As for where we could start, well that was no difficulty at all. There was plenty to do; and it was constant. It was riots arson and every other bit of madness as you might well expect. We could bash away all day and not touch it. Mephisto had done his devil's work well; and now we were in his kitchen of hell to put it that way.

I let sis lead with her instincts. As I told her to do. It didn't take her too long to get the... swing of it. Get it? Heh.

She was a natural. She's a Parker; and a spider too. That's always gonna be the winning combo.

She landed right among some punks going at each other. It didn't really matter who started it or why. Teresa started kicking butt without any words. I clung to a wall in the shadows and just watched on. This was her fight.

"Stop this crap now!" she said but obviously they didn't care. That was okay. She needed the practice anyway. She followed her sense as suggested she do; and became yet another acrobatic improviser. Teresa laid the spider down on them. She just went with her gut. It was highly effective. She'd gone through all that training but if she'd just had the powers otherwise all would have been better. She wouldn't have needed training at all.

The spider path was the ultimate shortcut. I was now starting to realize that. And as I saw sis fight I couldn't help but wonder... what if I made more people spider men and women? Did it matter if we all called ourselves that? Well, no. I'd always be the original king spider as was my accidental honor to be.

I could make the other heroes all spiders too. Why not? Even Matt. The serum could likely cure his blindness and make him spider devil. Could give it to any other hero that wanted it too. The serum was very adaptable. It was designed to create the ultimate spider person. It could work...

Would the wifey go for it too...? She'd indicated her doubt. But if they all became spiders like yours truly; mutated upgraded again as such by the big tetragrammaton guy... then it could work for everyone else too.

I mean yeah it was cool for the heroes to have all these power varieties and such; but mutates hadn't asked for what happened to them. And even mutant abilities overlapped to a great extent.

My mind pondered these things as I did...actually very little to help sis. She was proving herself to be the new sheriff in town. And as she did so my ever brilliant mind wandered. If the spiders were all over the kitchen and the greater city we'd change everything for the better.

We still had to find the other heroes of course. We still didn't know who was who or what was what. Fisk was maggot meat thanks to sis; until Mephisto brought him back of course. Hadn't told her that. Won't either. Her morale was good. Wanted to keep it that way.

"All right morons get out of here," she said with spider finality to the beaten remainder. They took a hint. It was done well and right. She had laid them all out with foot and fist; webs here and there. Oh yeah.

I fancily back flipped away from the building wall and landed on my ever magical feet. "Sis; that was seriously awesome." "You're right Pete. It is mostly instinctive. The sense doesn't just warn me of danger; it also guides my actions."

"It's a lot like the force; really. Old Ben Kenobi told Luke the force both controls your actions and obeys your commands. Similar deal to the Jedi. True that." Sis came over and fist bumped her spider bro.

"We can change the world Pete. Starting right here." "Right." I told her about the other potential spider people. "Steve Rogers and Tony Stark as spider men...?" I shrugged. "Why not?" That and what if were the great questions of all scientists.

We looked around at all the morons she'd laid out. She pulled off her mask. "We sure as hell need something."

Plus I could think of no better way to piss off Mephisto than to create an entire spider legion... Now we're talking! The spiders would indeed become the new law around here. I was the spider marshal and they were my spider deputies. And best of all we didn't need guns or weapons. Our stuff was genetically built right into us. The spider powers were cool and handy.
