I don't own Hetalia okay? I don't have much else for this opening. Anyway, enough of this A/N, on with the fic!

My Dearest Sister Katyusha,
I know it has been a very long time since we left New York and moved all the way to the Pacific Oceanside town of San Diego. I should have written to you much sooner than now, and for that I deeply apologize. Having you resort to a telegram was so neglectful of me, it was almost shameful. It was a nearly two-week trek from New York to San Diego in the first place. We also had to get the children settled and I wanted to make sure that Fredka was getting into his job, which I am glad to say he has taken to well. He sees more action as he calls it and feels like he is doing much more than just sitting at a desk. That was killing him. He needs to be in the action and he could only repress that for so long. The fact he stayed out of the Great War on Vanya's wishes and he died did not do him well and he had to do something physical and risky to somewhat atone for it. He already has stopped a few shipments coming in from the border. We are not very far from the Mexican border and I have been learning a bit more Spanish from our neighbors, who are from Mexico and find my Russian quite interesting.
Fredka had the furniture and house already set up for us when we were to move out here, we just had to move the clothing and the children's toys and our precious items. It is a decent sized home, we have a big bay window and are fairly close to the beach. Nikolai spent most of the summer heading to the beach and swimming more than anything else. Ivan and Anya did spend a lot of time at the beach and brought Alexei as well, and he would go as crazy as Fredka does when he sees whales. Something did get me and it was one day at the beach when Nikolai came back to Fredka and I, as we were watching Anya build a sand castle and he brought up some shells that were not very common in New York's beaches and he said that he wished he could have brought Uncle Dyadya Ivan here to see it. And it got me wishing that Vanya did make it as this was the place he was dreaming of when he spoke of America before he moved. But if we came straight here, I never would have met Fredka
Ivan and Anya started school this fall and Nikolai started in a new school and with a new troop for cub scouts. I was not so worried about Ivan and Anya; they were starting fresh but Nikolai had spent a few years in school in New York but he took to his new classmates well. Much like Fredka did with the other Marshalls. I have enclosed some gifts we had put together for Chadwick, Matvey and you as we missed every one of those birthdays. Honestly cannot forget Chadwick and Matvey's as they share birthdays with Fredka and Alexei respectively. It is almost comical that our youngest children share birthdays with our respective brother in law. I know it is a great distance but I hope that we can repair the rifts that life had put in our ways. I do hope that Eliza and Roderich and their child are making a good use of our house. It's theirs now and I know I shouldn't worry about it, but part of me does as I had grown to respect her. I do hope to hear back from you much faster than I first wrote.
Your younger sister,
Natalya Jones
So how was that? Good? Bad? Short? Long? Let me know in a review. I don't quite know how long this one will be just yet as the other I had a more defined plan. But the way it is going this one will be longer than the other. One is over a few years, this a whole decade practically. Anyway, remember to read (well you just did) and to review. Ciao for now,
