"What about this one?" Midoriya asked while holding up an illustrated flashcard towards his girlfriend.

"Spinosaurus. From the 'Late Cretaceous Period'." The 'lizard tail splitter' user said without even the slightest hesitation.

"And this?"

"Dilophosaurus, early Jurassic."

"How about this one?"

"Kentrosaurus, late Jurassic."

"Wow." Midoriya said with a grin. "You really are an expert on this stuff."

"Of course I am!" Tokage said with a smug grin. "I've been studying dinosaurs ever since I was a kid. You'd have a hard time finding anybody who can outclass me when it comes to good ol' dino-knowledge."

As per the usual routine, the green haired couple were hanging out inside of Midoriya's room. Casually passing the time with some mild entertainment before it was time for them to go to bed. It was Sunday night. And after a nice and relaxing weekend, the duo thought that it would best to spend their remaining free time with one another. Engaging in a bit of tasteful fun in between their thirty minute long make out sessions. Not unlike their usual routine throughout the week.

"So, did you have fun being Fubuki's pack mule yesterday?" The girl then asked after taking a sip of her tea.

"I did actually." Midoriya replied with a smile. "We mostly just went shopping around the city and took some pictures with a few fans. After that we stopped by a dessert shop before it was time for me to come back. It was nice just being able to spend some time together."

"Glad to hear it. There's no way I'd be able to spend the entire day with nee-chan without wanting to pull my hair out. It must be nice having an older sibling that you actually get along with." The girl said jokingly.

"How's Nanao-san doing anyway?"

"Same old, same old. Last time I checked she was still trying to get into Brain-Boy's pants. But failing miserably."

"Is it bad that I'm kinda worried about Unohana-san? Your sister can be quite a handful to deal with."

It had been a couple of weeks since the last time Midoriya checked up on his old friend. He knew the pink eyed quirkless teen was working hard on that new project of his. And he was genuinely curious about how he was doing. Although he had no clue what college life was like. He was hoping that the boy was doing well and making friends. But from what Tokage had told him, it looked like that was the least of his worries.

"He'll be fine." The girl shrugged. "If he hasn't folded already, then it's probably not going to happen anytime soon."

"Good point."

A couple of minutes passed by before the two finally decided to put the flashcards away. And naturally, Tokage was quick to jump at the chance to engage in a bit of cuddling with her boyfriend. With a practiced eased, the girl wrapped herself around the boy. Interlocking their legs together a tangled mess of blue and black sweatpants. Midoriya had long since learned to just let his girlfriend do as she pleased when she was in the mood to fool around. Not that he minded. But the feeling of having her close to him sent a pleasant warmth throughout his body.

"Oh yeah, your birthday is coming up pretty soon, huh?" Midoriya then asked as the boy grasped her hand underneath his.

"Sure is!" The girl looked up at him. "Why? You got something special that you're planning?"

"No comment." The 'telekinesis' user gave her a slight smirk. One that told Tokage that he definitely had something up his sleeve.

"I'm still kinda mad that you didn't tell me that your birthday was in July. We could've gone out on a date or something to celebrate."

"I didn't really think it was that big of a deal. I've never really celebrated my birthday before. So it was just another day to me."

"Seriously?"

"Yeah." He nodded. "No point in throwing a party or anything when no one was going to show up."

Tokage couldn't help but feel a bit sad after hearing that. Of course she was already well aware of how rough Midoriya had it growing up. And that fact that he had gone over a decade without doing something as normal as throwing a birthday party did leave a sour taste in her mouth. From what he's told her before, the closest he ever got was the people at the orphanage making him a cake last year when he went over to volunteer that day. As his girlfriend, she felt like it was her duty to make sure he had at least one awesome birthday celebration. But it looked like she was going to have to wait at least until next summer to make that happen.

"Well, that's all in the past now."

"Yeah...I guess it is."

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing, it's just..." The green haired boy paused for a moment before continuing. "I guess I'm still having a hard time adjusting is all. Not too long ago I was just the quirkless kid who no one wanted to have anything to do with. Now I actually have friends who want to spend time with me. Don't take this wrong way. But I'm pretty sure that if I never got my quirk, I wouldn-"

"Nope, I don't want to hear it!" She cut him off by placing a floating finger over his lips.

"Huh?"

"You were about to say something about how now having a quirk made people actually want to pay attention to you. And I disagree! I'm certain that even if you didn't have a quirk that we'd all still like you just as much." Tokage said in a sincere tone with a toothy smirk. "I know I would. Metalhead sure as hell wouldn't think any differently of you. And I'm sure that everyone else feels the same way."

Something inside of Midoriya wanted to argue against his girlfriend's words. But to be honest, he had a hard time convincing himself that she was lying. He had already seen first hand that the girl in no way harbored any negative feelings towards those unfortunate enough to be born without a quirk. Neither did her family based on how hard her sister was actively trying to seduce Unohana every chance she got. And all of his classmates were really nice to the kids from the orphanage during the Cultural Festival.

It honestly made him happy though. He still had a few lingering feelings about the subject that weren't exactly healthy for him. Most of which were routinely addressed during his weekly counseling sessions. But as opposed to the start of the school year, he was more confident nowadays that his classmates actually liked him for him. Not just because of his newfound power. Which was a far cry away from how his life had gone up until last year.

"Y'know, it really makes me happy to hear you say that." Midoriya gave the girl an honest smile. One that was pure enough to force a slight bit of redness on the girl's cheeks.

'Who hell taught him how to smile like that? He can't just do that to me out of blue. Is he trying to seduce me or something? Actually...that wouldn't really be a bad idea, now would it?'

After a brief moment of silence, Tokage took a peek over to her neon blue stegosaurus themed alarm clock and saw that it was time for them to go to sleep. Much to her own annoyance. She quickly detached her left hand from her arm and floated it over to the opposite side of the room to turn off the lights before recalling it.

Although the girl had half a mind to engage in a bit of pre-bedtime shenanigans. The responsible side of her brain said that it wasn't a good idea since they needed to be well rested for class in the morning. So she simply opted to just enjoy the feeling of being close to the boy. And made sure to snuggle up and get cozy before the young couple drifted off into dreamland.

The following afternoon, the green haired couple were making their way through the halls of U.A. en route to their destinations. Classes had just ended for the day and they both had places that they needed to be.

"So you have another session with Hound Dog-sensei today? I thought that was only on Thursdays?" Tokage asked in a curious tone.

"Mhmm." Midoriya nodded. "We had to switch around the schedule a bit. But we found the time to do it today. What about you? You have your first meeting with Recovery Girl, right?"

"Sure do!" The 'lizard tail splitter' user gave him a toothy grin. "Aunt Nemu was able to do me a favor and convinced Recovery Girl to talk to me about doing an EMT course sometime later on. Apparently, I'll have to wait until our second year before I can actually do one though. But I also get the chance to ask her a few questions about ways to improve the regeneration factor of my quirk."

Ever since the 'Derelicta' raid, Tokage was dead set on learning all that she could to improve on her chances of becoming a great rescue hero in the future. Since they were still in their first year of school, most of their training was centered around learning how to handle their quirks in a fight. But based on what she knew, their second year was going to be when most of their rescue based training would take place. And after what happened to Ozehana, she never wanted to feel as useless as she did ever again.

There was also the added benefit of seeing if there were any tricks she could learn from the "Healing Heroine" on how to increase her regeneration speed. Tokage had been playing around with different ways of forcibly speeding up the rate at which her limbs grew back. But all of her attempts so far would just leave her exhausted and nauseous.

"Alright, well this is my hall." The girl said as she pointed in the direction where Recovery Girl's office was located. "I got something I need to do after this. So I'll text you after I get back."

"No problem. See you later."

After a quick hug and peck on the lips, the two greenettes parted ways to go handle their business.

-(o)-

~An hour and a half later.~

After leaving Hound Dog's office, Midoriya made a beeline before the exit. Today was a particularly good session for him. And the school's resident guidance counselor told him that he was making great progress when it came to dealing with his still lingering issues.

Of course, he still had a long way to go in terms where his head was at. After all, it would take a long time to undo the damage that came from dealing with depression and physical abuse for the better part of ten years. But now that he was in a marginally better place than he was a couple of years ago, Midoriya was confident that he would continue to improve.

But now that he had all that out the way, it was time for the 'telekinesis' user to head back to his room and relax before cracking open his textbooks and begin studying.

Just as the boy turned the corner onto the next hall, he narrowly avoided running into another person before sidestepping the unknown individual. Luckily, he managed to prevent himself from colliding with them or anything that they might have been carrying.

"Sorry about that." The boy gave a quick bow before finally lifting his gaze. Only for his heart to freeze upon finally seeing who it was that he was talking to. "All Might..."

"Young Midoriya?" The tall blonde said with a notable hint of surprise in his voice.

"S-sorry sir, I didn't mean to bother you. I'll just be-"

"Wait!" The former number one hero said just before the boy could get away. "Actually, I was hoping to run into you sometime soon. Do you...have a moment to talk?"

"To talk?" The 'telekinesis' user said with a quirked eyebrow.

"Yes." The emaciated blonde confirmed. "To be honest, the two of us are long overdue for a conversation. But now seems as good a time as any to get it over with."

Every cell in his body was telling Midoriya to immediately deny his teacher's request. And he might've done so on any other day. Maybe it was just because he had a good therapy session today. But something in the back of the greenette's mind told him that avoiding this inevitable conversation wasn't going to do him any good. If anything, getting it out of the way now was probably the more sensible option.

So against his better judgment, Midoriya decided to humor his former idol's request. "Yeah...I think that we should…."

It only took a couple of minutes for the two to enter Yagi's private office. Although the walk was relatively short, anyone who just so happened to pass by them wouldn't have missed the unease plastered all over either of their faces.

After shutting the door, the former hero took a seat behind his desk while the young man sat in the chair directly across from him. The two of them proceeded to sit in silence for a short moment while simply looking at each other. And to say that you could cut the tension in the room with a butter knife would be putting it mildly. Even now, the 'telekinesis' user could feel something unpleasant welling up inside of his chest at the fact that he was in the same room as the man.

"So...what did you need to discuss with me, All Might-sensei?" Midoriya was the first to speak. Hoping to finally get this conversation started.

Yagi seemed to hesitate for a moment as he tried to find the right words to voice his thoughts. Now that he was actually here, he found it more difficult to convey his intentions that he had originally planned. Thankfully, it only took him a few seconds to get himself in order.

"Listen, young Midoriya..." Were the first words out of the former number one hero's mouth. "Although there's a great many things that we should talk about, I think it's best that we clear the air between us. Especially after all that's happened."

"What do you mean?"

Yagi began to nervously shift in his seat. An action not many people would think that the former 'Symbol of Peace' was capable of. He had gone over this entire conversation in his head at least a dozen times. But for some reason, now that he was actually sitting face-to-face with the boy, it was difficult for him to say what he wanted to. To be fair, Yagi had never been in a situation like this. All those years of being a top hero never trained him for a conversation as awkward as this one.

"Oh...you mean the time that you told me to give up on life just because I didn't have a quirk?" Was how Midoriya chose to say it. Even though he didn't show it, there was definitely a bit of venom to his words.

"Young Midoriya, surely you know that's not what I said! All for One-"

"Look…I know that All for One altered my memories after I met him. And that our conversion that day didn't exactly go like how I remember it." The boy cut him off. "He admitted it to me himself after I was kidnapped by the 'League of Villains'. But something tells me that what happened that day wasn't that much different from the truth."

"Young Midoriya, I would never say such despicable things like that to a young man such as yourself. It would go against everything that I stand for. What kind of person would I be to do such a thing?"

"The same person that arranged for Togata-senpai to fight me during our training session. Just to make sure that he could handle me in case I ever became a threat again."

Those words were more than enough to make Toshinori Yagi freeze up like a block of ice. Midoriya knew? But how? The only people that knew about the true purpose of changing their training schedule were those who knew about 'One for All'.

"How-"

"I ran into Togata-senpai after I got back to the school on Saturday." Midoriya was quick to explain. "He told me everything and apologized that our training was ruined on account of you guys being wary of me. Well, he did say that it was mostly Nighteye's idea. But that doesn't really make a difference to me."

'I'll need to have a talk with Mirio after I'm done here.' The emaciated blonde told himself. "Young Midoriya. Please, I need you to know that-"

"That you believe that I'm still a threat since I'm very much connected to All for One. Enough of one to keep tabs on me just in case his brainwashing came back and I attacked someone."

Hoping to gain some type of control on this situation, Yagi didn't hesitate to say what he needed to before the boy could continue. But now that he was here, there was no use in trying to deflect from what the boy already knew. "Young Midoriya, I'm not going to lie to you. Yes, I had Mirio use his connection to young Hadou to keep an eye on you just in case something bad happened. And yes, I went along with Nighteye's plan to make sure that Mirio could deal with your quirk if the worst case scenario happened. But I only did that just to placate his fears."

"I see." The boy said in a chilling tone.

"I apologize for doing all of that to you. That being said, I didn't ask you to come to hear to talk about that." Yagi continued.

"So what exactly do you want to talk about?"

"I wanted to apologize for what happened that day on the rooftop." The man blonde stated. "Although I can't imagine what you might have gone through before that. I do know that my words were very damaging to you. And for that, I'm truly sorry."

Midoriya took a moment to absorb what the man had said. A thought seemed to cross his mind before his face returned to the almost disinterested state that was in a few seconds ago. "Is that all?"

"What?"

"Is that all?"

"Young Midoriya..."

"Don't take this the wrong way, sensei. And I apologize in advance for sounding rude. But...I don't need your apology."

"What do you mean?"

Before he chose to respond, Midoriya let out a heavy sigh. "I don't need your apology because I know that it isn't sincere."

Okay, that was something that Yagi wasn't expecting to hear. "And why do you think it's not?"

The atmosphere of the room shifted once again. Growing more and more intense as the seconds went by.

"Tell me something, do you honestly think that you were trying to help me by telling me what you did?"

"Yes, I did." The man answered with no hesitation. "I believe that what I told you about not being able to become a hero without a quirk was true. In this day and age, it's too dangerous for someone without a quirk to do battle against villains. I only said what I did because encouraging you to become a hero wouldn't have been irresponsible on my part. Or so I thought at the time."

"Then what about Sir Nighteye?" The boy then questioned. "His quirk allows him to see into a person's future once a day, right? It's hardly a power that can be used in battle unless you know exactly who you're going to be fighting. And he was good enough to become your sidekick."

Simply put, Yagi didn't have a response for that since what Midoriya said was effectively the truth. Sure, Nighteye's quirk was a tremendous power, but it was hardly useful in terms of combat unless strict conditions were met. Even then, the former 'foresight' user had to train his body to near Olympic athlete levels to be able to keep up with the demands that came with being a hero.

"How could say that someone without a quirk can't become a hero when your own sidekick was nothing more than a normal person when he already used up his quirk? That's kind of hypocritical don't you think? Y'know, there's a lot more to being a hero than fighting villains. Even you should know that. But...I guess the only thing that matters to the strongest man alive is how hard you can punch something."

"Now wait a second! I never said anything of the sort." The man argued.

"But that's what you were thinking back then, right?!" The boy shot back with an equal amount of energy. "That's why you thought it was a good idea to tell a scrawny, quirkless boy that he might as well give up on his dream, right?! Because he couldn't handle himself in a fight. I get that you were just trying to be responsible. But do you have any idea how much it hurt to hear something like that from you! You, the person who's said hundreds of times to the entire world that anyone could be a hero if they put their mind to it?!"

In that moment, Yagi felt the tension around the two of them elevate. It was like the very atmosphere of the room itself had changed in an instant. But that wasn't the thing that shocked him the most. Never at any point had Yagi ever seen Midoriya snap so quickly. The boy was almost always relatively calm and level headed. But it seemed like his entire personality just shifted in the blink of an eye.

"Tell me, did you even think about what I might've done after you left? You shattered my dream into a million pieces, told me that I was obsolete in society and then quite literally shut the door in my face! Do you have any idea what that did to me? Did you even take a second to think about how much weight your words as the number one hero had on someone like me?"

"Young Midoriya, calm down! I never said-"

"I am calm!"

The moment those words came out of the boy's mouth, Yagi finally realized what exactly felt so off to him. All around the two of them, various objects including the small table on the opposite side of the room were beginning to levitate. Not only that, but there was a slight breeze in the room that by all rights shouldn't have been there. Once he set his sight back onto the boy, Yagi caught something that made him pause. Which was the look on Midoriya's face. The best way he could describe it was a mixture between anger and pure annoyance.

Actually, now that he thought about it. There was only person he could remember ever pulling off a look like that. And that person was...

'Tornado?' The man wondered.

Unbeknownst to either Yagi or Midoriya, this sudden emotional outburst was a byproduct of Tatsumaki's personality leaking out of the boy. More than likely as a response to the intense feelings caused by being in the same room as his former idol. It was the first time that something like this ever happened. So no one could blame him for not noticing it sooner. But the fact that it was happening wasn't a good sign for either of them.

"But you know what really makes me mad? Togata-senpai admitted that you were keeping tabs on me for most of the year!"

Okay, now this was starting to get ridiculous. Just how much information did Togata tell the boy?

"I get it, you had a hunch that one of your students was connected to your enemy. I guess anyone in that position would take the necessary precautions. But that still doesn't make me feel any better! Do you know how horrible it feels learning that your own teacher suspects of you being a villain and sending people to spy on you. Like how you did with Gran Torino."

"Young Midoriya, listen. I understand how you feel. What I did to you was wrong. And allowing the others to invade your privacy like that was irresponsible. But you have to understand my point of view. We couldn't allow anything concerning All for One to go unchecked."

"I know, but I don't care!" Midoriya was now out of his chair and on his feet. Slightly hovering above the ground. "And you want to know the worst part about all of it? It's that you were right! Not only were you right about me having no chance of becoming a hero without a quirk. You were right about me being nothing more than a pawn working for All for One. Even it was against my own will."

Toshinori Yagi was well aware by now that this conversation had already gone out of his control. What was supposed to be a healthy talk between them to clear the air was now a full on venting session for the green haired teen. One that Yagi knew that he couldn't stop without making him even angrier than he was now. The best he could do at this moment was to let Midoriya just get it out of his system before trying to talk him down.

"Y'know…I used to look up to. A lot." The green haired boy then said as he regained the blonde's focus. "I even had your posters and merchandise all over my room. I wanted to be just like you. Or the image that you pieced together for the public. A hero that's always smiling and makes others around him feel safe. Someone who always saves the day and never knew defeat."

Even now, Yagi could feel that there was a lot of weight behind Midoriya's words. Actually, the fact that he just admitted to being a fan of his was a particularly hard pill to swallow.

"But I realized something after that day. You are nowhere near that kind of person in real life. You're just someone who was blessed with awesome power and did nothing more than punch your way through all your problems. And after hearing what you said to me, it made a lot of things clear."

"Like what?" Yagi was genuinely curious to know where the boy was going with this.

"That people born with power will never understand what it's like to be powerless. They'll never understand what it's like to have your entire existence questioned just because they weren't born with an awesome quirk like you were. And with you at the top of the food chain, it just gives people all the more reason to flex their power over others. All while they hope to be just like you."

Unfortunately for Yagi, he too knew what that felt like. Although quirklessness was more common in his generation than it was for Midoriya's he knew what it felt like to be kicked down by society. To be honest, he genuinely felt like admitting that to Midoriya would placate some of the boy's anger. But he couldn't risk letting out the secret of 'One for All' like that.

"Listen, young Midoriya." The man finally spoke up. "I'm not going to pretend that I know what your situation was like before All for One came into contact with you. But don't you think that you're making a lot of wrong assumptions about me?"

"What's wrong about them? I followed your career as far back as I could remember. You were a star student at U.A.. You made your mark in the U.S. before you even graduated. And you became the number one hero in less than a year. You've been at the top from day one."

"And I only made it that far because I worked hard to achieve that." The blonde man countered.

"I know you did! But that doesn't make what you did to me any less terrible. Tell me...how many other kid's dreams did you shatter before me? I doubt that I was the first. Or do you not even remember them too?! How many people asked you the same question only to get the response that you gave me? How many quirkless people did you put down and tell them that they might as well give up on life because they were powerless? I doubt someone like you could understand what it's like to feel so helpless in a world that values power over everything."

The former 'One for All' wielder took a moment to think about what the boy just said. As far as he could remember, Midoriya was the only one that he ever explicitly told to give up on his dream of being a hero. Many children had asked him the same question. But all of them received the same generic answer that he was used to giving. That anyone could be a hero if they tried.

"You were the only one." The man admitted with a bit of shame in his voice.

"Of course I was." Midoriya clenched his fist. Letting his emotions completely get the better of his judgment. "I guess that I was the only quirkless person dumb enough to ask you such a stupid question. But a part of me believed that hearing what I wanted to from you would at least make my dream at least somewhat valid."

A pregnant silence followed. One that did nothing to ease the tension in the room by any means. Midoriya was still hovering above the ground. Along with even more objects in the immediate area.

"Look...I'm not going to say something messed up like you ruined my life. To be honest, it was already pretty terrible by that point. But hearing what you said was pretty much the nail in the coffin for me. I guess the only real positive thing that came out of it was that it led to me running into All for One. As much as I hate to say it, meeting him was probably the best thing to ever happen to me."

Now that hurts. For Yagi, hearing one of his own students say that encountering his greatest enemy was a blessing really drove a metaphorical knife into his chest. One that he had no right to deny since what the boy was saying was essentially the truth. Although he didn't know all the details about what happened between the two of them. Yagi knew deep down that if he was in Midoriya's position, he would've been more than willing to make a deal with the devil.

"You're absolutely right. If it wasn't for my foolish actions that day, you would've never been forced to turn to that man for help."

"You know-"

"Before you say anything else!" Now it was Yagi's turn to cut him off. "Just know that I truly regret what I said to you that day. I've spent all these years calling myself a hero. But when it came to you, I failed in my duties. All Might is someone who was supposed to inspire everyone around him to be a good person and help those who are in need. But when it came down to it, I couldn't even do that much."

What made this whole situation worse was that Midoriya was confirming pretty much everything that All for One told the former number one hero back in Tartarus. There were very few times in his life where Yagi had his own mistakes thrown in his face. And this was one of them.

Not only had he unintentionally pushed Midoriya over the edge. He allowed him to fall right into the hands of his mortal enemy. And then used that information against the boy with his suspicions of him being a villain in disguise. And to top it all off, All for One had more than enough chances to ruin the boy's life. Which he undoubtedly would've used as a weapon against the man who was supposed to be Japan's greatest hero.

Of course none of that was really Yagi's fault. It was just a matter of wrong place, wrong time at the end of the day. But it was in the blonde's nature to take the brunt of the blame onto himself. A bad habit that he developed in the early years of his career.

"It's not like your words will do me any good now." Midoriya said with a whisper.

It was only after he took a second to breathe did Midoriya's mind finally begin to catch up to what was happening.

What was he doing? Arguing with a teacher? And not just any teacher, All Might of all people. Did he completely lose his mind all of a sudden? What in the actual hell was he doing lashing out at the man like this? In the boy's defense, a lot of what he was saying wasn't exactly his fault. In actuality, what he was feeling was just as much of Tatsumaki's opinions as they were his own.

It was no secret that the former number four heroine didn't exactly have a high opinion of All Might. The green haired woman often told her younger sister how despite him doing a lot of good for the people of Japan, All Might blasting his way through one crisis after another just emboldened people to be the same way. And that once he did finally hang up his cape, everything would get crazy for the rest of the heroes who were left to pick up the pieces. Which some would say was hypocritical on her part. But there was a reason why she never voiced those thoughts publicly. And it wasn't just to avoid the hassle with the media.

Suddenly, Midoriya deactivated his quirk and allowed himself to return back to the Earth. And aside from a few pieces of furniture that fell from their original positions, everything in the room went back to normal.

Now that he had actually managed to calm himself down a bit, Midoriya was beginning to feel sick. Not just the mentally, but physically as well. The room was spinning and it felt like there was a hole in his stomach that was growing at a rapid pace. In his mind, he was liable to vomit at any moment. The boy knew very well that if he didn't leave right now, then he would probably get into even more trouble than what he already was.

"I…I apologize, sensei." Midoriya then bowed his head. "I s-shouldn't have said any of that."

"No…it's…it's fine, young Midoriya. To be honest, I deserved everything that you said to me." Yagi said to him. More than a bit relieved that the risk of being hit in the face by a stray coffee mug was now gone.

There was a long beat of uncomfortable silence before the green haired teen decided that now was as good a time as any to take his leave. He was still feeling very emotionally charged at the moment. But right now all he cared about was getting as far away from former idol as possible. So without any other words, the Midoriya grabbed his backpack and swiftly headed out the door. Not even giving the former number hero a chance to stop him.

-(o)-

A few minutes had passed after Midoriya decided to leave. And Yagi was left alone to think about what all just happened. To say that things could've gone a lot better would've been a gross understatement. Not only did the boy lash out at him out of nowhere. He didn't even have the chance to truly defend himself. In truth, the situation had gone off the rails before he could even try and stop it.

Yagi took a moment to clean up around the office before dropping down into his seat and letting the worry wash away from his body. What exactly was he supposed to do now? Trying to talk to the boy again after their little meeting would surely invite even more trouble. Just as he was beginning to let his mind wander on what his next course of action should be, the blonde haired man felt his phone vibrating in his pocket. Upon checking to see who it was, he quickly pressed the green button on his screen.

"Sir?"

"Toshinori-kun, how did your little chat with Midoriya-kun go? Not too well I presume?" Nezu's energetic and cheery voice said on the other side of the line.

"You knew?" Yagi asked the mammal of questionable origins.

"You should know by now that I have eyes and ears all over this campus, my friend. Of course I knew what you were doing."

Yagi proceeded to look around the room for any type of camera or listening device to see how exactly his boss could've eavesdropped on their conversation. But even for a seasoned pro, for the life of him he couldn't find anything.

"How much did you hear?" The former 'Symbol of Peace' questioned.

"All of it, naturally!" Nezu answered nonchalantly. "To be fair, I did tell you that this would happen if you tried to talk to Midoriya-kun before he was ready."

"I know, I just wanted to try and make things right between us."

"Just give the boy some time, Toshinori-kun. I'm sure that he'll sort his thoughts out eventually. And pestering him about it isn't going to change his opinions of you anytime soon."

"I hope so..."

"Now that you're done with your little talk, please come by my office as soon as you get the chance. There's something that I need to discuss with you concerning the upcoming pro license exams for the third year students. Also...I think that it would be a good idea to get Togata-kun in here as well."

"Yes, sir." Was all that Yagi said before standing up from his seat and making his way over to Nezu's office.

~Later That Evening~

Once she was done with her talk with Recovery Girl, Tokage was on her way over to the Class 1-A dorms. She was in a pretty good mood. Especially since her meeting with the "Healing Heroine" went a lot better than she had hoped. Not only did the elderly woman give her a ton of advice on how she could improve her regeneration abilities. She even agreed to consider co-signing her admittance into an EMT course during their second year. So long as she met a few prerequisites of course. Like taking an official CPR class.

Needless to say, Tokage was feeling pretty damn good about herself.

As for why the girl was making the journey over to the 1-A dorms, the answer was simple. She still hadn't gotten the chance to apologize to Yaoyorozu for what she said to her during their joint training session with Shiketsu last week. And she was determined to finally get that handled. Tokage had already made several attempts to talk to the girl over the weekend. But every time she tried, the 'creation' quirk user was either gone or unavailable.

But since today was Monday and none of the students were allowed to leave the campus, now would surely be her best chance to finally get this out of the way. And after she was done, all there was left to do was study and enjoy some alone time with her boyfriend.

It didn't take long before the green haired girl was at the door of the 1-A building. And with no time to waste, she walked right through the door.

"Tokage-san?" A voice coming from her right immediately caught the girl's attention. Of course she recognized who it was and turned her head to see none other than Fumikage Tokoyami standing in the kitchen. The 'dark shadow' user was only one in the lobby and was holding a bottle of soda in his hand.

"Birdman, what's up?" The girl greeted him with a friendly wave.

"Nothing in particular. If you don't mind me asking, what are you doing in our dorm?"

"I'm looking for Yaoyorozu." She answered. "You know which floor she's on?"

"I believe that she's on the fifth floor."

"Cool, thanks for the help!"

"No problem."

Suddenly and without warning, the green haired girl detached her head and floated it over to the bird headed teen."So...how have things between you and Ghosty been going? Y'all doing alright? Gone out on any dates lately?"

In an uncharacteristic moment of embarrassment, Tokoyami's cheeks reddened enough to a point where you could see his blush seeping through his feathers. "I'm s-sorry?"

"Eh, don't worry about it. Forget that I even asked." The girl backtracked before reattaching her head and walking towards the elevator. "Anyways, catch ya' later!"

-(o)-

Barely a minute later, Tokage was standing in front of Yaoyorozu's room. She could hear a bit of noise coming from beyond the door, which meant that the raven haired teen was definitely inside. So with no reason to delay the inevitable, the green haired girl knocked on the door.

"Just a second!" A prim and proper voice said only moments before the class-rep of 1-A opened her door. And the moment she did, the 'creation' quirk user's eyes briefly widened before her face scrunched up into what could only be described as a disapproving look. "What do you want...?"

A/N: Well...that could've gone a lot better, right? I never intended for the meeting between Midoriya and All Might to be a coherent and rational discussion. With his feelings towards him, in my opinion it only made sense for some of Tatsumaki to spill out in the middle of their talk. It was just a matter of how much of her "tsundere-ness" and bratty tendencies would come out. I could've made it a lot more chaotic and turned it into an all out shouting match, but that just didn't fit either Midoriya or All Might's characters. At the end of the day, it was just a really disastrous venting session for the boy to finally get some things off his chest. Obviously this will be addressed in the next chapter. But I felt like this was a good stopping point.

1. Next up, more drama! Now it's Tokage's turn to deal with the fallout of the mess that she made. How exactly it's going to go is anyone's guess. But I don't plan on jumping too far out the window on that one.

2. We'll probably be getting another look into how things are going for 1-A and the rest of our favorite groups soon. So for those who've been waiting on that, it's coming. That being said, are there any comic/anime/movie characters that you guys want to see make a guest appearance in the story? I already have a pretty big one that's been teased for quite a while -*cough* Caped Baldy *cough*- but I still need a few more people for that chapter.

Like always, thanks for reading and don't be afraid to leave a comment/review! I hope you all have a wonderful day.
