SummerSlam: 15/8/2010
WWE SummerSlam was live at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, actual pay-per-view opened with Dolph Ziggler defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Kofi Kingston. The match ended in a no-contest after The Nexus attacked both competitors.
Next, Alicia Fox defended the Divas Championship against Melina. Melina executed a snapmare driver on Fox to win the title. Post match, co-Women's Champions LayCool (Layla and Michelle McCool) attacked Melina.
After that, The Straight Edge Society (CM Punk, Joey Mercury and Luke Gallows) faced Big Show in a handicap match. In the end, Big Show delivered a KO Punch to Gallows and delivered a chokeslam to Mercury onto Gallows, pinning Mercury to win the match.
Next up the Jackal defended his WWE Championship, which he has held since WrestleMania, against Sheamus and Randy Orton. Jackal won the match after he speared Sheamus, hit the Jackal Bomb on Oton and pinned him to retain the title and continue his reign.
Next up was the World Heavyweight Championship match.
The match was a No Holds Barred match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Kane's pyro went off and out came the World Champion first, pushing a casket down the ramp as he did so. He put the casket next to the ring then entered the ring and did his usual turnbuckle pyro before his theme died down as he waits for the challenger.
OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!
The Devil's Wolf plays to a loud pop and out comes the Bladewolf with his baseball bat in hand. He glares at Kane with his hellfire eyes before walking down the ramp, taking his coat off and tossing the bat aside. He slides into the ring...AND TACKLES KANE DOWN!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Bladewolf unloads on Kane with lefts and rights, forcing Kane to cover up from the assault. Bladewolf gets to his feet and stomps on Kane a few times before picking him up and rams his head into the corner. Bladewolf stomps on Kane in the corner several times before he sends him over the top rope with a clothesline. Bladewolf slides out, grabs Kane and Irish whips him into the barricade.
Kane stumbles away but Bladewolf picks up the baseball bat, runs up behind Kane...AND CRACKS THE BAT OVER HIS BACK! Bladewolf assaults Kane with the bat, aiming for the legs to floor the Champion. Bladewolf keeps the assault up before he drops the bat, then kicks Kane in the ribs before dropping an elbow on Kane's back. Bladewolf rams Kane's head into the stage a few times before backing off.
Kane stumbles to his feet and turns around only for Bladewolf to unload on his brother with lefts and rights, driving Kane back. Bladewolf then starts unloading with lefts and rights into his brother's stomach, then to the head and chest. Bladewolf grabs Kane and sends him into the mini-tron on the stage, bringing Kane to a knee. Bladewolf grabs Kane and drives his elbow into Kane's back, then floors the Big Red Monster before he presses his boot down on Kane's neck, growling as he did so. Bladewolf then presses his foot down one more time before backing off as Kane struggles to his feet.
Bladewolf walks towards Kane who lands a hard right into Bladewolf's stomach, then punches him in the side of the head hard. Kane laughs as he gets to his feet before booting Bladewolf in the side of the head. Bladewolf crawls on his hands and knees but Kane grabs him by the hair and pulls him to his feet before he yells as he drives Bladewolf through part of the stage, breaking it down. Kane laughs as Bladewolf tries to fight back and get back into this, but Kane's assault was too much somehow.
Kane stomps on his brother with hard, vicious stomps to the stomach and chest. Kane pulls on Bladewolf's mask, then rams his head into the metal part of the stage, taking Bladewolf down to a knee. Kane punches Bladewolf viciously in the head then boots him in the side of the head. Kane tosses Bladewolf down the ramp, sending the 11-time World Champion rolling down the ramp. Kane storms down the ramp and grabs Bladewolf and sends him into the steel steps. Bladewolf clutches his shoulder as Kane walks over, laughing.
Kane grabs Bladewolf and gets him against the barricade where the Big Red Monster unloads on his little brother, causing Bladewolf to cover up but his arms looked weakened as he tries covering up, letting Kane do more damage as he grabs Bladewolf's head and slams it off the barricade, then he pushes Bladewolf's face against the barricade and presses his boot down on the back of Bladewolf's head, causing his legs to writhe about as he groans and grunts, trying to get free but Kane doesn't until he pulls his boot off Bladewolf's head.
Kane picks Bladewolf and shoves him onto the steel steps. Bladewolf leans over them as Kane walks up on them...THEN STOMPS ON THE BACK OF BLADEWOLF'S HEAD! Bladewolf falls down onto his side, He weakly tries throwing his fists as Kane walks over. Kane grunts as he drives his boot into his brother's stomach, then into his brother's chest before grabbing him by the throat then runs...AND DRIVES BLADEWOLF INTO THE STEEL RING POST!
Kane tosses his brother into the ring, then gets onto the ring apron and starts heading to the top rope. Bladewolf gets to a knee and flips his hair back before he stands up and turns around...INTO A FLYING CLOTHESLINE FROM KANE!
Kane rebounds off the ropes and hits a running elbow drop, then gets to his feet, rebounds off the ropes again and hits a leg drop across his brother's throat. Kane hooks the leg but Bladewolf kicks out at two. Kane gets to his feet as Bladewolf grabs the ropes, but Kane clobbers him from behind then starts choking him with the ropes. Kane then pulls Bladewolf to his feet and rams his head into the top turnbuckle. Bladewolf is on his knees, and Kane lands a hard right hand, sending Bladewolf into the corner.
Kane laughs as he paces around before he runs...INTO DOUBLE BOOTS! Bladewolf gets behind Kane, grabs him from behind and hits a German Suplex, then another, then another then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another then another, then another, then another, then another, then another.
Bladewolf got to his feet and threw his sleeveless top off, getting wolf whistles from female fans who gazed lustfully at Bladewolf's toned chest. Bladewolf glares down at Kane before grabbing him by the throat...BUT KANE GRABS HIM AS WELL! Kane roars as he charges...AND TAKES BOTH OF THEM OVER THE TOP ROPE AND DOWN TO THE FLOOR!
Kane gets to his feet first, grabs a steel chair...AND CRACKS IT OVER BLADEWOLF'S HEAD! Kane smacks the chair off Bladewolf time and time again before he tosses it aside, picks up the top section of the steel steps and waits for Bladewolf to get to his feet. Once he does, he turns around...AND GETS BASHED IN THE FOREHEAD BY THE STEPS!
Bladewolf groans on the floor but Kane tosses the steps on top of him, hurting him further. Kane picks Bladewolf up and tosses him into the ring. Kane slides in and gets Bladewolf into the corner.
Kane stomps on Bladewolf in the corner making Bladewolf sit down and get stomped on. Bladewolf grips the ropes, trying to pull himself to his feet but Kane lands a hard right into his ribs, causing him to hold his ribcage area as Kane starts unloading with more lefts and rights before he drives his elbow into the side of Bladewolf's head.
Bladewolf stumbles a little before he turns and lands a right hand, but Kane drives his knee into Bladewolf's stomach, then brings his forearm down on the back of his brother, then elbows him in the back before booting him in the side of the head, sending Bladewolf down. Kane picks Bladewolf up and Irish whips him into the corner, runs and hits a turnbuckle clothesline, scoops his brother up and hits a sideslam! He hooks the leg! ONE! TWO! THRE-! Bladewolf kicks out!
Kane drags Bladewolf over to the ring apron, gets out the ring and hangs Bladewolf over the apron before he lands a heavy right punch to the jaw, sending Bladewolf down to the floor. Kane paces, fixing his elbow pad as Bladewolf tries to get back into this. Kane laughs as as he watches his brother before picking him up then he rams Bladewolf's head off the announce table.
Kane picks up the top cover of the announce table...THEN THROWS IT INTO BLADEWOLF! Bladewolf falls down onto his back as Kane tosses the top aside and stalks his brother, picking him up. Kane looks at the steel steps and a sick smile crosses his face before he goes to Irish whip him...BUT BLADEWOLF REVERSES IT AND SENDS KANE INTO THE STEEL STEPS INSTEAD!
The crowd cheered as Bladewolf had an opening to get back into the match. Bladewolf wipes the blood off his face before he walks over to his brother and starts hammering away on him with hard right punches. Bladewolf gets to his feet and looks around before he walks over to the timekeeper's area, tossing the timekeeper aside before he picks up a steel chair and has a cold glare in his eyes as he walks over to his brother who was starting to get to his feet and Kane turns around...INTO A CHAIR SHOT TO THE SKULL!
Bladewolf falls to his knees, weakened from Kane's assault...while Kane is getting to his feet despite getting hit in the head by a chair. Bladewolf tosses the chair aside before he charges...AND CLOTHESLINES KANE OVER THE BARRICADE! Bladewolf leans against the ring apron before he spots Kane getting to his feet so he runs...AND DIVES OVER THE BARRICADE AND ONTO KANE!
Bladewolf hammers away on Kane a few times before he gets to his feet, not seeing Kane grabbing a chair. Bladewolf turns around...INTO A CHAIR SHOT TO THE RIBS! Bladewolf tries to get away but Kane was on the hunt...AND SMACKS THE CHAIR OFF BLADEWOLF'S BACK! Kane keeps up the attack with the chair to the legs, back, arms, and the head.
Kane tosses the chair aside then grabs Bladewolf and tosses him back into the ring. Kane slides in after him and circles his downed brother. "I told you!" Kane yells down at his brother. "You're weak! you're nothing! Do you hear me?!" You're no-!"
BLADEWOLF CAUGHT HIM IN A GOOZLE! Bladewolf gets to his feet, lifts Kane up...AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM! HE LURED HIM IN! Bladewolf stumbles about before he covers Kane! ONE! TWO! THRE-! KANE KICKS OUT!
Bladewolf leans his forehead against the mat before slowly getting to his feet and does the cutthroat taunt before he grabs Kane and scoops him onto his shoulder...BUT KANE OVERPOWERS HIM! KANE HAS BLADEWOLF SET UP!
Kane smirks that sick smile of his...THEN HITS THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! HE HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THREE! KANE RETAINS THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Bladewolf was knocked unconscious as Kane celebrates his victory before he walks over to Bladewolf, grabs him by the throat and lifts him straight into the air...AND HITS THE CHOKESLAM! Kane does this three more times, then he grabs Bladewolf, scoops him up...AND HITS THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! Kane gets to his feet, walks over to the casket and opens it...BUT THE UNDERTAKER WAS INSIDE! Kane backed off in shock, wide eyed as the Undertaker sits up.
The Undertaker gets in the ring and stares down Kane. Kane points to Bladewolf and Undertaker walks up to Bladewolf. He gets to a knee and stares down at his brother before leaning in close where words are spoke but unheard before Undertaker gets to his feet and does the throat slit taunt...THEN WHIRLS AROUND ON KANE!
Undertaker grabs the throat of Kane. Kane grabs the throat of Undertaker. Kane overpowers Undertaker...AND HITS THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!
Kane lifts his arms up and down as his pyro goes off. Kane clutches his title and walks off. We see a shot of a lifeless Undertaker trying to recover.
It would later be announced that Bladewolf suffered a head injury and a shoulder injury that would require time off from the rest of 2010...
