Frank and I arrived at the border. We walked a little in silence until I asked, "H-how long do you think they'll attack?" I fidgeted with my cloak.

"I-I'm not sure. I hope soon, I don't think we can take any more large attacks."

"You can with me around," I said, "I don't want to, I'm putting everyone at risk just being here, but I don't have a choice."

"Hazel already told you that this isn't your fault-,"

"I know it isn't my fault, but that doesn't make me any more dangerous." I paused, "I didn't want to tell you and Hazel something, but I guess it would be best if I do. W-when I get mad, my curse tends to, well, react. Nothing can stop me unless I can calm down. And if I get stressed I tend to… explode." I whispered the last part.

"You explode?" Frank whispered yelled.

"Yes, but please don't tell anyone. That's how the camp started fighting with each other. After everyone found out they thought I was too dangerous and wanted me to go. They all said I was going to kill them."

"Oh," Frank muttered.

"But please, you must believe me, I don't want to hurt anyone."

"I believe you."

"Thanks." Just then I heard a slight growl and what I thought was laughter. "You hear that?" I whispered.

"What?" Frank said looking around. I heard another growl, this one sounding closer. "Trish! Watch out!" Frank yelled.

I whirled around and stuck my hand in the air. I stopped it, but not before it sliced me across my face. I recognized this monster, it was one of Nemesis's hellhounds. I took the beast, raised it high, and slammed my hand on the ground causing the hound to do the same. It exploded into dust before my eyes.

I lifted my hands to my face and cried out in pain, I tried healing it but I couldn't, it took too much energy.

Frank looked at me with wide eyes. He then hurried over to me and picked me up. The next thing I remember is Frank rushing towards the Roman city before I blacked out.
