We spent hours waiting for news, none of us being up to talking much. I sat in an armchair with Ginny cuddled up against me, stroking her hair until Molly had returned. Arthur was going to pull through, which was a relief. Everyone promptly went to bed and Ginny slept in my room with me for company and comfort. Our things arrived early in the morning, so everyone prepared to head to the hospital in order to visit, they could all blend in with muggle clothing, though I chose to stay behind with dad. "Are you sure dear? Arthur would love to see you, after all." Molly said, giving me one last chance to change my mind before they headed out the door.

"No, no, you all go, I don't want to overcrowd him. I'll visit a bit later once things have calmed down. Give him my love, will you?" Promising she would, everyone left, leaving me in the house with just dad and Kreacher. "So, what do you think, dad?"

"I think that Arthur was very lucky that Harry was able to see what happened." He answered immediately, putting a hand on my shoulder to give it a squeeze. "But I am worried, these visions he's having aren't a good sign. Dumbledore is worried about him, but I don't know what to say to him. You know he told me how he wanted to attack Dumbledore right before leaving the office?"

"I saw it on his face. It was a little unexpected, but to be honest, I'm not surprised. I've had a theory that whatever it is Harry shares with Voldemort, it's affecting him. He's been a great deal angrier since summer, more impatient, and from what I know Voldemort seems to be after something, right? His emotions are impacting on Harry. I'm worried that, maybe, Voldemort is starting to realise the connection exists. What if he saw Dumbledore through Harry, and that's why Harry felt like he wanted to attack him?" Dad said nothing but looked extremely grim. In the end we decided not to worry about it for now and instead, started to hunt down Christmas decorations so that we could begin getting the house ready for Christmas.

We were sorely lacking in festive décor, so I decided to go out and get some things later like a tree. You had to have a tree at Christmas, it's traditional. Our family didn't seem to have much by means of decorations, it was all rather dreary so I set about ploughing through some of the rooms, eradicating dust, brightening the wallpapers and adding a magical touch to it all. I had snow falling from the ceiling down the hallway and fading when it touched the carpet, icicles that never melted from every grove, shelf and window.

I ripped down the old curtains and threw them out, letting light flood into the rooms with a reversal charm so that people could look out but not look in. I hung golden bells and baubles, showered golden glitter and sparkles onto every surface, made garlands of holly to hang on every door in the house with miniature ice sculptures of all kinds of beautiful creatures and snowflakes floating around in every room. "You really mean serious business, don't you?" Dad whistled as he looked around at my handiwork.

"This is our first Christmas together properly and I am going to make sure that everything is perfect. Of course, there's still so much decorating to be done, but I can't do it all as that wouldn't be fair on the others. I'm sure I can persuade Moody to let me go Christmas shopping for supplies and more decorations, we'll need a tree, then there's presents, stockings, hats, crackers…there's so much to do! Come on dad, House Black is hosting Christmas, and this year, Molly's having the season off!" Thrilled to have something to do, dad threw himself into his chores as I listed them off for him and together we made the entire bottom floor far more presentable and festive.

Waving his wand to switch on the radio, dad amplified it so that the music could be heard throughout the house no matter what room we were working in, and as we laughed and joked together, he'd take my hand in order to dance with me to the festive melodies whilst dusting and cleaning away. We cleaned through as many rooms as we could, laundered the bed sheets and towels, making them perfectly new and fluffy, smelling fresh and wonderful before setting up the guest bedrooms so that everyone would be comfortable and we had just finished the last room when everyone came back. "You're back! How is Arthur? Is he alright?"

"Perfectly cheerful, he'll be right as rain in no time." Molly promised. "Oh my! Did you do all of this whilst we were gone?" Brightly nodding my head, I promised Ginny and everyone else that there was still more decorating to do, but their rooms were all now properly prepared and were halfway through to being completely refurbished. It was like I'd taken a cloth to the grimiest window which hung over the house and wiped it clean. Everything was brighter, no longer possessing the dull, tinted light as I'd stormed through as much as I possibly could in the last five hours.

Armed with my shopping list, Tonks was very eager to help me collect all of the essentials we needed and offered to come with me. Ginny wanted to come too but Molly preferred for her to stay at headquarters, so I promised to pick up some of her favourite foods to eat. Molly worried about how we were going to pay for everything on my list, suggesting as we all apparated into Diagon Alley that we might have to shorten it a bit, but I promptly plucked it from her fingers. "Mrs Weasley, you are not to think of so much as looking at your purse. You are being hosted by the Ancient and Most Noble House of Black, and therefore we shall see to all the arrangements." I said to her with a smile before tilting my head. "So let's get to it, shall we? Gringotts first."

So we went to Gringotts and after presenting my father's key to the family vault, I was allowed to go and take whatever I wanted from within. It was rather shocking at first, seeing it all. There was just gold everywhere, perhaps a little bit of silver here or there, but no bronze at all. Not only were there gold galleons, but jewellery and tiaras, rings and goblets and literally everything one could ever need to live lavishly for the rest of their life without having to work for a single day. It took a few moments to sink in, but then I shook my head and grabbed a few handfuls of galleons and stuffed them into my purse which swallowed them up hole.

Tonks was great to hang out with, and her being clumsy only made it more entertaining. As it so happened, we were actually cousins. Second cousins, since our parents were first cousins, but still, I was rather happy to be related to Tonks. We shopped for a couple hours, grabbing all the necessities and decorations we needed and saved the tree for last, which we shrank down so that Tonks could stuff it into her pocket, winking at me as we did so. We had food, candles, drinks, decorations, some presents, ribbons, wrapping paper, more decorations, the tree, literally everything I could think of. Once I was through with that house, it was going to look like someone had opened a Christmas cracker over it.
