As the due date of her second daughter was approaching, Lucy found herself reminiscing about Josie's birth and how lonely she had been. She felt grateful that she would have Shane this time around.

Lucy, thirty-five weeks pregnant, found herself standing across the street outside of her childhood home. She stared at the house longingly. She really wanted to go up to the door and knock on it. She wanted to share her life with her family. She wanted them to meet her beautiful daughter Josie and be at the hospital for the birth of her second daughter.

Lucy zoned out for a moment and didn't hear the footsteps of someone approaching her. She only noticed when she heard a familiar voice.

"Aunt Lucy?" The voice questioned

Lucy blinked her eyes rapidly a few times. She stared at the teenage girl in front of her, "Uh. No, sorry. I'm Lena. I thought the house looked familiar."

The teenage girl nodded, "Yeah. Right."

"I'll just be going." Lucy said as she got back into her car and drove away.

'That was Aunt Lucy.' The teenage girl, Nicky Reagan-Boyle thought, 'Wonder why she lied?'

Nicky thought back to when she had been staring face-to-face with her aunt. She remembered seeing a fading hand-shaped bruise around her aunt's wrist, like she had been grabbed a little too tightly.

'Maybe she's scared of whoever's abusing her.' Nicky thought, 'Maybe that's why she disappeared. Maybe she didn't run away. Maybe she was kidnapped.'
