Chapter 68 It's Complicated

It was Valentines day at the school and Shun was walking around with many boxes, he goes up to the girls of his group and said:"Happy Valentines day."he gives the boxes to each one.

"Oh thanks."Kara said.

"Happy Valentines day to you too Shun."Jessica smiled.

"Thanks, now theres more I gotta give treats."Shun runs off.

He then sees Tatsu at her locker."Happy Valentines day."he gives her one.

"Oh thanks Shun."Tatsu said.

He runs off and sees Harley and Pam."Happy Valentines day."he passes some to them,

"Thanks."they said.

He then sees Lois."Happy Valentines day."

"Oh thanks Shun."she smiled.

He then sees Carol and smiles, he runs up to her and sees a guy with her surprising him.

"Carol."he said and she saw him.

"Oh hello Shun."she said.

"Who's that?"he asked.

"This, Shun, is my new boyfriend."Carol said surprising him.

"Thaal Sinclair, pleasure to meet you."Thaal puts a hand up.

"Oh, yeah."Shun shakes it."Well I came to give you chocolate so happy Valentines day."he gives her a box.

"Oh thanks, we'll enjoy it."Carol said.

Shun frowns and walks away, Hal passes by him and said:"Oh hey Shun."he saw his look."What's wrong?"

"Oh nothing, Carol just got a boyfriend."Shun said.

"Wait what, after all the nice things you did to her."Hal looks at them."Don't I know that guy?"

"You seen him?"Shun asked.

"I think I do."Hal said."I'll have to remember that later."

Shun walks away and looks back one last time at the couple.

He was at the lunch room alone sitting at a table with a sigh, he then sees Jessica sitting in front of him."Shun is there something wrong?"

"Oh it's nothing."he said.

"Come on."she said.

"Fine, Carol has a new boyfriend."he said surprising her.

"What, even when you tried to be nice to her."Jessica said.

"I know right, I can't believe it, I actually started to enjoy her company and now she just looks to another guy."Shun said.

"You like her?"she got surprised.

"Yeah, she's creepy sometimes but she's actualy not a bad person."Shun said.

"Well you'll just have to wait."Jessica said."How about we go around the city for a walk after school."

"Okay."he said.

After school Jessica and Shun were walking out together and he was still sad.

"Hey guys."they saw Hal go up to them."Wow, he's really hurt."

"Yeah, Shun's been like this for a long time."Jessica said.

"Still don't know why she likes that other guy."Hal said.

"Let's go."she takes Shun with her with Hal following them.

They arrived at the park to see Carol and Thaal at a bench looking like they're in love, she was close to him and Shun looks down being hurt, Jessica growls and said:"That's it!"she takes Hal and goes up to them.

"Hal Jordan, Jessica Cruz, what are you two doing here?"Carol asked.

"I came to ask you something, why did you go to another guy after Shun has been nice to you all this time, even when he was actualy thinking acepting your feelings."Jessica said.

"Wait."she gets stunned before smiling."he likes me."

They got stunned and Jessica said:"What?"

"I can't believe it worked, I could never stay away from him Cruz, I just did all this to make Shun jealous."Carol said.

"Wow, that's totally Carol."Hal said.

"Sorry Thaal but I never loved you."Carol said.

He tears up before he said:"That's okay, Carol, because I never loved you, either."

"Wait what?"she said.

"It was never about me and you, Carol. It was about me and... Hal!"Thaal points at Hal.

"Wait what?!"Jessica said.

Thaal wipes his face to reveal red parts and Hal said:"Oh, no. No, no, no."

"Oh yes Hal, it's me. Not Thaal Sinclair, but Thaal Sinestro!"he then uses a yellow ring to reveal his lantern form.

"Surprised, Hal?"he said.

"So it was you."Hal said.

"I donned the color green, back when you and I were best buds! The most unstoppable team in the Green Lantern Corps! But that was before you ghosted me! Dropped off the face of the universe! Never called me back! You broke up the most beautiful bromance the universe has ever seen! Now, I shall finally have my revenge!"Sinestro laughs while Jessica and Hal changed."Now I shall take your girlfriend Jessica Cruz."

"Whoa, wait a moment, Jess isn't my girlfriend."Hal said.

"Really, then who is her boyfriend?"Sinestro said.

"Shun."Hal said and they heard a sound and looks to see Shun there with his head down almost looking dead."Hey buddy are you okay?"

He lifts his head up and his eyes were glowing black, then a black light appeared and made a black ring.

"Oh no."Jessica said.

Shun lifts his hand up and it attaches to his finger before making him get covered by a dark light."The Blackest Night falls from the skies. The darkness grows as all light dies. We crave your hearts and your demise. By my Black Hand, the dead shall rise!."he then makes a dark cloud covering the sky in darkness, then he appears in a black lantern outfit with his face being covered by a skull mask.

"Wait, that's a Black Lantern ring."Hal said shocked.

"Shun's a black lantern now."Carol gasps in tears."It's all my fault."

Shun roars before attacking Sinestro tackling him through the ground."What's wrong, I thought Yellow Lanterns were supposed to be stronger than this."

"Let me go, you Black Lantern."he blasts Shun away who was now in mid air.

He then twists his body around and glares at Sinestro before he makes many weapons that belonged to Gammaizers before he sends them all at Sinestro, who makes a shield to block them but gets pushed back, then the Gammaizers came with Shun's face.

"Threat detected."they then start to blast at Sinestro.

"Whoa, where did all these guys appear?"Hal said looking at them.

"So many Shuns."Carol got excited.

"Not now."Jessica said.

The Gammaizers then went around the area and make a barrier seperating them from the city.

"You wanted to take what is mine, my girls, my loves."Shun gets angry before another glow appeared being orange.

"Oh no, no no no."Hal said.

Then it goes to Shun and he points it up."The power is mine, this is my light. Be it in bright of day or black of night. I lay claim to all that falls within my sight. To take what I want, that is my right!"Another beam came out and he transforms into a Orange Lantern.

"Not a orange lantern."Hal said.

"You know them?"Jessica said.

"Yeah met this guy, he said his ring is powered by greed, looks like Shun's own greed of having you girls made him a target for them."Hal said.

Shun then blasts Sinestro back and he was on the floor."This is so much fun, all this power is mine!"

"How can one person be picked for two lantern rings."Sinestro said.

"What can I say, everything belongs to me."Shun said with a grin."I think I should go even bigger."he takes out the black ring.

"Wait, what are you doing?"Sinestro said worried.

Shun laughs and puts the two rings together glowing from both powers."Sinestro."a shadow covers him."Meet the Black and Orange Lantern."Shun was now wearing the skull mask again with the body being the mix of both suits, the arms had the orange parts of the Orange Lantern while the legs were the black one.

He then charges at Sinestro shooting many beams at him from both rings.

"We gotta stop him."Jessica said.

They then fly around Shun and Jess made a shield."Shun please calm down.

"Why, when you are mine, he tried to take what is mine."he then sends a shockwave sending them all to the ground.

"Hey buddy, come on, how about you be a Green Lantern instead were much cooler."Hal said.

"Well how about I take your ring instead."Shun charges at Hal making both of them clash as Hal makes a bat to hit Shun but he makes a spiked mace destroying it.

"Shun please stop."Carol said and she throws a heart at him but he stops it with one hand before crushing it.

"Thank you for giving me your heart, with all this power I can go even higher, maybe go to the strongest source."Shun said.

"Strongest Source?"Jess said before she gasped."You mean?"

"Yes, the white lanterns."he said making them gasp.

"But how did you know about them?"Sinestro said.

"The black ring gave me all the knowledge I needed, now if I keep getting stronger I'll be able to to face them and get one for myself becoming the most powerful being in existance."Shun then laughs."Now begone Sinestro."he then makes many weapons from both of his rings.

"No!"Jess then tackles Shun making him surprised.

"Let me go."he said.

"No, Shun isn't you, do you think your family or the others would want you to become someone that is not you, please wake up."Jess cries.

Shun then remembers something his mother told him."No matter how far we are, we will always be there to give you hope, don't forget about that my son."

Then his eyes widen and he said:"this isn't me!"

Then a blue light appeared and goes to Shun pushing Jessica away, she then sees the two rings fall to the ground.

"In fearful day, in raging night, With strong hearts full, our souls ignite, When all seems lost in the War of Light, Look to the stars, For hope burns bright!"then a blue light came out of him and then he appeared as a Blue Lantern.

Shun looks at himself and said:"Hey I like this one better."

"Shun."Carol smiled.

"He's a Blue Lantern."Jessica smiled.

"Wow, so that's how they look like."Hal said.

Sinestro got angry and charges at Shun, he then tackles him and said:"Now your a blue Lantern, just perfect your now the weakest out of all of us."

"Oh yeah."Shun then kicks him away.

He then summons his driver and inserts the specter eyecon.

EYE! BATCHIRIMIRO! BATCHIRIMIRO! BATCHIRIMIRO!

"Henshin."he pulls the lever.

KAIGAN! SPECTER! READY GO! KAKUGO! DO KI DO KI! GHOST!

The parka attaches to him but he still has the same body suit of the Blue Lantern just wearing the parka and helmet.

Sinestro got shocked and he charges at Shun who summoned his Gan Gun Hand and hits Sinestro away, he then goes to Jessica's side and offers her a hand."Let's fight together."

"But Shun."Jessica said.

"Just lend me your powers."he said and she nodded.

They hold hands and they're powers merge together making both lights combine.

"It's true, when the Green and Blue Lanterns combine they become much stronger."Sinestro was worried.

Specter then puts the weapon on his belt while in Gun mode.

DAI KAIGAN! GAN GAN MIRO! GAN GAN MIRO!

He charges up with blue and green energy making Sinestro charge his own beam, he fires and Specter does the same.

OMEGA SPARK!

He shoots a beam of both energies making a clash before he overpowered Sinestro sending him to the ground knocked out.

Jessica and Specter smiles at each other before Carol grabs him from behind."That was amazing Shun."she then kisses him on the cheek.

"Okay okay."he then goes to pick up the other rings."I'll be keeping these away."

"Well they picked you, so they'll just come back."Hal said.

"Also maybe you should talk to your former friend."Jessica said.

"Yeah."he said.

Specter then has the Gammaizers leave making the barrier vanish.

Shun transforms back and then Carol starts to kiss him on the lips."Yes, I knew you picked me."

"Hey Carol!"Jessica said and she tries to get her off of him but she held on Shun tightly while kissing him.

Later Shun puts the three rings in a box keeping them away from danger and he goes to bed.

He still remembers this dream he had a few days ago.

Flashback

When he opened his eyes he saw himself as build and he saw all the Heisei riders there looking confused.

"Hey Ghost what's going on?"Build asked him.

"I don't know."Ghost said.

"Decade what just happened?"Faiz said.

"We are finally ready to meet each other since we were waiting until all of you were strong enough to know that exist other riders in different worlds."Decade said surprising some of them."some of you knew while the others didn't."

Ghost remembers the Another rider.

"We will meet again in the real world but until then I should warn some of you that theres a danger that will appear soon and that we will have to work together, so can I trust on you."Decade said.

They look at each other and they said:"yes."

"Good, we'll meet again."Decade said and they all did they're poses and the dream ended.

Flashback ends.

"I wonder when will we meet again."Shun said before going to sleep.

Note:heres the Valentines special ep from the series, I added it here for being the last day and Shun got three Lantern rings, the Black, Orange and Blue ones, Black picked him for being half ghost and for feeling dead in the inside because of Carol's trick, also to those that's been asking about how Johnny and Kitty were there they can come since Shun is the king of there ghost world.
