"Welcome everyone to Art Day!" Mrs. Starscorder, "I hope that you all found your weekends well."

Everyone all agreed with that statement. As Mrs. Starscorder went on, "I see that we have some new faces here, so let me just run down with you three the idea of Art Day: Every other week, your class has an entire day with me where we try to get done as much work as we can. Do some help around the school and even helping with future Art Projects! And for today, I've brought all of you to the Auditorium."

As you guessed, the entire class was in the auditorium, getting it ready for the School-Play coming up in a few weeks.

The class was all entirely giddy for it. As they had seen this school's play even back when they were in middle school and elementary school. It was basically their favourite part of the month.

"Ah shucks, Ah've never actually seen a play before," Sunflower said sheepishly, "What's it like cuz..."

"Think of it, kinda like the movies," Applejack added, "But y'all have to see it, it's one of the coolest things to see in a theatre."

Mrs. Starscorder couldn't help but feel overjoyed, knowing that this would be Sunflower's first play if she went to it, "Oh, how exciting. Let me tell you, dear, going to your first play is one of the most exciting experiences ever!"

"Yeah, right so speaking of the play? Can we finally get some details of who's gonna be in it?" Rainbow Dash asked, "And maybe the plot perhaps?"

"That's a surprise for later, dear," Mrs. Starscorder slyly grinned, "Where would the fun be in telling you now?"

Suddenly, the doors to the auditorium opened. Averting the teacher's attention...

To her...dismay, Flash Sentry walked into the theatre. Noticeably with a bandage on the side of his forehead.

"Mr. Sentry..." She rolled her eyes and angrily sighed, mumbling to herself, "Late as always I see..."

"I was writing a test..." Flash rolled his eyes and turned around immediately, "Seeing how you don't want me here, I'll just go hang out on the roof. If you don't mind?"

Mrs. Starscorder shrugged, honestly she couldn't care less where Flash went. As long as it was away from the sets, "Yes, yes. Whatever floats your boat." She sneered.

Flash headed for the exit, before glaring back and telling the teacher one more thing, "And by the way, I know you hate me," Mrs. Starscorder widened her eyes to that, as she glanced at Flash. As he went on, "You don't need to be so subtle about it!"

He stormed out of the theatre, slamming the doors shut behind him.

All the art teacher did was glare at that scene, shaking her head and doing her best to just brush off that interaction, "That boy is such a pest,"

And usually, the class would agree here. Which they did...

well, sort of...

For them, they were able to realize that he was not his self. Well, last week Flash was acting a lot different than usual...

They all still remembered it vividly. How Flash was kissed by three attractive girls in front of the entire class. Before watching him become embarrassed, again something they'd never seen from his before. And to top it all off, fainting right in front of the entire class.

Yeah, it was a pretty safe bet to assume Flash's entire brain crashed and now he's just...in a perplexed state of mind. And honestly...they didn't even know what to make of the situation.

Were they supposed to say anything at all?

"Well, now that he's gone. I suppose we can get started now," She cleared her throat and regained her composure, "Just for the hour, I want you all to help me clean up the auditorium. Especially backstage, the art team had left some extra materials that we won't be needing anymore. So we can store them in the art room,"

With that, the students all divided themselves amongst each other and began to help out around the theatre. All cleaning up seats. And whatnot.

"So...you all like Flash, huh?"

Adagio widened her eyes a little as she looked back and glanced at Sunset Shimmer. The two were just moving some materials to the art room, "Hm?"

Sunset blinked twice and sighed, "Well, you know you and...Sonata and Ember all fought over him and..."

"I think there's a misunderstanding."

Sunset widened her eyes and cocked her eyebrow, "What?"

Adagio chuckled, "Well all were fighting over who'd have the better odds of being a couple. We never explicitly said we had any romantic infatuation with him, we just wanted to know that between the three of us, who'd make the better couple."

"B-But you kissed him!" Sunset responded, finding herself blushing a little.

Adagio giggled, merely brushing off the interaction that'd happened in class, "Well, I'm pretty competitive. Twilight told us what we could do to up our odds. Sooo...I just put two and two together and just went for it."

Sunset's shoulders dropped. She was saying it like it was nothing. Yet, she had practically shaken up the entire class just doing that right on the spot. Right in front of everybody.

And...well she had never seen Flash act like that before. Him just being beat red and completely embarrassed and whatnot. It was so odd to think of the expression on his face. It was nothing like his usual, demeanour...

"Oh..."

"Besides, I do actually hold some respect for him," Adagio said, as her smirk widened.

Sunset widened her eyes, being snapped back into reality. "R-Really?"

"Yeah, speaking of which. Why do all of you hate him so much? He seems like a nice person," said Adagio, "I've kind of noticed how much no one here likes him actually. Like the entire city is against him or something. What's the deal with that,"

Of course, she was gonna ask that...

Even though Flash already told Adagio what to expect and why. The Dragon was still rather curious of what everybody else really thought of him.

Anyway...

Sunset frowned, really hoping that that question wouldn't come up. Because of course, it would go into history that's supposed to just stay in Canterlot, rather than getting out in the public.

"W-Well...Um..." Sunset found herself fumbling with her words to come up with something. She then sighed, promptly narrowing her eyes on Adagio, "Look, to tell you the truth. The guy's been really impulsive and overall he's been pulled so many pranks on us that he kind of deserves everything he gets!"

Adagio's smirked widened, as that piqued her interest, "Pranks, huh? Oh please go on..."

Sunset sighed, "Honestly, I couldn't tell you how many he's pulled on us. He's been doing it since in elementary school," She scowled, "But there's one I'll always remember..."

Sunset Shimmer, only two years prior...

As you'd expect she was shorter like the rest of her classmates and looked different from how she looks now.

For starters, her hair was in pigtails, instead of letting her hair out free most of the time. She, like the rest of the students. also wore the school's uniform. A Blue long sleeve with a white ascot over a white skirt.

"It was around mid-terms" Sunset narrated, "And the entire Middle School Population was in mandatory attendance. And well, everyone from our class was supposed to be there...but Sentry never showed up that day. At least that's what we thought."

The entire gymnasium was filled with students from their respective classes all sitting on the floor. Their eyes glued to the stage as the Principal of the School: An early 30's male with short black hair dawning a formal clad of a grey blazer and slacks stood behind the microphone.

"Greetings, Seventh and Eighth Graders. Welcome to the mid-term assembly," The principal, greeted warmly. "I would like to congratulate each and every one of you for your outstanding work throughout semester 1,"

"We had all passed the mid-terms test. I remember being super pumped that day. Just because of how well I did on the exam. I was super pumped to get my grade on it back!"

But unknown to all of them, up above. At the rafters of the gym was Flash Sentry. He still had that signature spiky hair, even at the young age of twelve. While also wearing a 'pseudo uniform': A black jumpsuit: A black buttoned long sleeve school uniform, black slacks and black loafers. A contrast from the usual blue jumpsuit most other students wore.

He was silently chuckling. This had to be his best prank yet...

He had snuck in the night before. Setting up paint buckets full of green and yellow paint. Along with that, he had made a contraption that consisted of a boom box and microphone he had found.

The buckets of paint hung over the students and faculty unknowingly. As all it took was the pull of rope to dump all the paint onto the other students below.

The Principal went on, "As you all know, Second Semester is approaching. And let me be sure to tell you, this isn't going to be a bed of roses. It's gonna be tough, but I believe in all of you and know you're all capable..."

"Our Principal Silverbow was giving us a speech about what to expect for the second semester," Sunset explained, "From what I remember, he was encouraging each and every one of us in that room."

Flash grinned widely. He could only imagine everybody's faces after this entire execution of the prank.

Flash had figured out something new that none of the class had figured out. Because Ki generated a considerable amount of heat. So he taught himself to compress his Ki into a gaseous ball.

He grinned, before blowing the ball of heat towards the fire sprinklers.

And it was clockwork from there...

The Principal stopped midway through his speech. Quirking his eyebrow as he sensed a faint use of Ki up above him. Drawing attention from the rest of the students. As they all looked at the Principal confusingly.

But sure enough...

Suddenly, Flash's contraption began to play techno music. Averting everybody's attention to the ceiling. But shortly after, the fire alarm began to go off! Startling everyone in the gymnasium...

"I remembered the fire alarm going off and some odd dubstepish music blasting throughout the gym. Which even to this day, I don't even know how pulled that off."

If things didn't get worse enough. The fire sprinklers were set off and began to spray the entire Middle school student body. Letting off an even louder ringing sound than the fire alarm. As everybody began to get drenched in water. Prompting everyone to begin to scream and shout from the hectic activity. Prompting them to get out of their seats and head for the door.

Before finally, Flash pulled on the rope that controlled a pulley system he had made overnight.

Green and Yellow Paint fell from the ceiling, just getting dumped on everybody! Ruining their outfits as even the teachers and the Principal were hit in the crossfire. Getting paint dumped all over them!

Flash was dying from the scene, laughing hysterically from it.

"The next thing we knew, the sprinklers went off and we had paint dumped all over us!" Sunset grit her teeth, "We had to go home early that day and you wouldn't believe how long Rarity was ranting about this on her blog!"

Eventually. Flash finally put an end to it. Shutting off the music. By then, some teachers had managed to make it to the fire alarm and shut it off while the sprinklers finally ran their course.

And it was there, they began all to hear Flash laugh maniacally at the scene. As all the students widened their eyes and looking up to see him.

"Well, you all certainly dressed for the occasion.

The students and the teachers all glared at the laughing pre-teen. As one of the female teachers snarled at him, "You insolent little brat! Oh, when I get my hands on you!"

Flash grinned, that was exactly what he wanted to hear. Without so much so as even hesitating. Stunning everyone else. Flash grabbed a hold of a hanging rope from the rafters and slid down, landing right onto the ground. Gesturing for her to do her worst, "You'll have to catch me!" He stuck out his tongue and turned around, running straight for the exit.

The teacher glared at him, as she began to chase him with other fellow colleagues, "GET BACK HERE YOU PUNK!" She snarled.

All the students began to all talk amongst each other angrily about what Flash had just pulled on them.

But meanwhile...

Principal Silverbow couldn't help but smirk. Silently chuckling to himself, "Should've known..."

Sunset grit her teeth, still sour about the incident. "The Prank managed to garner so much attention across our city that it made the paper. Likewise, that bastard Sentry got off almost scot-free,"

Adagio cocked her eyebrow, "Could you reiterate?"

Sunset sighed, "From what our teacher told us. Principal Silverbow thought the prank was hilarious and because he liked it so much he decided not to expel Sentry. But...due to some backlash on his end and insistence of the parents. He did put Flash on suspension and had him clean the entire Gym up that entire winter break."

Adagio smirked, "This Principal of yours must've really liked Flash."

Sunset frowned and sighed, "Y-Yeah but...he sort of liked everyone in his school..."

Adagio caught that tone of change. She quirked her eyebrow and frowned. Actually concerned, "Something wrong?"

"It's...well," She sighed dejectedly, "Principal Silverbow passed away last year..."

Adagio widened her eyes a little, "Oh...My apologies then if I brought out some sensitive memories."

"I-It's fine," Sunset unlocked the door to the art door, "It's just, he was one of the nicest people in our old school. The guy was fun, serious and helped all of us along the way. He got through to all of us and made school fun," She smiled and glanced at Adagio, "You would've love to meet the guy!"

Adagio smiled, and chuckled softly, "Yes I suppose so."

Flash was playing with his Yo-Yo, the one he had gotten from Xigate. Needless to say, his entire head was a complete mess...

He grit his teeth and squinted. As he could still vividly remember all three Dragon Girls kissing him right then and there. Furthermore, now he had the reminiscence of Strawberry, Candy Cane and Mint in his mouth (As the latter had worn their respective chapstick).

"I can't believe that...happened..."

He knew that Adagio was always the one who'd tend to tease him and antagonize him. But...oh man what she had pulled in class was just...he didn't know what to think!

On one hand, he felt so embarrassed by it all. Just to get his first kiss delivered right then and there in front of the entire class that hates him!

But, on the other hand. He couldn't help but kind of like it-

Flash blushed, shaking his head as he was thinking logically, "Wait, hold on there Sentry! All of his started because she just wants to pull an experiment," He slapped his forehead, "Given her nature, she seems more than capable of going this far. But the other two..."

Flash still couldn't figure that story out. I mean, it'd all started out as just a little disagreement, before becoming an argument and then...

Yeah.

He sighed and narrowed his view onto the scenery in the distance, "They must've been really competitive or something..." He took a deep breath, "I can't tell Mino or Sugarbelle about this. They'd scold me for weeks on end if they found out..."

"Well, you sure seemed pretty mad at the teacher..."

Flash widened his eyes, looking back to see Sunflower standing there with her arms crossed. Leaning against the doorway with a smug smirk/

"Shouldn't you be helping out with the rest of the class?"

Sunflower giggled, "Ah'm only slippin' out for a couple o' minutes," She walked outside and continued, "Anyway, how're you holdin' up?"

Flash sighed, as he slapped his forehead, "Honestly, I have no idea how I'm supposed to respond to any of this. I-It's best that I let some time pass before discussing it."

"Well, you did seem offly embarrassed," Sunflower chuckled, "Ah don't think Ah've ever seen you that red before."

"What-Look it all happened so fast I barely realized what was going on..." Flash explained, "Besides, who kisses somebody like that in front of the entire class!"

"Well, apparently Adagio, Ember and Sonata," Sunflower responded, "They must all really have a thing for you."

Flash shook his head, "I doubt Adagio's being serious at all. She's kind of the one to always tease me when she gets the chance."

Sunflower widened her eyes, "And you live with her?"

"Yup..." He blushed again, "A-And more or less...that was my first kiss."

Sunflower widened her eyes even more to that slew of information, "R-Really?"

"Yeah...um," Flash sighed, "Look, I'd never exactly expected to go through that ever in my entire life. But uh, man I kind of wished it didn't happen in front of the entire class. It just felt kinda embarrassing..."

Sunny Seed cocked her eyebrow to that, a little curious about that statement. "So then where would you want it?"

Flash brushed that statement off, "T-That doesn't matter. Besides, what's done is done. I'm not gonna try and worry about it too much."

"Come on!" Sunflower insisted, "We're friends. I mean, we can talk can't we?"

Flash narrowed his eyes on Sunflower. She was headstrong. There was no way he could get out of a conversation with her unless it was in a resolution she found alright.

But still, he had to answer as honestly as he could.

"That's not something I'd ever think about. I mean, given the fact that this dump hasn't exactly been a nurturing home," He said, "But...I am so not the kind of person to just make out in public. Not my style..."

Sunflower quirked her eyebrow, "So then you'd want it to be in private then?"

"Sunflower..."

Sunflower grinned, before turning around, "Well, Ah better get back with helpin' out. See ya around."

To Be Continued...

A/N: So It's dawned on me that for the most part, Flash's entire childhood has mostly been vague throughout the story with the only few chapters that delved into it was Origin all the way back In Chapter 9 and one of the Parts of the Frostbite Arc. Other than that, It's been more or less some nods that state: "Everyone Hates me in this city; My childhood was horrible and the fact that Flash was known across the city for pulling pranks on more than one occasion.

So I decided to mould this Chapter into a bit of a Flashback one that delved into events that'd happened before the story after Adagio asks Sunset why she and the rest of the city hated Flash so much.

Furthermore, I decided to add another character that didn't hate Flash for future use later...
