- Day 61: Interview-

"It will be over soon as long as the two of you cooperate," Gerard said with folded arms looking at the couple before him. He had finally convinced Takumi and Misaki to sit down and do an interview for the curious public. It was supposed to be scheduled for the day of their wedding but they had escaped to their honeymoon.

"You're paying us right?" Misaki questioned taking a seat in the chair where she would be interviewed alongside Takumi who was already seated. "I hope you haven't forgotten."

Gerald felt his lips twitched at the memory of him settling the price for their interview. Of course, she wouldn't let him forget. "Yes, I'm paying you."

"Good because we could've been at work right now but your pestering made it difficult. I'm surprised you didn't have someone type out a fake interview from us," Misaki stated as it was something could imagine him doing.

"No need to. I always get my way as you can see from the two of you now sitting here," Gerard replied.

"I could still take my wife and leave older brother," Takumi spoke saying 'older brother' with a hint of mockery.

"You don't want to be unprofessional right?" Gerard said glaring down at his brother. There was no way on this earth he would let the two of them miss this interview.

"I don't care," Takumi nonchalantly replied. "I wasn't the one who called them here. On my end, something could've magically popped up and you would be the one apologizing to them. Try me."

Gerard turned to Misaki who he knew he could reason with a bit more. Takumi was always determined to do the opposite of whatever Gerard asked but he realized if you want to get Takumi to do something you just need to convince his wife. "Misaki, please talk to him."

"If you leave us alone for one week, no invading our privacy," Misaki said adding another term to their agreement.

"When have I ever done that?"

Misaki and Takumi stared at the delusional Gerard who invaded their privacy every chance he got.

"Remember last Valentine's day?" Takumi questioned.

"I was just curious that one time. Not my fault it was a bag with raunchy clothes. Next time save that in your bedroom. Not everyone has to know what you bought for your wife to wear," Gerard said.

"I didn't wear those!" Misaki exclaimed blushing as she remembered the gift.

"You shouldn't have opened the bag but maybe you were lonely and wanted a gift. My bad, next time I'll buy you a gift brother," Takumi smiled whilst teasing his brother.

"I'm not lonely. I said I was curious."

"It's not right to lie ~" Takumi sang to piss off his brother even more. "Didn't your friend reject him Misa?

"She didn't reject- I don't like her!" Gerard corrected himself as Amy did reject him but it wasn't like he was chasing after the woman.

"Seems like a cycle with you and women," Takumi responded enjoying seeing Gerard flare-up.

"You don't know about my relationships."

"Since I've been here I've seen you in none."

"We look the same but you're weird. Misaki is even weirder for falling in love with you. You're only married because a weirdo found an even bigger weirdo. We should get her examined!" Gerard angrily replied wanting to shout out his frustrations but kept his voice down so he wouldn't be out of character for the people in the room.

"Hey," Misaki interjected not knowing why she was being brought into this stupid conversation.

"You've got nothing on me so you involve Misaki what a pity, "Takumi smiled even more seeing Gerard ready to lose his composure.

"Listen here you little sh-"

"Is everything alright? We're ready to start," The lady who was about to interview Misaki and Takumi said.

"We're fine!" Misaki, Takumi, and Gerald said together.

The interviewer sat down in her seat ready to get the show started.

Gerard sighed and then whispered. "If you two sit here and carry out this whole interview I'll make a section of the Raven castle your own where no one can bother you. You can have the entire north wing. Deal?"

Takumi looked at Misaki who nodded in agreement. "Deal."

"Good. Let's start," Gerard said moving away so the interview could start.

"Good morning Misaki and Takumi Usui, Alicia here from Intel magazine. So excited to be able to meet and interview the two of you. The public has been curious to know more about you since your big wedding. Let me start off first by asking how did the two of you meet?"

"Good morning, it's a pleasure to be here. Misaki and I met at Seika high school in Japan..." Takumi trailed off.

I think I might split this story into 2 parts. I might make the first 182 chapters about their first year of being married and time skip here and there. The last 183 chapters about their life with children? Instead of having Our life and One step at a time and having to update two stories kinda about the same thing. I would try to update this story 3-4 times a week (to make the story move along faster) if I split since the chapters are like 500-800 the majority of the time.
