"Don't let it out of your sights!" Goh shouted.
"I'm not! But you have to keep up too!" Ash shouted back.
"I'm trying, Golurk doesn't want to work with me today!" Goh shouted.
"I told you to go with Skarmory!" Ash shouted.
"If you two don't stop arguing you'll lose track of Mew again!" Chloe scolded over the radio.
They had finally caught sight of Mew, and were hot on its trail. Ash on Charizard, and Goh on Golurk. There hadn't been time to grab Chloe.
"Goh, down there, it flew towards that island!" Ash shouted.
"I'm right behind you!" Goh shouted back.
On the ground
"Come on where'd you go?" Ash said, looking for any sign of the elusive Pokémon.
"Ash, where's Mew?!" Goh asked, hopping off of Golurk.
"I don't know, it was gone by the time I landed." Ash said.
"Well maybe it's still here. Chloe can you get and idea on where we are? Chloe?" Goh asked.
"And communication is down. No gps signal either." Ash said looking at his phone.
"So how do we track Mew down now?" Goh asked.
"Same way as last time. Let's go this way!" Ash exclaimed heading into the forest. Pikachu following right behind him.
A while later
"Ash look at that!" Goh said, amazed at the ruins before them.
"Do you think Mew might've gone in there?" Ash asked.
"I don't know, there's so little known about Mew, that I can't say for sure." Goh said pondering.
"Hey Goh, look." Ash said quietly.
Just inside the entrance to the ruins was Mew. Idly floating about, almost as if it was waiting for them.
"You're not getting away this time! Pokeball go!" Goh shouted.
Mew teleported out of the way of the ball, before flying further into the ruins.
"After them!" Goh shouted, scrambling to get going.
"Goh, some of these hieroglyphs are strange." Ash said looking at the walls inside the ruins. "They look like they're depicting Mew."
"So maybe this is where Mew is from?" Goh said.
"Then why would it bring us here?" Ash asked.
"What do you mean, we chased it here." Goh said.
"Did we though? We lost it, and yet it waited for us. I think Mew wants us here." Ash said.
"Dii?" A Pokémon called out.
"Look Ash! It's a Ditto!" Goh exclaimed. "Pokeball go!"
Moments later the Ditto was captured and added to Goh's Pokédex.
"Goh, promise me you won't panic, but I need you to not move a muscle." Ash said.
"Why would I panic?" Goh said, turning around. Face to face with a Golbat.
"Why didn't you warn me!" Goh shouted.
"I tried!" Ash shouted back as they ran away from the Golbat. "Pikachu use Thunderbolt!"
The attack seemed to frighten the Golbat enough to make it fly off.
"Well, we're officially lost, in ruins, on an island, that isn't on a map, and Chloe is the only one who knows we left." Goh said, defeated.
Back at the lab
"We have to find out where they went!" Professor Cerise said, searching the digital maps.
"I'm telling you one second they were talking over the radio, and then the next, nothing!" Chloe said, equally panicked.
"Everyone stop yelling! It's making Francois nervous!" Ren yelled.
Back with Ash and Goh
"I'm sure we'll be back before anyone notices we're even gone." Ash said confidently.
'squeak'
Ash lifted his foot to see a small toy he had stepped on.
"That's… strange." Ash commented lifting it up.
"Not as strange as the rest of them." Goh commented.
The entire room was filled with all sorts of things, some of which weren't even toys. It was all just stuff.
"Do you think this is Mew's stuff?" Ash asked, setting the toy down.
"Maybe, but why these things. They're so random." Goh said.
"Maybe, maybe not. All of these are man made. Maybe it's Mew's way of studying us." Ash said looking at a pile of just blue suitcases.
"Who knew Mew was such a hoarder." Goh joked.
"Mew's probably still up ahead, we should keep going." Ash said.
"Before we go, one quick question." Goh said.
"What's up?" Ash asked.
"Is that a moving truck?" Goh said looking at the truck.
"Yes, I think it is." Ash said a bit dumbfounded.
The next room
"That's a big carving of Mew." Ash said in shock.
"But where's Mew!" Goh said annoyed.
"Mew." Mew meowed, floating by.
"Goh aren't you going to try and catch it?" Ash whispered, tapping him on the shoulder.
"I don't know what's going on. My arms aren't working." Goh whispered back. "Are yours?"
"Goh, who do you think is tapping you, but let me try and grab a... Nope my arms stopped working too." Ash admitted.
Mew meanwhile was just having a fun rtime, laughing and spinning around.
"Let me try an idea." Ash said. Walking up to Mew, he was able to pet the Pokémon. "Goh, I think Mew is keeping us from grabbing our pokeballs, but otherwise we're free."
"So Mew is deciding whether or not we can do things. I wonder." Goh said managing to pull out his phone. 'snap'
"Goh did you just take a photo?" Ash asked.
"Yeah, come and look at it." Goh said turning around his phone.
On it was a photo of Ash and Mew.
"I guess that's one way to capture Mew." Ash said with a laugh.
"I still want to catch it, but clearly Mew doesn't want to be caught right now." Goh said, looking around.
"Umm, Goh." Ash said looking at his hand.
"What's up? Wait what's going on?" Goh said.
Ash and Goh were freaking out, they were glowing blue. The island was slowly fading away. As the light engulfed them, they prepared for the worst.
"Ash! Goh!" Chloe's voice was heard.
"Chloe? What are you doing here?" Ash asked.
"I live here." Chloe said.
Ash looked up, they were back at the Cerise Labratory!
"Where have you two been!" Professor Cerise yelled.
"We chased Mew to a strange island, I even got a picture of it." Goh said scrambling for his phone.
"Goh this is amazing, do you understand what this means." Professor Cerise said in shock.
"That I have a picture of Mew?" Goh said.
"Well yea, but not just that. You're one of the first people to have actual physical evidence of Mew." Professor Cerise said. "This is truly a wonder of researching."
"Hey Ash, you've got some pink stuff in your hair?" Chloe said, grabbing it.
"You don't think?" Ash asked Goh.
"It was very close to you." Goh said.
"What are you two talking about?" Chloe asked.
"That might be Mew's fur." Ash said in shock.
