Hyperdimension Neptunia is owned by Sega, Compile Heart and Idea Factory and everyone else who worked on it.

And the epilogue is here.

Epilogue

Erika looked around as she walked through the new area of Lastation. "It's been a week, huh?" She knew that if Epic had won, then Acti, Beth or Epic himself would have appeared by now. "Still, this isn't too bad of a place." It was full of lakes, rivers, some hills, forests and even some mountains and even caves. It wasn't explored yet, as none of the CPUs in any nation in Ultradimension had allowed anyone who wasn't authorized to explore the new area just yet.

Erika knew that she didn't need permission. "After all, I'm already a criminal for helping Epic out." She shrugged. "So, I wonder what's the first thing I should do."

"That's a good question." A voice she wasn't expecting spoke up and Erika spun around, her eyes wide as she saw Iris Heart floating above her. "Been awhile since I saw you."

"W-wh-what are you doing here?" Erika asked, taking a nervous step back as Iris Heart landed a couple of feet in front of her.

"Hmm?" Iris Heart gave her an amused look. "Well, turns out your old working partners had some good information on you and it helped us track you down." She put her hand on her hip, though for some reason, she didn't have her sword out, "and considering that you and I have unfinished business, I came to see you."

"So what does someone like you want with me?" Erika asked as she started to sweat.

Iris Heart smirked as she crossed her arms under her breasts. "I want to hire you."

"...Huh?" Erika gawked at Iris Heart. "...What the hell?!"

Iris Heart chuckled at her. "Truth is, even with two CPUs running Planeptune, neither of us are very good at it and with the new land area that popped up, I'm finding myself in need of people who can survive the new areas in case there are some strong monsters." She turned to the side and stared to walk in an extended circle around Erika. "From what the boy-girl told me, you're pretty good at recruiting people to work with you, right?"

"You're talking about Matz?" Erika asked and Iris Heart nodded, causing her to sigh. "Yeah, I can get people to work with me, it's how I got so many people to sympathize with Epic's gospel."

Iris Heart gave her an annoyed look but kept quiet about that part. "Let's put it this way, your friends Acti and Beth are in prison for a long time, GBox, Matz and Tyger have left your group, Ubi and Epic are both dead," she noticed that Erika sighed and muttered something under her breath, "you're all that's left."

"...What about Tence?" Erika asked, wondering what happened to her.

"...That girl..." Iris Heart muttered to herself.

*Flash*

Tence trembled as Xinnie's body was destroyed, revealing a black shadow with what looked like black flames all around its body. "G-Go away!"

"IT'S BEEN FAR TOO LONG SINCE YOU BOUND ME TO THIS PLANE, TENCE, ALLOW ME TO SHOW YOU MY GRATITUDE!"

"HELP ME!" Tence screamed as the flames engulfed her before anyone could react. The next moment she was gone.

*End Flashback*

"Yeah, that happened." Iris Heart shook her head. "Last I heard, Noire was quite upset at the guard that cut the demonic teddy bear apart and allowed it to take Tence."

"Well, Xinnie did say it was going to harvest Tence's soul, whatever was left of it, when he got free of his teddy bear prison." Erika muttered as she shook her head. "Really, I hated Tence and Ubi, glad they're both gone." She gave Iris Heart a confused look. "...But why are you asking me to work for you?"

Iris Heart just smirked at her. "Truth is, I need someone with your skill set." She turned and shrugged helplessly. "You have the ability to build things up really easily, remember how you fixed all that broken playground stuff in Lastation?"

"I'm more of a sports girl than a general contractor." Erika pointed out, "but why? I did nothing but cause trouble for you."

Iris Heart smirked and looked back at her. "Yeah, but you're useful. Besides, I need some help after Peashy got her new pet."

"...What does that have to do with anything?" Erika asked, bewildered.

"WHEE!" Peashy cheered as she rode around on the back of a bull that was only slightly bigger than a normal bull. But even though it wasn't too big, it was fast!

Plus it let her see the new areas of Planeptune before anyone else. "Ooooh! That's a big rat!" Peashy's eyes sparkled as she saw the giant rat at on a small hill that was coming up. "Okay, Charlie! Get really big and show him who's boss!"

"MOOO!" The bull let out a bellow as it got bigger...

...And bigger...

...And even though it was larger than a four story condo, it still got bigger.

Until it was so big that just running past the rat crushed the rat so hard that it was defeated with no problem before the bull returned to its previous size.

"Ahahahahahahahaha!" Peashy laughed as she hugged the bull from behind. "Good boy!"

"MOOO!" The bull bellowed out while it ran around. Unlike the other creatures, it had never returned to Celestia. After all, the goddess riding his back apologized for hitting him in the nuts, treated him nice when he showed up at the Basilicom and even fed him pudding!

Peashy just smiled as she got to ride around. "WHEE!"

"Don't worry about it." Iris Heart told her. "Well, would you like to work for me?"

"...Why should I?" Erika asked, narrowing her eyes and Iris Heart sighed and shook her head with her back to Erika.

"Well, you can try to run or you could fight me." Iris Heart turned and the look she gave Erika froze the other woman in her place. "Either way, if you get away from me, you'll spend the rest of your life as a wanted criminal. Or if you fail to get away from me, you'll either end up in prison..." A grin crossed Iris Heart's face as a riding crop appeared in her hands. "Or you could just let me play with you for awhile."

"...That's..." Erika was blue in the face, "remarkably restrained for you." Iris Heart raised her eyebrow as Erika trembled. "I've heard the stories about you."

Iris Heart chuckled and shook her head. "Let me put it this way then... If you work for me you'll be paying off your debt, helping people and you won't have to worry about me using you to release stress." She sighed at the look she got. "I don't use my employees as stress relief." Iris Heart deadpanned.

"Beyond the obvious fact that I hate you for allowing my sister to be captured by the Seven Sages and turned into a monster..." Erika glowered at Iris Heart, "I was your enemy, why are you willing to work with me?"

"Don't think you're the first person who was my enemy that I've worked with?" Iris Heart asked her as she crossed her arms under her breasts. "The truth is, most of my friends now started as enemies of mine. Besides, do you have anywhere else to go?"

Erika opened her mouth before sighing and hanging her head. "...What's the benefit for you?"

"Besides not having to worry about someone who could potentially turn into that lunatic Epic?" Iris Heart asked her. She smiled and turned away. "Well, I figure if Noire hired some of her former enemies to work for her and it worked out, why not do the same? Besides, it might work out best for both of us in the end." She looked over her shoulder. "I could even set you up so you could spend time with your sister so you could reconnect with her."

"...I surrender." Erika said and Iris Heart nodded. "...Just don't use the riding crop on me if I mess up on a mission or something."

"Making mistakes doesn't make me use it on people." Iris Heart pointed out. "Pissing me off does, however."

"Lovely." Erika sighed, but decided to not question it. "...So what's the first order of business, boss lady?"

Leanbox...

Filyn groaned as she sat up and stretched. "Huh, what was I..?" She looked around in confusion before her good eye widened in surprise as she realized that she had taken a nap...

...While sitting on Vert's lap and had been using the blonde's boobs as a pillow. "Ack, sorry, Vert."

"It's quite alright." Vert chuckled softly as she raised her arms above her head and grimaced as she felt her shoulders pop slightly. "Goodness, that felt good."

"Urgh, I can't believe that I'm stuck here." An annoyed voice echoed in their heads, causing them to look at the window where Poofy, in his small Dragon form, sat on window sill. "And get me a freaking perch so I don't have to sit on the floor!" The Dragon growled at them.

Filyn giggled as she got off of Vert's lap. "Alright, alright, you are mine after all." She said as she walked over and rubbed the top of his head.

"Stop it." Poofy growled, though he didn't make any attempt to stop her from rubbing his head.

"Filyn, would you like to stay in Leanbox?" Vert asked, causing Filyn to stop and give her a confused look. "...Well, I thought I could handle things by myself, but I was quite... Mistaken."

"You know that I already have a big sister, right?" Filyn asked and Vert nodded. "...But you know what? Why not? Chromey shouldn't have to worry about both me and Nepthu-oww!" Her eye watered up as she stuck out her tongue. "I bith mah tongue."

Vert giggled at that. "I know I'm not your real big sister, I'm not looking for a little sister, I'm looking for someone to help me with everything that's happening in Leanbox."

Poofy snorted. "It kind of sounds like you want a partner and you're making it sound more than just a business proposal." The Dragon chuckled at the looks that Filyn and Vert had on their faces.

"Not... Quite what I was going for." Vert admitted. "I wasn't propositioning you, unlike what your dragon might think, I was merely..."

"N,no, I get it." Filyn laughed nervously. "Besides, we barely know each other. But yeah, I'd love to help you out. It sucks being the only CPU to never have a nation to run and I've only been a minor helper in Planeptune." Vert had a happy smile come to her face. It was nice to finally have some help.

'And maybe I can finally get caught up on my work.' Vert thought to herself.

Poofy just snorted. '...At least this nation has lots of forests.' He supposed it could be worse. He could be with some moron that ruled a desert country or something.

Hyperdimension...

"You're okay with your decision, Neptune?"

Neptune just smiled and nodded. "Yeah. I have no regrets anymore." The two of them were walking through the new area of Planeptune, taking in the sights and even writing notes down. "Thanks for coming with me."

"You couldn't get rid of me even if you wanted to."

Neptune found her cheeks turning pink as she scratched her cheek. "Yeah, well... Let's go! I wanna explore this new area completely and help set up some new cities and stuff!"

"You just want more stuff named after you."

Neptune nodded and laughed before reaching out and grabbing the other person's hand. "Yeah. Come on, let's go!"

"Yeah."

Epilogue End

Yes, I left it open to interpretation what Neptune chose in the end and even who she was with in the end.

I'll address this more in the final commentary.
