So in Tale of Years, there's an ongoing joke that no one wants to let Alice drive. Her visions can make her driving a little... unpredictable at times. But let's kick it up a notch; Jasper trying and failing to be overprotective is even more fun.
"You never know when you'll have a vision and space out!" he said one day when he was the one driving. "Car crashes can cause explosions! Fire! Danger!"
And then he saw someone bleeding on the other side of the freeway and suddenly veered across eight lanes of traffic to commit sparkly murder in front of a good chunk of the 7 a.m. commute. Alice grabbed the wheel just in time and they ended up in a ditch upside down instead.
When Jasper stopped snarling and came back to his senses, Alice was like "Sorry, my ears are kinda small, what were you saying?"
