(10:18am) 37 minutes later…

After Kyle had woke up and while the doctors were doing their checks, Brax and Ricky had informed the rest of the family what had happened. Now everyone but Heath and Bianca were crowded into Kyle's ICU room.

"It's so good to have you awake." Ricky smiles.

Kyle smiles: "Thanks."

"Are you feeling okay?" Brax checks "Because if you aren't, we can get Sid back in here."

"Yeah, I'm all good Brax I'm just wondering about the others. Mostly Belle to be fair."

"They all fine."

"Are you sure Brax?"

"Yes, as far as I'm aware both Rocco and Colby are now home. Xavier is going home either today or tomorrow and the same with Belle." Brax informs him.

"What about Bianca?" Kyle starts to worry.

Suddenly the doors open, and someone says: "What about me?"

Kyle smiles with relive when Heath pushes Bianca over to the bed.

"Your okay?" Kyle asks making sure.

"I'm fine Kyle whereas you on the other hand had us all really worried." Bianca replies, "Me even more than this lot."

Kyle doesn't say anything instead he looks down at his hands.

"Kyle?" they all say in unison.

"I'm fine I swear, I'm just sorry about what happened and the fact I had you all worried."

"Kyle, we worried about all of you." Heath speaks up which earns a laugh from Casey.

Casey says with a hint of anger: "You weren't worried about anyone, but Bianca so don't lie to him."

"Don't start Casey, I was worried about Kyle just as much as Bianca even if I didn't show it." Heath said trying to stand up for his actions.

"Guys, now isn't the time to start arguing." Ricky tells them which shuts the two brothers up.

"If only I had taken the full container of my tablets then what happened in the bush would never have happened." Kyle tells them "My secret wouldn't have been discovered by Colby, Xavier or even Belle but because I kept collapsing due to the lack of medication they found out."

Casey notices how upset Kyle is but knows he needs to tell his brother: "Now probably isn't the right time to tell you this but our other friends know as well."

"What? How?"

"I may have accidently told them. I'm sorry bro but they promised they wouldn't tell anyone else." Casey states.

Sighing Kyle replies: "It's fine I guess it was going to get out eventually."

"Moving back on to the topic of your tablets." Brax then continued "Sid said that what you did with the amount you had especially after Rocco explained how you had lost some, by only having half a day you managed to make them last to the point where we could find you."

"But now look what that's done. Sid told me about how low my GFR is." Kyle says to them "So I know if it drops another 2%, I will be in kidney failure."

"And if that happens, we will do something, but until then let's just be grateful your awake and home." Bianca says to him.

"Well, I'm not really home, am I?" Kyle smiles.

"Don't even think about it." They all say which causes them to all laugh.

(11:47am) 1 hour and 29 minutes later…

Summer Bay – Leah and Dan's House – Kitchen

While the Braxton family were all gathered at the hospital, Leah and Dan were currently making lunch all the while discussing Drew.

"It might be nice for me and Drew to get to know each other." Dan says to his wife "You don't mind, do you?"

"No of course not, I think it's a really lovely gesture and I really hope he takes you up on it," Leah replies "but em, just don't be too disappointed if he doesn't okay."

"Yeah I know, the reality is he's barely said two words to me since he got here last night but you saw how he was with VJ and Ryan. It's like there's a good kid underneath all that attitude." Dan said to her.

"Yeah look, I just think we need to be careful. He's been through a lot over the last few weeks and I just don't think we should put pressure on him, okay?" Leah says which has Dan agreeing.

As the two of them go back to making lunch Drew walks in from the living room: "Em, so look I've been thinking and I'll guess I'll stick around for a while. I mean it's not like I've got much choice, is there?"

Smiling, Dan responds: "Well, even so we are happy to have yeh."

"Yeah well, don't be because it's not like we are going to be playing happy families or anything. I mean I'd have to be able to do my own thing and you wouldn't be able to tell me what to do."

"Right, well we'll play that one by ear yeah." Dan says just as Ruby comes rushing into the house.

Drew not liking the answer Dan give him and just ignoring Ruby said: "I'm going to see what Ryan and VJ are up too."

Watching him leave, Ruby asks: "Was it something I've done?"

"It's not you don't worry." Leah laughs "Anyway what's got you so happy?"

"Kyle's awake." Ruby smiles "Anyway I have homework to complete, so I'll be in my room if you need me."

As Ruby leaves the room as well, Dan says to Leah: "Eventually some good news."

Meanwhile…

Summer Bay – Caravan Park – Sally's House – Open Space Living Room and Kitchen

Rocco and Cassie were currently sat having an early lunch with Sally, Johnny and Alf when the two teen's phones made a noise.

"You two know the rules about no phones at the table." Sally reminds them both.

"Yeah, we know Sal but it's from Casey." Cassie replied.

Reading the message, Rocco said: "Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know Kyle has woken up. So as soon as he has been moved from the ICU you can all see him. Also, he knows about the thing that I told you all."

"Casey told him." Cassie said shocked "I didn't think he'd want Kyle to know that we all knew."

"What do you know?" Rocco asked slightly confused.

"You know very well what I'm on about mister. Casey told us all that you knew but these three don't, I think." Cassie told her boyfriend which earned looks from the three adults sat at the table.

"Don't know what?" Johnny asked curiously.

"Nothing." They both say at the same time.

"It's clearly something but I think for now we should just be happy that everyone is going to be ok." Alf says to them.

"Yeah, we should." Rocco smiles "Oh by the way Mr Stewart, you don't know what happened to Ryan after we were all saved?"

"Ryan?"

"The pilot."

"Oh right, he was taken to another hospital but from what I heard he was doing fine." Alf replies.

"That's good I suppose." Rocco smiles then says to Cassie "Fancy going for a walk?"

Cassie nods her head: "Sure, do you want us to clean up Sal?"

"No that's ok we've got it." Sally tells them.

With that the two teens head off for a walk and to have some time to themselves after everything that happened.
