(Abigail's POV)
*All of us were getting a little worn out. We had been fighting Geoffrey for a while & none of us had been able to land a hit*
Geoffrey St. John: No offense, but you blokes can't land a hit on me.
Sally: We were willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, Geoffrey, even after what you did to Sonic.
Geoffrey St. John: You're too kind, Luv.
Sally: But to restore Naugus . . . To be an Ixis Wizard yourself! And now to usurp my Father!
Geoffrey St. John: It's your own fault for not paying attention. What's done is done. My Master is meeting with the Council of Acorn now to make his rightful claim to the crown. And through him, the people of this city will finally be safe. Even with Nicole's barrier.
Sally: Traitor or Revolutionary, you're still a murderer!
*Sally threw another kick at him*
Geoffrey St. John: Wait, what!?
*He dodged a punch from Bunnie*
Sally: You said it yourself! Hershey is dead!
*Geoffrey used Bunnie's arm to block Antoine's sword & my hook swords*
Geoffrey St. John: And you think I could do that to her? We were on separate missions! I investigated when she didn't report in!
*Bunnie suddenly wrapped him up in her arm& lifted him up in the air*
Abigail: And you expect us to believe a single word from you now?
Geoffrey St. John: Think of me what you like, but do not belittle my wife's sacrifice! She went down fighting the Eggman Empire!
*An hour later, we were still fighting Geoffrey, but we weren't doing very well. He jumped up & kicked Tails to the ground*
Geoffrey St. John: I can keep this up all day, mates!
*He then had Tails in a head-lock*
Sally: But you're not going to.
Geoffrey St. John: Really now?
Sally: You say you're innocent. You say Naugus is in the right.
Geoffrey St. John: Yes.
Sally: Then we shouldn't be fighting. If you're doing the right thing, stand down and let justice take it's course.
*He let Tails go*
Geoffrey St. John:*laughing* Clever, Luv. I'll play along with that.
*Me & Sally turned to Nicole, who had been leaning in front of the fountain, shaking*
Sally: Keep an eye on him, please.
*Bunnie & Antoine looked at Geoffrey with glares*
Bunnie: Oh, you bet we will.
*Sally, Huck, & I walked towards Nicole*
Abigail: Nicole? Are you okay?
Huck: Chao-Chao?
*She didn't answer at first*
Sally: Nicole?
Nicole: Yes. I'm fine. Just a little shook up.
*Sally & I then help her stand up. Behind us, the crowd had started gossiping*
Citizen #1: Did you see that?
Citizen #2: That weirdo's magic beats tech.
Citizen #3: Maybe this Naugus guy could protect us better than Nicole.
Citizen #4: Yeah, but wasn't Sonic fighting him?
Citizen #5: Sonic's fought good guys, too though.
Citizen #6: Maybe he's made another mistake?
*Nicole started looking scared*
Sally: Nicole, I think you should get out of sight for a while . . .
Nicole: . . . Very well.
*Nicole disappeared*
Citizen #7: And isn't Commander St. John a hero?
Citizen #8: Well, he did work for King Nigel . . .
Citizen #9: Maybe he's right after all?
*Suddenly, we all felt the ground shaking violently*
Tails: What was that!?
Amy: An earthquake?
Rotor: Impossible. We're even near any major fault lines.
*I looked at Huck, who looking up at the sky & looking like he was going to faint*
Abigail: Huck, what's . . . *I looked where he was looking & my eyes went wide* Uh . . . Guys?
*I pointed up at the sky. Everyone followed my finger & gasped in horror. Floating above the city, was the Death Egg*
