Theme: An Almost Terminated Destiny and Mission
Time Period: A Flashback
Year: 1978
Situation: A Thirteen year old Sarah gets her period
Place: Sarah's Middle School- The School Clinic
The school nurse (addressing Pops): Hello, Mr. Connor
Pops (entering the clinic): I have received your message. I am here to pick up my daughter.
The School Nurse (giving a bag of Sarah's bloody school uniform to Pops): The incident started during Social Studies. Please be gentle with her. It is her first cycle.
Pops: I understand
Sarah (wearing a new set of clothes): I am embarrassed. I am so ready to go home.
The school nurse (gives napkins and her phone number to Sarah on a sheet of paper): You can call me or visit me if you have any questions about your cycle. You can keep the napkins.
Sarah (blushing): Thanks
The School Nurse: You are welcome, sweetheart
(From then on Sarah receives helpful advice on female matters such as her cycle from Pops and the School nurse. Little did Sarah know that she is being groomed to be somebody's mother (perhaps John's mom).
Time Period: A Flashback
Year: 1981
Situation: Post Sarah's first abortion
Scene 1: Sarah's bedroom
Sarah (crying heavily into a pillow): I am a murderer. I killed an innocent life. I killed John.
Kyle (rubbing Sarah's back): You are not a murderer. It was your body and your choice.
Sarah (sobbing): Please honest and real with me. You know it in your heart that I am a murderer.
Kyle (choked up): I love you. I only have love for you in my heart.
Sarah: John will never have a chance to be born now
Pops: Maybe the baby that you terminated wasn't John. You are still young and have time for him.
Sarah: If I didn't abort John, then who was it?
Pops: The baby could've been a defect
Kyle: A defect?
Pops: A person never meant to exist
Sarah: This term, defect sounds so cruel
Kyle: I recall you said Sarah is destined to meet a man named Kyle Reese. This Kyle Reese will father John. I wonder if I am this Kyle Reese.
Pops: You are that Kyle Reese, but you have arrived way too soon. Sarah was supposed to meet you in her late teens.
Kyle: Interesting
Sarah: Where do we go from here?
Kyle: I am moving away or simply returning to my original timeline
Sarah: Please don't leave me. I need you even if we have created a defect. We must stay together for John's sake.
(Before Kyle leaves, he treats Sarah and Pops to a dinner and movie)
Time Period: A Flashback
Year: 1982
Situation: Sarah Comes home after being violated at a friend's house party
Sarah (losing her balance, she almost falls on the front doorstep): This hurts
Kyle (a ghost) catches Sarah): I got you
Sarah (banging on the front door): Please open the door, Pops
Pops (alarmed, he opens the door): Sarah?
Sarah (crying in Pops' arms): I was violated at my friend's house party
(Pops takes Sarah to the hospital to get checked out. Pops feels guilty for allowing Sarah to go the house party alone. If Sarah didn't attend the party, she would've never gotten pregnant and terminated the pregnancy)
Time Period: Later on in the future (1983/1984 and onward)
Sarah's previous terminated pregnancies make it hard for her (Emilia) and Kyle (Jai) to conceive John. Pops is really concerned about the young couple. Sarah does become with John eventually. Both the pregnancy and birth take a huge toll on Sarah's body. Against all odds, she (Lena) and Kyle (Jonathan) don't regret having John (Thomas) in their lives).
