Hitomi Kanetsukabe was ecstatic to find she'd been admitted to UA's hero course. Her high school life was just beginning, and she'd soon find out she'd be getting more than she bargained for. 59. Hiatus Status Feb 2021 (Please Read)

Hi there. It's me again.

So this is for those who haven't been keeping up with me on Instagram. I know it's been more than a year since the hiatus for this fic started and for that, I apologize 😅 But don't worry! IPP is not abandoned!

So I've made the (really dumb, honestly) decision to go back and make new art for old chapters as well as do some minor edits and fixes. Every time I look back at the old chapters and see my typos I cringe ;-;

I understand this site does not allow the use of images, but I'm an art kid. I just like drawing too much XD

Some of the new art will be redraws, and some of them will be of different scenes entirely. The prologue will even be getting its own fully colored video animatic, so I hope you look forward to that. It'll have two parts but will be posted together as one video on my YouTube channel :D (I've finished the second part, currently working on the first one). The art that happens to be redraws WILL be replacing the old art, so if you happened to like any of those, you're free to save them. At some point, I will place them all into a folder in my over on DeviantArt, which you can ask me for as well if you want to. This fic will even be getting a brand new cover!

Along with this, the next arc is getting a MAJOR overhaul (lol pun haha). The stuff I wrote at 16 has got some major issues in my eyes, so I am once again reworking it and rewriting it for the... 4th time? I think? Lol. This time instead of fixing some scenes I'm making new ones entirely and trying to rewrite some old ones from scratch. I just want Bakugou and Hitomi to have a well-written relationship/romance because they've become such a huge comfort ship to me. This time I hope I can really be satisfied with it.

As you can guess, this is gonna take me a lot of time, especially with college going on right now (I've barely started my second semester and I'm already getting overwhelmed rip ;-;)

I'm really sorry to keep making you guys wait. I can't give a proper date for returning, because I don't want to give any false hope only to not meet it. It makes me really happy to know you guys enjoy this silly little fanfiction, so I hope you don't mind staying patient with me.

I'll see you all again when I'm ready. Hopefully the next time I update it'll be to announce that this fanfiction is coming back. I hope you'll still look forward to it then.
