At the library of sparklings, there were now only a handful of sparklings and younglings that had been left unclaimed. Some were unclaimed because their creators were actually missing or dead and some were unclaimed because they had been the results of experiements that had been performed. Ratchet looked over these last unclaimed sparklings and younglings, and he felt bad for them. He hoped that each would find a loving family.
This day saw Megatron coming to visit as he wanted to see how many were left. Optimus, not one to let his sparked mate go alone, was with Megatron. Megatron and Optimus were stunned and saddened to see that there were still unclaimed little ones. "Why are these young ones still here?" Optimus asked, as he had seen a few of them many times in his many visits.
"Sadly, their creators are either dead/missing or they were results of experiments" Ratchet replied.
Megatron sighed. He didn't like hearing that. He now wanted all to have a home and a family to belong to. "How many are left in total?" Megatron asked.
"Three younglings, four older sparklings, and three very young sparklings" Ratchet revealed, a total of ten young ones. Some were flyers, some were grounders, and one or two appeared to be triple changers. Megatron looked at the young bots. Optimus did as well, as Optimus had a feeling what Megatron was thinking, but he wasn't quite sure.
"What is going through your mind, my beloved?" Optimus asked.
"I was thinking that we could bring these last ones into our precious family" Megatron answered, stunning both Optimus and Ratchet.
"Are you sure we can do that, as you are sparked, my love?" Optimus asked, not wanting to overload his mate with work.
"With the precious sparklings and younglings we have, I think we could adopt them so that they have a family" Megatron replied, causing Optimus to smile.
"If you think that we can do that, then I will support you and bring these precious little ones into our brood" Optimus stated and then looked to Ratchet, who nodded that this would be considered acceptable to him.
"Alright it is all settled. They are coming home with us" Megatron stated as he went in to pick up one of little sparklings. Optimus agreed and he went to talk with the older sparklings and younglings. One or two were worried , but most were happy to be wanted. Soon, Megatron and Optimus left with the last ten little ones. Ratchet was happy, as was Hook who had been watching silently.
"Well, all now have a family" hook finally said.
"Yes, and we can now shut down the library of sparklings and make it something else" Ratchet stated.
"I don't think we should close it, but change it's purpose" Hook proposed.
"And just what should we use it for?" Ratchet asked.
"A youth Center for accepting unwanted sparklings and younglings so that they have somewhere to go if their family rejects them or can't care for them anymore for various reasons and have them available to be adopted by another family who may want sparklings/younglings but for one reason or another are unable to" Hook stated.
Ratchet smiled. "I like the idea, but we can't be the only bots on staff if that is the case" Ratchet replied. Hook noddded. They would start looking for more bots to help, but both knew that this would be theBest repurpose of this building. Now, it was just a matter of time before the new purpose could begin.
