When Gibbs saw Eli walk through the doors, he didn't know if it was good or bad. They have him. Is it a chance to arrest him? Or is is a setup? Could he get bailed out the moment he gets registered into the jail records? He was actually afraid of what might happen next. He knew that Jenny could easily arrest him and send to jail but he also knew damn well it wasn't that simple. Well. Not as simple as he hoped it would be. As Eli made his way past the bullpen, he stared and glared at Gibbs. Gibbs glared back using all the death glare power he had. He did not like that man. There was not one ounce of him that did. He hated Eli David so much. He wanted to make him suffer for all he had done. But he could only dream of that for now.

He wondered what was install. He hoped Vance would just arrest him and then all would be good. He hoped. He knew it probably wouldn't happen. All his wishes to do with Eli David rounded up to one thing. He hoped Ziva wouldn't get hurt. Again.

Tony and Ziva drove back to Tony's apartment in silence. Tony wondered what went down between her and Gibbs. She looked fine one minute and when she came out of the elevator, her eyes were all red and puffy and she could barely contain her composure. She looked sad. To put it lightly. If Tony were to look into her eyes and stare all he would see was woe. He had never seen anyone more broken before. He kind of wanted to know what her childhood was like and her life in Mossad before NCIS. But then again, he actually didn't want to know. Tony pulled up at his garage and they walked to his apartment in more silence. Ziva went straight in and sat on the couch. She didn't say a word. Tony sat down next to her. There was a weird, awkward silence going on. Tony found that if it had been any other situation, he would have made some sort of fun with it but, he couldn't even smile.

"Anything you want to talk about?" He asked solemnly.

Ziva took a moment before answering.

"No." She tried to keep it together but she fell apart anyway. And cried. She felt so embarrassed to be crying again. She wished she could just disappear and never be seen again.

Tony just looked at her with much sympathy. His heart was hurting seeing her like this. He leaned in closer and tried to comfort her. He gave her a sweet smile and wiped the tears on her face with his thumb.

"It's going to be ok. Ziva. I promise." He whispered.

"I- I have been trying to pull it together but the harder I try, I fall apart. I am so sorry Tony. I am sorry that I can not seem to control my emotions. But can you please... Can you please stay with me?" She whimpered.

Tony's heart clenched hearing this. He wondered why she would apologise for something like this.

"Ziva. There is no need to be sorry. There is nothing to be sorry for. You have been through more than anyone should have gone through in a lifetime and from time to time, people do need a shoulder to cry on. It is ok to let loose." He tried to console her and tell her not to think less of herself. He wondered if it was a bit too late. But if it was, he wasn't going to give up. "Of course. I will stay as long as you need. Hell, you can even move out and live here if you want." He smiled and his smile widened when Ziva managed to crack a small rewarding smile back. "I'm fighting for you Ziva." He whispered close up to her ear. She nuzzled into Tony's chest, closed her eyes and tried to sleep.

Tony wrapped his arms around her protectively. He had something on his mind. He had something to tell Ziva but he had no courage to say it. He had been thinking about it long and hard. Whether he should tell her or not. He didn't even know if she had the same thoughts weighing in her mind as well. He thought about telling her. He didn't even know if Gibbs would approve. He didn't think so but at that point, he didn't really care at all about what Gibbs had to say.

"Ziva." He whispered up really close to her ear.

"Hmmmm?" He got in reply.

"I love you." Tony couldn't even believe that he said it.

She looked up at him and she looked at his honestly and directly at his eyes.

"I love you too. Tony."
