Money in the Bank: 18/7/2010

WWE Money in the Bank was live at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, actual pay-per-view opened with the Money in the Bank ladder match for a World Heavyweight Championship match contract, which involved Big Show, Matt Hardy, Christian, Kane, Kofi Kingston, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler. Midway through the match, Kingston performed a Boom Drop off a ladder on McIntyre through a broadcast table. Big Show climbed a super-sized ladder he had set up, but Kane pushed the ladder over and Christian and Rhodes buried Big Show under multiple ladders. In the end, McIntyre attempted to retrieve the briefcase, but Kane performed a chokeslam off the ladder on McIntyre and retrieved the briefcase to win the match.

Next, Alicia Fox defended the WWE Divas Championship against Eve Torres. In the end, Fox performed a scissors kick on Eve to retain the title.

After that, The Hart Dynasty defended the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship against The Usos. Smith forced Jimmy to submit to the sharpshooter to retain the title.

Next up was the World Heavyweight Championship match. It's the Bladewolf vs Rey Mysterio.

In the arena, Rey Mysterio's theme hits and out comes the challenger for the title who won the right to face the Bladewolf at Fatal 4-Way. Mysterio does his usual entrance as he walks down the ramp and hugs several fans, giving a fan one of his shirts and entrance masks but not his real mask obviously. Mysterio enters the ring and takes a deep breath as he paces back and fourth.

OOOOWHOOOOOO!

The Devil's Wolf hit to cheers from the fans as the lights dimmed to the sinister blood red and out comes the Bladewolf with Trish Stratus at his side and the World Heavyweight Championship on his left shoulder. They pause on the stage and Trish circles her husband, running her hand across his chest, back, and shoulders before seductively leaning against him then arched her back in a seductive manner before she begins sauntering forward with a sway in her hips, the Bladewolf walking beside her.

They reach the ring and Bladewolf gets onto the apron, holding the ropes open for Trish who seductively gets in, getting wolf whistles from the fans. Bladewolf's theme dies down as he takes his coat off and hands it to Trish, then shoves his title into the referee's hands before getting in the corner while Trish gets out the ring and stands at ringside.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Right off the bat Mysterio ran and unloads on the World Heavyweight Champion before being shoved back by the Champion. Mysterio knew he had to keep well away from Bladewolf's grabs as that is when he can take control and dominate. Mysterio uses his quickness and speed to avoid Bladewolf, knowing that is what is needed to try and take the big man off his feet. Bladewolf was able to back Mysterio into a corner and went for a hard right but Mysterio avoided it and quickly unloads with a fury of lefts and rights and some kicks before he backs off. Bladewolf flips his hair back and storms towards Mysterio who quickly avoids it and dropkicks Bladewolf in the chest hard enough to send him into the corner but he comes right back with a big boot to Mysterio's head, flooring the former World Heavyweight Champion.

Bladewolf looks down at Mysterio and grabs him before tossing him into the corner, unloading with lefts and rights on Mysterio before finishing with a hard boot to the stomach. Bladewolf uppercuts Mysterio before pulling him close and hits a belly-to-belly suplex across the ring and gets to his feet. Bladewolf walks over and picks Mysterio up but Mysterio gets out of the hold, rebounds off the ropes and leaps up...AND HITS A HURRICARANA ON THE BLADEWOLF!

Mysterio quickly got to the top rope...AND JUMPS OFF WITH A FROG SPLASH! Mysterio picks Bladewolf up and gets him into the corner but Bladewolf knees him in the stomach, then gets behind him and hits a German Suplex which sent Mysterio flying. Mysterio got to his feet, runs...BUT IS LIFTED UP AND HIT WITH THE FURY OF THE WOLF! HE HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THREE! BLADEWOLF RETAINS THE TITLE!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

The Devil's Wolf plays as Bladewolf flips his hair back and stand sup. Suddenly the pyro explodes and out comes Kane with the Money in the Bank briefcase he won earlier. Kane enters the ring and boots his brother down before handing the briefcase to the referee. The referee tells the announced that Kane was cashing in!

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Kane is cashing in his Money in the Bank contract! Therefore this next match is for the World Heavyweight Championship!"

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Bladewolf walked towards Kane, confused...BUT IS GRABBED BY THE THROAT! Kane lifts Bladewolf up...AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM! Kane glares down at his brother before grabbing him by the throat, picks him up again...AND PLANTS HIM WITH A SECOND CHOKESLAM! Kane's expression remained blank as he grabs his brothers, scoops him upside down...AND HITS THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! HE HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THREE! WE HAVE A NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Kane's theme played as he is given the World Heavyweight Title and he raises it, standing tall over Bladewolf before he leaves the ring and heads to the back as Trish tends to her husband...

Yeah, that just happened. Bladewolf's reign has ended at 168 days.
