It had been eight years since the day Sonic left. He, Tails and Knuckles had been sticking together and their friends had still been helping them. He still uses his medallion from time to time, uses Super Sonic and hasn't unlocked Dark Sonic since the day with Cosmo and Chris. He still hadn't told them what and who he really is. Knuckles hadn't told anyone either.

They were at Sonic's hanging out after another fight.

They knew Eggman was getting old and that they were going to end this soon.

Sonic was thinking about his family wondering what was going on.

Was Aleena still the queen? Was Sonia dating someone new? Is Manic dating someone? Was Sonia the queen? Was Manic the king since he left?

He had questions like that going on around his head often.

'I have to hear a heads up. I can't take it anymore!' he thought and got up.

"Where you going?" Tails asked.

"Just for a quick run."

Knuckles already had an idea of what it was.

"OK. Be careful." he said and Sonic nodded.

Then he left and ran.

A few minutes later he was on a mountain.

"Oracle?" he said and Oracle appeared.

"Your highness." he said and bowed.

"What's going on with mom, Sonia and Manic?"

"Things are doing just fine. They miss you but are doing fine. Your mother is still the queen, Sonia still hasn't started dating anyone because she still loves Knuckles and Manic hasn't gotten into too much trouble." he said and chuckled.

Sonic sighed in relief.

"Knuckles will be happy." he said and snickered. "Can you tell them I said hello and am doing just fine? Along with Knuckles?"

"Of course. Don't worry, Robotnik will be gone someday."

Sonic nodded.

"That's it, you can go."

Oracle nodded and was gone.

At Mobotropolis Aleena, Sonia and Manic were in the Throne room when Oracle came.

"Oracle!" Manic said.

"Hello your majesties." he said and bowed. "I've come to tell you that Sonic is doing fine and says hello. Along with Knuckles. And don't worry Sonia, he still loves you and won't change that."

Sonia smiled.

"Is he almost ready to get home?" Aleena asked.

"I don't know your highness. I do know that Sonic has gotten stronger, faster and ready to become king when the time comes. He's grown to lead people and plenty of other things. He is still single I can tell you that."

Aleena smiled.

She knew he was going to be ready someday and after leading his friends he was going to be ready when he comes home.

"He still hasn't told them what and who he truly is though."

"Why?" Sonia asked.

"He doesn't feel comfortable right now. When he defeats Robotnik for good he swore to come home and expose what and who he truly is."

They nodded.

Back with Sonic.

Sonic was back home an hour later and with Knuckles while Tails was at his workshop.

"They're doing just fine. She still loves you and hasn't tried anyone else." Sonic said and Knuckles smiled.

"Thanks. How much longer do you think it's going to take?" Knuckles asked.

"Hopefully soon because I'm getting sick of this. I miss them, want to get back home and stuff like that. I've been fighting him since I was five and am twenty one!"

Knuckles put a hand on Sonic's shoulder.

"I'm sure we'll be done soon." he said gently.

Sonic nodded and they stayed quiet.

Two weeks later Team Sonic, Amy, Cream, Cheese and Rouge were at work.

"I've had enough of this Sonic! For over ten years I've been fighting you and now it's time for this to end!" Eggman said.

Sonic glared at him.

'It's time for them to hear his real name.' he thought.

"Well I'm sick of fighting you to Buttnik!" he said confusing everyone but Knuckles who snickered. "I've been fighting you since I was six years old! I left home to end you and I swear I will!"

"Well let's end this today. I see Knuckles remembers who I am." Eggman said.

"How would I forget? Like I said, I've worked with them plenty of times before Team Sonic was created." Knuckles said.

"You miss her. I've seen you two fighting as time goes on. Just like Sonic misses the three of them."

Knuckles froze for a second.

"Alright that's it!" Sonic said and tapped his medallion and aimed a laser at Eggman. "It's time to end this for good!"

Tails, Amy, Cream, Cheese and Rouge knew something wasn't right with the three of them.

"It's time for this prophecy to be complete! The other one wasn't done for thirteen years and I'm not causing this one to be that late!" he said and got him again.

Everyone was getting worried about Sonic. Especially Tails and Knuckles.

Knuckles knew he was on the verge of losing it and saw tears starting to want to come out.

"Well then let's end this for good!" Eggman said.

Then for the first time in years Swat-Bots appeared along with another robot.

"What is that thing?!" Amy asked while Sonic and Knuckles looked at each other.

"You've gotta be kidding me." they said.

"Guys?" Tails said.

"So, a mixture of Swat-Bots and a robot this time hmm?" Sonic said ignoring what Tails said without even knowing.

"Yes. It's time for them to know what exactly you've done over the years." Eggman said.

Sonic looked at Knuckles who nodded.

"What's next? Sleet and Dingo?" Knuckles asked.

"No! Not those two idiots!"

"So you finally know what an idiot they were." Sonic said and got a high five from Knuckles.

Everyone was getting confused and starting to wonder if they really know them.

"Let's end this now hedgehog!" Eggman said.

"With pleasure!" Sonic said and got one with his guitar.

Then Knuckles got one with his fist.

Then it started, the fight Sonic had been waiting for his whole life.

Tails was still a little confused about what his best friends had been doing over the years before he was added to the team.

Half an hour later Sonic was looking at them and saw that it was time for Super Sonic.

So he shut his eyes and the Chaos Emeralds came and went around him getting him to transform into Super Sonic.

Eggman smirked.

"It's time for this to end and It looks like we have a Super ending." he said still smirking. "When I defeat you I'll get Mobotropolis back! They're nothing without you!"

Everyone looked at Super Sonic wondering what was going to happen.

Then they continued.

Sonic used a Chaos Blast and then Chaos Spere.

He went through more while the others did the same thing.

People like Vanilla was watching worried but at the same time knew Sonic would still look after Cream and could take care of himself.

Then they watched him use his guitar and get another.

Four hours later they were down to the big one.

Super Sonic was sweating and panting after Super Sonic and everyone else was the same way.

"This is the end of this eight year long war between us Robotnik! I swear this is it!" Super Sonic said.

Then they aimed at the last and big robot.

"CHAOS SPERE!" Sonic yelled and got it.

Amy used her hammer, Tails got it with the X Tornado, Cream got it with one of Tails' inventions, Rouge got it with a Screw-Kick and Knuckles got it with his fist.

"Hmmmm." Super Sonic said and was gone.

"Where'd he go?" Amy said.

Then they saw Super Sonic with Chomps.

"You wanna help Chomps?" Knuckles asked smiling.

"Uh huh! Uh huh!" Chomps said and started to chase after the robot.

Super Sonic and Knuckles laughed a little.

"Alright, now that we have Chomps it'll help." Super Sonic said.

Then they continued.

Finally after six hours the robot was gone and everyone was sweating and panting.

Especially Sonic after being Super Sonic.

He looked at Eggman who looked scared and angry at the same time.

"You lost again Robotnik! Now it's time to end you for good!" Super Sonic said and raised his hand. "CHAOS CONTROL!" he yelled and got enough done to defeat Eggman for good.

'One day they will be gone' he thought.

When the light was gone they saw a dead Eggman and an exhausted looking Super Sonic.

Then Super Sonic put his guitar away, transformed back to normal Sonic and everyone walked over to him.

Knuckles gave him a high five.

"We finally did it." he said. "We beat Buttnik."

Sonic smiled.

"I, I can finally get home and be with my family again!" he said with tears coming down. "After so many years I don't have to deal with him and can be with them again."

Knuckles gave him a hug with tears coming down smiling to.

"I can finally see her again." he said.

Then they pulled Tails close and hugged him to.

Team Sonic was finally done.

"Nice job buddy." Sonic said.

Tails smiled wide.

"Can you tell us what's going on?" Rouge asked.

Then Oracle appeared.

"Sonic, you have finally ended the prophecy I said long ago and can now go back home." he said smiling.

Then he gave them all strength and energy like the day he told Sonic about Sonia and Manic.

"Thanks to my friends, I can finally see them again." Sonic said with tears of joy coming out.

"To make it easier I will transfer you all to Mobotropolis." Oracle said and then snapped and they were gone.

A few seconds later they were in Mobotropolis right outside the castle.

"I'm home." Sonic said.

"Why are we outside a castle and where are we?" Amy asked.

"This, this is Mobotropolis, my home."

Then the door opened and they were shocked at this.

"A castle?" Rouge said.

Then they followed Sonic and Knuckles and outside were three hedgehogs.

Sonic started running to them along with Knuckles to a pink one.

"SONIC!" Aleena, Sonia and Manic said and they held each other close.

"Mom, Sonia, Manic." Sonic said and they started crying of joy.

Then Sonia saw Knuckles and ran to him and he held her close and kissed her.

Everyone looked at them in shock.

"I missed you guys so much!" Sonic said.

"Same here Sonic." Aleena said and whipped her tears away smiling. "I'm so proud of you." she said and held him close again.

"I had to end him someday. With Knuckles and Tails help I got it done." he said and held her close.

"Sonic?" Tails said.

Sonic and Knuckles looked behind them and smiled.

"Tails, Amy, Cream, Rouge, Cheese, this is my mom, sister and brother." Sonic said.

"Hello. I'm Aleena." Aleena said smiling.

"I'm Manic." Manic said smiling.

"And I'm Sonia." Sonia said smiling still in Knuckles' arms.

"Wait a minute, you're the queen of Mobotropolis!" Tails said and she nodded.

"Yes. Sonic is the oldest of the three." she said smiling.

"Sonia is the middle and Manic is the youngest." Sonic said smiling.

"All this time you've been a prince." Tails said hurt. "And you didn't tell us. Me of all people!"

Sonic and Knuckles looked at each other and then walked over to him and held him close.

"I'm sorry buddy. I just didn't feel that comfortable telling you what and who I really am." Sonic said.

"Sonic, Sonia and Manic had known me for a while and I swore to keep this quiet until the end." Knuckles said. "The times he whispered something it had to do with him being a prince or his family. And he wanted to wait until the end."

Sonic nodded then looked at the others.

"I'm sorry guys, I just didn't know how you would react and treat me if you found out."

They nodded understanding.

"Well, why don't we go inside and have some food. You and Knuckles look too thin for my liking." Aleena said.

Sonic and Knuckles looked at their stomach and saw they were thin.

So they nodded and headed inside smiling with the others following them.

Sonia and Knuckles were holding hands on their way to the dining room.

When they got there they all sat down and waited for food.

A few minutes later they were eating.

Tails looked at his teammates and best friends still hurt and shocked at what he found out.

Rouge was upset knowing Knuckles really did have a girlfriend.

After they ate they went to the living room and sat down.

Knuckles sat next to Sonia while Sonic sat between Aleena and Manic smiling.

"So, you're their friends?" Aleena said.

"Yes. Tails is their best friend though." Amy said.

"What are your names again?" Manic asked looking at Rouge.

"I'm Cream Rabbit and this is my Chao Cheese." Cream said and bowed down along with Cheese.

"I'm Amy Rose, Sonic-"

"Friend. I've said it multiple times, you love me but I see you as a sister so don't say it." Sonic said cutting her off.

"Anyway, I'm Rouge the Bat." Rouge said.

"And I'm Tails Prower, Sonic's best buddy. My real name is Miles but everyone calls me Tails because I have two tails." Tails said.

"He loves mechanics so would be a good friend for Manic." Sonic said smiling.

"And Rouge would be perfect for Manic to." Knuckles said and he and Sonic started laughing. "She's a thief to."

Manic smiled at hearing that two of Sonic's friends work for him.

"And Amy would work with Sonia, she loves shopping." Sonic said and Knuckles nodded.

Then Rouge thought of something.

"You three are Sonic Underground!" she said and they smiled and nodded.

"Yup!" they said together.

"Heroes and a band." Manic said.

"Have you played anything without me?" Sonic asked.

"Not in front of anyone. For fun here yes. When you got it back it worked and we felt when you sang the first song." Sonia said.

"He's still really good too." Knuckles said.

"Maybe we'll sing it later. For now we need to relax after a six hour long fight with Buttnik. A mixture of his Swat-Bots and other robots he made." Sonic said.

They nodded smiling and understanding.

Then Oracle appeared.

"Oracle!" Sonic Underground, Knuckles and Aleena said.

"I can see you're having fun." he said smiling.

They nodded.

"I will show them the fights you did over the years and all of you go get some rest." he said and Team Sonic, Amy, Cream, Cheese and Rouge nodded.

So Sonic headed to his room while a servant showed the others the guest rooms.
