A big update, everyone! I've decided to go back to DeviantArt and repost my artworks and other stuff there and delete my blog. So do not look for my blog anymore; it's already gone. My new username on DA is now CrimsonMiracles; it's still the same account as before.

This is the last chapter of the Crash Town arc with a surprise Duel. I had no ideas for some parts of the anime, so I've written summaries. That's why the chapter might feel a little rushed.

Special thanks again to FlowersHeart17 who helped me come up with ideas for the minor arc!

WARNING! Mentioned sexual activities!

The chapter begins in Kalin's point of view.

Chapter 79: Crash Town – Part 3

While I was trapped inside the coffin, I could hear commotion from outside, but I didn't know what happened until I was forced into the mines with Yusei and Radley. Only deep in the mines were we released from the shackles and got instead remote stun collars. Once those were strapped on our necks, we got tools shoved into our hands and were pushed to work.

The air inside the mine was thick and heavy by humid and dust. How could someone work in here for months or years without ever allowing walking outside to get some fresh air or see actual sunlight? When was the last time someone got to change their torn clothes or take a shower? How was their actual health?

This was inhuman!

Malcolm's goons had removed my Radley Group coat, but I still had my buttoned shirt that was rigged with tiny spy camera and microphone. That was more than enough to collect the last piece of evidence to free Crash Town from the tyranny.

Yusei and I were pushed to a corner to dig the wall for Dyne. I got to experience the torture the miners got when they "slacked off", as the guards worded it. When my pickaxe bounced out of my hands when I hit a hard part of the wall, I got whipped on my back as punishment. I knew Yusei wanted to defend me, but I shook my head, telling him no. I didn't want him to experience this pain.

Sometime later, which felt like hours because I couldn't tell what time it was, Radley lost his common sense and started panicking, saying he wasn't supposed to be in the mines. Malcolm's men took him away to "calm" him down. He wasn't the only one they escorted out of this part of the mine.

A siren echoed in the mines which the guards reacted on. I realized that was the sound of changing shift with a refreshed group of Malcolm's men. They were having a brief conversation when one of the miners collapsed. The guards hurried to check on him, but the miner didn't respond.

My heart clenched as I figured I had just witnessed a man's death. His lifeless body was taken away as the other guards said comments like "Another one passed away?" in such ease as if they were used to it.

I made sure to turn my body toward the scene to capture the scene with the hidden camera. Yusei growled silently next to me as he witnessed the scene as well. I could tell by his body language he wanted to run and beat up the guards, but I held him back.

"Don't…", I whispered.

Yusei's body shook slightly when I had my hand on his shoulder. "Using Duels…to do things like this is horrible…!"

"I know…", I nodded as I turned him around so we could resume our work before the guards noticed we were slacking. "That's why I'll end this…"

"End this…?" Yusei mumbled before he gasped in realization. "Kalin… Don't tell me…!"

I gave him a genuine smile. "I was sent here by Director Goodwin on a special mission… After Grandpa told Goodwin about the situation in Crash Town, we came up with a plan to end the tyranny by sending me on an undercover mission… My job was to collect evidence with tiny spy cameras and microphone I planted on my clothes… The last piece of evidence was the condition and tyranny in the mines, so I had to lose a Duel at some point after being in Crash Town for more than a month to be sent here…"

"So that's why Estelle and Cassandra's been acting weird…!" Yusei said.

"Right… They didn't want to blow my cover…", I nodded. "And I never lost to you on purpose…"

Yusei's shoulders sank in relief as he got a small smile himself. "I'm glad to hear you were never suicidal…"

I nodded before I got serious and pointed at the stun collar. "However, now that I've got the proof, we need to get out of here and get rid of this collar…"

Yusei fished up a bent spike he must have collected when the guards had removed our shackles. He looked around to make sure no one was watching us before he started messing with his collar. It sparkled a little, but it never shocked him. Instead, he managed to remove it.

"That's expected of you…", I chuckled. "Was that a toy for you?"

"We'll have our chance when the workers change shifts…", Yusei whispered. "Earlier, I found a narrow passage next to the generator. Let's go through there and look for the exit…"

"Good call…", I nodded before I looked over my shoulder, seeing the guards were still talking to each other. "The timing must be right… Or else, our only chance to escape will fail…"

XXXXXXXXXX – Estelle's POV

Cassandra, Nico, West, and I had a change of plan on our rescue mission. I would drive Yusei's Duel Runner with West sitting behind me while Cassandra would drive her Runner with Nico. If we drove the Runners without lights and making loud noise, the chances of being spotted by the guards outside of the mines would be small.

Yusei had taught me how his Duel Runner worked, so I had no problems driving it. It was literally the same as my Runner, but with a few differences. Each Duel Runner could only be unlocked if you inserted the key and the right password.

I drove first with West sitting behind me as his arms wrapped around my waist. Cassandra was behind me as we drove through the darkness. We slowed down a little when we reached the mountain to make less noise. To my surprise, there were barely any guards outside.

I snapped my head up when I sensed Yusei's Mark. He was nearby!

I braked the Runner while making sure the brake lights on the back were on. Cassandra was several meters behind me, so she had time to see the lights and braked next to me. "What is it, Estelle?" she asked.

"I thought I heard something…", I whispered as I got off Yusei's Duel Runner.

"I heard nothing…", West mumbled as he stood next to me.

Cassandra and Nico got off the other Duel Runner and looked around. It was hard to see in the night, but I spotted two dark figures in a small ravine. I held my arm with the Star Mark and used my senses to check if one of the figures was Yusei.

A soft red light shone from the ravine in response, confirming it really was the Signer, before it vanished.

"What was that red light…?" Nico questioned.

The two shadows hurried toward our direction. The closer they got, the more their identity was revealed. It was Yusei and Kalin!

"Kalin!" Cassandra and West exclaimed in joy.

"Yusei!" I smiled.

"You're both safe!" Nico added.

I noticed how dirty Yusei and Kalin had already gotten after a couple of hours in the mine. None of them appeared to be hurt that they needed immediate medical attention.

"Why are you here with the Runners?" Kalin asked strictly. "It's too dangerous for you to be here!"

"We came here to rescue you from the mines", Cassandra explained. "There's no way we would leave you two behind."

Kalin's eyes softened when he heard the reason. "I see… Thank you."

"Are you two okay? Did they hurt you?" I asked in concern.

"I got whipped on my back", Kalin confessed.

"What?!" Cassandra and the children exclaimed in shock.

"Turn around and show us", I demanded.

Kalin turned around so his back was facing us. His shirt was a little ripped on the back by a whip and his skin had a few bruises. Besides that, he didn't have an open wound.

"There are only a few bruises. A little ointment can help healing them", I concluded before turning to Yusei. "And you, Yusei?"

"I'm okay", Yusei shook his head before he grew concerned. "What about you, Estelle? I couldn't see it, but I heard you hit your head when Barbara stunned you."

"Yes, I hit my head and blacked out", I nodded as I rubbed the point on my head that was still sore. "But I'm okay. No concussion or any other injuries."

"I hate to say it, but we should leave now before they realize you're all missing", Nico spoke up.

"We should head to the secret garage and call for backup from Sector Security", I nodded. "Kalin, you got the evidence from the mines?"

Kalin nodded as he pointed at the buttons on his shirt. "The cameras and microphone should have it all."

"Perfect! This means the tyranny of Crash Town should be over in less than twenty-four hours", I declared.

"Does this mean we can see our dad again?" West asked hopefully.

"Yes", I nodded.

"Hurray!" West cheered loudly.

Nico quickly hushed him. "Not so loud…!"

Noises from multiple Duel Runners broke the night silence around us. We saw the highlights of the Runners and the large frame of Lawton's Duel Runner!

"It's Lawton!" Cassandra shrieked in fear.

There was chaos for a few seconds, but we managed to organize ourselves. Yusei got on his Duel Runner while Cassandra and Nico got on the blue Duel Runner to lead Lawton away. Kalin, West, and I ran into the mines while being chased by Lawton's two lackeys.

XXXXXXXXXX

Long story short, everything went just the same as in the anime. At one point, Kalin, West, and I got caught by the guards, but we found the children's father, whose name was Sergio. We managed to escape from the guards with Sergio in a mine cart, but the guards chased us with their Duel Runners.

We were forced into the deep spiral cavern with the dead-end lever. However, I used my psychic powers and Kalin's Deck (which he got to keep after he got sent to the mountain) to summon his Monsters to stop the guards and switch the lever so we all could get out from the mineshaft without having Sergio sacrificing himself. The Monsters in my Deck didn't exactly have the arms to do the tasks after I had modified it days before getting to Crash Town.

We made it to a safe place and found two vacant Duel Runners with side carts, which we grabbed and drove through the hollow mountain. We caught up with Yusei, Cassandra, Nico, and Lawton who were in the middle of a Turbo Duel…which ended in a large explosion with Lawton detonating actual dynamite.

I remember I was flying through the fresh air in the very early dawn with everyone else and managed to grab Yusei's hand before I blacked out again.

XXXXXXXXXX

I woke up by a strong headache and my whole body aching. I slowly rolled onto my stomach and pushed myself up while holding back my painful groans. I looked around when I heard the others waking up. I counted Yusei, Kalin, and Sergio, but Cassandra, Nico, and West weren't with us.

I had a feeling Lawton had found them and brought them back to Crash Town. I managed to get up on my feet and hurried to Sergio. He was the weakest one among us after working in the mines for who knew how long.

"Are you okay, sir?" I asked as I got down on one knee next to him and held him up with an arm around his back.

"Y-Yes…", Sergio mumbled as he rubbed his head.

Yusei and Kalin pushed themselves up on their knees. None of them complained about broken legs or arms. It was a miracle none of us broke our bodies in the fall. We were, after all, in a deep ravine.

Both Yusei and Cassandra's Duel Runners had fallen down into the ravine, but they were both mangled. I couldn't help but wonder if we could even drive those.

"Yusei, Kalin… You two okay?" I asked.

"Yeah", Yusei nodded as he removed his helmet which now had a broken visor.

"That Lawton…", Kali growled while looking like a predator ready to rip its prey apart. "How could he put everyone's life in danger by using dynamite?!"

"He put his own life in danger, so I think he has no interest in anyone's wellbeing. Not even for himself", I suggested.

"Nico…? West?" Sergio called as he looked around. "M-My children…"

"Calm down, sir", I spoke calmly as I rubbed his back. "I'm sure they're safe…"

Kalin looked around for a moment. "Cassandra…is not here either."

"She and the children must have landed next to the ravine", Yusei said as he looked up. "And I have a bad feeling Lawton brought them back to town."

I helped Sergio up before I checked the pockets of my jacket. The remote button was still there, safe and intact.

"Then it's up to us to rescue them and free Crash Town", I declared. "This can no longer wait."

Kalin and Yusei nodded in agreement. Sergio grabbed his pendant which he got from West before and looked at it. He then clenched his hand and looked at me with a nod. "I once came here as a man looking for a place to die, but my children kept me alive. Then Kalin came and made me want to believe for the better. I'll help you save the town I now consider my home!"

I nodded at him with a smile before I pulled out the remote button. "Yusei, Kalin… You two head to town and try persuading the villagers to fight against Lawton and rescue Cassy and the kids. Sergio and I will wait for Sector Security to rescue the miners and arrest the guards."

"Got it!" Yusei nodded.

"Lawton will regret putting so many people's lives in danger…", Kalin growled.

I pushed up the lid covering the big button on the device and pressed it, sending a signal to Headquarters.

XXXXXXXXXX – Cassandra's POV

When I woke up, I found myself tied onto a pole next to Nico and West who, too, were tied up. Lawton had brought us back to Crash Town while we had been unconscious, but Kalin and the others weren't with us. Barbara managed to get Malcolm, who got drunk at the party last night, write on the deed that she was the new owner of the town along with Lawton, who was actually her secret husband.

Everyone got busy making changes in the town which was now going to be called Lawton Town. The married couple went so far they were now forcing their own allies to Duel each other to survive and not be sent to the mountain. It was horrible to watch the first pair struggling to keep their Life Points intact.

Lawton was going to make me, West, and Nico slaves and added Nico and I would be forced to do some extra service. I knew exactly what he meant by that. I refused to let Nico go through the same thing I had to experience before I even became a teenager.

The hope raised when Kalin and Yusei invaded the town to stop Lawton. The trio had a 2-on-1 Duel with 4000 Life Points each. When it looked like Lawton was about to lose, Barbara interfered and stopped the Duel, claiming since she and her husband were the rulers of the town they could do whatever they wanted, even breaking their own laws.

Shortly after that, chaos broke out. The town started rebelling against Lawton and Barbara, having enough of being used as pawns. Estelle and Sergio arrived to town with Toru, Misaki, Jack, Crow, and Kalin's two other friends I met before; Misty and Carly. Estelle had called for backup from Sector Security and the others had tagged along to help out. Sector Security was already in the mountain saving the workers and arresting the guards.

Lawton knew he had been backed into a corner, so as his last desperate trump card he detonated hidden dynamite he had planted all around Crash Town to destroy the buildings and use the distraction to run away with his Duel Runner. Kalin chased after him with Yusei's Duel Runner while Barbara was shocked to see she had been left behind by her husband.

Misty quickly freed me from my binds as Sergio rushed to his children to see if they were okay after the explosion. "Are you okay, Cassandra?" the model asked.

"Yeah, I think so", I nodded as I got up on my feet.

"Lawton, you bastard!" Barbara shouted angrily as she looked at the direction where her husband had run off. "Leaving your wife behind like this!"

"That alone shows he cares very little about other people", Estelle spoke up.

Barbara turned to the brunette and growled aggressively like an animal. "Lawton is still the best man I could ever have in my life!"

"You two suit each other", I snorted as Misty led me to the others. "Both your hearts are dark and evil."

"Don't get in on this, Cassy!" Barbara snarled before her lips twitched into a creepy smile. "But you're right; we love to be evil! And I loved the times I shared with you in bed and how I taught you to become a real woman!"

I froze when I heard that. Did she really just say that out loud?!

"Wait! What did you say?!" Crow exclaimed in shock.

Barbara chuckled evilly. "You heard it right. Whenever Klaus asked me to watch little weak Cassy while he and Toru were out of town, I brought her down to the pleasure room and made her experience an adult's pleasure by yours truly. I needed a toy to play with when I was bored."

"C-Cassy…", Toru's voice shook in disbelief. "I-Is that…true?"

I clenched my hands into fists as the shock went over to anger. Barbara sank so low now that she told everyone what she did to me years ago. But I refused to be silent! I wasn't going to be a weak victim anymore!

"Yes, it's true…", I nodded before glaring at the sex offender. "She forced herself on me and almost killed me with the very first climax I experienced! I thought I was going to die by my lungs giving up on me! She never once considered my weak condition!"

"I believed if you experienced several rounds of pleasure, it would make your little body stronger", Barbara casually shrugged her shoulders.

"Sick woman…!" Misaki hissed through her gritted teeth.

"That explains everything…", Estelle mumbled, probably figuring out my reactions I had since I returned to Crash Town.

I took five steps forward as I grabbed one of the former grunts' Gunman's Disk and strapped it on my left arm. "Barbara! I challenge you to a Duel! I'll show you I'm no longer a silent victim!"

Barbara looked surprised for a second before she smirked evilly. "Gladly. I'd love to humiliate you again!" She snatched a Gunman's Disk from another former grunt and strapped it on her left arm.

Both of us grabbed our Decks and inserted them in the Duel Disks. The devices shuffled the Decks before we yelled the magic word.

"Duel!"

Barbara: 4000 LP

Cassandra: 4000 LP

I drew my first five cards, getting Caravan of the Ice Barrier, Crackdown, Eisbahn, Speaker for the Ice Barriers, and General Grunard of the Ice Barrier. I had to improvise with this hand.

"I go first! Draw!" Barbara called as she drew her sixth card. "I summon Harpie Lady 1 in attack mode!"

Harpie Lady 1, Level 4: ATK 1300

"Harpie Lady 1's effect! All WIND Monsters on the field gain 300 extra attack points!"

Harpie Lady 1, Level 4: ATK 1300 – ATK 1600

"Next, I play Elegant Egoist! I can only use it when I have a Harpie Lady on the field, and Special summon Harpie Lady Sisters from my hand!"

Harpie Lady Sisters, Level 6: ATK 1950 – ATK 2250

"I now discard Harpie Queen from my hand to the Graveyard to add the Field Spell Harpies' Hunting Ground from the Deck to my hand!"

Harpie Queen's transparent body appeared on the field for a brief second before she transformed into a card that flew into Barbara's hand, forming the Field Spell card.

"And I activate the Field Spell right away! Soar, my harpies!"

The ground appeared to be shaking, due to Solid Vision, before large mountains raised around us, slightly hiding the destruction of the town.

"While Harpies' Hunting Ground is active, it gives all winged beast Monsters 200 attack and defense points!" Barbara continued.

Harpie Lady 1, Level 4: ATK 1600 – ATK 1800

Harpie Lady Sisters, Level 6: ATK 2250 – ATK 2450

"I now place one card facedown and end my turn", the woman finished. "Your move, Cassy."

I glared at her before I drew my sixth card, Dance Princess of the Ice Barrier. "I draw!"

"I activate my Trap; Present Card!" Barbara called, flipping up her facedown card. "You must discard your entire hand, but you get to draw five new cards. See this as a little present like the ones I gave you." She even dared to blow me a kiss, which I got disgusted by.

I growled softly before sending my entire hand to the Graveyard. I drew five new cards and those were Revealer of the Ice Barrier, Prior of the Ice Barrier, Freezing Chains of the Ice Barrier, Umiiruka, and Terror of Trishula.

I double-checked the cards and realized I could win the Duel in this turn, like how Kalin defeated the Giant couple of days ago.

"I activate my Field Spell; Umiiruka!" I began. "This means your Field Spell is destroyed!"

The mountains of Harpies' Hunting Ground crumbled down as holographic water washed the ground and made it look like it reached up to our ankles. While the water dominated the field, Barbara's Harpie Monsters' attack points went down.

Harpie Lady 1, Level 4: ATK 1800 – ATK 1600

Harpie Lady Sisters, Level 6: ATK 2450 – ATK 2250

"While Umiiruka is active, all WATER Monsters will gain 500 attack points while their defense points will decrease by 400 points", I explained before moving on. "I summon Revealer of the Ice Barrier in attack mode!"

Revealer of the Ice Barrier, Level 4: ATK 1700 – ATK 2200

"Revealer's effect! I discard Prior of the Ice Barrier from my hand to the Graveyard to Special summon the Tuner Monster, Geomancer of the Ice Barrier, from my Deck in attack mode!"

Geomancer of the Ice Barrier, Level 3, Tuner: ATK 800 – ATK 1300

I could Synchro summon now, but I wanted to bring out my strongest Synchro Monster to show Barbara I was no longer a weakling.

"Next, I play the Continuous Spell, Freezing Chains of Ice Barrier! I can target one Level 4 or lower Ice Barrier Monster in my Graveyard and Special summon it, so I Special summon Caravan of the Ice Barrier in attack mode!"

Caravan of the Ice Barrier, Level 1: ATK 500 – ATK 1000

"Caravan's effect! Once per turn, I can select two Ice Barrier Monsters in my Graveyard and shuffle them back to my Deck and then both of us draw one card. I pick Prior of the Ice Barrier and Dance Princess of the Ice Barrier!"

My Gunman's Disk pulled out the two cards I had chosen and I added them to the Deck. The device shuffled my cards before I drew the top card.

Monster Reborn!

This Duel was over.

"I banish Speaker for the Ice Barriers from the Graveyard to Special summon one Ice Barrier Token!" I continued.

Ice Barrier Token, Level 1: DEF 0

"I now tune Level 3 Geomancer of the Ice Barrier with Level 4 Revealer of the Ice Barrier, Level 1 Caravan of the Ice Barrier, and Level 1 Ice Barrier Token! Sheer cold forms icebergs to give life to another being, roaring like the blizzard! Synchro summon! Come, Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier!"

Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, Level 9: ATK 2700 – ATK 3200

Trishula roared as snowflakes flew around him, making the air a little chilly.

"It's here! Cassy's strongest Monster!" Toru cheered in the background.

"What is that dragon?!" Barbara gaped in disbelief.

"Trishula's effect!" I quickly declared. "When he's Synchro summoned, I can banish up to one card each from my opponent's hand, field and Graveyard! You get to choose which card you banish from your hand, Barbara, while I choose Harpie Lady Sisters from the field and Present Card from the Graveyard!"

Barbara growled as she was forced to remove the cards due to my dragon's effect. Harpie Lady 1 could only stare helplessly as Harpie Lady Sisters were sucked into a wormhole behind them.

"Even if you managed to get rid of my Field Spell and Harpie Lady Sisters, you won't be able to defeat me on this turn!" Barbara commented irritably.

"Not if I play the card I drew thanks to Caravan's effect; Monster Reborn!" I yelled. "I Special summon General Grunard of the Ice Barrier from my Graveyard!"

General Grunard of the Ice Barrier, Level 8: ATK 2800 – ATK 3300

Barbara's face got pale as she saw the new Monster. "N-No… It can't be…"

"Like Kalin, this is my One Turn Kill!" I shouted. "General Grunard, attack Harpie Lady 1!"

General Grunard summoned more than a dozen ice swords that floated in the air around him. He then pointed at Harpie Lady 1 and grunted a command before the weapons flew at the Harpie Monster. The winged beast Monster cried in pain as she was stabbed by the ice swords. As soon as the last sword dug into her body, she shattered into pieces.

Barbara: 4000 LP – 1700 LP

Cassandra: 4000 LP

"No! I can't accept this!" Barbara snarled, but her angry expression dropped as Trishula hovered above her.

"It's over, Barbara!" I shouted. "Trishula, attack direct with Freeze Shock!"

Trishula's three heads opened their mouth and fired an ice beam at Barbara. She shrieked in fear as her body got trapped in a large ice block.

Barbara: 1700 LP – 0 LP

Cassandra: 4000 LP

As soon as our Gunman's Disks deactivated and Solid Vision faded, Barbara's eyes rolled back before she collapsed on the ground due to the shock.

"S-She defeated Barbara in a One Turn Kill!" one of the former grunts exclaimed in disbelief.

A massive cheer erupted from everyone as they celebrated my victory. I felt so happy that I had finally been able to put Barbara down to the bottom level where she belonged after what she did to me.

"She's really the Death God's sister; the Ice Goddess!" someone shouted before everyone else chanted my new title.

XXXXXXXXXX – Kalin's POV

I managed to catch up to Lawton and defeat him on his own turn. After that, Sector Security came and arrested him as I drove back to Crash Town with Yusei's Duel Runner. I got a quick update how Cassandra defeated Barbara in a Duel and she was now known as the Ice Goddess.

The rest of the time, we got busy to help the innocent villagers who got hurt by the explosions and give them medical attention. Employees and even the CEOs from KaibaCorp arrived the next day to give the villagers supplies and material to rebuild the town which got renamed as Rebirth Town by Grandpa who came along with the first backup group. He said that both Cassandra and I had given new hope to our hometown and freed it from the sharp claws, giving birth to new light and hope. I guess, in a way, both my sister and I had been reborn again after visiting the town.

Lawton and Barbara were sent to jail while Goodwin and Grandpa spoke in private to decide who was going to be the new leader of the town. While they did that, I got to know the details of Cassandra's past of how she had been used and groomed by Barbara.

"I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you, Cassy…", I mumbled as I hugged her close to me.

"It's okay, Kalin", Cassandra said as she rested her cheek against my chest. "I'm just glad I was able to defeat Barbara once and for all and show her I've gotten stronger."

After that, we hurried to the entrance of the town where our friends were waiting. I quickly noticed there was another Duel Runner among them. "What's that Runner? Its frame is similar to yours, Cassandra."

"That's actually Dad's old motorcycle, which Toru, Grandpa, and I reconstructed into a Duel Runner", Cassandra replied. "Grandpa saved both Mom and Dad's motorcycles for us to inherit."

My eyes widened in surprise and disbelief as I slowly approached Dad's old Duel Runner. I put a hand on the smooth frame and couldn't help but feel tears in my eyes. "I-Is it really…mine?"

Cassandra nodded slowly as she grabbed my other hand and squeezed it. "Yes… Mom and Dad wanted to teach us how to ride a motorcycle when we got older… It's yours now."

I bit my lower lip and held back my tears before smiling softly. "Dad… I promise I'll take good care of your bike."

"Well, looks like the old Enforcers now have each a Duel Runner!" Crow commented with a big grin.

"Kalin, once you get used to your Runner, I'll challenge you to a Turbo Duel!" Jack declared.

I turned to the others and smirked softly. "I'll gladly accept your challenge, Jack. Let's see if you'll be able to satisfy me."

"And then I'm up next!" Toru said. "I need some training before the World Racing Grand Prix."

"Don't we all…", Misaki mumbled.

"Yeah", Yusei agreed.

Carly was going through the pictures she had taken with her camera. "I can't believe I got so many good photos! Angela's going to be so jealous once she reads my article of the battle in Crash Town!"

"Kalin…", West spoke up.

"Yes?" I asked while turning to the boy.

"Do you really have to go back to New Domino City?" West asked with sad eyes.

I got down on one knee and gently patted his head. "Yes. But I promise I'll try visiting as often as I can."

West's sad lips moved upward into a smile. "Once I get better, can we have a Duel?"

"Certainly", I smiled.

"I'll see if I can help out too by providing some new clothes for everyone in Rebirth Town", Misty said. "After the rebirth, it's only fair you get a new wardrobe."

"Really?" Nico asked excitedly.

Misty nodded with a smile. "Yes. I'll have some people delivering the clothes later this week."

"That's so kind of you, Ms. Tredwell", Sergio said before bowing. "Thank you."

"Guys. Goodwin and Klaus are coming back", Estelle announced.

The Director and my grandfather joined us as both of them looked pleased with their conversation. I got a little concerned and couldn't help but ask. "Grandpa… Are you going to be the town's leader?"

"It's actually sheriff, Kalin", Grandpa corrected me. "And, no, I'm too old to keep the order around."

"Then… Who will it be?" Cassandra wondered.

Goodwin handed a sheriff star to Grandpa before our grandfather walked over to Sergio. "Sergio, I appoint you as Rebirth Town's sheriff."

"Eh?" Sergio blinked in surprise.

His children's eye lightened up in joy when they heard that. "Dad, that's awesome!" West smiled.

"I… I can't accept it", Sergio said as he waved his hands. "I don't fit as a sheriff."

"Nonsense, Sergio!" Grandpa huffed before he grabbed Sergio's hand and pulled him down to his eye level so he could pin the sheriff star onto his top. "I've known you since you first came to the town years ago and, back then, you had the sense of justice and order. I cannot imagine anyone else being the sheriff of Rebirth Town."

Sergio looked like he wanted to cry, but he held himself back and straightened up after adjusting the sheriff star. "I swear I'll protect Rebirth Town and make sure nothing like this ever happens again! Those evil hearts will have to go through me first!"

We clapped our hands and cheered for him as his children hugged his waist, both of them crying in joy.

After I got the keys to my new Duel Runner, I drove off with Cassandra and our friends, but I stopped by a hill to take one last look at Rebirth Town.

"Mom… Dad… I may be leaving, but once my desires have been satisfied… I will return…", I whispered my promise.

I swore I felt two hands on my shoulders and the presence of two warm souls. I smiled as I knew I was imagining Mom and Dad being proud of me.

"Kalin!" Cassandra called.

I looked over my shoulder and saw my sister waiting for me. The others had stopped several meters behind her as some of them waved their hands in the air.

I smiled and turned my Duel Runner around to drive to them. "Let's see if there's someone out there who can satisfy me!"

XXXXXXXXXX – Estelle's POV

The Crash Town case was finally over and, boy, it had been such an adventure. I was looking forward to get home and see my boys. Goodwin had to stay behind in Rebirth Town to direct Sector Security, so I returned to the mansion alone. I split up with my friends as soon as we had reached New Domino City and waved goodbye to each other.

I had called the mansion earlier, so Itsuki and Ryuga were waiting by the front door when I arrived. I quickly removed my helmet and got off my Runner and down on one knee so I could give my boys a big hug.

"Mom!" the brothers exclaimed in joy before they rushed into my arms.

"Hi, my little ones!" I smiled as I hugged them. "Were you two good boys while I was away?"

"Yes!" Itsuki nodded.

"We missed you…", Ryuga purred against my chest.

I giggled softly and patted both their heads. I heard new footsteps from the open entrance and looked up to get a big surprise.

"Ish!" I exclaimed in joy before I let go of my boys and straightened up.

Ish Kiq Garcia, the same woman I had invited to Goodwin's 50th birthday party, was standing in front of me with a warm motherly smile. "Welcome home, Estelle."

I hugged her in return before we let go of each other. "This is such a pleasant surprise. What are you doing here, Ish?"

"I was invited by Rex to stay here throughout whole May", Ish replied. "I booked off all my schedules and performances so I can spend time with your family. And Rex asked me to be his date for the World Racing Grand Prix Premium Event party at the end of the month."

I noticed a soft blush on her cheeks. "So, are you two now…dating?" I asked with a small smirk.

Ish cleared her throat modestly. "We're…expanding our relationship."

That meant something more was going on between Goodwin and Ish, and I was excited to see how far they would go.

"Mom, can you tell us what happened in Crash Town?" Itsuki asked as he took my hand.

"Kowboys, kowboys!" Ryuga cheered as he then did the "phew phew" noise when cowboys fired their guns.

"What kind of movies have you been watching?" I asked a little cautious, thinking the boys had seen Wild Western movies with gruesome action and blood.

"Cowboy cartoons", Ish told me. "Not the adult version."

"Ah, good", I sighed in relief before picking up Ryuga. "I'll tell you everything what happened, including how Uncle Kalin rescued the town from the evil cowboys."

"Yay!" Ryuga cheered happily.

I smiled softly before the four of us entered the mansion and received a warm welcome home greeting from the staff. It felt good to be home.

I hope you enjoyed the new CSP version of the Crash Town arc. Barbara's Deck is based on the one she has in the DS game "Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2011: Over the Nexus". Cassandra's Deck is not yet complete, so don't look for it on DA.

And don't get mad at me for renaming Crash Town into Rebirth Town. I personally think it sounds better than Satisfaction Town.
