Tracey looked over at Luz and grabbed the cuffs. She broke them as if they were made of paper. Luz rubbed her wrist and smiled.
"I think we end this." Luz said.
"I couldn't agree more." Tracey said.
Nathaniel started to get up and looked at them. He started seething in anger.
"I don't care how strong you are. You can't stop me alone!" He screamed.
A black mist appeared to his side and Heather was standing there when it disappeared. She hissed at him, showing him her Royal Style Fangs (If you know, you know). On his other side, Emily, who finished her spell circle, completed her teleportation spell and pointed a finger at him. Luz smiled.
"For fourteen years, you've targeted me. You've tried to kill me, you've tried to kill my family, you've tried to kill my friends... You forced me to hide who I really am! You always hid in the shadows and had other's do your dirty work! Now, you have nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, and no one to help you! How does it feel to be weak, worthless, and pathetic?! Everything you thought about me!" Luz looked at the other three and smiled, "Everything that's going to happen now... is fourteen years of payback!"
Luz held out her hand and her staff materialized. She slammed the base of it on the ground and released a powerful blast of magic, breaking her Illusion spell. When the magic dissipated, her eyes were glowing gold. This wasn't just Luz that he was about to face, this was Luz Gabriella Belos; Princess of the Boiling Isles. The girl that vowed to protect the Isles. She was going to keep that vow... by killing this heartless bastard, secret be damned. Luz charged at him and slammed her staff against him. He kicked her in the stomach and she fell to the floor. Heather and Emily ran at him, normal and shadow magic at the ready. He ducked their attacks and hit Emily with an elbow while grabbing Heather by the neck.
"I don't know how a leech like you got here, but I'll make sure another one of your kind comes-"
Heather snapped her fingers and disappeared. Nathaniel was hit hard from behind and Heather smiled.
"Like my Shadow Clone? I've spent the past week working on it. Only problem..." Heather flashed her fangs, "It makes me hungry."
She ran at him and knocked him to the ground. She got on top of him and hissed, ready to bring her fangs down. He grabbed something red and tossed it into her mouth. Heather held her throat and started dry heaving. Nathaniel easily knocked her off and stood up.
"How does that feel Leech? Nothing is more toxic to a vampire than Griffin Blood." Nathaniel said.
Nathaniel stepped on the back of Heather's neck and laughed.
"Shame, your fangs indicate that you're from a royal lineage. I thought you would've been powerful then. Shame."
Nathaniel was hit in the head by Luz's staff and it flew back into her hand.
"Leave her alone."
Nathaniel got off of her neck and walked towards Luz.
"You, a single half-witch, think you can take me? A full, adult, witch. A witch who has far stronger magic. You think you can take me? By yourself?"
"She's not by herself." Emily said, walking next to Luz, "She's got the other half-witch in the family."
Nathaniel laughed.
"You think you two can beat me? You're delusional."
What he didn't know, was there was a short-ranged teleportation portal opening behind him. Something only powerful witches... and demons... can open. Tracey jumped out of the Portal and hit his back with her feet. He gets pushed towards them and Luz swung her staff like a baseball bat and hit him in the head. He landed at Emily's feet and she made a spell circle. Only, instead of orange, it was black. Undead arms shot out of the ground and grabbed him.
"Courtesy of Uncle Alex and the Black Magic book he gave me." Emily said.
Nathaniel held out his finger. He still had a few tricks up his sleeve.
Okay, this is taking a little longer than I thought it would, so I'll split this into two chapters. On the bright side, I can announce the winner of the poll.
