RAW: 27/8/2007

Monday Night RAW was live at the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. Randy Orton's music hit and he came out to the ring looking quite obviously disappointed. The crowd heat folks, is off the charts and Orton's facial expressions were pretty fucking genuine.

Orton said he spent the entire day in church. Orton said he was there because he was convinced he saw a miracle, and that was the Bladewolf still walking out the WWE Champion. Orton said he had an epiphany today and that he knew he should've won and should be WWE Champion. He said though, the guy who should be on his knees and thanking god that he survived last night was the Bladewolf. He said he should thank god he didn't end Bladewolf's career like he did everyone before Bladewolf. He said the next time, Bladewolf wouldn't be so lucky.

He said there would be a next time and he'd be demanding a rematch for the WWE title. He said Orton would either come out here and accept the challenge or two... John Cena's music hits and the crowd explodes for the hometown boy who comes down the ring and grabs a microphone.

Cena straight up tells him to shut up and stop complaining. Cena said he watched the match last night and it was a pretty epic match, he thought for sure Orton would be the one to dethrone the Bladewolf and end his reign, but he didn't get the job done. Cena told Orton to face facts, he lost at SumemrSlam, now somebody else takes the front of the line while he goes to the back and earns another shot.

Orton told him to get the hell out of his ring as this doesn't concern him. Orton then brought him Cena's history in challenging the Bladewolf, and how every results ended with Bladewolf beating him. Orton told him Cena could never beat the Bladewolf and never has, non-title or not.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

'Oh, ah, ah, ah, ah! Get up, come on get down with the sickness!'

Down with the Sickness plays to a loud pop and out comes the Bladewolf with the WWE Championship around his waist, baseball bat in his right hand. He makes his way down to the ring and pauses at the apron, staring straight at Orton with a cold look on his face. Bladewolf climbs onto the ring apron then enters through the second rope and stare Orton down once he was inside the ring.

Bladewolf pulls a microphone out of his coat and stares Orton down as he speaks. "Why did I get the feeling you would pull something like this, Randy? You come out here in front of these people and whine and complain about how things were unfair on you. Newsflash, you knocked out the referee, gave me three RKOs, one of which was on a chair...and you STILL didn't win. I'm not shamed to admit that if you hit that punt kick, then you would've won. Look at everyone else you've put out with that kick, Shawn Michaels, Rob Van Damn, Sgt. Slaughter, Legends in this business and you live up the name of Legend Killer...but you didn't kill me last night, did you? No, I destroyed the Legend Killer because I am a conqueror in this company. Every cocky and arrogant man that has stepped into this ring with me have fallen. If you stand before me...you will fall before me."

He backs up from Orton and looks at Cena. "And you...you have to be one of the most persistent men in this business. How many times have I beaten you, John? how many times has it been for the title? And now, you want another shot?" He chuckles, shaking his head. "I'm in a bit of a pickle here. I could face Randy Orton in a SummerSlam rematch..." He pauses as the fans booed that loudly. "OR...or I could face Triple H." The crowd cheered for that idea as they hadn't seen Bladewolf vs Triple H since WrestleMania 22. "Or...I could face the hometown boy, John Cena tonight?" The crow dpopped loudly at that idea. "BUT, if we are to fight, Cena...it would have to be non-title. If you beat me, I'll give you the shot at Unforgiven."

Before Cena could reply, Orton spoke up. "No! No! No! Cena, don't you DARE accept this match!" Orton got in Bladewolf's face and they glared each other down. "You know deep down that I deserve a shot once more, that I can beat you! Where's the Bladewolf who wouldn't care how many people he faced? Where's the masked demon I fought earlier this year, huh? Where's the Bladewolf who was feared by everyone for ten years? you think this new change in you is the same Bladewolf just because you merged the demon with some other side? Why don't you fully embrace what you are and stop hiding from it?!"

Bladewolf stared Orton down but before he could say anything, William Regal's music hits and out comes the RAW GM. "Bladewolf, you don't make the matches around here...I do!" Regal said and Bladewolf rolled his eyes. "Now, I have to admit the matches you proposed against John Cena and Triple H sound Main Event worthy. So here's what's going to happen, Triple H won't be facing Bladewolf tonight, instead the Main Event will be John Cena vs the Bladewolf in a non-title match up! If Mr. Cena wins, then he gets a WWE title shot at Unforgiven!"

The crowd popped as Bladewolf and Cena stared each other down while Orton didn't look too happy. He went to hit an RKO on Bladewolf but got shoved off into Cena who lifts Orton up...AND HITS THE FU! Orton rolls out the ring and retreats as Cena and Bladewolf stand tall...

Later

The Main Event had finally arrived. It was time for Bladewolf vs John Cena in a non-title match. If Cena wins, he gets a shot at the WWE Title at Unforgiven. Cena's theme hits in the arena and out comes the man who looks to earn another shot at the title. He does his salute then runs down the ramp towards the ring, slides into the ring and throws his hat off.

Cena points to his father in the crowd as his theme dies down.

He makes his way down to the ring and places his bat against the steel steps before he rolls into the ring and faces Cena. Bladewolf's theme dies down as he takes off his coat and tosses it aside, then hands his title to the referee who hands it to someone at ringside.

The referee checks both men before he calls for the bell.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Bladewolf and Cena circle each other before they lock up and have a test of strength, which is broken when Bladewolf knees Cena in the stomach then elbows him in the side of the head, sending Cena to a knee. Bladewolf grabs Cena from behind and goes for a German Suplex but Cena elbows him in the side of the head, making him release Cena. Cena runs and takes Bladewolf down from behind and starts stomping on the WWE Champion.

Cena grabs Bladewolf and rams his head into the turnbuckle before he hits several lefts and right punches. He stomps on the stomach of the Bladewolf, forcing him down to sit on the bottom turnbuckle. Cena headbutts Bladewolf before he locks in a headlock then hits a running bulldog, going for the cover but Bladewolf kicks out at two.

Cena gets to his feet and hit several stomps on the Bladewolf before dropping a right punch down to the WWE Champion's head. Bladewolf clutched his forehead as cena grabs him and whips him into the ropes, goes for a right but Bladewolf ducks it, rebounds off the ropes and takes Cena down with a running clothesline, rebounds off the ropes again and hits a running elbow drop to Cena's chest. he gets to his feet, runs off the ropes again and hits a leg dropa cross Cena's throat, hooking the leg but Cena kicks out at two.

Bladewolf gets to his feet and grabs Cena from behind, hitting a German Suplex, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another. Bladewolf goes fr the cover but Cena kicks out again at two. Bladewolf sighs before he starts hammering away at the forehead of John Cena, then hits a headbutt.

Bladewolf grabs Cena who suddenly lifts him up and hits a back body drop. Cena started to get into his victory sequence as he clotheslines Bladewolf twice, ducks a right, lifts him up and drops the Bladewolf onto his back before raising his right arm as the crowd cheered loudly for the hometown boy. Cena smirked then did the 'You can't see me!', rebounds off the ropes...AND HITS THE FIVE-KNUCKLE SHUFFLE!

Bladewolf stumbles to his feet and turns around only to be lifted up...AND HIT WITH THE FU! Cena doesn't gof or the pin, instead he gets to his feet, pulls Bladeowlf to his, lifts him up again...AND HITS A SECOND FU! Cena does this a third time...AND HITS A THIRD FU! HE HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THREE! CENA DOES IT! CENA HAS BEATEN THE BLADEWOLF!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

My Time is Now plays as Cena celebrates his win before eh turns around...INTO AN RKO! Randy Orton stood over Cena with angry brreaths. Earlier, Orton had gone to Vince McMahon to get a rematch with the Bladewolf at Unforgiven but McMahon told him to prove that he really wanted that match.

So Orton was going to do just that.

Orton turns, runs...AND HITS BLADEWOLF WITH THE PUNT KICK! Bladewolf was knocked out cold and laid on his back. Orton quickly shot out of the ring and dragged Cena's father over the railing.

Orton turned his back for a moment befor ehe turned, ran...AND PUNT'S CENA'S FATHER IN THE HEAD! HE JUST PUNKED JOHN CENA'S FATHER IN THE HEAD!

Cena recovered enough and flew out to his father's side looking like he was going to cry. Orton walked up the ramp with a huge smile on his face. Bladewolf laid in the ring, not moving at all as he was tended to.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

The lights go out for a few seconds and when they came back on...THE BLADEWOLF WAS GONE!

RAW went off the air with this scene...

And that's it for this chapter. John Cena finally defeats the Bladewolf and shows that he can do it if it was for the title. So Cena gets his match, but Randy Orton just made it personal by punting Cena's father, kicking off one of WWE's grratest rivalries and seeming making a new one with Orton and Bladewolf at the same time.

The punt kick will be instrumental in the storyline.
