"So what's the plan, sunny day?" Sting comically proclaimed turning his head over to the girl as she lazily rolled her eyes scoffing at his childish yet adorable antics

The duo were currently laying on top of a hill overlooking the small village below. They made it to Sahara Town where their job request took place.

Sting groaned out of boredom, lightly slamming his head down a top the dirt they've been uncomfortably lying on for the past three hours.

Since when did this become a stakeout mission?

Shifting closer to the ground, the moonlight mage pulled out a pair of binoculars from her bag leaning on her elbows trying to get a better view of who they were looking for.

The dark guild Succubus Eye.

"Sorry to say, but you're a guild master now-" She turned with a smirk catching his eye

"You can't just go around destroying villages as you please. Even if it's for the sake of saving someone-"

"You have responsibilities now-" She winked as he let out a sigh followed by a facepalm.

Sting was no idiot, he knew that... but his impatience was starting to spiral.

Being one of the youngest guild masters in Fiore, many took the dragon slayer for a joke. Such as the magic council, other guilds and even some civilians. Why should they have to listen to what a kid had to say?

Although the blonde wouldn't admit it, he was very insecure about that subject.

Vyra, noticing his fidgetiness and silence, turned her attention towards him putting her binoculars down.

She lifted her hand and gingerly placed it on his cheek. Surprised by the action at first, Sting ultimately found himself leaning into the touch. That was something he liked about Vyra, she was very gentle with her touches... Well, when she wanted to at least. Suddenly the girl pinched his cheek making the blonde yelp in pain.

"Ouch!"

Heh. Should have seen that coming. The dragon slayer rubbed his cheek and scowled at her. He was about to complain, but stopped short when he locked eyes with her.

Both of their bright blue eyes caught each other. Not a word was spoken as if they were stuck in a trace.

Leaning in interrupting the moment, Vyra planted a sweet kiss on his right cheek (The one she just pinched) making the boy blink in surprise

Knowing how he felt by the uneasiness of his light magic, Vyra went on to try and cheer him up.

"You're a great guild master Sting-"

"..."

"You know you are..."

"Right?" She questioned watching his silent figure

...

"Hey-"

"Sting?!" She shoved his shoulder as he slowly shifted his head over to the left, a small smirk starting to form

"Thanks babe-" He slugged a welcoming arm over her shoulders holding her body close to his, kissing the side of her head making her cheeks instantly warm up

'Babe...' Vyra thought with rosy red cheeks trying to keep focus of Succubus Eye, although it was insanely difficult

Gray didn't even call her that when they were together.

'Yeah...Gray...' Her eyes looked down to the patchy grass they were laying upon

Her Fairy Tail family...

"Give em' here-" Sting snatched the binoculars out of her hands looking through them as if was his turn to finally take charge

"H-Hey!" She defended slightly enraged that he took them from her without asking

Being a secret agent was thrilling in her eyes. Although she did feel bad taking in all the glory. It was time for the blonde to have a little fun.

Switching positions, she let Sting check out the town through the small device. Laying back, Vyra decided to soak in some beautiful sunlight. The sizzling feeling of the warmth hitting her skin. Ah, it was wonderful.

"What the-"

"What the heck?" The dragon slayer abruptly stood up causing Vyra to wink open an eye

Judging by his demeanor, Vyra grew worried. He looked clammy with sweat starting to drip down his forehead

"What's up?" Vyra lifted up her head leaning on her hands to supporting herself

Silence.

Man, something has really shaken him up.

"Sting-" She repeated with more sternness in her voice

To have him out of all people grow stiff, makes her weary.

"Over there, t-to the left-" He handed her the binoculars placing it in her hands

Grabbing them without hesitation, she raised them to her eyes turning her attention to the coordinates the boy spoke of.

To the left, to the left, to the left...

"Come on, what could be so-"

Her voice was cut off now noticing what got the dragon slayers scales so ruffled up.

Oh.

Well-

This definitely wasn't good.

Catching Succubus Eye was the goal. Yes, but never in the couples mind would they imagine to see Avatar members in town. Their dark green hoods with white lining, having their guild mark across the shoulder. Yeah, that's them alright.

"So... what should we do?" Vyra questioned looking over to the dragon slayer

Well obviously they couldn't just walk away from this. Being a guild master in general, Sting didn't hesitate one bit. It's a duty that he as a guild master and as a wizard, had to fulfil. Maybe if they didn't get to ambush them, they could gather entail and report it to the magic council.

"Let's go-" He spoke with haste causing Vyra to jump up

"Right!"

Sahara Town

"Why the heck are Avatar members here? It doesn't make any sense-"

Disguising themselves in street clothing, Sting and Vyra blended in perfectly. If anyone was to realize that they are from a guild... let alone that a guild master was present, all eyes would be on them.

Avatar and Succubus Eye...

Yikes.

"Your guess is as good as mine-" Sting replied looking around the town under his hood

"Well, everything seems normal-" Vyra whispered before her legs suddenly began to tremble on their own

Huh?

BRRRRUMMMMBBBBBLEEE

Guess they spoke so soon.

With the ground quaking, Sting grabbed the girl's arm as she dramatically fell into his chest.

"You okay?" He questioned in worry strongly gaining their ground

"What's happening?" She shouted causing Sting to sniff the air as he made a not so pleasant expression. In Particular, there was a scent in the air that he didn't like very much.

There was a turbulent amount of wind whipping her hair in the air as she struggled to pull down her fluttering romper.

How embarrassing.

With Sting distracted realizing the other familiar scents, the blonde took off in a sprint.

"Wait!"

"STING!" Vyra ripped off her cape proceeding to run after the dragon slayer

'What is up with him?'

Once arriving at their destination, all the bluenette could do was gawk.

They were all here.

Natsu, Lucy, Wendy...

Happy, Carla.

Erza-

Gray.

Fighting off the Avatar wizards. Together.

Was she dreaming? Was all of this real? No, It couldn't be-

"Sunshine-"

...

"Vee-"

. . .

"VYRA!"

Snapping out of her thoughts, the bluenette's attention was then focused on his voice. Her brain felt like it was going to explode, ears ringing. Forcefully grabbing a hold of her shoulders, Sting stared into the fogginess of her eyes. Her normal bright blue ravishing ones were dark and scarily dull.

"Vyra hey-" He grabbed her face with his hand

The colour in the girls cheeks slowly began to come back, leaving the blonde to let out a slight sigh of relief

"Good, your all still you-"

"Y-Yeah-" She gasped out of her dry throat, eyes lingering on the Ex Fairy Tail team

She watched each and every Fairy Tail member clash against Avatar.

Fire, Ice, Wind, Spirits, swords... and even cats

Sting, watching the distressed girl hesitated with his next sentence. Other people would probably laugh saying that his feelings were too strong, but he-

He loved the girl. The dragon slayer was absolutely enthralled with her being since the very first day they met. Fairy Tail was her home. As much as she retaliated, saying that she doesn't need them...

He could see straight through that lie.

He knew that, hell yeah she did.

Shaking off the uneasiness, he had to be strong. For her.

"I say we help em' out and make a grand entrance... Whatcha say?"

The only thing the bluenette could do was nod in agreement not having words to speak. Encountering Natsu, Lucy and Wendy were one thing-

but Erza... and Gray...

She hasn't seen Erza since the guild... and well...

We all know what happened with Gray...

Seeing shards of his ice in the bluenette's peripheral vision, Vyra's senses were heightened. She couldn't do it. There's no way she could look at him.

She was angry, furious and absolutely outraged. He made her sick to her stomach. But putting all those emotions aside for now, the moonlight mage knew what she had to do.

Grabbing a strong hold of the blonde's hand, she squeezed it tight transforming into her sunlight form as he switched into dragon force.

Immediately after, The brightest beam of light shot out through the forest grazing the ground taking out several Avatar members catching everyone's attention in the vicinity

"Woah! What the heck?!" Lucy spazzed dodge rolling for her life almost getting hit

Heads turning, they watched the Sabertooth duo enter the fight with a veil of white light surrounding them

"Vyra!" Wendy squealed tears welling up in her eyes being the first one to make an auditable comment.

Hearing the shout, time felt as if it was in slow motion for the ice mage.

Turning his body, there was the love of his life in her beautiful sunlight form. Guilt started to overflow his body gawking at the bluenette. Too caught up in the moment, Gray flew backward getting pelted in the face by the enemy.

Continuing on with the tasks at hand, Gray went onto now aggressively defeating the Avatar members

'What the hell?'

'Why the hell-'

'Is she a member of Sabertooth?!' He watched the scene below in mid air

Back on the ground, Vyra kept her focus, keeping a level head.

"You ready?" Sting asked standing alongside her

"Yeah-"

The Sabertooth duo shined brighter than they've ever had before. If anyone were to stare directly at them, they would probably go blind.

"Everyone! Shield your eyes!"

"Sir!" All the men hurriedly snapped their hands over their faces...

But it was too late.

Unison Raid: SUNLIGHT SHIMMERING BARRAGE!

"AHHHHH!"

The men soon flew in the air like bowling pins. Completely hilarious.

"And that's how you do it...Sabertooth style~" Sting lightly stepped on one of the Avatar junkies shoulders making the bluenette lightly scoff at his confidence.

But that smile immediately dropped when a familiar voice shouted out to her.

Dammit.

"Vyra-"

.

.

.

"Erza..."

A/N: I specifically made Sting use every other nickname he could instead of Vy. Sunshine, Sunny Day, V or Vee, Vyra... It's something unique to the two of them. Also notice how he doesn't have moonlight nicknames, only sunlight? Yeah there's reasons.
