I woke up to the best smell you could ever smell. Sally Jackson's blue pancakes.
I opened my eyes to see Coral still sleeping on me. So much for getting pancakes I thought.
"Oh, you're up."
I turned around as much as I could without disturbing Coral. Standing there was Will.
"Oh, hey," I said turning back around. Will walked to the other side of the couch so I could see him better.
"You know it won't be hard to take that scar away," he said.
"Eh, it's fine. I kinda like it."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm fine, Will."
"Okay. Did they tell you about camp?" Will asked.
"No, is everything okay?" I asked nervously.
"Everything's fine," Will said, "There haven't been any attacks yet, when we went to check on everyone we prepared just in case they start to attack. Whoever they are."
"Okay, that's… good, I guess. I'm going to go back to Camp Jupiter today-," Will cut me off.
"No, Sally doesn't want you going back, at least for today, she's worried about you. Plus Nico thinks you might be able to get some training in on the roof of the building."
"But I need to go back," I argued.
"You don't need to go back, I know Frank and Hazel, they can handle themselves for a day."
"F-fine, but-," I was cut off again.
"No buts, now you're going to eat a good breakfast, train with Nico and rest today, not doing anything rash."
"You're so stubborn. How can Nico put up with you?" I mumbled.
Will just laughed and walked away. As much as I wanted to go help Hazel and Frank, I knew I needed to rest for a little while, but was one whole day really necessary?
Coral woke up soon after Will left the room. After getting dressed, Will made me eat breakfast. I wasn't complaining though, Sally makes really good pancakes.
"So," Nico said, coming up to me, "did Will tell you that I found a spot on the roof for us to train?" He sat down beside me.
"Yeah."
"Well after breakfast we should train."
"Sure okay."
Sally walked into where we were sitting. "You two just seem ready for the day," Sally said sarcastically.
"It's the morning, what do you expect. He's the son of Hades and I've been using so much energy lately it's not even funny," I groaned.
"It wasn't funny in the beginning," Sally said.
"Ha, you got that right," I said, putting my hands in my head.
We sat in silence for a little while, Paul had come in and was now sipping coffee and reading a newspaper while Sally sat next to him.
It was silent for a little while longer until the Stoll's came in.
"Hey sis," They said sitting on either side of me.
"Hey," I responded with a slight yawn.
"Oh we forgot to tell you," Connor said, "Jamie was mad because you said that you would IM him and you never did."
"Ugh, I forgot," I grumbled.
"Yeah, well he was pretty upset," Travis said.
I looked at him annoyed. "You think I carry drachmas around with me? Plus I don't even know how to IM," I complained.
"Well we can teach you," Connor smiled.
"Yeah it isn't that hard," Travis said, taking a bite out of a blue pancake.
"But the question is; do I want to learn?"
"Well why not?"
"I don't know, it just seems a bit weird to me. Plus you know how I feel giving offerings to Immortals."
"Fine, we won't teach you," the brothers pouted.
"Thank you," I said getting up and walking over to Nico.
"How about we start training before I change my mind," I said.
"Sure." Nico got up and we walked out of the apartment.
Thank for reading! Also I don't know if I'll be able to post on Wednesday's anymore, I have a youth group that day. I'll still try and get a chapter out that day but no promises.
