Summer and Raven looked down to the training field below as they watched the Ace Ops demonstrate their skills against an Atlas war machine. The machine was slim and pure white with gold highlights a massive power pack rose from its back like a hump on a camel. On each or its arms was a gold gauntlet like device and in its left hand was a massive energy rifle connected to the power pack and in its right was a massive sword. Wheels were attached to its feet allowing the mecca to zip around the battle field. The mecca similar to its successor the Paladin was built for combat.
Harriet ducked under the Cleric's massive sword using her superior speed to easily gain some distance. However, before she could charge up her speed again after that maneuver her opponent switched to it's rifle and began shooting at her. forcing her to nimbly dodge out of the way. The barrage of shots from the Cleric were stopped when Elm slammed her war hammer Timber slammed into the the gun. Elm braced herself to block the cleric's sword only for Vine to use his semblance to grab onto the sword arm to stop it from swinging. Not perturbed the pilot put the cleric into overdrive wheels turning as the mech zoomed across the battle field pulling the poor huntsmen with it.
"Stay" Marrow yelled as he pointed at the Cleric. Suddenly the mech froze as Marrow used his semblance on it. Quickly capitalizing on their opponents sudden lack of mobility Clover swung his hook like weapon at the Cleric's feet wrapping around both of the mechs legs. Then Harriot dashed forward slamming into the machine causing it to stumble back before it could fall however the gauntlets on the Cleric fired grappling hooks that stuck into the wall righting the machine. But before the mech could completely right itself Marrows boomerang Fetch sliced into the wires cutting them. Vine quickly grabbed onto the legs of the Cleric with his semblance as Elm swung her hammer taking off the the left arm of the machine. Clover ran forward Kingfisher in hand. With grace and agility, he leapt on to the chest of the Mecca and jammed his weapon into its chest and pried open the cockpit. He quickly used his fishing hook weapon to pull out the pilot ending the battle.
The pilot who looked rather young groaned in defeat as he said "Drat, I thought I had you guys this time."
Clover chucked as he said "Don't worry Suzaku you'll get us eventually" he then turned to his men and said "Ace Ops good work. Lets see what the hunts master has to say about our demonstration.
"Yes sir" The Ace Ops replied as one.
Summer turned to her partner before asking "So what did you think."
Raven crossed her arms "I want to see how well they do without their crutch."
Summer chuckled to herself "You are impossible to please."
"But she has a point" a new voice added. The two women turned to the speaker who was leading a group of all female huntresses who said "Sorry to interrupt Hunt Master but I wanted to talk with you. I'm Robyn Hill and these are my Happy Huntresses"
"Its nice to meet you Robyn" Summer said as the two shook hands. "This is my partner Raven." Raven then shook hands with Robyn.
"I've been wondering if you could help me out with something. Dust prices are on the rise and its been hard to arm my huntresses as supplies keep getting stolen. There's only so much the people of mantle can take. Will you be willing to assist us in hitting their layer. We need the best in the cold atlas wastelands?"
But before summer could answer a new voice interrupted them.
"What's are members of the Wall doing here?" Harriet angerly asked. The Ace Ops stood at attention as the Happy huntresses tensed ready to spring into action.
"This training ground is open to any hunter." Robyn shot back.
"The Wall?" Raven asked putting attention to herself. Years of leading the Bronwen tribe had taught her how to defuse situations.
"When General Ironwood became headmaster of Atlas Academy there were those that believed that he was accumulating to much power and that Hunters should be separate from the kingdom's military. Lead and founded by Johana Frost and mainly consisting of hunters from Mantle and the surrounding areas. The Wall is a group of hunters who are outside of Ironwoods chain of command. Ma'am" Marrow answered.
"Unfortunately, The Wall despite their good intentions have made it hard to organize Atlas's defenses." Clover stated before looking at Robyn "Robyn, we need to talk with Johana about our duty to Atlas"
"The kingdom or the city" Robyn asked sharply.
However, before Clover or any of the Ace Ops answered Suaku ran into the room "I just got a call from General Ironwood. Their was an attempt on Jacques Schnee's life it failed but he want the ace ops immediately"
