Apparently, Animal Control were baffled by open tash-cans, describing some kind of young, furry superhero helping nocturnal animals in New York, but we're not sure about the identity of this super-powered youngster that has been doing this, wondering why they're doing this.
Ranger and Riley exchanged a grin while Rocket spat coffee out, watching the morning-news together, while waiting for the compound to wake-up makijg Ranger andRiley laugh knowing it was their little kit that the news was talking about, knowing how their little brother could react, plus Casey was finding her own superhero vibe, because Rocket let Shocket do Avenger training, but saying that Casey would have to wait, until she was a bit older which ticked her off.
"We should make our little Raccoon Girl some coffee, to mentally wake her up." Riley whispered to Ranger.
"What're you two up to, not mischief, or encouraging antics, right?" Rocket asked his brother andsister.
They shook their furry heads going to thekitchen, seeing Casey entering after taking a shower to get the scent of trash off her, so that Rocket would not get suspicious, her eyes widening hearing people had been talking about her on thenews, making Riley and Ranger chuckle, ruffling her shoulder-length hair as she was drinkijg makijg herfeel better.
She was helping them make breakfast for them, knowing she would sleep the rest of the day, seing Shocket awake, bragging about her Avengers training, making Casey a tad annoyed by her cousin doing that frowning until her mom reminded her, that Shocket was not being talked about on the morning news, making a smirk return to Casey's furry face, confusing Shocket wondering why Casey was up so early.
"Why're you up so early, Shockietoldme?" Casey asked smirking.
"Don't call that, you know that?" Shocket replied mad.
Shesaw her dad enter makimg Ranger and Riley relieved, making Rocket smirk, as a little teasing between cousins did not mean harm, knowingCasey could handleit, more than Shocket, plus he was seeing Linda wanting to show them, looking at her, focusing transforming into a raccoon, like her, Casey andRocket, makimg Shocket impressed along with Rocket knowing the femaleduckling hadthe X-gene, making Shocket wonderif herdad was alright.
"Your pal is a tant, she has the X-gene, but let's , let's go." Rocket said.
Casey was hoping that her cousin and her friend were alright, putting her sbowl into the sink, going to her room, seeing her pet bazaki, Rufus was awake, in his house that she had made, using art supplies, putting his breakfast into his bowl before getting onto her bed cuddling her stuffed raccoon, Stripes that she had dressed to ook like Rocket, zoning-out, just as Riley checked on her.
"Yep, she's out lime a light, but so proud of her." she told Ranger.
"Yep, plus Rocket seems freaked out, as Shocket's getting a test." Ranger told her.
They were just hanging out, drinkimg ice-tea, because it helped them keep calm, instead of soda whichwould make them rabidin energy saving somefor Casey, because after sleeping, she got thirsty, seeing Rocket there, sayingShocket had the X-gene like Linda, hejust didn't know what her powers were compared to Linda making them understand, hugging him.
"It just makes her cool, like you." Ranver assured him.
"Thanks, as this is a little strange." Rocket replied.
Plus he had learnt about theXavier School for Gifted Youngsters, a school for kids likeLinda andShocket, maybe Casey too with her many powers, wondering why Casey wasso tired lately, but shewould just say she was up late, or pleadthefifth amendent makimg himsigh unaware of her heroics relieving Ranger andRiley that Rockethad stopped badgering Casey about that.
Casey woke up later that afternoon, rubbing sleep from her eyes with a paw giving Rufus his lunch, feeling hungry herself going downstairs to the kitchen, relieving RangerandRiley making herNutella sandwiches with coffee, to help her out hearing her asking ifShocket and Linda were alright making them nodding in reply, plus she saw a pamphlet for some fancy school making her stomach churn with anxiety, guessing what thesurprise was, despite Ranger and Riley assuring her, that this school wfor her.
"Okay, it's nota boarding school, right, I get to see you ad mom at the end of the day, right?" she asked throughtears.
"No sweetie it's not a boarding-school, a hour away from here, we'd miss you ifit wasa boarding-school." Ranger assured her.
Rocket was very impressed thatthey'd told Casey about her new school, like he'd toldLinda andShocket, knowing Casey was shy around new peopleand places, so maybe Ranger andRiley could help her out, with being confident in herself, just not too confident seeing them agreeing with him, knowing she was confident being Raccoon Girl, helping other kits her age, only Casey herself wasa scaredycoon which was fine with that.
"Just eat, we'll talk more about this later, sweetie?" Riley told her, making Casey nod.
They saw Linda in the raccoon form that she hadturned into, showing them her newly-discovered powers, guessing it made her feel closer to Shocket, since they considered themselves sisters, knowing they were excited about their new school compared to Casey makimg him sigh letting them be.
Lylla was impressed by Rocket's handling of this situation, knowing that Shocket would find having powers awesome along with her new school stunned that RangerandRiley wasenrolling Casey into Xavier's School forGited Youngsters too, making Rocketnod in reply hoping that Casey was alright, thinkijg that she would be happy, about a school for kids like her, that hadpowers knowing that his brother and sisterwould know, how to help her deal with this.
Later that night, aCasey put on her Raccoon Girl armour, after feeding Rufus, using her cloaking-power to sneak out, doing her nightly routine of heroics after eating Mexican for dinner, hoping her new school would not put a stop to this, returning just asthe sun came up, yawning takimg a shower, changing into pyjamas giving Rufus breakfast getting onto her bed, cuddlimg Stripes falling asleep, unaware her uncle was curious thanks to the morning news., making Ranger shake hisfurry head at his litle brother.
"At leastbeingRaccoon Girl will distract her, from her new school." Riley whispered to hm makimg pancakes for them, makimg enough for when Casey woke up, makimg Rocket sigh, seeing Linda and Shocket awake andbeing rambunctious, makimg him laugh at their antics.
