Bucky carried Dallas up to their shared floor and brought her into his room, slamming the door closed and snapping, "Lock the door," as he deposited Dallas on his bed. She backed up until she was against his headboard, looking at the Winter Soldier in fear as he stood at the edge of the bed, staring her down as she squirmed, "You deserve better."
She swallowed but didn't say anything as he moved along the side of the bed, looking like an animal about to pounce. Her bright eyes followed him, but he could see her trembling in his sights, and he could smell how aroused she was, making him hyper aware of his hardening cock, "Are you afraid of me?"
"No."
"Then why do you look so scared?"
"I'm not, you just scooped me up and took me away from everyone."
"So, you are scared." Bucky challenged, pulling his t-shirt over his head, "Listen, if you want Steve so badly, I'll get the punk to have sex with you, but you'll get exactly what you asked for. He'll lose himself in memories of your sister, and he'll fuck you until you have your senses back and then you'll both feel empty and broken."
"I just want to feel that once." Dallas breathed, twitching as Bucky reached for his belt, "I want to feel what they had."
"I care about you. A lot." Dallas looked up to meet his eyes and he released his grip on his belt, leaving it hanging open as he took a step back, "I don't want Steve to help you, because I don't want you to think for a second that you're a second choice. I knew Brooklyn, and I loved Brooklyn, but she was no you. If you want Steve, I promise, you'll have him, but you'll both regret it. If you want to know what your sister had, give me a chance to show you."
Dallas reached for the buttons of her dress with shaky fingers, trying to undo them as she looked at the man before her. Despite her shaking body and hazy vision, she drank in the man before her, seeing Bucky Barnes instead of the Winter Soldier. His beard was gone and his hair had been cut, and she hadn't even noticed before, because she'd been too busy begging his best friend to pretend she was her older sister to realize Bucky was the one trying to figure out how to help her, all while Steve stood there like a panicked idiot.
She swallowed hard as her hands struggled with her dress, "Please help me."
Bucky nodded and shoved down his jeans, earning a hungry growl from the woman on the bed. He chuckled and crawled up the mattress, seeing her fear subside as lust overtook her, "You like what you see?"
"You're bigger than Steve."
"I'm aware, but I wasn't going to say anything." Bucky winked and Dallas groaned as he grabbed her dress and began to swiftly unbutton it so she could get free, "You sure about this?"
"I've never been so sure about anything in my life." She purred as Bucky began to kiss Dallas deeply and work the sex pollen out of her.
March 2009
"Wake up, Soldier." Brooklyn purred as she stroked the Winter Soldier's right arm, "They've got a mission for you."
The man opened his eyes, feeling his thawed blood race through his veins as the small brunette straddled a chair at his side. He cracked his neck and looked down at her with a scowl and she just sighed, murmuring, "Ты меня знаешь?"
Do you know me?
He grunted and looked past her, ignoring her question, but Brooklyn decided since he had chosen not to snap her neck, he probably remembered her. "How are you feeling?"
The Winter Soldier turned to her, looking her up and down before grumbling, "Твои волосы выросли"
Your hair has grown.
"Ahh, so you do know who I am." Brooklyn cooed as she ran her fingers through her hair, "Do you think it's pretty?"
He didn't answer, so she stood, "You're needed in Odessa. There's a nuclear engineer that they need you to eliminate. Can you do that?"
"Ты думаешь у меня есть выбор?"
You think I have a choice?
He snarled as he stood, looking around to see there were armed guards surrounding them outside of the cell he'd been placed in. He looked down at Brooklyn, and for a moment she thought he might smile. He'd done it once. Maybe twice.
Suddenly, Alexander Pierce entered the room and saw the Winter Soldier standing with Brooklyn, eyeing them curiously, "How is he doing?"
"He'll be ready soon, Sir." Brooklyn said, placing her hand on the soldier's chest. His eyes were stone cold as he stared at the Secretary, but he didn't speak or try to attack. He just stood frozen in place, waiting.
Pierce nodded and shrugged, "Well, what's he waiting for?"
Brooklyn looked up at the Winter Soldier and he swallowed, drawing his brows together for a moment in what looked like confusion. Brooklyn began to panic, knowing if she showed signs of remembering, they'd wipe him again, "Are you ready to comply?" She asked desperately, needing the man in front of her to put on a façade and get the job done so neither of them lost their lives.
The Winter Soldier looked to Pierce, then to Brooklyn and said, "No."
The young woman, not even twenty-four yet, looked to Pierce worriedly, "I don't understand. Let me speak with him, I'll figure something out."
Pierce looked over his shoulder and Rumlow came into the room with a smug grin and rifle in his hand, "Tell him if he doesn't eliminate the target in Odessa, he doesn't see you again. Fair deal?"
The Winter Soldier glared ahead blankly, but he understood the threat. He strode forward and grabbed the weapon from Rumlow before leaving to accomplish his mission.
February 15, 2015
There were no windows in Bucky's bedroom, so there was nothing to wake up the sleeping pair aside from the questioning chatter of their friends outside his door. Bucky heard Steve, Sam, and Natasha talking about them, but he decided not to wake Dallas. Her brown hair was splayed across her face, which rested at the curve where his strong shoulder met his arm. His fingers curled around her soft skin, not wanting to let her go in case she never came back. He hoped the others would keep their voices down so Bucky could enjoy his moment a little longer.
"Is she still in there?" Steve's nervous voice carried from outside the door, followed by Natasha answering yes. Sam complained that they'd made quite a bit of noise and asked if they'd woken Denver, which thankfully Steve responded they hadn't. Finally, after more discussion, Steve asked, "Should we check on them?"
Bucky clamped his eyes closed, praying his best friend would decide to leave them alone. If Captain Rogers requested it, JARVIS would wake them both up and ruin what little time Bucky had left with Dallas.
"I'm sure they're fine, Steve." Natasha's voice wafted, causing Bucky to relax until JARVIS asked, "Sergeant Barnes, Doctor Banner is requesting Miss Wells's presence as soon as she feels up to it."
Dallas groaned loudly and pressed her fingers into Bucky's ribcage as she shifted and he answered, "Sure thing JARVIS. I'll let her know."
JARVIS couldn't spy on the bedrooms when they were locked down. JARVIS didn't know that they'd stayed in the same bed or even that they'd had sex for the better part of two hours, but JARVIS did know that her DNA signature was found inside Bucky's room.
"Morning, gorgeous." Bucky murmured as Dallas lifted her eyelids to look up at him, "How are you feeling?"
"So much better. Thank you." She answered, running her finger along the corded muscle of his bicep, "I hope I wasn't too much last night. I wasn't really myself, and I was out of my mind."
"I had a great time." Bucky chuckled as he rubbed her back, looking up at the ceiling, "Was it okay?"
"Umm, yeah. It was okay." Dallas answered sarcastically, rolling over to lean over Bucky. Her plump breasts pressed against him and he allowed himself a quick glance at them before meeting her sparkling eyes, "That was the best sex of my life."
"That's the drugs talking. I was just helping you so that you and Steve didn't do something you'd both regret."
"No." Dallas retorted as she ran her fingertips along Bucky's hairline. He sighed and leaned into her, but his expression looked almost pained as he closed his eyes to avoid her, "So, in the spirit of being honest…" Dallas trailed off, finally getting Bucky to look at her curiously, "I was feeling a lot better before I told you I was okay."
Bucky opened his mouth to question her and she just shrugged and laughed, "I was enjoying being with you, and since you told me you'd been waiting for me, I kinda thought you'd be okay if we kept going."
A crooked smile crept onto Bucky's face and he looked to the wall as he shook his head, "I can't believe you were faking the drugs to keep having sex-"
"I mean, I wasn't faking when we started, but by the end that was just me wanting you." She laughed loudly and he rolled over, so he was hovering over her. She laid on her back with her bottom lip between her teeth as she scanned his face, finally murmuring, "Thank you, for taking such great care of me."
Bucky leaned down to kiss her lips, playing with her soft hair as she hummed into his mouth. When he pulled away, he said, "Thank you for having faith in me last year, after everything that happened. It meant a lot that you trusted me with Denver, and that you didn't push me away after what I did."
Dallas sighed, "It was an accident. Last night wasn't though. Last night was perfect." Dallas blushed and looked away, not realizing how lovingly Bucky gazed at her until she turned back to him and said, "If you'd be up for it, I'd love to have more night like last night."
"Really?" Bucky's brows shot up and his smile reached all the way to his eyes. He cleared his throat, and his voice dropped, "I mean, really? Like, casual, or-"
"I mean, casual is great, but…" Dallas trailed off, thinking, "if you wanted to be a little less casual about it, that could be okay too. I mean, realistically, what am I doing with my life outside of this tower? It would be so much easier to date someone who lives with my niece, and someone I don't have to lie to, and overall, I'm not gonna find anybody better than you… so, I'm down for whatever."
Bucky nodded, considering this, "So, are you asking me out Dallas Wells?"
"I don't know, are you going to say yes, James Barnes?" She giggled as he leaned down to place a train of kisses along her round jaw, "That's your name, right? Or was I calling you someone else's name in my ecstasy?"
"Nope, that's my name." Bucky told her as he ran his fingers along her side, propping himself up on his right elbow to see her better, "Is it weird I like when you call me James?"
"We just established that's your name, so no?"
"But everybody calls me Bucky. It's because Steve calls me Bucky."
The forlorn way he said it made Dallas's heart ache, because she realized nobody cared about him beyond being Steve Rogers's best friend. "Well, I'm gonna call you James. Because that's your name, and I've decided if everyone else is gonna call you by your nickname, I'll be special and call you by your real one."
"I'd like that," Bucky said as he leaned down to kiss her lips, "What's your real name?"
She balked at that, leaning back, "Dallas is my real name."
"Really? I thought Dallas was a city." Bucky argued and Dallas laughed, "It is! It's a city in Texas. Brooklyn, Dallas… Denver. We do the city names in our family."
Bucky nodded, drawing his brows together as he dug through his mind, "I kinda think I've been there." Dallas turned to him questioningly and he chuckled, "It's a little fuzzy, but- never mind. Don't worry about it."
"Okay, it's ten. They have to be awake. What if she's not okay?" Steve said as he paced back and forth through the kitchen, taking his daughter's bright eyes with him.
"Daddy, why you pacin?" Denver asked from her chair at the kid's table they'd set up just for her. Cupcake sat dutifully beside her, occasionally sneaking a piece of bacon off her plate while she was watching her dad.
Steve looked to Denver, then back to Natasha and Banner, "Because Aunt Dallas was really sick last night, and we haven't heard from her since."
"Did she go away like Mommy?"
"God, I hope not." Steve said under his breath, knowing it wasn't out of the realm of possibility that Bucky fucked her to death and got out of dodge before they realized it. "JARVIS? Are Bucky and Dallas still in his suite?"
"Yes, Sir. Sergeant Barnes said he'd send her up to see Doctor Banner as soon as she was feeling up to it."
"How long ago was that?" Banner asked, and JARVIS answered, "Two hours ago, Sir."
Steve met Natasha's gaze and warned, "I'm going in there."
"You don't trust him?"
"Honestly, I don't know. His mind isn't always clear… what if he… he wouldn't on purpose, but we don't know, and it's Dallas and-"
"Sure, Cap. Why don't you go check in on them then?" Tony teased, gesturing towards the door, "Make sure Buckn' Bronco didn't break R2 in half. Since you're so worried about your daughter's mother's sister."
"She's family." Steve spat, then turned to Denver, "Be good and stay with Auntie Nat, okay?"
"Okay." Denver parroted as she took a bite of pancake and fed the rest to Cupcake after Steve left the room.
When he reached Bucky's room, Steve took a deep breath to steel his nerves before pounding on the door and calling, "Hey, Buck, can we talk?"
No answer.
"Bucky, is Dallas with you? We're worried about her. We need her to get checked out by Banner."
No answer again.
Steve pounded harder this time, raising his voice, "Open this door right now, or I'll break it down. This is your final warning."
When Bucky didn't answer again, Steve stormed upstairs to his apartment and grabbed his shield. He considered giving his best friend one more chance to answer, but Steve had lost his patience and needed to know Dallas was okay. Brooklyn would be rolling in her grave knowing Steve let her sister have sex with the Winter Soldier.
He wound up his left arm and brought the shield down hard on the doorknob before kicking down the door and storming the room, finding Dallas and Bucky tangled in his sheets with him hovering over her mid thrust.
"Steve? What the fuck?" Bucky wheezed, pulling the sheet up a little higher to cover Dallas as his friend stood in the doorway like a big, dumb idiot who didn't know what was happening, "Steve, get out!"
"Or join us- if you want? I'm down with it." Dallas said casually before Bucky shoved his hand over her face to silence her and Steve quickly slammed the door, smiling to himself that his best friend finally got his girl.
