A Stone Cold Case
"Well, Lisa," Jason said. "I guess we're off to JB's!"
"Great," Carmen exclaimed. "I sure could go for one of Chewie's famous mint Oreo milkshakes!"
"Make mine a triple thick vanilla milkshake!" Rafael agreed.
Jason shot both Carmen and Rafael a stern look.
"Hey, you two, do be serious!" Jason scolded Rafael and Carmen sharply.
"That's right, we'll need to ask Chewie if he has seen who abducted Selena," Lisa added. "not for sweets!"
Carmen looked at Lisa and Jason, "You guys are no fun." she pouted, she really wanted a tasty mint Oreo milkshake.
A few minutes later, Carmen, Lisa, Jason, and Rafael entered JB's coffee shop.
Lisa spotted Chewie messing around with the blender, basically, he was trying to fix it because the chef was not too happy about the blender being broken.
"Hey, Chewie, you got a minute?" Lisa asked.
"Sure, what's up?" Chewie answered.
"Did you see anyone you didn't know hanging around her last night when Selena disappeared?" Rafael asked Chewie.
Chewie thought for a moment.
"Well, come to think of it, I did see a couple of guys with black hair and dirty headbands hanging around the back door." Chewie answered Rafael.
Carmen gasped.
"I just remembered something!" Carmen exclaimed.
"What?" Jason asked Carmen.
"There has been word traveling between the Clans that several Sundance foot soldiers were banished after Elle and Lisa humiliated King Lucien a month ago!" Carmen exclaimed.
"And, you're thinking that a couple of the disgraced foot soldiers grabbed Selena to try and get back in the good graces of their king?" Lisa asked Carmen.
Carmen nodded.
Rafael turned to Chewie, "Did you hear them say where they were headed?" he asked.
Chewie thought again for a moment.
"One of the men said that they were taking Selena to an old shack in Dead Man's Gully." Chewie answered Rafael in a whisper.
