RAW: 21/1/2008

Monday Night RAW was live at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia. RAW was now live in HD, with a new stage set to go with it. In the first match of the night, Shawn Michaels took on Mr. Kennedy. The two locked up and Kennedy grabbed an arm bar and jaw jacked a bit before being sent to the ropes only to level HBK with a shoulder block. Kennedy was on a role the whole early part of the match here, hitting two big arm drags before HBK wiggled around to a front face lock.

Kennedy spun out and went to the hammer lock but HBK fought out and the two criss crossed and exchanged some single leg nonsense before a few quick near falls. HBK went to the headlock only to be countered by a pair of Kennedy scissors. The two kept rolling around and countering before they backed off and gave each other a stare down.

Kennedy stopped the wrestling crap and began throwing punches and knees to HBK's face and the stuff earned him a near fall. Kennedy hit an awfully aggressive rear chin lock before raking away at the former champions' eyes.

Kennedy grabbed cravat and kept on doing this inverted back breaker thingy that makes Indy fans swoon everywhere. Kennedy kept up the stiffy stiff stiff stuff and kept on earning near falls here and there. Kennedy trash talked some and HBK took exception and fought back with some strikes. He countered a suplex and hit a swinging neck breaker and was finally able to give himself a little space to breathe.

The two exchanged some stiff strikes before HBK hit the forearm. Michaels went into his victory sequence rather abruptly and scaled the ropes. HBK dropped the elbow on Kennedy before tuning up the band. Kennedy went careening out of the ring in an attempt to avoid the maneuver only for HBK to flip himself over the top rope and onto his face.

RAW then went to commercial break.

*After the commercial break*

Kennedy was able to capitalize on Michaels after running him into the ring post on the outside. Kennedy set up a slumping HBK in the corner and hit a nasty running face wash for a two count.

Michaels fought back with chops and other manly slaps before completely taking Kennedy out with a nasty clothesline. These guys are working REALLY stiff tonight. Kennedy went for a Mic Check but HBK avoided him. Kennedy bullied him to the corner and propped him up on the top rope before scaling them himself and going for a top rope super plex.

Michaels battled on the top and was able to knock Kennedy back to the mat. He went for another elbow, but Kennedy got the knee up and Michaels was stunned badly. Kennedy went for the Green bay Plunge and connected but only got a two count.

Michaels popped up after Kennedy was busy admonishing the referee and took Kennedy's legs out from underneath him and went for that submission. Kennedy staggered back avoiding the move, but as he reeled around Michaels nailed him with sweet chin music. That's all she wrote.

As Michaels celebrated his win however...

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

Dark Side plays before fire explodes on the stage and out comes the Bladewolf with no title in sight. He marches down towards the ring where Michaels was waiting. Nobody knew why Bladewolf was out here, but they know it can't be good.

Bladewolf slides into the ring and Michaels charges but gets an uppercut for his troubles. Bladewolf grabs Michaels and sends him into the corner before eh grabs Kennedy and sends him into the opposite corner then runs back and fourth, hitting turnbuckle clotheslines on the two men. Bladewolf then stops, and grabs both men by the throat before he lifts them up...AND HITS A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM!

Bladewolf breaths heavily as he stands tall over the two bodies he just laid out. He flips his hair back before he grabs Michaels, scoops him up so he's upside down in front of him...THEN HITS THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! Bladewolf then grabs Kennedy, scoops him up onto his shoulders...AND HITS THE FURY OF THE WOLF!

Bladewolf gets to his feet then raises his arms before throwing them down, which makes four lightning bolts hit the turnbuckles and fire shoots up in response as his theme plays, the lights going to the dark blue and sinister blood red. Bladewolf leaves the ring and heads to the back as Michaels and Kennedy are left laid out. This was all a message to everyone else competing in the Royal Rumble match.

And Bladewolf wasn't finished just yet...

Later

Finlay and Hornswoggle took on the Highlanders. Finlay worked over both guys before eating a Rory lariat. Hornswoggle bought him plenty of time with his antics and even got some crazy non sense in. Finlay loaded up Rory for a Celtic Cross and nailed it before tagging in Hornswoggle. Hornswoggle nailed the tadpole splash and that's it.

As Finlay and Hornswoggle celebrated their win...

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

Dark Side plays before fire explodes on the stage and out comes the Bladewolf once again with evil intentions. Bladewolf slides into the ring and grabs Finlay by the throat, lifts him up...AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM!

Bladewolf stares down at Finlay before he leaves the ring and grabs both Highlanders by the throat, lifts them up...AND PLANTS THEM THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE WITH DOUBLE CHOKESLAMS!

Bladewolf flips his hair back and raises his arms before throwing them down which makes lightning bit the turnbuckles and fire shoot sup as the lights go to the dark blue and sinister blood red. Bladewolf's theme plays as the Demon Wolf leaves, leaving carnage and destruction in his wake as RAW goes to commercial break...

This was mostly Bladewolf showing he is a destructive monster that will destroy anybody, Face or heel, even if he's Face or Heel, he will destroy every WWE Superstar that gets in his way and use evil tactics. He's still a Face, well mostly a Tweener but everyone's cheering him. It's like when Stone Cold and Undertaker turn Heel and everyone still cheers them because they are that damn good at what they do.
