Nico and I got up to the roof just to find that it was extremely windy. "What are we supposed to do with the wind!" I yelled over the wind.

"Not we, you!" Nico yelled. I looked at him confused.

"You can make a dome can't you?" He yelled.

"Uh, yeah, but…." Then it hit me. "Oh!" I raised my hands and the wind began to slow. Soon enough the wind was gone and a golden dome was circled around us.

"Thanks," Nico sighed.

"No problem," I smiled, Nico just rolled his eyes.

"Okay, I want to try something," Nico said, "You're using your curse when you have the dome up aren't you?"

"Yeah."

"I want you to try using your… what do you call it?"

"My good side and my bad side."

"Yes, exactly," Nico said.

"Uh, okay, but I've never tried that before."

"That's why I want you to try it now."

I watched as Nico backed up as far as he could. He then nodded. I nodded back and raised both my hands. One strengthening the dome, the other creating a darkness around me.

"Can you go any darker?" Nico asked.

"I can try," I said. I closed my eyes and focused on my hand and pictured the darkness around me making the light disappear even more.

I opened my eyes and I couldn't see Nico any more. "Nico?" I called.

"Yeah, I'm here," Nico responded.

"Is that dark enough?" I laughed.

"I might be the son of the god of darkness, but this is still kind of creepy," he said.

I started breathing heavily, this was taking tons of energy out of me and I've only been holding this much power for just a few seconds. "Can I huff take a break huff?" I asked.

"Sure."

As soon as Nico said that, I put my hands down and sank to my knees. "Are you okay?" He asked munching on a blue cookie.

"Yeah,I'm fine just a bit… tired," I said trying my best to stand up. Once I got up, I walked over to Nico just as he pulled another cookie out of a plastic baggie. "Dibs," I said tiredly.

"What's dibs?" He asked.

"You don't know what dibs is?" I said surprised.

"Well if you had forgotten, I was born in the 1730's and was stuck in a casino for about eighty years."

"I would still think you would know what dibs is." Nico just shrugged his shoulders.

He handed me a cookie and I started munching on it. "So, what is dibs?" Nico asked.

"It's some sort of game, I don't really know how to explain it though. Ask Will. He might know."

We sat in silence for a little while until I noticed something. "Hey, where did the wind go? I mean the dome went down when I ran out of energy."

"Yeah, hmm, don't know. Coincidence maybe?"

"There are no coincidences when you're like us," I said. With my guard up, I stood and looked over the edge of the building. What I saw shocked me. I recognized him from his description in HoO. It was Boreas, the north wind.
