tries to back out of their agreement, but ends up getting hurt by Megaria. Ubel cares for her and warns her not to try that again.

Ubel says he isn't as strong as his sister, but he will do everything he can to keep her safe. Jo says that she won't come back, but Ubel convinces her that she would just invade the human realm to kidnap her.

As the months pass, Jo Hannah spends more time around Ubel and begins to care for him. They support each other under Megaria's rule. Ubel makes good on his promise of defending Jo when Megaira looses her temper. Ubel jumps in the way of Megaria's blow and dies

… idk what happens after that that's the end of my notes

So as you can see, I had a lot of plans for Kaijudo, but given how long it's been since the show ended and how old a lot of these drafts/stories are, I really don't have the energy or memory to finish all of this off. I still didn't want to just abandon things and leave everything open ended, but this story is no longer fun for me to write. Thank you all for staying around and if anyone has any questions I'll try and answer them as best I can in reviews or wherever I can answer them. (I'm on tumblr and deviantart under the same name if you don't have an ff account.)

Well, I guess this is it.

Thank you all for reading.
