"Sweetie, slowing down andresting is important for health, the city can handle you not there for one night, right?" she told Casey makimg her nod, plus she was pretty exhausted, lying back down beside her mom, as this resting thing did feel nice, she had been having fun with her parents zoning out into sleep.
However that next morning, because of being exhausted, Casey had slept in, missing school, despite Shocket trying to wake her which had failed, makimg Rocket understand wondering what was going on with his niece lately hoping that Ranger and Riley were alright with this taking Linda and Shocket to school, guessing Casey hated school, so would talk to Ranger and Riley about this later, when they were awake.
Casey was surprised, wakimg up realising t was noon along sith her mom anddad, guessing that was why why she'd heard Shocket's voice in here earlier, feelimg better after resting, guessing her parents were right about the slowing-down thing alomg with resting makimgRanger and Riley agree, goimg to the kitchen to have quite a late breakfast, or brunch as Rocket called it makimg them coffee to wake them up mentally, makimg Rocket relieved they were awake, askimg how they had gotten jp so late hearing Ranger telling him that he and Riley had been helping Casey slow down resting, since she was exhausted along with zoning out in class so it was a good thing Casey was home seeing her drinkimg coffee deciding not go tell hI'm, about the spark thing which had happened last night, gettimg an idea to help Casey figure that out.
"We're just wanting, to help our little kit like school, you know?" Riley told him.
"We get that, as she seems exhausted, when she omes home." Rocket replied.
Casey was feelimg annoyed as she was tryimg to put Nutella on her pancakes, shooting the lid off, as sparks emitted from her furry fingers, stunning her that it happened again like last nignite, wondering why it was happening, unaware that Rockethad seen this wondering if this was to do with her powers, making Ranger and Riley nod, wanting to let Casey figure it out herself which Rocket was impressed by, hopimg that Shocket was haa good day, makimg Lylla agree at this, knowing their kit loved her new school.
"Why do you think the spark thimg is happenimg, another power?" Caseyasked her parents.
"We don't know, maybe you can figure t out, then get back to us, alright?" Ranger told her.
She was goimg to her room afterwards, working on the assignment that her parents h, listening to music while working on it, feeling frustrated that she couldn't figure it out, feeling it buzz through her, as sparks emitted out of her paws, makimg her jaw drop hoing to find her parents, using her super-speed power finding them with Rocket and Howard, who was Linda's dad that was helping Ranger and Riley draw up a contract, for their kit involving school wondering what she wanted
"I figured out why the spark thing happens, it happens when I get frustrated." she told them.
"That's awesome, we knewyou could do it, plus maybe you could do the same with school." Riley said.
"What're you talkimg about, doing that with school, what do you mean?" Casey asked confused.
Ranger and Riley told her and showed her the contract they had came up with, reading it to her, explaining what some of the words meant makimg the female kit anxious, takimg off using her flyimg-power, which Rocket knew about and his sibs who were her parents did ot making them worried wondering where in the city their sweet girl would fly to, makimg him realise, where.

"Wow, so Casey's Raccoon Girl, the mysterious rebel from the news, that's pretty cool, being the parents of an awesome super-heroine, huh?" she said makimg them surprised, askimg how she knew, seeing Lylla show the contract, makimg them facepalm, destroying the contract knowing Casey would be happy when she came back, if she did that was, seeimg Rocket return with Linda and Shocket seeing them giving her and Howard alomg with Rocket permission slips, meaning a field-Trup.
"Mom and I will talk about itand then sign it, alright?" Rocket told Shocket.
Lylla knew by the anxious look on his furry face, that he didn't want Shocket, to go on this field-trip to the zoo, in case anything happened to her, as he had overheard Shocket saying she wanted to bring home a tiger, makimg Lylla giggle hysterically at this assuring him, that Shocket would be alright, plus she had his smarts and her powers so she would be safe, makimg him relent signing the form, knowing Shocket would be happy.
Casey then returned, huggimg her parents unaware it was one of her super-stromg hugs letting go, tellimg them her feelings about the contract situation, that she was sorry for flyimg off, feelimg tears sting her eyes, making her parents understand hugging her explaining why they had thought it had been a good idea, saying they had destroyed it, unaware of Lylla knowing her secret identity askimg them how she had found out, hopimg her uncle didn't know either, or he would never let her leave the compound at night.
"She found out by reading the contract, and no, uncle Rockie doesn't know, your aunt can keep a secret." Riley assured her makimg Casey relieved despite being grounded for a while because she had flown away makimg the female kit understand relieving them, makimg Rocket happy that she was back, knowing how worried her folks had been, seeing Shocket runnimg around with the other kids.
"We should encourage her, to make friends, besides Crystal, that she talks about a lot." Ranger said.
"Baby steps, alright, bro, just let Casey be, on that subject, alright?" Rocket replied to him.
