(9:30am) 7 minutes later…

Summer Bay – Tony and Rachel's House – Living Room and Kitchen

After the conversation that had happened between Lee, Steve Braeburn and himself, Lucas had now arrived home and headed straight into the kitchen.

"Have a nice time?" Matilda suddenly asks.

Opening the fridge, Lucas replies: "Look I'm sorry I couldn't stay this morning."

"Yeah right, all this stuff with Lee is bad enough. You don't have to start lying now too."

"You know what just forget I said anything." Lucas tells her.

"FINE!" Matilda shouts at him.

Hearing the shouting from his bedroom, Charlie came running into the kitchen and found his adopted siblings arguing again: "Can you two not give it a rest for more than five minutes?"

"Nothing that comes out of his mouth actually means anything anyway." Matilda says directing the comment at Lucas.

"Oh, grow up!" Lucas tells her.

"The both of you need to stop it." Charlie tells them which causes Matilda to walk out of the room "What is wrong with you two?"

"It's all her Charlie."

"Don't blame this all on Mattie she has every right to be angry with you."

Tony then walks in after grabbing something from his car: "What's happened now?"

"Oh, just Luc and Mattie arguing resulting in this one telling her to grow up." Charlie informs him "By the way Lucas, you could have handled it better than you did."

"Yeah well, so could she Charlie."

Sighing, Tony says: "Look mate, I know you have got a lot on your mind, but you do have to consider her feelings."

"Her feelings? After what she did to me why should I?"

Charlie decided to remind Lucas: "Even though you two broke up and she started dating Ric, you still kinda cheated on her when the two of you were still together Lucas."

"Okay, enough with the lectures."

"We are just trying to talk to you." Tony said not liking the tone of his son's attitude.

"Well, talking isn't going to fix this." Lucas replies before saying "I've got an assignment to finish so."

With that Lucas leaves the room, Charlie then says to Tony: "Are you going to be okay with them two for a few hours?"

"Really?" Tong laughs "Where you are going like?"

"Just to see some mates in Yabbie Creek." Charlie replies before heading out of the kitchen to grab his wallet from his bedroom.

Summer Bay – Leah and Dan's House – Living Room

Morag had just left after reading the will leaving the Leah, Dan and Drew to let what she read sink in.

"You don't understand, I need that money." Drew suddenly says breaking the silence.

Leah who was now sitting down at the table replied: "Well em, Pete's will is a legal document Drew, we can't ignore it."

"Then how about you guys give me twenty grand of your cash now and then in six months when my money comes through you can keep it?"

Dan looks at Leah from where he was sat on the arm of the sofa before telling Drew: "Mate, we don't have twenty thousand dollars lying around."

"You could sell that car my dad left," Drew says standing up as he tries to think of ways of getting the cash "and what about that share portfolio?"

"It's not worth anywhere near that."

"Well, it would be a start."

"Okay look, beside the fact we don't have the money anyhow, Peter made himself clear. He doesn't want you to have it till your eighteen."

"And what's the rush?" Leah says to Drew "It's only six months away."

"Cause I have nothing alright." Drew points out "So, unless you guys want me living on the streets…"

"The way I see it is you've got three choices." Dan says interrupting his nephew "One, you can leave now without any money, two you can go and stay with your mum."

"Yeah, because she wants me hanging around." Drew laughs at the thought of going home to his mum.

"Well then three, you can stay with us. Get to know the family and we'll look after you till the money comes through." Dan says standing up.

"What stay here with you?"

"And we'll support you financially until you turn eighteen."

"Why would I want to stay here?" Drew quizzes his uncle.

"Well, you just said that you had nothing." Dan reminds him "So, the choice is yours."

(9:41am) 11 minutes later…

Summer Bay – The Den

"Come on Casey, you've got to eat something." Ruby says to her boyfriend who was just playing with his bacon sandwich.

"She's right mate." Aden replies as he returns to the table.

Casey pushes his plate away finally giving up with playing the sandwich: "I'm just not hungry guys."

"Do you seriously expect us to believe that? After all this is you, we are talking about here." Aden jokes.

"Well, believe it or not Aden I'm not always hungry. Especially when my mind has more important things to worry about." Casey tells both his friend and girlfriend.

"He's going to wake up." Ruby repeats herself for what she felt like was the seventh millionth time.

"And if he doesn't then what."

"They will try again." Aden said to him.

"Aden's right, they will just keep trying." Ruby said when her phone made a noise and she reads the text "Looks, like Drew might staying in the Bay. Dan give him three options apparently and that was one of them. Leah says they'll let me know what he decides to do."

"Who's Drew?" Aden asked her.

"Dan's nephew. Turns out Peter had a secret son no one else knew about till now." Ruby informs him then quickly changes the topic back to what they had been talking about "Now Casey, until we hear from Brax can you please one eat you breakfast and two, think positively?"

Ruby pushes the plate back towards her boyfriend as he says: "Fine but I ain't making any promises on the eating front."

Ruby smiles as she feels she succeeded a little bit in making Casey think of something other than his brother not waking up.

At the same time…

Summer Bay – Yabbie Creek – Northern Districts Hospital – ICU – Kyle's Room

Brax and Ricky were currently sat in Kyle's hospital room waiting for Kyle to wake up.

"How long did Sid say this would take?" Ricky asked as she had forgotten.

"Well, they started to reduce his sedation during the night so it could be anytime." Brax reminds her "Apparently it's different from person to person."

"I'll tell you something."

"What?"

"It's going to be good to hear his voice again."

"Yeah, and I can't wait to be able to take him home eventually." Brax says as he holds his brother's hand.

"But first we will have to make sure he healthy before we even think about letting him leave this place even if it is depressing to be a hospital bed." Ricky points out not wanting anything else to happen to Kyle.

For a couple of minutes the pair are silent until Brax feels a slight pressure on his hand and he looks up to see Kyle starting to open his eyes...
