A/N: I'm really proud of the chapter. Hope you all like it!
With the disbandment of Fairy Tail one year ago, a lot of things have happened within those 365 days.
Many joined different guilds... although it was difficult at first, but they had to make an income somehow.
Others began careers they thought they'd never have a chance at... and some even decided to change their lives all together.
It was a rough time for the members of the Fairy Tail guild... but moving on... was for the better.
"Would ya slow down!"
"H-Hey! ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME?!" Lucy spazzed clutching onto Natsu's waist trying not to fall off the boar they we're riding on
"What makes you think Sabertooth is going to have info on Gray anyway?!"
After Natsu and Happy reunited with Lucy and Wendy, their next course of action was to find the ice mage.
"I-"
"I can't talk about it-"
"B-but why would that be a secret?!" The celestial mage spazzed making the dragon slayer turn around
"Listen close Lucy-"
"HEY YOU NEED TO LOOK WHERE YOU'RE GOING!"
"I gotta hunch, ya gotta trust me... alright?" He replied making the blonde gasp
"I swear, I will find Gray and bring him back... you hear me?" He leaned forward having noses almost touching.
After learning about all the searching Lucy has been doing in the past year, the pain and grief she's endured... Natsu swore to him himself. He's going to make her dream a reality...and bring everyone back!
They found Wendy and Carla first at Lamia Scale, hopefully they'll be able find Gray...
and maybe...
Vyra alongside him.
Sabertooth Guildhall
"Lucy? It's you! Wow, this certainly is a pleasant surprise!"
"H-Hey Yukino!" Lucy rose up a hand walking over to the girl
"I hope everything is going good with you!"
"Things are going great!"
"You guys get ready, because Fairy Tail is about to make a big come back!"
"Oh really?! T-That's great!" Yukino began to cry waterfalls
"I'm so h-happy that you g-guys are going t-to get back together a-anddd-"
"Uhhh, That's not something to cry about..." Lucy deadpanned making a face
"T-Trust m-me, It is-" She sniffled blowing her nose into a tissue leaving the blonde utterly confused
'It is?'
"Wow, now those are some familiar faces..."
Lucy then gawked staring at the unusual large man.
"A-And y-you a-are?"
"Hey there Sting-" Natsu smirked crossing his arms
"STING?! WHAT NO WAY!"
"W-Why is h-he so big?!" Wendy stuttered
"Wow man, you haven't changed one bit-"
"You either!" The boys conversed making the blonde blow a gasket
"WHAT THE HECK, ARE YOU BLIND?!"
"Ah, now that's something I can explain..." Yukino sighed
"We had our annual tiger tiger tiger eating contest a few days ago... and well... you see-"
She went on to explain how Minerva overcame all of them, winning the contest.
"Here, how about we fix you up a bit-" Yukino pulled out one of her keys aiming it at the blonde headed dragon slayer
"Gee thanks!" Sting smiled, stretching his arms
"YOU'RE BACK TO NORMAL?!"
"All thanks to Libra!" Yukino put up a peace sign next to Libra as the Fairy Tail group began to laugh
"Hey, you might be surprised to see who else is here-" Lucy let out a cheerful smile nudging the fire dragon slayer quickly catching Sting's attention
"So anyway, what brings you all the way out to our guild?" The newest master of Sabertooth proclaimed crossing his arms just as the doors of the guildhall flew open
Natsu's body stiffened as his nostrils flared.
'That scent...'
Turning around, his eyes widened. Never in the dragon slayer's mind did he expect to see Vyra out of all people walk through the Sabertooth hall.
"V-VYRAAAA!" Happy cried flying straight into her chest making her heart beat a million miles a second.
Pulling down her hood, it revealed her shocked expression holding the cat in her arm before noticing the three Fairy Tail members.
'What the-' Natsu eyed the bluenette head to toe as she slowly walked further into the guild
"YOU'RE A MEMBER OF SABERTOOTH?!"
"Oh shut up and don't act so surprised!" Lucy bonked him on the head
The blunette wore all black head to toe with some golden accents. She had on a black romper with fishnet leggings paired with a pair of high top sneakers having her bright white Sabertooth emblem on the front of her left thigh showing through the leggings.
Was she dreaming?
"Hey there Vyra, long time so see-" Lucy winked
"Hi Vyra!" Wendy jumped
"..."
and nothing from Natsu. All they could do was stare at each other.
"What happ-"
and...
BAM!
The dragon slayer fell through one of the wooden picnic tables holding onto his now throbbing face.
Ouch.
"WHAT HAPPENED?!" She repeated now in full on rage
"Are you seriously asking me that right now!?" The girl shook firing up her light magic in the palms of her hand
"Woah, woah, woah, sunshine calm down-" Sting immediately jumped in coming to the dragon slayers aid
'Sunshine?'
"You left for a whole year! Do you even know what happened?!" She shouted trembling through the blondes hold
"W-Why-"
"WHY ARE YOU HERE!?"
"Wow, I've never seen Vyra scream like that-" Olga gasped
"Yes indeed-" Rufus looked up from his cup of tea
During her time at the Sabertooth guild, Vyra... hasn't exactly been herself. Yes, she would 'hang out' with other guild members, be present... be a part of the guild! Of Course... but the only other person she would personally talk to or go on jobs with, was the master of Sabertooth himself. Sting Eucliffe.
"Vyra hey-" The blonde grabbed her wrists
Sternly locking eyes with hers, the girl's muscles ultimately relaxed.
"V-Vy..." Natsu stood up holding his face staggering over to the girl
"I'm-
"I'm sorry..." He whispered eyes glued to the floor.
Man, what an idiot he was for leaving a damn note. Wendy, Lucy, Happy, and Carla watched the dragon slayer in awe.
Not saying a word, Vyra stared at the fire dragon slayer before he picked up his head.
"Were here... to see Rogue." He firmly stated this time grabbing Sting's attention
"And why's that?" The blonde turned in curiosity
"To find Gray."
"Vyra-" Lucy jumped in
"Do you... know where he is?" She clasped her hands together making the bluenette turn pale
A lump caught in the girls throat, freezing on the spot.
That name...
She hasn't heard it in such a long time...
"No." She turned coldly crossed her arms
"I don't."
...
"What do ya mean you don't?" Natsu pushed trudging forward with a little anger pulsating through his voice
"Hey man-" Sting defended eyes narrowing in seriousness standing protectively in front of the girl
"What... exactly happened to you two?" Lucy questioned in worry making Vyra clench her fists staring at the floor shakily
Flashback
Crying herself to sleep every night, the reflection of the bluenette's puffy eyes in her bathroom mirror was enough to send her over the edge. She couldn't do this anymore. It wasn't healthy.
After FairyTail disbanded, Gray and Vyra quickly drifted apart within a matter of months. He was changing... acting different...
Defeating Silver during their time with Tartaros, taking his ice demon slaying power... the ice mage became a different person. He was coming home to their shared home late, being oh so cold and distant...
He changed his hair style, his posture, his attitude...
Until one day, he finally let it slip.
"I just don't love you anymore-"
The moonlight mages eyes widened as she stared at him before dropping everything she had in her hands.
The thing about Vyra is when she cooks, she loves to grab everything in one go.
and...
CRASH
Plates, mugs, Vegetables, pots, pans, dish ware...shattered. All over the tile.
She was getting ready to prepare for dinner.
Japanese Curry with curry bread...
His favourite...
The bluenette winced feeling the stinging sensation throbbing off of her fingertips. She slowly shifted her head downward to see the blood trailing down the sides of her arms.
Shards of glass must've flew, injuring her. Gray emotionless, stared at the girl's still figure.
Silence fell as Vyra stood in astonishment...
"Ex-Excuse me?"
"EXCUSE ME, GRAY FULLBUSTER!?" She repeated this time with a shout as the boy continued watching her with a lazy expression.
"What the heck is going on with you? Y-You haven't been yourself lately-" She forcefully trudged over grabbing his wrist with her bloodied hand staining his white coat
"What? Because you have this new power?"
"A couple new tattoos and you're a changed man?" She pushed blowing a full on gasket
"You-" Her heart thumped
"You don't love me anymore?"
"What kind of bull crap are you tryin' to pull!?"
"I don't-" He rolled his eyes sarcastically unable to match her gaze
"Gray-"
"You-" She analyzed his body head to toe noticing a certain guild mark missing
"..."
"You didn't-" Her eyes drifted to the front of his chest making the ice mage quickly turn around
"GRAY FULLBUSTER I'M TALKING TO YOU!"
"Take it off-"
"Tch. Isn't it too early in the day for your weekly strip show Vy?" He scoffed
"Did I stutter?" She watched him with the eyes of a vulture
"Take-"
"It-"
"Off."
...
"As you wish, your majesty~" He comically curtsied before tearing off his clothes
Tears started to well up in her eyes. She was right. His guild mark... wasn't there.
"Fairy Tail..." He let out a growl
"Fairy Tail is gone Vyra!"
"THAT'S SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO COME TO TERMS WITH!"
"I-I don't-" She uttered
"I don't know who I'm looking at!" She screeched as he walked out the door into their front yard.
"Hey! I'm talking to you!" She followed him out disregarding the left open door. She was fuming at the moment to notice such petty little things.
"GRAY!"
"I told you-" The ice mage began
"I just don't love you anymore-"
"That's a lie!" She let out an ear shattering shout
"We've loved each other since we were kid's Gray, you can't fool me-"
Clenching his jaw, the ice mage halted.
"Well, thing's changed." He scoffed before turning his head over his shoulder
...
"Fernandes-" He rose his hand creating an ice cage as the bars surrounded her
"Oh, is that how it's going to be?" Vyra scoffed in disbelief looking around at the thick icy bars trapping her in
She crossed her arms before slicing through them horizontally breaking the ice with ease making them turn into sparkles.
"Last name basis now...huh, Fullbuster?" She grinted her teeth
"Heh-" He evilly smirked watching her posture.
It wasn't her best.
"What's the moonlight goddess gonna do without the moon?" He taunted looking up to the overcasted sky
Clicking her tongue, Vyra narrowed her eyes.
Like she said, herself and Gray...
They knew everything about each other.
Likes, dislikes, pleasures, weaknesses...
"HA! YOU CAN FORGET US VY!" Gray villainously laughed smashing his hands onto the ground as large shards of ice came spiralling out of the ground towards her
The bluenette's eyes widened watching the attack.
'Hey... that kinda looks like-'
"Ice Demon: FISSURE!"
'My...move...'
She gasped as the ice hit her directly. Banging her head on the solid block, her consciousness began to drift.
'Damn it Vyra— get up' She urged watching the ice mage through the blurriness of her vision.
"N-No..." She struggled
The last thing she saw was the back of Gray's body walking out into the distance.
Her eyes just kept getting heavier and heavier ultimately letting the unconsciousness take over... and that was it.
He was gone.
Weeks... soon turned into months.
With no affiliated guild, the bluenette had been relying on the savings she had for food... and even then, that was running out. She was all alone.
Having no idea at this moment where Jellal was... she didn't want to be a burden either way, but where did that leave her?
Blue Pegasus?
Laxus and the thunder legion were there...
Her and Gray used to visit from time to time-
But she couldn't. She just really didn't fit in.
That and if Laxus found out her state of being... He would rage.
That Gray left her...
Yeah, how about we not bring back Laxus from the past shall we?
She didn't want that... nor did she want him to worry.
It was a cloudy afternoon, when the twin dragon slayers of Sabertooth were on the way back to their guild returning from Acalypha town when they noticed the zombie-like girl.
"H-Hey..."
"Isn't that-" Sting pointed nudging Rogue as their heads turned toward the disheveled moonlight mage
She was slowly walking through the town, wearing a tattered black cape with the hood up, not looking so great.
The dragon slayers gave each other a silent nod before going to approach the girl.
Sting automatically knew something was wrong. Whenever he was around the girl, the dragon slayer could feel her light energy flow throughout his body.
But he...
Couldn't even sense her presence.
Tapping on her shoulder she gasped in fright, dropping the apple in her hand.
"Oh!"
"It's— It's you..."
The bluenette's legs gave out suddenly beginning to collapse as Sting jumped to catch her.
Holding her in his arms, his expression quickly changed from surprise to worry.
'What... happened to her?'
She was bruised, trembling, famished and dare he say it... dirty. This was not the Moonlight Mage they all came to know.
Looking up to Rogue, the duo gave each other another silent nod agreeing that they should take her back to their guild.
Scooping up the bluenette in his arms, the dragon slayer's made haste to the Sabertooth guild hall.
Sabertooth Infirmary
"Hey, she's waking up-"
"Outta the way-"
"Leave her be-"
Blinking her eyes open, Vyra's vision was foggy only able to make out colours and shapes.
"H-Happy?" The bluenette stuttered hearing the squeaking of a chair to her left
"Have to admit, you're pretty close on that one-"
That voice...
Wait-
It was all coming together.
Immediately, she forced herself up not worrying about the whiplash that was about to follow.
"Woah, woah sunshine, there's no reason to upright and leave... now is there?" The blonde aloofly teased causing her body to sink back down into the infirmary bed.
There were two dragon slayer's in the room right now, did she think she could get past them in her weakened state?
Yeah, I didn't think so.
"Vyra, oh thank goodness you're awake-"
The bluenette silently turned her head to face the celestial wizard that entered the room.
"Here, I brought a couple of extra blankets-"
She put the linens on the end of the girls bed. Yukino, such a sweet girl.
For the next few hours, different Sabertooth members entered the infirmary one at a time visiting the Moonlight Mage.
First Minerva, then Olga and so on.
But the whole time Vyra was silent, eyes focused on her hands. Her stomach clenched, she felt nauseous, deteriorated with an IV in her right arm.
Their voices soon turned into mumbles, completely drowning them out.
"Vyra-"
But whenever she heard his voice, it caught her attention immediately. She then turned her head to the blonde's direction.
"How about we all give her some space and call it a night-" Yukino began
"Vyra probably wants to relax, isn't that right?" She winked as the bluenette continued to stay silent.
"B-But I was about to whip up a brand new song!" Olga retaliated making the white haired girl frown, grabbing him by the ear
"Yeah, how about not-" She pulled him out the door
"OW OW OUCH YUKINO!"
Minerva smirked alongside Rogue following them out the door trying to hold back their laughter. (I ship them so much)
Sting stood up ready to follow them out, but was halted by a strong hand wrapped around his wrist. Eyes all widening in surprise, he watched her wavering figure before turning to the rest of the members
"Ehh, you all go on ahead-"
"I'll hang out here a bit longer-" The blonde dragon slayer laughed it off
With that, all of the other members of Sabertooth dispersed leaving the new master of the guild alone with the Moonlight mage.
"Aw, look at you wanting me to stay~" He teased her silent figure
His twisted grin dropped, the dragon slayer let out a sigh leaning back in the hospital chair with her grip still locked onto his wrist.
"Look Vyra, You gotta tell me what's going on-"
"When Rogue and I found you, you collapsed-"
"What's up?!"
"You can talk to me ya know that right?"
"..."
"Vyra-"
"H-He left..."
Sting's eyes widened at her response. Not Because of her answer, but because that was the first time she said something all day.
"Wait-"
"Who left?" He absentmindedly questioned as the bluenette gave him the 'You really don't know who I'm talking about' look.
With a light bulb figuratively floating over his head, the dragon slayer created a O shaped with this mouth coming to realization.
"H-He joined Avatar-"
"AVATAR?! YOU'RE KIDDING ME?!" The blonde spazzed as Vyra shot him a serious glare
"I'm sorry 'bout that-" He awkwardly scratched the back of his head leaning back in his chair
Realizing her mouth was starting to quiver with overwhelming emotion, she quickly pressed her lips together to stop it.
"I c-can't...do t-this a-anymore..."
'No, you're not going to cry in front of him-'
Sting immediately tried to step in, full on sensing the girl's emotion.
"Hey, hey, hey sunshine! Let's just take a sec-"
"Gray..." She went on fumbling with the blanket
"Erza..." Her lips quivered
"Jellal-" She sniffled
"A-And N-Natsu..." Her voice croaked thinking of her best friend
"THERE ALL GONE!" She scream cried to the blonde as tears began to spiral down her face leaving Sting a bit bewildered
Her long eyelashes were wet, brimmed to the rim with tears, cheeks puffy with her hands trying to cover them. This was it. She finally exploded.
Sting at this point, didn't know what to do. What could he do? Fairy Tail disbanded. He knew that. If he could bring them all back for the girl, he would in a heartbeat. Seeing her like this... made him sick.
"I can't imagine how it feels to be alone for so long... I've always had Lector or Rogue by my side..." The blonde began taking a seat on side of her infirmary bed
"I'm-"
"I'm sorry-"He gently wrapped his arms around her fragile body making the bluenette freeze before the second wave of emotion hit her, crying into his shoulders.
All the emotions she was holding in for months, were finally heard.
With minutes feeling like hours, her sobs began to soften.
"C-Crap... I'm s-sorry..." She sniffled lightly blushing in embarrassment looking at his soaking wet vest
"Nah, don't worry 'bout it-" Sting leaned back with a wave of his hand
"But...here-" He grabbed her tiny hands with his, transfusing light energy into her.
"I think this might help." Both of their bodies began to glow, making Vyra's eyes widen.
'This...'
'This light...' A blush spread across her cheeks
Hm... this seemed all too familiar to her. Almost like she's seen this before...
'But where...'
Back on Tartaros, against Jiemma... But it was vice versa. She was the one doing the healing.
"T-Thank you..." She whispered softly laying back down turning her body the opposite way
"Alright, you go get some rest sunshine-" Sting stretched getting up from the bed
"Listen-" He paused before making his way to the door
"I'll be outside if you need me-"
"..."
'Ah, back to the silence are we?'
"Your always welcome here Vyra-"
Scratching the back of his head, he looked out the window flustered.
"If you'd like to stay-"
Staring at the wall, Vyra closed her tear stained eyes cuddling into the knitted blanket.

A/N: Originally, this chapter was going to be a one shot between Vyra and Sting, but I feel like it fits really well within the story. I got a lot of suggestions on where Vyra would end up...
I couldn't have Vyra go with Natsu, b/c she's with Gray. Why would Vyra go with Natsu and leave Gray? It wouldn't make sense. Everyone found their own paths and Sabertooth was Vyra's. I hope you all continue on with Vyra's journey. Thank you all so much.
