SmackDown: 4/6/2010
Friday Night SmackDown was live at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The show opens with Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long in his office. Long says that he regrets to inform us that Undertaker was found in a vegetative state by his brothers Kane and Bladewolf over the Memorial Day weekend. There is an ongoing investigation looking into who or what was responsible for this brutal, heinous attack.
The Smackdown video plays and we're brought into the arena with some pyro. Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcome us to the show. Tonight we'll see Kofi Kingston defend the Intercontinental Championship against Drew McIntyre, who is invoking his rematch clause.
The sound of monks chanting is heard and that can only mean one thing: the druids are coming. Eight druids come to ringside wheeling a casket. They position it ringside and surround the ring.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
The Devil's Wolf plays as pyro blows up on the stage and out comes the Bladewolf and Kane, Bladewolf making his first appearance since the 16th of April. He had the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. The two brothers walk down the ramp and enter the ring after looking at the casket. Kane stands at the podium while Bladewolf stands beside him.
"In all likelihood the most feared, dreaded, respected force in the history of the WWE, the Undertaker, our brother, will no longer walk amongst us." Kane began with a slightly emotional voice, like he was containing the rage and anger. "Gone are the endless nights when the Undertaker would strike fear into the hearts of those in his presence. Gone is the face of darkness, his brilliance extinguished by an act of cowardice. Gone is the specter that was beloved and admired by millions of creatures around the world. Gone from the WWE is its most iconic figure. And gone forever are the bonds of brotherhood. My brother will rise from the dead no more. Gone is the Undertaker!"
Kane backs off as Bladewolf steps up to the podium, and when he spoke his voice was filled with rage, coldness, and anger. "But soon enough those responsible for this ATROCITY will too be gone. They will be committed to the depths of hell to a torturous existence that they cannot fathom. I will personally prosecute and persecute ANYONE who had anything to do with this tragedy. THERE WILL BE VENGEANCE! THERE WILL BE VENGEANCE, COLD, CUNNING, CRUEL! THERE WILL BE VENGEANCE NEVER BEFORE SEEN OR FELT! VENGEANCE NEVER BEFORE IMAGINED! THERE WILL BE A VENGEANCE SWIFT, DECISIVE, AND TERRIBLE! YES, THERE WILL BE VENGEANCE!"
Bladewolf kicks the podium over as Kane does the Undertaker salute while Bladewolf raises his arms then throws them down to shoot fire from the turnbuckles. Kane then falls to his face crying and saying he should have been there for him. Kane reaches out and touches the casket crying. Bladewolf was breathing heavily as he stood there, glaring ahead at nothing...
Backstage
CM Punk is backstage putting his mask on when Kane and Bladewolf come in, the latter grabbing Punk by the throat tightly and backs him into the wall.
"Hello Punk." Bladewolf growled. "We need to talk...you know what we're here to speak about. I can smell the stench of guilt on you, the man who boldly claims he made the Undertaker tap out. You seem so jumpy, Punk. What do you have to hide?!"
"I know why you're here!" Punk said desperately and quickly. "I can appreciate that! Me and the S.E.E, we know all about family-"
"We're not here to talk about you or your family!" Kane snarled. "We just have one question for you..did you do it?!"
"No! No! No! We didn't do it! We didn't do it!" Punk said quickly as Bladewolf's grip on his throat tightened. "In fact...in fact, if you need my help, if you need the S.E.S's help, we'd be happen to help a fallen brother!"
"Brother BROTHER?!" Bladewolf throws Punk into the wall before he and Kane storm out the room..
Later
Jack Swagger is backstage wearing his Sooners jersey again. Swagger says it appears some people doubt his accolades and the University of Oklahoma. In this state and city the University of Oklahoma invented Swagger. Not only was he a two-time All-American-American wrestler, he was also a starter for the Oklahoma Sooners. All four years they sent the Texas Longhorns back down to Austin crying. To honor his great achievements and his victory at Fatal Four Way he's going to sing the University of Oklahoma fight song. The music plays and Swagger sings off-key and off-tempo.
Bladewolf walks up behind Swagger and glares at him as Swagger doesn't meet his eyes. "Did...you...do...it?" he asks slowly and coldly, but Swagger doesn't reply, only keeping his head down before the show went to the next match.
And that's it for this chapter everyone. Bladewolf and Kane are on the hunt to find out who assaulted the Undertaker!
