Sarah: What loss?
Police officer: Your son
Sarah: Which son?
Police officer: The one that was taken away from you
Sarah: I barely knew him
Police officer: I bet you barely knew your other children too
(Kyle tries Sarah to see the light by embracing the truth of the matter)

Time Period: Sarah's Dream Reality
Place: Auckland, New Zealand
Action: Post The Sky Tower-Chance is so tired that he falls asleep in the car on the way back to the family vocation home. John (the driver) is captivated and amused by his little brother. John feels blessed to have Chance in his life. After John parks the car In the driveway, John carries a sleeping Chance into the house.
Sarah (gathering a sleeping Chance up into her arms): My poor precious baby is exhausted
John: Chance and I had a fun time at the Sky Tower. I didn't have any issues with him. He was a good boy.
Sarah (holding tightly onto Chance): I knew I could trust you with Chance. I thank you for not letting me down.
John: No problem, mom
Sarah (taking Chance to his room): I am going to tuck your brother into bed
(John takes a shower and then falls asleep before him and his family embark a new fun adventure)
Time Period: A Flashback to many months before Chance's birth
Situation: John views Chance's sonogram for the first time
Action: Sarah returns home from her doctor appointment bearing a huge gift for John
Sarah (sitting down on the couch beside John): I have a huge gift for you
John (perking up): What is it?
Sarah (showing the sonogram pictures to John): These are Chance's most recent sonogram pictures
John (amazed and yet a little concerned): I am happy, but I am concerned
Sarah (feeling sad and guilty over Chance's Down Syndrome): I know Chance has Down Syndrome
John (choked up): What are you going to do?
Sarah (fighting back tears): I am going to love and keep him no matter what
John (squeezing Sarah's hand): I will support you every step of the way
Sarah (hugging John): I love you
John: I love you too

Place: A Hospital Delivery Room
Situation: In Kyle's absence, John helps Sarah with Chance's birth
Sarah (experiencing a burning ring of fire): OH HE
John (coaching Sarah): Breathe and push through the pain, mom
Sarah (inbetween contractions): I can feel him crowning. It hurts so badly.
Doctor (touching the top of Chance's head): The baby is crowning. This is a welcomed good sign.
Sarah (giving into her pain): AHA...AHA...AHA
John: Thats a good strong push, mom
Sarah (still screaming and pushing): AHA...AHA...AHA
Doctor (placing Chance on Sarah's stomach): This is your son
(Both Sarah and John cry tears of joy and fall deep in love with Chance)
